Peace, the very word itself seemed alien to many who fought during the Era of Warring States, where many nations hired shinobi clans to act as their own private militia in a means to conquer more land and to expand the nations interests. The loyalty of these various would ultimately reside with the highest bidder and more often than not, numerous clans would come in conflict with each other over and over again. Due to the near constant presence of battle, the average lifespan for shinobi of this era rounded out to thirty-years of age due to the fact that children were often placed on the battlefield and therefore suffered the greatest number of fatalities. However, as the bloodshed continued and lives were lost in countless numbers, two clans emerged to the forefront as the most powerful amongst the shinobi clans; these two clans were the famed Senju Clan of the Forest, infamous for their myriad mastery of the shinobi arts, and the Uchiha Clan, widely-known for their powerful chakra and their dōjutsu, the Sharingan. Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha, leaders of the Senju and Uchiha clans respectively, would become the most powerful shinobi of their day alongside their younger siblings, Tobirama and Izuna. In fonder times, Hashirama and Madara had met as children, unbeknownst to the other that they belonged to rival clans. As the met each other time and time again, the two would come to share a dream, a dream of a place where children could grow old and live to sip and savour the taste of alcohol. A place where children were children could be educated without the fear of being shipped out to the battlefield to suffer a premature death. Though they would do battle as their clans were hired to serve each nations goals, that 'pipe dream' as Madara once referred to it, never left the idealistic Hashirama and as they fought for the first time where Madara's back touched the ground, that dream seemed to fantasy as both Madara wished to die by his hand and Tobirama wished to erase Madara from the earth. Hashirama reproached his younger brother, upon once again pleading with Madara about the dream they shared as children. Upon hearing this, lamenting that he had not brothers to protect, as Izuna succumbed to wounds inflicted upon by Tobirama, Madara gave his opposite number an ultimatum; either kill Tobirama or kill himself. This was the only way that they could possibly show their guys to each other. Thanking Madara for his kindness, Hashirama intended to kill himself to ensure peace between the Senju and the Uchiha and gave Tobirama instruction not to offend the latter. Before he could see the blow through, Madara stopped Hashirama, speaking as to how he had shown him his guts.

Following this battle, the two signed a treaty instilling peace between the two clans, and their respective heads went about forging that idealistic dream of theirs into concrete reality, upon the very sight they had envisioned the settlement to be built as children. Asking of his companion what this settlement is to be called, Madara grasps a cascading leaf flowing through the air, peering through the hole within it at his friend. The Village Hidden in the Leaves, and thus it would be called forever onward. As the village grew in size, more clans began to join such as the Sarutobi and the Shimura clans, which Madara expressed great surprise at. Though peace reigned throughout the Land of Fire and the one village per country system was being copied elsewhere, tension within the village was smouldering. Madara, feeling great disappointment at being named Hokage despite Hashirama insisting that he should be, and fears about how Tobirama would treat the Uchiha clan after Hashirama's passing, caused Madara to leave the village much to his friend's dismay. Later on, the former head of the Uchiha clan would come to declare war on Konoha, prompting Hashirama to engage his former friend in combat. Their titanic battle would shift the earth, displace rivers and create a new landscape in a battle that would involve the Nine-Tails. As the bout neared its close, Madara thought that he had won the fight only to realise that it was a Wood Clone. Hashirama strikes his opponent from the back, a blade piercing through his chest. Anyone who tries to harm it, whether they are my friends, siblings or my own children...I will not forgive them, Hashirama solemnly spoke, placing the safety of the village above his friendship with Madara.

As one era ends, another begins.

Some time after the defection of Madara from the village, the myriad nations that were scattered around the shinobi world began to agitate against each other. In a manner similar to the circumstances of the Era of the Warring States, these nations would not need to hire out individual clans but a village worth of these various clans amalgamated together. The First Shinobi World War begun as a result of various different nations being pitted against each other, with the conflict going on a for a period of five years before the first Kage Summit in history was called Hashirama Senju. Though most of the Kage present seemed to wish for the negotiations to go in a cooperative and peaceful direction, the proposals of the Kazekage aimed to disrupt this process, that instead of being provided a Tailed Beast, since they possessed one in the form of the One-Tailed Shukaku, he demanded that fertile land be given to the Land of Wind from the Land of Fire, its closest neighbour and that they provided 30% of the asking price that the other nations would pay for their respective tailed beasts. As the negotiations looked to be heading for disaster, Hashirama thought back to that fateful encounter with Madara and the difficult choice he had to make. Addressing the Kazekage, Hashirama informed that should him and his nation be the only obstacle to peace, he would resolutely try to defeat with all his might, venomously admitting that he should he need to, he would call on the abilities of the Tailed Beasts to sack Sunagakure and force the Land of Wind into submission. Sensing the resolve behind the Hokage's words, the peace treaty was signed and the Tailed Beasts were distributed amongst the various villages; the Nine-Tails remained in Konoha, sealed within Hashirama's wife Mito Uzumaki; the Eight-Tails and the Two-Tails were sent to Kumogakure; the Seven-Tails was distributed to a defeated Sunagakure; the Three-Tails and the Five-Tails were brought into the possession of Kirigakure; and finally, the Four-Tails and the Six-Tails were handed over to Iwagakure. At long last, peace reigned throughout the shinobi world and Hashirama, feeling that his role was finished, having seen enough bloodshed and strife for one lifetime, resigns and names Tobirama as the Second Hokage, remaining on as an adviser.

Now, twenty five years later, the world has been at peace for what some would deem an indefinite period of peace. Tobirama establishes the institutions such as the Academy, the ANBU, the Chūnin Exams as well as the Konoha Police Force. Though originally deigning to have the Uchiha bare the sole responsibility of policing, upon consultation and deliberation with Hashirama, eventually deigned for all clans of the villages to be able to join the force, thus ensuring better integration of the Uchiha within the framework of the village itself. Though many members of the Senju clan would intermarry into the various other clans that joined the village upon its inception as a means to strengthen the village as a whole, Tobirama would deign it important to ensure that the Senju clan as a whole would not disappear entirely through intermarriage and to achieve this end, would marry and have a child of his own thus ensuring the survival of the clan. Though this generation knows not war, their exist numerous people who have seen the horrors of the early years of the First Shinobi World War and their tales have passed on to their children and grandchildren as examples of bravery and power. Now, a new generation of shinobi arise, having graduated from the Academy that once was a shared dream of Hashirama and Madara, they aim to live up the standards of the past with an ever-watching eye on the future.

Eiko, shouldn’t you be going soon?” The young girl’s mother hummer from behind her desk, eyeing her daughter skim through one of her textbooks. It was a toxicology book that Eiko had thumbed over and read through many times before, but the hurried, stiff way she was flipping through the pages this morning, as if she wasn’t really seeing the pages, made it painfully obvious that something was weighing on her mind. And, considering what today was, her mother could easily guess just what it was that had Eiko so on-edge; She was anxious about meeting with her team.
Not yet. If I show up too early, I might seem too eager or something,” Eiko murmured, nibbling at the inside of her lip and giving a tense shrug of her slender shoulders as she skimmed over a page detailing types of poisonous plants found outdoors and what their effect on the human body would be. Not that she wasn’t eager; She just didn’t want to be standing awkwardly around for over an hour, waiting for the others to show up. Didn’t want to give off the impression that she was some kind of goody-goody… Which begged the question of why she had woken up so early, getting up even before the sun began to rise to get ready.
She had already gone to the hot springs to wake herself up some, took way more time than necessary to part her hair into obnoxiously symmetrical pigtails, tying each small red ribbon into place as perfectly as she could manage, keeping her dusty-brown hair neatly in place. The night before, she had painted her finger and toenails a daisy-yellow, even if she knew it would likely go unnoticed, and had even bought a new sweet pink sweater for the occasion! Perhaps it was kinda vain to worry about her appearance so much, but first impressions mattered, right? She had even coaxed her mom into letting her use a bit of her plum-scented perfume; Just a touch of it. Finishing the look, she clipped her lucky bunny charm to the belt loop of her shorts - which were hidden by the large sweater. It was perhaps childish, but she liked to believe the gift from her sister was lucky, even if she knew it was more or less all in her mind.
Well, I have a meeting in a few minutes, and a fully-booked day of appointments after that. Meaning…” Her voice trailed off, fully expecting Eiko to know what that meant. And, though she dreaded it, she knew exactly what her mom was getting at. “Meaning, I can’t use your office as a hiding place for another hour… unless I promise to lock up when I leave?” The pigtailed girl added on with a hopeful smile, peeking across the desk at the woman with the best case of ‘puppy dog eyes’ she could muster. She was shot down by the smirk her mother shot her, standing and leaning over the desk to pluck the book from Eiko’s grasp while giving her a light peck atop the head simultaneously. “Sorry, sweetheart, but you know that never works on me. Besides! You shouldn’t be hiding in this stuffy old office when you could be greeting your friends and maybe getting to know them a little while you wait, right?
Well… her mom did have a point, but Eiko didn’t know if she could consider her teammates her ‘friends’. She wanted to, but it wasn’t like she had ever gone out of her way to talk to either of them before. And she didn’t know where to even find them! Er, well, one of them was an Uchiha so she kind of had an idea where he would be, but that was beside the point! Wouldn’t it be weird for her to just randomly show up at his doorstep or stop him on the street? Right?
Before she could allow her ever-dramatic mind to eat her alive, she blinked back to reality as her mother ushered her from her office, wished her ‘good luck!’, and left her standing alone in the middle of the hospital, wondering just what she should do with herself now. Well… whatever she did, standing in the middle of the dark hallway hardly sounded ideal, so she decided to head outside and venture around, telling herself that she wouldn’t be a creep and go stalking for either of her teammates. Because that would be weird. And she didn’t want to seem weird.
Subconsciously, though, she didn’t know where to take her ‘aimless’ wandering, and wound up standing just outside the Uchiha residential area before she even knew it. She stood there a moment, tugging nervously at the sleeves of her oversized sweatshirt as she stared at the large walls, painted with the clan’s emblem, denoting the family’s importance and power. She had never been within the walls of the Uchiha’s ‘den’ (as she sometimes thought of it), and didn’t intend to go in there today. She had no real business in there, after all, and she was honestly nervous enough lingering so close to the dwelling.
She’d just stand out here a few minutes, she assured herself. If Tomoki didn’t rear his head, she’d leave and just head to their meeting spot. Besides, there was a definite chance he had already left… Sighing, Eiko opted to shift and lean against the wall, just beside the entrance to the Uchiha residential area, tugging at her long sleeves and chewing at her bottom lip all the while.
Just a few minutes, she would again reassured herself.

Tomoki was already up. He was dilly-dallying around his house trying to get himself ready for his team's first meeting. Once the young man finished cleaning himself up and getting ready, he walked out of his house and towards the entrance of The Uchiha Residential Area.

On his way there he noticed Eiko was standing there. It looked to him as if she was waiting for him. "Well what do we have here?" He asked himself as a smile crept on his face. Shorty after, he walked to the entrance of The Uchiha Residential Area and tried to sneak outside and lean on the wall without being seen as if he just appeared there. The way he leaned on the wall obviously told he was trying to be cool. He had one foot planted against the wall with his arms crossed.

"So…" Tomoki was now whistling, his tone lowering an octave, clearly flexing his muscles under his clothes, "You come here often?"

‘Why am I here? This is weird.’ She thought to herself, stifling a small internal groan at what she must look like to passerby. Did Tomoki even know who she was; Or care? He was kinda popular at school, especially with the other girls, whereas she… well, wasn’t. Would being seen with her wound his reputation? Would he be creeped out that she was out here waiting on him like this? Maybe he’d be irritated at her. She definitely wouldn’t blame him! Again, she withheld a small groan, lightly slapping her hands over her cheeks to snap herself out of it. “It’s not weird to wait for your teammate!” She said aloud to herself before she could continue her self-induced downward spiralling. And she was right! Wasn’t she? They were on a team, so there was totally nothing weird at all about just wanting to walk with him!
“So…”
The suave, or attempted-suave, voice nearly caused Eiko to jump out of her skin. Squeaking, she jerked her head around and stared wide-eyed at the Uchiha whom had appeared out of seemingly nowhere. In reality, he had managed to slither up beside her while she was having her mini internal panic attack. Either way, she hadn’t noticed him settle in against the wall only a few short feet away from her; A testament to how much she had to learn about becoming a shinobi…
U-uh, huh??” She stammered, hand over her chest as if to try and keep it from popping out as she tried to comprehend what he had said. Her nerves were in such a mess that it flew right over her head that he could be attempting to flirt with her, and instead, she took it a totally different way. “N-no! Not at all! I mean, um, I do walk by here every now and then when I go to the grocery store I guess??” Her nervous babbling was cut short when she noticed he seemed to be twitching - failing to notice it was just him attempting to flex and look cool. Immediately, her mind began to analyse the situation, going from panic mode to curious mode in the blink of an eye.
What were some main causes for muscle spasms? Well, the obvious answers were dehydration, electrolyte anomalies, or (most likely) muscle fatigue from overexertion. “Have you tried stretching?” She asked, totally out of the blue, curiously approaching him and reaching forward to prod at his arm as he ‘flexed’. “Gentle stretches can relieve muscle spasms! Maybe if we get to the meeting area with enough time to spare we can stretch together!” She suggested, figuring he might feel weird stretching by himself. Plus, stretching was good for everyone!

Tomoki was kinda confused at the girls reaction but nonetheless, he smiled, exposing his pure white teeth. He stopped leaning on the wall as he smiled. "You’re a lot smarter than I look. Now let’s go get our stretch on!" He shouted as he walked over to her. Although she didn't quite get that he was trying to flirt with her he didn't mind. At least he got to stretch with her! All those times he's caught her in the books has proven that she is definitely smart.

"You look nice today. Love the yellow nails! And you smell fruity." He said as he made it over to her. Since he thought she was cute, back in the Academy he had checked her out multiple times so he noticed her nails and it looked like she spent a lot of time on her hair.

Hana Senju
Today had been marked on Hana’s calendar for weeks, months even. This morning she jumped out of bed as if escaping from an enemy ambush and quickly engaged in her morning routine. The past few days had been slow, like a glacier sliding over very jagged terrain, forced to crawl across the earth. Hana hated the anticipation, the suspense of all the waiting had made her irritable and a bit anxiously. She knew her teammates and she had nothing bad to say about them, they were skilled and for the most part they we’re pretty nice. As she sat down to breakfast Hana noticed her father wasn’t here. It brought a smile to her face, thinking about how diligent her dad was, he deserved to be the Hokage. She quickly focused herself, leaving the thoughts in her mind to fester San her mother approached with a plate. “It’s your first meeting honey, that’s what you’re going to wear? What about the uniform?” The older woman wore a smile as she placed the plate down on the table and wiped her hands on her apron. Hana grinned and pulled the plate closer to her as she looked over her mother’s appearance. “My sleeveless shirt and tights make it easier to for me to maneuver. Like your apron makes it easier to keep your clothes clean.” Hana chuckled softly and her mother echoed the sound, both of them sharing a good laugh before the young shining was given a kiss on the top of her head.

Because she had gotten up early Hana actually had time to enjoy and finish her breakfast. It was worth waking up early for too. But as soon as she was done eating, the young shinobi headed out into the village. Her lavender eyes swept over the streets Andy the people, a smile permanently plastered upon her face as she’s greeted the villagers that she considered to be her family. “Good morning. Good morning. Hello! Good morning. Have a nice day.” One familiar face after another, she spoke and hope that her greetings improved the mornings of those that she met. Initially she had been walking, talking her time, but when she saw a squad of her former classmates, she took off running. “We’re officially ninja!” She cheered just before she ascended to the rooftops and started leaping like a frog. Her short white hair suffered at the hands of the wind every time she jumped, but that’s same wind felt good on her arms with the sun also blanketing the village in warmth. She quickly made her way towards their team’s meeting location and as she stopped, she stretched her arms up above her head and then down to her toes. “Keep calm Hana, you’re on your way.” The young Senju inhaled deeply and as the air left her lips she smiled.

He noticed! A smile pulled at her lips as her mentioned both the perfume and her new nail color, a light buzz of happiness washing over her. She knew that he was perceptive, or at least she assumed as much based on his skills portrayed in the classroom, but she didn’t think he’d catch on to her nails so quickly considering her sleeves covered her hands most of the time. It made her feel good, though, and his determination to go and stretch was a boost to her otherwise wishy-washy confidence as well. “Right! Let’s do this!” She cheered with him, a bashful smile plastered across her face as she turned and prepared to head toward the training grounds, only to falter as a girl who used to be a member of their class zoomed by, shouting happily about them being ‘officially ninja’ before taking to the rooftops and zooming out of view.
Subconsciously, she lifted a hand and gently gripped the headband dangling from her neck. She was right! ‘Dad, soon I’ll make you proud; Just wait a little longer!’ She thought to herself, her smile widening and eyes glistening as she followed Hana’s example and took off in a sprint toward their designated meet-up point, giving Tomoki a playful glance as she did, figuring he’d catch the gist and follow her to meet he rest of their team.
More people were on the streets than before, heading to work, or heading off to start a mission, some maybe even going off to do a bit of training, too. Whatever the case, it was easy for Eiko to duck, bob, and zoom her way past them, offering a breathless ‘excuse me!’ or ‘sorry!’ if she misjudged her footing and bumped into anyone as they went. She could feeling burning in his lung by the time they made it beyond the walls and to one of the spacious training zones, her body already aching from the admittedly short run… yeah, she was quick, buuuut running for long periods of time? Definitely not her strong suit!
She was panting by the time she came to a stop, bracing against one of the many large trees that encompassed the moderately sized training area to catch her breath before they started anything. “Just.. a s.. Second..!” She panted out the words, closing her eyes and enjoying the cool breeze of the forest against her slightly flustered skin. Man, she really had it in for her, didn’t she??

Musū was already awake before the monotonous, irritating sound of the alarm clock reverberated throughout his rather compact room. Stretching as a part of his routine, the jonīn's eyes scanned over his room and locked on to his neatly folded uniform with shuriken holster and two shinobi pouches in tow. Though it was a small touch, keeping his living quarters as clean and ordered as humanely possibly always brought a smile to the young man's face as he began to don his uniform. In a few moments as he pulled up and put on the various items of clothing, Mu began to zip up his flak jacket, checking the scroll compartments to make sure the appropriate items were in their respective slots. Then, the most irritating aspect of his dressing up began as he fastened his tantō harness around the right-hand side shoulder guard of his flak jacket. I'll probably have to see about removing the shoulder guard altogether so as to give more room for manoeuvrability, the soon-to-be instructor remarked inwardly, hearing the much awaited click! as the harness was put into place. If push came to shove and a fight suddenly erupted, the last thing he wanted to happen was for his right arm to be somewhat sluggish due to the extra weight. Wrapping the shuriken holster around the designated tape around his left leg and fastening his two pouches to the back of his flak jacket, Mu exited the room, knowing full well that the house would be empty given the energetic nature of his entire family as a whole. Spotting some of the practice boards in the backyard, the young man unfastened and threw in one simple motion a shuriken which landed in the dead centre of the target followed by two more, forming a barbed triangle, wherein he threw one kunai which landed in the middle of the shape. Smirking at his accuracy, he quickly retrieved his tools, stashing them away before bolting out of the estate into the bustling and lively streets of Konohagakure. Making his way through the throngs of people amassing on the well-trodden ground of the village, he noticed what appeared to be the daughter of the Second Hokage dashing overhead, hopping between numerous buildings before the jonīn could formulate the idea of a response. Given the speed at which she was going, Mu could only assume that she was meeting her group for the first time. Good luck Young Lady, he wishes before making his way to the training grounds.

As he walking along the road, masterfully avoiding bumping into people as he read the reports of the students that were going to be placed under his care. The first genin that was placed under his care was Eiko Arai, a rather diminutive but empathetic individual girl that demonstrated excellent chakra control as a result of his medic-nin heritage. Though being indispensable from her teammates point of view, she can become a liability should she not become proficient in other aspects of the shinobi arts, Mu analysed before placing sealing the report into a peace of paper that he sealed them into prior. Releasing the second of the reports, he quickly glanced across and came the name of one of the founding clans of the village. Tomoki Uchiha, a seemingly giddy character but from what his teachers say always looked to help a friend in need. Possessing an inclination to help your teammates is a good mindset to have, but being diligent and being giddy are two things that are juxtaposed against each other in the shinobi and the later can lead to a premature death, he noted before sealing the report back into the peace of paper. Forming his right hand into the seal of confrontation hand sign so as to release the final report, Mu was surprised to find that the report detailing the personality and capabilities of the third member of his squad of genin did not appear. Confounded by this development, Mu realised that he forgot to seal that particular report into the paper, causing Mu to verbally chastise himself for the mistake. Resigning himself to the situation at hand, Mu continued on his way to the training grounds, acknowledging that he would reprise himself of the third individual's name and various other details when he meets his squad at the designated meeting point. Though he didn't show it, Mu was extremely excited for this new chapter in his life, appreciating the fact that he would play a leading role in the formation and education of the next generation of Konoha shinobi.

Kenji Uchiha
"Son of the Flame"

Kenji had been waiting for this. The day he met his team. For years he had trained and studied to be a genin, and he was finally going to be one. He was one step closer to fufilling his dream. He was already at the dinner table when his mother got up, the boy sewing his favorite jacket after it was torn during one of his more recent bouts of training. The older Uchiha smiled, saying, "You're just like your father, you know that?" Kenji stopped sewing, saying, "It what regards?" Ako shrugged, saying, "Always up early, ready to get out there." Kenji nodded, going back to his seeing as his mother sighed and started cooking. "I knoe you and your father aren't getting along. But he means well, Kenji. He's just...seen things." Kenji sighed, saying, "Yeah. I know. He's already up. He still angry about my one of my teammates being a Senju?" Ako nodded, saying, "Fuming. Nearly marched to the Academy to demand you be transferred. Had to stop him." Kenji soon finished, the Uchiha fan now repaired as he threw the jacket around his shoulders. It was a perfect fit, making Kenji smile at his handiwork. He did have some of that classic Uchiha perfectionism in him, after all. Ako smiled, continuing cooking as they both heard the familiar cacophony of the twins waking up. They jumped down the stairs, having been racing to see who could make it down faster. Kenji smiled, ruffling their hair as they shuffled by him, sitting in their chairs cutely. They'd just turned 4, and were energetic little guys, always ready to meet new people and places. If only their father had their attitude...

Kenji soon finished his breakfast, going upstairs to grab his gear. He strapped his pouches to his leg, pulled on his fingerless gloves, grabbed his kunai and shuriken, and tied his black forehead protector behind his head, smiling in the mirror. He then jumped down the stairs, grabbing his lunch and darting to the meeting spot. Ako smiled, yelling, "Be careful, sweetie!" Kenji nodded, saying, "I will, Mom!" He smiled as he enjoyed the run. Darting from rooftop to rooftop of the Uchiha complex, several of his kinsman looking up at the bright eyed genin. He waved at them, soon reaching Konoha at large. He dashed through the narrow alleys, even leaping over stands in the market to get a better vantage point. He smiled as he saw the mountain face, Hashirama and Tobirama's face emblazened on it. He wondered who the next Hokage would be. He wasn't sure, but he hoped he and his clan would even be alive to see that.

He soon arrived at the meeting point, saying, "Hello? Anybody? Did I get here early?" He waited for a response, leaning against a nearby surface as he fiddled with his kunai, spinning it around and doing all kinds of sick tricks he'd been practicing. He didn't have much free time that didn't involve sewing, but he did like to practice kunai tricks. It was a nice distraction from his father's scornful eye.

Tomoki watched as his teammate seemed to become way more happy or excited for some reason. But although he didn't know, he was happy for her. Then he heard what seemed to be a female, shout and then dash across them, hopping onto the rooftops.

Tomoki just stood there and stared at the direction the female went and blinked a few times before coming to his senses and directing his attention back to Eiko who had begin running towards their meet-up point and looked back at him, giving him a look that he definitely understood. With a smirk, the boy immediately sprinted after her with a smile.

Keeping up with her wasn't too difficult. Tomoki found it more fun to duck, bob, and zoom their way through the village. The rooftops and streets blurred below him as he felt a surge of adrenaline. The steady thump of his footsteps echoed in his ears as he begin to catch up to Aiko.

Tomoki jumped off one last rooftop before landing in the training grounds with Eiko. The grass flattened under the wind he brought in, in beautiful shimmering waves, each blade turned momentarily to reflect brilliant sunlight. Each one was no more than a slim wand of green, yet together they danced. "You still got it." He said as he walked over to her, panting.

Genin. They were actually genin now. The thought hadn’t fully crossed her mind until the daughter of the Hokage had brought it to light just a few minutes prior. Or rather, she hadn’t stopped yet to think of the implications that came with the title ‘genin’. Sure, they were the lowest ranking ninja in the village, but that didn’t mean their role was miniscule or to be looked down upon! This meant they could actually start giving back to the village that kept them safe, completing missions that in the long run helped out Konoha’s economy. Plus, genin was the stepping stone to the next level; Chunin!
It wouldn’t be a cake walk. They’d have to claw their way to the top, Eiko especially, as she currently possessed no real combat abilities. She understood that medic-nin were generally never placed directly on the front line, and were to avoid battle at all cost to remain useful to the rest of the squad. However, until she became a medic-nin, she’d need to find some kind of way to make herself more useful…
She shook such thoughts off for the time being when she heard the crunching of grass just feet behind her, indicating that Tomoki had just arrived, just seconds after she herself. Still panting, she pushed herself away from the tree and spun around to face the young Uchiha, her pigtails swaying at her swift movement. She was smiling, but did look a little disappointed upon looking around to realize no one else had arrived yet.
Looks like it still just the two of us, but that’s perfect! Kinda gives us a head-start!” She chimed, giggling playfully as she moved to stand beside her teammate, not phased by how much taller than her he was - she was kind of used to being shorter than most people in her life.
Let’s start with some upper-body stretches, ‘kay?” After all, it had been his chest and arms that looked as though they were spasming back there. She didn’t want to make him self conscious by pointing it out - she merely hoped to alleviate his discomfort! “So! We’ll start with the Arm Cross Stretch! It’ll stretch our back muscles; Primarily the posterior deltoids!” Stretching her arms across her chest, her right arm over her left, her hands pushing back flexibly over her shoulder and curving behind her back a bit to really stretch her muscles as much as possible.
She continued through an array of stretching, not so much as guiding Tomoki as merely stretching alongside him, as these were stretches they both had done in the academy. She simply took point, so they’d both be on the same page as to which stretch they were about to do. It was certainly a meaningful and practical way to burn time while they awaited the arrival of the others! She wanted to make small talk as they stretched, to get to know Tomoki maybe a little better, but small talk wasn’t her strength… talk in general wasn’t her strength. So instead she stretched, awaiting the arrival of the rest of their team with Tomoki, grateful for any banter he decided to throw out there in place of her likely awkward silence.

"It sure does Eiko." He said, agreeing with her on the matter of just them two being there and being able to get a head start. Once he heard the words, Arm Cross Stretch, he immediately remembered learning the particular stretch at the Academy. He stretched his eft arm across his chest then with his right hand, grasped the back part of his left upper arm (just above the elbow) and used his right arm to slightly pull the left arm across his body, keeping his left elbow bent as he pulled across his body.

Just like his teammate, Tomoki did various different kinds of stretches. He was actually glad they it turned out like this and they were stretching. Now they wouldn't have to worry about getting cramps or anything of the sort while training or doing something active. And hey, this was alone time with Eiko. Great right? Since things were pretty quiet and Tomoki wanted to know more about Eiko, he decided to speak up in an attempt to start a conversation. "What's your favorite stretch?"

Reiji was just minding his own business in the village..... That was until Tomoki and Eiko whizzed right past him making him drop his bucket of water "Hey!" he shouted at them, but they were too far away for them to hear. I wonder what they're doing? he thought to himself. quickly ran to his house and put the bucket on the floor and ran out. He started running through the village moving out of the way when there was a house or some other obstacle. "Hey guys!" he shouted as he neared them. They were doing stretches "Could I join you?" he asked and walked closer to them "Eh, Why should I ask, I shouldn't have to!" he said as he did the arm cross stretch just as Tomoki was "So, how's it been going?"

As he made his way into the 10th Training Grounds, Mu was still wondering as to the identity of the third genin that was placed under his watch. Though he had the reports regarding Eiko Arai, the medic-nin in training and Tomoki Uchiha, the goofy child from the clan of elitists, his third member was a mystery that he would soon come to know. After walking past a river that snaked around this particular training field, the jonīn eye's laid upon the site of his three genin stretching. The leader in this little bout of exercise appeared to be the girl with pig-tails wrapped together with little ribbons, whom Mu assumed was the Eiko. The dark-haired individual who seemed to wish to cosy up the young girl was obviously the affable Tomoki. And the third individual seemed to be a little strange to the other two but after glancing at the those pale eyes adorned by signature dark hair on the top of his head, the young man noticed that this particular student of his belonged to the Hyūga clan. So, it seems that I have two genin from two of the noble clans of Konoha, Mu remarked inwardly as he slowly advanced upon his troop of genin, Though if they think that because of their lineage that they are superior to any other genin is something I will crush immediately. Though he did not outwardly show, Mu very much disliked the idea that some people were born to be superior shinobi simply as a result of the blood that ran in their veins. It was something that initially unnerved him about his once-upon-a-time rival Tatsuo and was something that was reinforced during the early days of their relationship. Mei, the other member of their rather dysfunctional team, though being a member of the infamous Sarutobi clan, often mediated between the two of them and put them the both of them in their place should they say or do something rather hurtful. It was only until a few years later after they the three of them had become chūnin, where Tatsuo and himself had one of their customary shinobi Kumite bouts that Tatsuo said 'It's not the clan that you come from that makes you a better shinobi, it's all about protecting the ones you love and bearing those burdens that only you can bear.' And that lesson was something he was going to instil in these genin should they feel themselves superior to anyone by virtue of the circumstances that they were born into.

"Good afternoon to you all," Mu announced, walking steadily over to the three genin under his tutelage, "It's a pleasure to meet you all. My name is Musū Kyōzō and I will be your Jonīn Instructor for the foreseeable future. As I can imagine, you probably have many questions that you wish to ask me but first of all, I have to give the three of you something." Reaching inside his pouch, the young man pulled out three pieces of paper and handed them out accordingly to his students, before turning to speak again. "These," he said, holding up two similar pieces of paper in both of his hands, "are Chakra Induction Papers; these deal in determining what your Nature Transformation is. Your Nature Transformation, is an advanced form of chakra control that entails the moulding and defining of one's individual chakra. The other thing necessary needed to create or modify a technique is shape transformation, but we'll leave that for another day. Typically, a person will exhibit an affinity towards one nature transformation and when you progress towards the level of a jonīn, you'll be able to use two. As for myself I can use Water Release and Earth Release." As soon as he finished his statement, the chakra induction paper in left hand turned to dirt and will crumble away whilst the one in his right hand became damp and wet. Putting away the individual papers, he looked back upon his students with a look of expectation upon his face, remembering the instance where we learned that he was attuned towards Water Release. It was that feeling of wonder that has helped him in his daily off-time to try and engineer new techniques that better help his own fighting style as well as outside of that speciality. "Now, some people and clans have an affinity towards certain nature transformation, like the Uchiha clan with Fire Release so once your piece of paper is affected, I'll let you know what that entails."

Reiji as his instructor studied the group "Hey there!" he said, and immediately stop stretching. He walked toward his Instructor "I'm Reiji Hyuga, and I'm gonna be the best here, no matter what!" he said pointing a thumb at himself "What's your name?" he asked as he studied him. He seemed very serious. He hasn't seen this guy before, but that doesn't mean that he isn't strong. In fact, he's probably one of the strongest, he thought to himself. He watched as he gave the other two a paper and he smiled when he received his "Chakra Induction Papers, huh!" he exclaimed "I always wanted to know what my Chakra Nature is!" he said with a big smile "Now I get to find out!" he told the Jonin. He looked down at his paper and a bunch of yellow sparks were dancing across it "Hey, my paper's doing something!" he shouted. This was gonna be it, he was finally gonna figure it out. "It's doing a sparkly thing!"

Favorite stretch? Eiko contemplated Tomoki’s question, faltering in the stretch they were currently doing to think it over. She really didn’t have a favorite stretch… It was kind of an odd thing to have a favorite of, but she could appreciate his enthusiasm for the subject! Before she could really focus too much on the topic, though, a voice from behind caught her off guard, causing her to spin around and stare at the newcomer to their stretch session. She immediately recognized him as Reiji Hyuga, another boy from their class, and while she was obviously happy that another of their teammates had finally arrived, she was admittedly a little intimidated by just who it was. Reiji, like Tomoki, was very social and confident; Two things that Eiko lacked. She was certain she could get along with them both, but would they but heads? They were pretty similar, which in a way was worrisome… but she opted not to think about that and instead offered the boy a small, but welcoming, little smile, waving him on over.
S-Sure thing- She began to invite him, only to be cut off when he so bluntly pointed out that he shouldn’t have to ask. Immediately, she flustered a little, withdrawing with a simple nod. He was definitely right, so she felt a little silly for speaking at all when it didn’t matter what she said. This made her hesitant to answer his question when he asked how it was going, afraid that he’d just interrupt again with something like ‘It doesn’t matter!’ or something similar.
Luckily, before she could potentially make herself feel any more unsure of herself, the final member to their team arrived; Their teacher. Relieved that Reiji’s attention immediately shifted to the man, Eiko pulled at her sleeves nervously and watched the transaction unfold, managing a small ‘Good afternoon,’ right back at him as to not appear rude. Musu Kyozo… she smiled a little to herself. She wasn’t familiar with his name, so he must have been new to his role of teaching genin, she decided. As he spoke, she tried to deduct as much about him as she could based on his appearance alone. The only thing that really stood out to her though was the harness strapped to his shoulder, and even then, there was no way of knowing what that was for exactly.
Reiji, was eager as ever, was the first to approach their sensei and introduce himself, brazenly proclaiming that he was going to be the ‘best’ of them all. Was that really something he should be aiming for - to be better than his teammates? It was off-putting, and made it feel as though there was a invisible wall between herself and him already. Like he already saw himself as being better than both herself and Tomoki. Ignoring the statement as best she could for the time being, though, she nervously accepted her own slip of paper, her heart suddenly picking up its pace. She had never really considered her chakra nature before. She didn’t think it mattered for her, and yet, not that she held the paper in her grasp, she was admittedly pretty excited - and impressed by the way their sensei’s own paper revealed his own chakra natures.
Eager, she looked to the paper in her grasp, eyes widening as it suddenly crinkled inward, as if all the moisture had suddenly been sucked out of it, leaving it withered. Looking over to Reiji, as he was being rather… outgoing… about whatever his paper was doing, she noticed his had wrinkled up as well, causing her eyes to light up.
Reiji, we both have lightning nature..!” She blurted, more excited about that fact than she thought she would have been. She wasn’t sure what this meant for her, but knowing she had the potential to creating lightning? It made her feel a little badass, to be honest! Proud of herself, she smiled modestly and clutched onto her little paper with a peaceful little ‘hum’, wiggling with excitement where she stood before peeking curiously over at Tomoki to see what his nature was.

Tomoki heard a familiar voice. A voice he heard back in the academy. If he remembered correctly, it sounded like Reiji. Reiji Hyuga. And soon after he would come to find out his guess was right. "Oh hey Reiji." He said as the Hyuga greeted them and walked over to stretch with them. Although his alone time with Eiko ended, he didn't have a problem with this. It was good for all of them to stretch. "It's going good. I'm excited." The Uchiha said to answer Reji's question.

Shortly after Reiji's arrival, Tomoki could hear footsteps coming from behind them. He immediately turned to see it was his Sensei. But before he could say anything, he had introduced himself and given them Chakra Induction Papers and Tomoki stared at his as their Sensei explained and demonstrated to them what it was. Tomoki thought it was interesting how one of their sensei's papers crumbled and the other became wet and damp.

Tomoki tried to hold in a laugh at Reiji's words to their Sensei. He was going to be the best one there. Pfft! Please. Then looking over at Reiji, he saw yellow sparks appearing here and there on his paper. Suddenly, he heard Eiko mention she and Reiji had the same Chakra nature. And he turned to see her paper wrinkling up like Reiji's. "Oooh!" He was generally interested in this and looked at his own paper.

His paper had a little flame at the bottom left corner which gradually got bigger and eventually covered the entire paper before ceasing and exposing the now black, burnt, paper. Fire, huh? He expected this and wasn't surprised. Almost all Uchiha have a natural affinity towards the Fire Nature. But he wasn't going to complain since he enjoyed watching the paper burn. He found it oddly satisfying.

SHINOBI KUMITE
Mu vs. Tomoki, Reiji and Eiko
It was always a special moment when you find out your Nature Transformation for the first time; this statement was self-evident by the ecstatic expressions of Eiko and Reiji as they realised that they both possessed Lightning Release whilst Tomoki exhibited the usual Uchiha affinity for Fire Release. Quite offensive in nature, with Lightning Release being used in conjunction with taijutsu, Mu noted as his student's discussed among themselves the various possibilities that could result from their uncovering, whilst Fire Release is always deadly, especially when utilised by an Uchiha. Though it was important to realise one's particular affinity soon, the main reason for their meeting here was the jonīn's task in seeing whether they were qualified to become genin. Placing his hand upon his lips as a means of trying to quieten down the genin, with the expected results being garnered, Mu began to explain the exercise to them before they began. "Now that you have learned of your Nature Transformation, we will turn to the task at hand," the jonīn spoke, positioning himself directly in front of his students, "And that is to test whether you are worthy of the rank of genin. Do not hold back and show me what you are capable of, as a team." Raising his right hand as slowly morphed it into the familiar Seal of Confrontation, with Reiji and Tomoki immediately forming the seal with Eiko tentatively reciprocating the gesture with a determined look forming onto her face.

"Hey guys," Eiko muttered towards her comrades-in-arms, walking up behind them, "I think we should discuss our formation before we enga-!" The young medic-nin was interrupted by a loud 'BEGIN!' from their sensei as he quickly lowered his seal and prepared himself for the barrage. Tomoki and Reiji both dashed at their sensei leaving Eiko visibly disgruntled by their lack of foresight and weight given to planning. Realising that her two impatient colleagues would no doubt need treatment, Eiko retreated backwards for a few moments before summoning a variety of medical supplies such as bandages, healing ointments amongst a variety of other items. Senbon also appeared amongst the items at her disposal; though often used for medical purposes if practised enough they can just as deadly as any kunai or shuriken. This had the young kunoichi thinking as to the possibility of her implementing the use of senbon and her newly-found Lightning Release as a means to disrupt the nervous system by delivering small but effective electric shocks through the medium of the senbon. Also, given the fact that she was one the same team as a member of the Hyūga clan, she could possibly glean more information about tenketsu. She noted that for later as she watched as her more vivacious teammates engaged their sensei in taijutsu, though it didn't seem to be going well from her point of view. Though they were attacking in tandem, they seemed more likely to hit each other then Mu as the jonīn easily weaved in-and-out of their attacks. She was about to send out a rallying call before a kunai suddenly whizzed past her, almost nicking her cheek as it lodged in the tree behind her. Feeling relieved at the fact that she had evaded the weapon, that relief was short-lived as suddenly Mu-sensei was right above her aiming to drive a kunai down through her skull. She quickly grabbed a nearby senbon that blocked the attack for the moment for a moment before the urgent situation she had found herself in came to the attention of her teammates.

"Dammit," Tomoki growled, glancing back and forth between the predicaments the genin were in, "When did he?! Nevermind, Reiji, go help her out while I make a distraction!"

"You couldn't have asked a better person, I'm the strongest here after all!" the young Hyūga boasted before darting over to Eiko, activating his Byakugan in the process. The once previously indistinct pupils became more noticeable as the veins around the young man's temples bulged, being able to distinguish the various tenketsu or chakra points point around the body. It was something that struck him as unusual when he glanced between the chakra flowing between the body of Eiko and impostor Mu. The chakra flowing in the latter's body seemed rather weak, even compared to his own or Tomoki or Eiko, surprisingly so. As he adopted the Gentle Fist stance, aiming to deliver a Tenketsu Needle, the doppelganger avoided the attack, releasing his stalemate with Eiko as he dashed away a few paces. Tomoki, having seen that his Reiji had arrived in time, welded the necessary seals resulting in tiger. Kneading the chakra, the young man thought 'Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!' before releasing a titanic, spiralling inferno headed directly in Mu's direction. Though noting that the Great Fireball Technique was something of a right of passage for every Uchiha, it astounded him just as much as it did when his teammate Tatsuo utilised it for the first time. As it seemed that the outlines of his personage were caught in the inferno, Tomoki retreated backwards to join his comrades in their own miniature bout against Mu's impersonator. Reaching his comrades, the three huddled in a formation where Tomoki and Reiji stood in front of Eiko while she treated them and applied some bandages to some blows that were dealt to the two boys, with Tomoki attempting to act suave and Reiji nearly denying the bandage before relenting.

That peace was interrupted by the ground beneath them cracking open with Mu erupted from the crevice, striking Eiko with a resolute uppercut that rattled the young medic-nin, sending her flying backwards. Before the two boys of the group could even react, another kunai was launched towards the ground in between them as the jonīn positioned himself in mid-air. As before, another Mu impostor erupted from the strange seal adorning the hilt of the weapon, striking Reiji against the tree whilst the other charged at Tomoki, sending him spiralling backwards. "Water Clones that I've sealed inside my various kunai, a slight innovation on my part," Mu explained, dangling one in front of the three genin as a way to exemplify the seal adorning it. The two boys struggled as the Water Clones positioned them in hammerlocks on the ground whilst Mu grabbed Eiko by one of her pigtails, positioning one of the ornate kunai against her neck. "In a real fight, you would have lost the most important member of your team, one that would keep you two from dying due to your recklessness," he uttered, glancing back at the Uchiha and the Hyūga with a slight look of disappointment, "And you, yourself Eiko have put yourself into this situation by deliberately neglecting the taijutsu aspect of the shinobi arts. You can't only remain focused on medical ninjutsu since if you do, you'll only remain a burden to Reiji and Tomoki."

Tomoki was annoyed by the statement, not because he disagreed with what his sensei said but because deep down, he realised that it was true. It was his impatient drive to prove himself that allowed Eiko to be singled out in the first place. The same sentiment railed inside of Reiji as well, irritated by the predicament that he allowed himself and his team to enter into. How could he become the strongest in Konoha if he couldn't help either of his teammates? He cracked his fist against the ground in a show of anger which his opposite number seemed to agree, struggling against the Water Clone's grip though to no avail. Watching her comrades struggle as they lay flat against the ground defeated, Eiko felt a tear slide down her cheeks, her demure nature threatening to overtake at this moment. No, I can't do that to them, she wailed inwardly, confidence in herself flowing through her veins, not when they're trying to do their best as well! At that moment, Reiji released all the chakra from the tenketsu in his wrist, removing the Clone's hold on him. Twisting into a more practical position, Reiji strikes the impersonator into the Clone holding Tomoki against the ground, whereby being freed from restraint, the Uchiha quickly forms seals and exhales a massive, spiralling orb of fire towards the Clones and thusly evaporates them. Distracted for a brief moment, Eiko strikes downwards on Mu's wrist her elbow, dislodging the implement from her sensei's hand. Grabbing it, she throws the blade at him as he instinctively dodges. She positions herself into an armbar hold along his arm before using his chest as a springboard to jump backwards towards her comrades.

"WE WON'T LOSE HERE!" the three genin roar in unison, standing together in a straight line as a team of equals.

Smirking, Mu jumps backwards towards the river that skirted the patch of land that their battle had been waged on. "Very interesting...Eiko, Tomoki and Reiji but I'm afraid," Mu said menacingly, engaging in a flurry of seal forming, "this is the end of the line." As the final seal was formed, a wave of Killing Intent was released from the jonīn, paralysing the young genin with fear as the man readied his technique. Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet, Mu thought as a serpentine being composed entirely of water erupted from the river, red eyes being formed over the dragon as it crashed into the ground where he delved underground. "This is something of an experimental technique so brace yourselves," he explained as the water dragon emerged from the hole in the ground, absorbing the dirt and mud underground, "Earth Release: Mud Dragon Bullet!" The dragon reared above the young genin before crashing into them with thunderous force, knocking them all back a few dozen feet. The muffled voices of his students gurgled through the mud that ensconced them all firmly against the ground. The force of the impact reverberated throughout the young genin's bodies, a sensation that they would soon never forget. As the looming footsteps of their sensei approached as their ears were rattling still with the force of the technique. Looking up, Tomoki and Reiji noticed two outstretched hands that hauled them to their feet before offering the same to Eiko, bringing her to a stading position with ease.

"Shinobi Kumite is over; well done young genin, you've passed the test. Welcome to Team Musū!"

The monotonous sound of an alarm reverberated around the room of the young Shimura, the frazzled hair of Renzo sprawled about upon his pillow as though it were a mop. Why the hell do I have it so early? the young wondered to himself, yawning obnoxiously-loud before hefting himself from his sleeping position to one where he was sitting at the side of his bed. Struggling to gather his thoughts at why his past self deigned to set the alarm for that time, the much sought-after memory gripped his mind once again. "TODAY IS THE DAY I MEET MY TEAMMATES!" the young exclaimed with an odd mix of elation and trepidation as he quickly went about getting changed into his uniform for the day. Quickly placing his dark-grey t-shirt over his head alongside putting on his pants, wrapping tape around the shins and wiggling his feet into his sandals. Having finished getting himself looking spick-and-span for the day, the young Shimura walked over to a mirror that hung above a rarely-used desk. Turning around to see the clan symbol on the back of the t-shirt, Renzo grinned as pride swelled up within him at the sight of the familiar crest. Fitting his pouch to the back of his pants whilst placing the shuriken holster around his right leg. The young man dusted himself as though to say 'All set' and promptly walked out of his bedroom, slamming the door with a hint of over-zealousness.

As he descended the stairs, the young took in the familiar site of the kitchen and dining areas being devoid of human presence, since his mother Hisako would often be out collecting flowers as well as purchasing ingredients for that evening's dinner, his father Ryuichi dealing with whatever missions were assigned to him. There was just one person that he didn't care for all too much to so much as wonder if she were in the vicinity and that was his sister Ayuri. Sliding open and closing the door within one motion whilst muttering a quiet 'I'm heading out', Renzo dashed away to the meeting place for his teammates later that day. As he exited the Shimura Clan residential area, the young man spotted Danzō Shimura, a decorated and famous member of the clan who won prestige during the early days of the war as a part of the Escort Unit alongside Team Tobirama. The young genin bowed as he passed while the older man acknowledged and that was enough for Renzo. Wow, what are the odds of me meeting a shinobi like that, the young man wondered himself as he wheeled away into the village at large, one of the infamous heroes of the Plains of Tesutosaiken. Freeing his mind of reminiscing thoughts, the young man dashed through the village wherein he nearly bumped and crashed into numerous people along the way with a wanton lack of 'Sorry!' or 'Excuse me!' from the young man. As he reached the meeting the place atop the Academy, he noticed a member of his team had already arrived. Kenji Uchiha, the young man noted before approaching the kunai-twirling youth whose attention was turned towards the young Shimura. Renzo wasn't the most literate or adaptable when it came to talking so as he pondered what words to speak, the young man's face began to fluster as he stuttered more and more. Finally, words of some kind welled up within him as he addressed the Uchiha.

"Just because I'm on the same team as the Son of the Flame and Daughter of the Second Hokage, don't think I'm going to lose to either of you!" the young exclaimed whilst pointing a finger at his new comrade.

Arashi Shirogane
The remarkably loud ringing of an alarm quickly filled Arashi's room early in the morning - at least for his not so adequate standards of early - quickly triggering the then still sleeping Jounin into getting up - after a couple minutes of indistinct mumbling, that is - to turn it off with a well-positioned kick that most certainly earned him the need to buy yet another alarm, somehow souring his already sour mood even more. He didn't go further with his tantrum throwing, merely grumbling a bit more about stupid Jonin responsibilities as he went to the bathroom to proceed with his matinal grooming, seemingly caring enough about his meeting with his first genin team to actually tidy himself to a barely acceptable extent that was already more than impressive when compared to his usually remarkably untidy self.

By the time he finally finished fixing his appearance and putting his shinobi garbs, that was greatly delayed by the fact that he kept feeling asleep after every few seconds of actively trying to tidy himself, he directly went out of his studio apartment through the window - habit he developed after losing his key for the fifth time and giving up on using one - jumping towards the roof of a neighbouring house and quietly leaping through the adjacent roofs as he made his way towards the meeting area while musing about his newfound responsibilities. A team of Genin, huh? I wonder who was the idiot who thought that putting them under me was a good idea. He mused. In the end, while he was indeed a qualified shinobi with quite a few missions in his belt, he was far from being one of the Jounins appreciated by the higher-ups due to his history of insubordination and utter lack of proactivity, making the whole decision to put him in charge of a Genin team somehow unexpected - and most certainly unappreciated, considering how hard he tried to not be given any troublesome task. Naturally, he didn't think that much before achieving the conclusion that it was most certainly a way the Hokage found to test him - an especially risky one while that, considering that the daughter of the second Hokage was included into his team.

By the time he finally arrived at the outskirts of the academy he already had long since decided to stop putting much thought into it since he ultimately concluded he wouldn't manage to guess the Hokage's intentions either way, deciding to put his mind into evaluating his Genin team instead. Being the unconventional bastard person he was, the decision he reached by the end was naturally far from being a nice one, as he decided to directly hide his presence and stealthily approach the now completely united team, that naturally got there much earlier than their ever so lazy sensei, and, at the moment other Jonin would be using to teach their students about their elemental nature and similar things, directly released a part of his killing intent towards the young shinobi and threw some of his kunai towards random spots near them, clearly meaning to pressure the Genin into thinking they were being attacked. After all, since they randomly decided that he should teach something to these kids he could as well have some fun testing them first.

Hana Senju
Hana’s head snapped as she turned to look at the next person to arrive at the meeting place. Her eyes ran up and down his figure while her mind tried to recall his name and whatever information she might know about the boy. The warm rays of the sun enveloped her body, she quickly looked up to see the clouds parted and rays of light touching the village. “Uchiha. Kenji Uchiha.” Hana’s eyes went back to her teammate, her mind now full of all the possible reasons as to why the two of them were teamed up. She wasn’t against the decision of course, it was her father who had issues with the Uchiha, but that made her see this as a chance to form a bond between the two clans again. Her uncle had befriended one of them and in the years that followed they created Konohagakure. Hana put on a bright smile and waved at him. “Good morning.” She exclaimed in a happy tone.

Before she could actually engage in conversation however, another genin showed up to the meeting place. This one she knew was Renzo Shimura. Before she could properly greet him though, he declared himself their equal, something that Hana never would have thought was necessary. “Uh...hi, nice to meet both of you.” She waved at the two boys with a somewhat confused expression on her face. This time could end up being a lot more than she bargained for.

“My name is....” Suddenly she’s felt a chill go down her spine, an ominous feeling in the air, and then the sound of kunai landing around the tea,pm. “What the heck?” Hana quickly turned on her heels, head pivoting and looking in every direction. “Did you guys see anything?” She wouldn’t let anyone know, but right now her heart was racing in her chest and she’s was more than just a little nervous.

Renzo didn't know what to think about his teammates; given their lineage and whom there respective parents were, especially in the case of Hana, a certain feeling of inferiority threatened to overtake the young genin but his innate stubbornness tempered that worrisome emotion. Despite that, the young Shimura wondered as to their prowess with Nature Transformation and if they could perform advanced techniques already. I can imagine Kenji knowing the Great Fireball Technique already given it's practically a right-of-passage for the Uchiha, Renzo deducted, adopting an inquisitive stance to match his inward musing, plus I'd say Hana can perform the Water Dragon Bullet with only FOURTHY-THREE seals. In contrast to the founding clans of Konohagakure, the Shimura clan seemed rather underwhelming in regards to the Uchiha and the Senju. Though they joined the village at around the same time as the Sarutobi clan, there were very few shinobi that came from the Shimura clan that stood out in comparison to the talented shinobi from the founding clans. From what he could recall from reading the chronicles of the Shimura clan, Renzo noted that there were around four of five noteworthy shinobi that came from his clan, with his grandfather on his maternal side bearing his namesake being one amongst that esteemed group. If given chance, the young genin would lodge himself in that category and bring honour to the Shimura and peace to Konoha.

Just as the young man was about to detail this ambition to his colleagues, paralysis overtook the young man as it did his teammates right beside him. The young genin had no idea as to where the effect emanated from, and his confusion was only further amplified by the striking of kunai against the surface beneath them at random points. An enemy ninja?! Renzo thought to himself frantically, his eyes darting in a haphazard manner to identify the person behind the attack. If there were an enemy combatant attacking them here of all places, right above the Hokage's office, he'd either have to be incredibly stupid or incredibly brave. Needless to say, the young genin felt it would be best to try and bring the assailant to an area a little less populated. Plus, it would look bad for his character if he were defeated in the plain of the villagers but also Lord Second. Feeling the effects of the paralysis wither and dissipate from every fibre of his body, the young man gathered as much as the kunai that he could, placing the implements in his shuriken holster on his right leg. "Guys, we have to try and move the attacker to a more isolated position, somewhere like the training fields," Renzo said to his teammates, leaping onto the barrier at the edge of the roof, "That way we can give it all we got and nobody has to see look like fools should we be defeated!" Having informed them of his plan, the young Shimura leaped from the barrier to the ground below, just in front of the entrance to the building. He then took off with as much speed as he could muster towards the entrance to the village. What a tale he could regale to his sensei should he survive this encounter!

Kenji Uchiha
"Son of the Flame"

Kenji slowly looked up at the sudden announcement by his teammate, the Uchiha not even stopping the twirling of his kunai, saying in a deadpanned tone, "Huh? Did ya say something?" His gaze then turned to the Senju girl his demeanor completely changed. He nearly threw the kunai aside, his posture going from slouched and relaxed to straight and uptight in mere seconds. He bowed, saying, "It's a pleasure to be in your presence. I hope that our team ensures peace between our clan, Hana." He was just straightening back up when he suddenly couldn't move, his mind racing as he panicked. The kunai didn't help either. He performed a backflip the second the paralysis was gone, looking around frantically as he yelled, "What the Hell? What was that? Who would attack us here?" He drew his kunai, nodding at Renzo as he said, "I agree. Someone might get hurt here. Well, besides us. Plus I don't want Lord Second seeing an Uchiha fighting in front of his office on his first day." He wasn't using his Sharingan, as that was a last resort due to the high amount of chakra it used, and he wanted to show off his real power, without the Sharingan.

Arashi Shirogane
Arashi couldn't help but chuckle once he saw the genin frantically running like helpless chicks once he started playing around, going as far as actually throwing some extra shuriken as they tried to regroup to plan something. Truth to be told, he was already quite satisfied by the fact that besides the sole female of the group no one actually froze when he threw the tools, using the moment after his killing intent faded to run away instead - a decision that he could approve, though he was somehow disappointed by the fact that they actually thought an enemy could sneak that deeply into the village, failing to realize how utterly impossible it was for an enemy ninja to cause a ruckus near the Hokage's office.

With that being said, he couldn't help but be impressed by the quick thinking of the Shimura boy, that immediately tried to levy the others to find a place where they could fight back - almost a smart decision, shouldn't his next sentence ruin it and it seemed he cared more about the embarrassment than the safety of civilians or anything of the like. All being considered, Arashi still had to admit they did a better job than he thought when reacting to his small play. In fact, their reaction was so satisfactory that he actually felt like playing with them for a while longer.

Once decided, Arashi naturally didn't hesitate to occasionally make them feel threatened again as they ran towards the training field, making sure to keep their tension up in the way to the more adequate area by occasionally throwing Kunai that missed them by a hair's breadth as he chased them all the way to the training area. It was only when they actually entered the training area that he actually revealed himself, chasing them to the center of the nearest training area by using the transformation technique to assume the appearance of what seemed to be a criminal ninja dressed in garbs traditional to the hidden sand, even taking care to project the image of a fake headband with a risk on it.

Now let's see how they handle this.
