The village hidden in the leaves. The third hokage taking the fourths place after a tailed beast attacked the land of fire thirteen years ago. Unknown to most in The village... the fourth hokage did not slay the beast, he had to seal it away in a new born child born to one of the leaf's notable clans.
Of course the five nations all had problems similar, most coming to the same conclusion of sealing the beast made of chakra into a host. Some did it to protect their home, some desired power and saw the strength of the tailed beasts to be unmatched. Thus the Jinchūriki war was beginning to be set in motion.

Our story begins after the genin of the hidden leaf have graduated. Four teams formed out of thirty potential genin.

Team one led by A female jonin named Ginko fahara
Those following Ginko are...
Tafu chikara,
Neji kagume, Timv9 Timv9
Lunae lunaekyo. SomebodyElse SomebodyElse

Team two led by another female jonin, Ami Arlette Amyleii Amyleii
Those following Ami are...
Ongaku hashi,
Heiko Hyuga, L3n L3n
Fumiko Hari. Nayakri Nayakri

Team three led by Jin saiki is...
Fai ling, Amyleii Amyleii
Hideki rinha L3n L3n
Shin kazore SomebodyElse SomebodyElse

Team four are Npcs who will most likely be named later when needed.

These four teams of students had just learned their places had been secured, Iruka (their previous home room teacher) dismissed all from the class to wait outside for their new leaders.

They all headed outside and awaited their jonin leaders to arrive. To give the first orders, or missions, anything really. These genin are finally out of the classroom and able to use their talent and skills to help the village! Team four immediately grouped together and left with kakashi sensei.
Which was odd because that man was notorious for being late, either way many genin felt disappointed that they didn't have a legend teaching them.

Tafu though, he was excited to show off his skill. Not to say he wasnt somewhat confused at why he and Neji are apart of the same team, and that lunae girl... tafu had seen her handle a scythe as he did. Maybe iruka sensei thought the three were suited together. Tafu took the time to wave at those who failed. "better luck next time Mizu... tough luck kii-yu."
Some students gave mean faces, others returned the wave. Tafu smiled the entire time, he made it, he was on the way to proving he mattered. Turning around to spot one of his new team-mates, Tafu approached him... "you ever think we would be on the same squad? Kinda bummed I'm not with my mate gaku"
Tafu stood proud with his scythe on his back, his face sporting his usual goofy smirk and bright alert blue eyes.
(The black lines from his eyes down is not makeup or war paint, he just has them aha)

Ongaku's one eye gazed at the thinning class, his squad mates both being girls put a slight smile on his stoic face. He'd much rather be with his one friend Tafu, but a break from his loud personality and speech was always welcome plus the girls are better to look at then that dopes smile. The branch clan hyuga girl and that taijutsu specialist from the Hari clan. Fitting he would get such help... Ongaku's fingers strum his stringed instrument lightly, (giving all waiting that iconic slow song from the anime)
He wasn't one to socialise, preferring those to give him money or food for his brilliant skill at playing the instrument. Jin Saiki is just one of the jonin who have busted Ongaku for using genjutsu in the village. He didn't even need the illusion that his music was beautiful, Ongaku just enjoys fucking with folk.

Ginko was running late, as was Jin. Rumours were sure to be spread...

Fei Ling

The girl stamped her foot and had her arms folded. "stupid Jin.....even as an adult he's late." she said under her breath. She had been excited and a little afraid when she found out the village elders had decided she would be training with the new batch of genin, since she had only just started her own training about 15 days ago...+20 years. excited because she would get to continue her training as a ninja. afraid because it turns out her new team leader was none other then one of her team mates from the past. "how did this happen" she thought as she thought back to two days ago.

it all started pretty normal. her, Jin and Ami where all fresh genin, they had been sent to investigate something outside the gates. it should have been a routine investigation mission, but ofcourse it all went downhill fast. Fei went far ahead of the team, her team leader shouting for her to return to the group. She stuck her tongue out and sped forward, using her chackra platforms to traverse much faster then her team. she lands in a clearing with the trespasser sitting looking away. reading some sort of scroll. "hey, loser, pack up and go, the leaf village isn't interested in...hey, wait a..." she started to tell the guy to get lost when she realized what he was reading, his hand movements where enough for her to recognize that this was a ninjutsu scroll, and her family had one with a similar designation stamp on it, one she had asked about as a child and recognized. it designated when a scroll was a written documentation of an illegal jutsu. for knowledge only, never to be used. "h-hey, you can't..." she looked back, her team wouldn't arrive anytime soon and the guys handsigns where getting faster. she ran at the man and went to kick, the man turned surprised as he finished the final handsign, a large circle of energy appeared between them and Fei fell right in, as it closed up behind her she found herself in the same clearing....only no one else was around. "weird...hey, captain, that guy disappeared." she shouts back towards the forest, sure her team should have caught up by then. no answer. she waits for at least half an hour before running back to the village. as she walks through the village gates she looks around, how fast did that construction go? the village was only just expanding out to this gate. wasn't it? The girl walked around the unfamiliar district in awe at the quick work that was done. most of this was scaffolding when she ran off to start the mission, but somehow some of these buildings even looked old and rusted. "weird." she said as she walked around a corner and a drunken lady almost tramples her.

*hic* "hey watch where...oh...fei...wha? you..." the drunken lady stares at the drink in her hand then back at Fei. she points wildly and then runs off screaming about ghosts from the past. "weirder." Fei starts platforming to the HQ building in the center of the village. she leaps through a window and is immediately surrounded by anbu black ops ninja. they had apparently been watching the building for unrecognized ninjas and her jutsu was something they hadn't seen? I mean, the ling family is small but they are known pretty well for that simple technique. by the end of the day she and the hokage as well as a few other elders realized what must of happened. Fei Ling had jumped through time. it was then decided that as a member of the village she had a right to continue her training and was able to join the latest batch of genin.

Ami Aralette

Ami stumbles over to her new team of children. she turns to give a quick glance at her former team member Fei before shuddering. she smiled at her new team and said "okay...my names Ami Aburami, ya little sh...angels are gonna be trained by me. don't ask about my drinking, it's to cope with the pain, I promise you I am a capipable teacher. I trained for a long time to be fluent even in a dreunken state. don't make me prove it to you." she says to her students. "so, names? do you have them? are they worthy of my great powerful memory or are you gonna be annoying until you quite and move on to other careers?" she said bluntly. it wasn't that she wasn't a pleasent person, it was that years of pain and drinking had made her be as straight forward as they come.

Ongaku gave a short glare at the drunken jonin, why did she wear a eye patch? Is she apart of that insect clan? She mispronounced her own name...
Ongaku briefly imagined buying a eyepatch... But no need to now. The bandages covering his scar was replaced by a metal plate with the leaf symbol on it. Tafu had given him a hard time for 'copying the copy ninja'

Not that it matters. The drunk who was their new squad leader asked for names. Doubt she would recall them correctly anyway, the red haired boy stood up from his crossed legs sitting position to put his shamisen on his back.
"Ongaku is my name." it sounded like a mature young man, his demeanour though was one of a disinterested pre teen. His face remained still as stone, his brown eye looking through the woman like he could see out the back of her head.

------------
Jin and Ginko arrived via rooftops overlooking the class.
Jin had read about all in the class, and was somewhat surprised at some of the students who made it into genin. Ongaku and Shin seemed the most notable, Shin almost like a chunin with his genjutsu, everything else was rather lacking... physical training and taijutsu will be what I focus him on first.
Ongaku was put under Ami though... She was drunk like usual. I'll need to give her some advice on her genin...
that red haired kid seems two misunderstandings from going rogue... also a genjutsu user. Little fool charms money from those walking by...

"hey I got the kagume, the chikara, and the lunaekyo... I think my genin shit on yours"
Ginko chuckled while cleaning her ear with a pinkie.
"hey gimme a smoke, ima wait for my new students to gather together before jumping down..."
Jin tossed a lit ciggerette to the silver haired woman with a sigh, they both puffed away as they watched from a distance. Jin was concerned about his old teammate fei. Was she fitting in? Like Ongaku she's living alone in a apartment the third pays for... is she looking after herself?... at least now I can help her catch up.
Jin looked at his old classmate, still exactly the same... crazy.
Ginko was chuckling to herself as she squatted next to Jin on the roof.
"So you got the pretty boy, the old friend, Annd... a aspiring medical ninja Yea?"
Ginko pointed out Ami, with a stifled laugh
"Seriously how did your friend end up a squad leader? She's staggering already and it's not even lunch time"
"she's stronger then us hand to hand"
"stronger than you maybe..."
Jin just silently sighed a puff of smoke out to avoid a argument again. He was wanting to observe the genin form into their three man squads before arriving. To see how they act when no authority figure is around.

Lunae was happily sucking on a cherry lollipop. Today was the day they'd be put on teams. Just then Iruka announced the teams.
Ooh she was on a team with two boys. This would be so much fun. Neji and Tafu. How interesting. Wondering what they were like she noticed Tafu speaking to some of the other classmates. Well now was her chance She headed over to Tafu to introduce herself.
"Oooh You must be Tafu Chikara. I'm Lunae Lunaekyo. I think I've seen you in the class a few times. You're kinda cute.
This is exciting, you are a scythe user too right? I got one too!" Where do you think Neji is?"

She said twirling her own scythe. To be quite honest he seemed interesting. Would Neji be interesting too?
Surely Neji would be joining them soon. The three of them would then meet their Jounin, Ginko. whatever she was like.
She had heard rumors about tests that Jounin gave out to see the teams compatibility. They would likely have to work together so it was probably best they all get to know eachother as soon as possible.
"So how about you tell me something about yourself and I'll tell you something about myself."

So he'd been assigned a team. He'd find his way to his teammates.
He had actually been sketching. It was of one of the bunnies he had in his backyard. He had to get this perfect. If it wasn't exactly how he envisioned it, well he'd just have to scrap it and start over. He wasn't a stranger to do-overs. It was his own obsession to get things right. He'd draw the extra line.
Now to texture the fur. One had to this part delicately. He would show the world his art. It would take over the world. He'd do anything to strive for perfection.
Snap.
He broke his pencil. Sigh. Well no matter. He could do it later. He'd just have to find his teammates for now. He could be patient.
He found one. Fei Ling.
"You. You're my teammate."

Fumiko

Before this day
It has been suprising to find a piece of paper inside her pocket - not that it was paper, but because it was there. She didn't remember taking anything with her aside for her needles, newly acquired headband and a small pouch with a bunch of shurikens she received as a gift from Father. Slowly, she opened the paper, immediately recognizing the handwriting of her younger brother, Eiro.

Big sister, it said. Can you go to the library and fetch me the book I wanted? I could do it, but Yusei is having a birthday party and I can't miss it. You always seem to have so much time! I guess it won't be a problem, right? See you!

With annoyance slowly filling her veins, she started folding the paper, as if trying to turn it into some art just to calm herself. Perhaps she could make a paper rat and scare Eiro with it? No, it didn't work. She ended up with a primitive ball that wasn't even round enough seriously to pass for one. With a small sight, she threw it into the bin. Everyone in her family knew that today is a very important day, yet every single member found a way to demand something from her. Fumiko knew well enough why it is important for her to receive Father's documents (if they were already signed by the Hokage), and why Mother's friends should be informed of her absence during an upcoming tea meeting. But nothing will convince that this bunch of rats, officially called 'her siblings', can order her around.

Most likely, she will ignore them. And then suffer their complains for the next week.

Fumiko hugged herself tightly as she listened to Iruka-sensei about the teams and their members. She did it. She was a ninja. A genin. A child, yet approved of their skills. The road before her was still long and a dangerous one, but Fumiko won't give up now. Not when everything is going so well.

Present
Fumiko likes to think that she is good at nap... meditating in the middle of the crowd without caring about the chaos around her, but today she couldn't focus. People around her were buzzling with energy, excitement and, perhaps, some fear. Observing them was far more interesting than getting lost in her thoughts, so she assumed a spot next to Heiko Hyūga, the one of her team. The other one, called Ongaku Hashi, seemed to be mostly interested in his lute - why one even take one here? was it his weapon? - but Fumiko caught him glancing at people around a few times.

Her team. Hyūga and a musician, it would seem. After a brief thinking, she shrugged it off. There is no point in judging how it will look like since she never worked with them properly. First, they need to have a mission or two. Then Fumiko will be able to tell whether they fit into this little group or not.

She's not the one to be scared, though when that strange, drunk woman appeared, Fumiko had her doubts. Though at the first glance, the woman didn't look special, unless you were looking about the other kind of 'special'. But young Hari wasn't fooled that easily. She has seen what her grandma can do - that sweet and kind lady who can tear you limb by limb if you tell a single word she doesn't like. No, there was a reason why she was their sensei. There must have been.

Still, Fumiko couldn't understand how in the world she found out that they are her students if she doesn't even remember their name. Was it a custom for sensei to play dumb in front of children?

"Fumiko Hari," she found herself saying anyway, no need to hide such an obvious information. Well, obvious for her, anyway.

Tafu turned around as he heard his name, not often it's said in the same group of words Like... 'oooh' 'you're kinda cute'
'where do you think Neji is?'
Tafu had a nervous smile and a tiny bit of red form in his cheeks at the compliment before he laughed out loud like he was told a joke, "bah-hahahahahaha"
The blade of his scythe sticking over his shoulder covered Nejis face. This lunae girl was either messing with Neji or she couldnt see him from how tafu stood. fun,
Timv9 Timv9

"Heyo Luna, ay I've seen you with that.."
Giving a brief point at the girls heirloom before withdrawing his finger quickly.
wow she's gonna twirl that near a crowd?
"Hey you know what? You might be better off with some chained together sickles you know"
Tafu took a step to the side letting Neji be apart of the group and to make sure he wasn't in the way of a twirling scythe in a young girls hands
"uncle yo can make anything, if I said it was for a girl on my team he'd give a discount"
SomebodyElse SomebodyElse

The young boys face grew a sly smirk as he imagined asking for shit, if tsuyo assumed tafu had a girlfriend to impress... he'd cut some slack making him work and pay. More money for food is always a goal.

"Team one will be comprised of Neji Kagume, Lunae Lunaekyo, and Tafu Chikara." That was the team that Iruka sensei had given him. Neji stopped listening to him as he continued to announce the other teams. Neji and Tafu had been rivals since they were young, both coming from great clans in the village, though Tafu's clan has continued to be a big influence in the village while Neji's clan has faltered a little bit. Neji bit his bottom lip for a moment as he thought about being in a squad with Tafu, he and Neji didn't have the greatest relationship. Then there was Lunae, to him all she was, was well kind of annoying. He never saw her work that hard during their time at the academy, she seemed more interested in talking, flirting and messing with boys then doing training. He sighed, this could be an interesting team. He figured he might have to do a lot of the heavy lifting but who knew. Neji would make his way outside with the rest of the students, some of them being lucky enough to pass and be put into squads, while others had failed and were asked to try again next semester. Neji looked around and thats when he saw Tafu saying better luck next time to some of the kids who failed, he had that dumb smile plastered all over his face and some of the kids looked like they wanted to knock him out. Neji wouldn't blame him and if they decided too, Neji wouldn't step in to help his new teammate, honestly not like he would need the help anyway. Neji couldn't deny that Tafu had skills.

"you ever think we would be on the same squad? Kinda bummed I'm not with my mate gaku" Neji would turn his head and saw that Tafu had made his way over to him, again with that big goofy smile on his face. "Yeah well, just try and not get in my way too much yeah? Neji smirked as he stood there and they would wait for their sensei and other squad member to get there. Thats when Lunae would show up causing Tafu to turn around almost hitting Neji with his scythe. Neji ducked his head to dodge the scythe and then backed up a step. Neji was about to say something to him, but thats when Lunae asked where he was. She couldn't seem him behind Tafu's scythe. Tafu then moved out of the way allowing Neji to have a sight towards Lunae. Neji would nod his head at her as he then turned his attention back to the rest of the students as they awaited their sensei. NeonFlow NeonFlow SomebodyElse SomebodyElse

HEIKO Hyūga
The Hyūga was standing with her team members reading her romance novel as she waited. She slid her small book away into her large long sleeves when she noticed her new squad show up. She had sewn in a pocket to easily keep her entertainment from falling out, and to not have to carry the item in her hands. She listened as her squad leader introduced herself. She understood the female drank to null the pain of.. She didn’t know yet, but it was hard to take a someone who showed up plastered for their first introduction seriously. As long as she wouldn’t put her and her two teammates in danger Heiko was fine with the others life choices. She really liked how straight forward the other was. Maybe it was because of the drinks the other had, but she respected the quality nonetheless. She listened as her two team members introduced themselves as the teacher asked. The male seemed cold as stone, and it made her remembered to how quiet the other was in class. Her female squad member was direct, only stating her name. She guessed it was her time.

“My name is Heiko Hyūga, feel free to call me Ko,”she gave the others a polite smile. They got matched together by personality so they should get along, but so far it was rough. She hoped they were a little more talkative than how they were right now. Maybe it was just nerves?

HIDAKI Rinha
The blonde male was walking around the place where they were all supposed to gather with a slight frown. He didn’t seem to see anyone that was supposed to be in his group, not even his squad leader. He was about to give up his search and let his team find him till he spotted his two team members. With a new bounce in his step he made his way over to the two. “Sup,”he said casually as he gave the two a little wave. He looked around them as he expected they’d be with their designated adult. “Have you two seen our leader?”he asked curioused. Maybe they were just late. He took time to notice the appearances of his teammates. One was a good looking male, and the other was a redheaded female. They didn’t seem too hard to get along with. He was used to being the more outgoing person in groups, so he didn’t seem to mind that the others didn’t seem too talkative just yet. But who knew, they could surprise him.

Ginko pushed herself up forming a smirk, "I'm gonna see if they wanna jump into training or would rather get something to eat"
Jin stood up as well, "I suppose treating them to lunch is a good way to learn more about your new-"
"what? No they'll treat me haha"
Ginko cut off Jin as she left quickly in a few strides jumping down to ground level with a body flicker jutsu.
Jin sighed heavily, of course she wouldn't pay. Where does her money go?

Tafu was somewhat glad for having lunae around, sure beat having the wonderful ball of sunshine that is Neji...
It was hard to say if the two were friends. They hardly ever spoke not that tafu hasn't tried before, no it was more like a unspoken competition of who was better. But when Neji replied to his casual small talk it reminded the boy why they didn't speak much. "Only reason you'd say I'm in your way, is that I'm ahead of you"
His smile was replaced by stone face that couldn't help but twitch into a smirk as he realised he could have made all of that rhyme.
Timv9 Timv9

Before anyone could continue Ginko appeared in a puff of smoke.
"yo team 1, I'm your leader you can call me Gin sensei"
Her face seemed tired or just real relaxed like a sleepy casual. "walk and talk with me.."
Ginko spun around and started walking with two hands behind her head letting a yawn loose as she leaned backwards before continuing
"..it's majority choice, we can go eat and I'll answer questions and ask some... or we can walk right out the gate to the forrest and I'll run a little test on you three"

"Ongeku heiko and Fumiko....in order, your parents where obsessed with your clans Kekkei genkai, your parents where just rude, and yours...your parents probably had high hopes for you, beautiful name." Ami states, even in a drunken state she could understand naming conventions. "alright, so, as you three are my first stu..*hic*..dents, I suposse a test is something I should do right? or are you three more the type to laze around and buy me lunch? come on! to the west gate!" She spins around and starts walking before stopping and turning to walk the exact opposite direction "west gate."

Fei Ling

She turns to face the boy who addressed her as "you" and points at herself "oh...me? yeah, I guess so...um, what's crackin?" she says, using what she thought was cool slang. then another boy appeared, he was sort of cute. "s-sup?...ahhh, supper? I could eat. no I don't know where jin-kun is, and it's really annoying, he's always late."

Fumiko

Now that was unusual. To hear a sensei speaking like this towards their students. At first, Fumiko felt mildly insulted at how Ami-sensei has spoken to them, but then, she thought more about her words. They were rude, at least partially, yet there was something more inside them. They... They were almost like a hint that she knows more about them that they do. Was it a warning that they can't trick her? An advice of some kind?

Fumiko decided to give up with trying to figure it out, at least for now. She will have a whole night to think about it. Taking a deep breath and a neutral face, she brushed off that strange compliment and kept her posture intact.

"Come on!" Ami-sensei exclaimed suddenly. "To the west gate!" she ordered them and turned around to march off. Fumiko pondered for a second whether she should inform her sensei that she is walking in the wrong direction, but then she decided against it. Perhaps it was a test, perhaps an honest mistake, but there was no reason for getting scolded for being too "smart".

So she followed her sensei obediently.

Jin watched as Ginko and Ami led their teams off in different directions. He didn't understand why Ginko couldn't get along with his old teammate. They both enjoyed the drink. Seeing as only his students were left Jin put a slight bit more bounce in his step. Coming up to Fei, hideki and shin with a casual grin.
"hey guys, my name is Jin Saiki, you can address me as Jin sensei or Saiki sensei."
He couldn't help but give fei another look over. It was his first failure, a simple D mission that led to someone disappearing for twenty years. The rogue ninja that was caught offered no information. Just a stolen scroll and memories of another time... Not that it mattered now.

Ongaku was instantly irritated by his new sensei, who the hell is this drunk? Unable to speak his name yet claiming she knew of his parents? He followed the team silently fuming to himself.
The woman has years over all of them, but he was sure himself, the hyuga and the Hari... knew which direction west was without having to think twice on it.

What test did the drunk have in mind? As the three followed their staggering sensei Ongaku moved to stand between both girls before speaking quietly
"Heiko, Fumiko, do you think we could split this team and become the fourth to the other three teams?"
His quiet tone and blank face probably made his joke sound less sarcastic then he tried to convey.

Coming up to the three of them their sensei had appeared
"I..Alright, Jin Sensei. I don't know if I have any questions but I don't know any of you."
He didn't really pay attention to the other students in the class. He'd always been focused on his art. It was something he was obsessed with.
People weren't interesting usually. He'd much rather spend his time perfecting his talents than trying to entertain a few kids his age.
However now he supposed it was important he'd atleast learn his team and his sensei. He'd be trusting his life in their hands so he had to know what they were like.
Perhaps he would draw some portraits of his new team sometime. Certaintly were atleast good enough in appearance to look at without turning away.

"Perhaps we could introdue ourselves properly. I am Shin Kazore, I am interested in music and art. I've dreamed of the perfect form of art and that is what I strive to achieve."
He carefully studied his own teammates, the girly looking boy and the tiny redhead. What secrets did they hide. And would they be interested in his interests.

"Your uncle huh? Maybe he'd make some jewelry for me?"
Lunae didn't really care what he made her, but her own façade of being some girly girl would have to be kept up for now.
The other boy was behind him. He seemed indifferent to them. Well that only served to make him more interesting to her.
She glared at him calculatingly for a moment before turning her head the other way to smirk. Not that anyone would see her do so.
Soon enough their sensei appeared. Some older woman with white hair asking them what they would do.
"Well personally, I think we should hear out the boys first but if you're asking me, I think whatever is the most fun is what we should do" She said cheerily.
Lunae was messing around with people's reactions. It would be better to get a feel of the team dynamic. More fun.
Being on a team with two boys would be so interesting. She'd have to be careful though. Revealing too much of her own character wouldn't be wise yet.
She pulled out her fan and started flicking it open and closed.

She didn't know what to think when the other insulted her parents by calling them rude. She knew the other meant what they named her was rude, but still she pursed her lips to keep herself from talking back. The name Heiko had a few different meanings she had found over the years, but her favorite one that she knew of was "equivalent". She thought of it as her parents way to tell her even if she was not a main branch she was still equal to her cousins. Her not so happy emotions fled out as she let go of her breath she was holding. She was used to calming herself down before she did or said anything that she would deem rash later. Her eyebrow was softly raised when the other started to head in the wrong direction, but she seemed quick to notice her mistake. She didn't blame the female, she knew she most likely would have bad direction too if she was drunk. Not that she had tried to drink before. Her eyes lit up in amusement when the quiet male stood between her and her other female teammate and whispered his joke. "Sounds like a plan,"she whispered back playfully trying not to laugh too loudly.

He wanted to laugh at the females interpretation of the word "sup" but refrained. Had she really not heard the word before, or was that her way of joking? Thankfully he didn't have to say anything due to Jin sensei walking over. The adult seemed to have his eyes fixated on the red headed female next to him. He didn't think anything of it as he turned his attention to the pretty male who talked before he could. He remembered what a big deal the other was to the girls in his class. They seemed to love his beauty and his talent for art, and well he couldn't blame them. "Nice to meet you, my name is Hidaki Rinha,"he introduced himself with a confidant smile. "I'm training to become a medical-nin, and I'm interested in interesting people,"he said as he made eye contact with his other two teammates before looking back at his teacher. His voice sounded casual, but his face showed energy and a hint of excitement.

Ami Aralette

as they walked Ami was secretly listening to the three kids behind her, their whispers where louder then they thought, and it's possibly due to them thinking her drunken state meant she wouldn't hear them or understand. she thought about tossing the bottle behind her and aiming for the boys head, but decided he probably wouldn't be able to handle a glass bottle at his level, and instead sliped and let her soft sandals flie off her foot and land on his head. "woops, sorry. ground was moving too fast." she says as she spins and picks the sandal off Ongekus head "wow, landed right on your head, what are the odds? anyway, quiet now, shh shh shh, teacher no likey noise, hurts my head." she points to her head and turns back to continue walking. as her and her team made it to the gate, she sat down on a stump and said and lifted up a specially marked bottle tied to her weist, she swigged it a bit and toppered it back to hang from her weist again. "alright....test is simple. all three of you attack me with whatever attack you want. test doesn't end until atleast one of you hits me good and hard. I'm buying four bowls of ramen tonight, there is some rule or other I forgot....but if you pass that rule then you all three eat with me, if you fail you watch me eat." she says, then her stance changes, she gets into a pose, her hands out, ready to fight....then staggers. "go"

Fei Ling

As soon as Jin arrives Fei looks up at him with her usual look she always gave him back when he was the same age as her "JIN! you can't be late like that! what would master say if he knew you where late as a leader?" she yells, not realizing the irony of her always being the one getting scolded for being too far ahead. "seriously, how are you the one supposed to continue my training? and what's up with that drunk lady? what happened to my generation? jeez, did everything fall apart after..." she continued on a tangent.

Jin couldn't help but feel sorry for the little girl. It must Have been confusing for her, but as she started yelling the jonin found himself feeling like a young genin again. Probably why he responded in such a nostalgic way, a light chop to her head to stop her rambling.
"I'll be furthering your training as im a jonin, and your a genin. Simple as that little ling."
Turning his face to answer Hidaki Jin gave a friendly grin. "well your on the right team I'd say, this loud mouth and the poet will surely keep you in practice as well as enthused..."
Jins eyes meet Shins and the jonin nods, ".. I think that's a good idea actually, nice suggestion Shin. You three need to know each other before you can trust each other"
Jin scratched his chin for a second before snapping his fingers with a answer.
"Your first task is introductions, like Shins example I'll start off...
my name is Jin Saiki, my main goal was to become a great ninja like my mother and father. As my father was a chunin and my mother is a jonin I feel I accomplished that goal. Now my goal is to make sure the next generation is greater then the last... apart of that goal is starting my own family.."

Jin looked upwards as he said the last part, a bit embarrassed to speak to kids about his love life in any matter.
"my favourite food is steak and you three are the second team of genin that I have had the chance to teach."
He sighed before putting on a smile "that's the most I've spoken today hah.. ok one of you keep this going"

Neji Kagume
Neji would grit his teeth at Tafu's little comment, the two had always been sort of rivals. Though Neji would never admit that to anyone. He didn't have a choice, he had to be the best and to him there was no one else in his league. "Heh, I didn't graduate at top of the class for nothing, there can't be anyone ahead of me." All of a sudden a woman landed in front of them, she was their sensei. Gin sensei and she would be leading this team for the foreseeable future. The three of them started to follow her as sensei told them that they had two options. Option one was to get lunch and option two was start a test right away. Tafu said he wanted lunch while Lunae didn't really give an answer. "Lets just get on with it, I'm not here for lunch I'm here to get stronger. " With that Neji would stretch his arms behind his head and wait to see what they would do.

Ginko gave a loud tsk, the girl had no opinion to give and the two boys were opposite ends of the same coin. She stopped walking to spin in place and look down at the kids with a cruel smirk...
"ok fine, first task for team one... be at training field 3 in less then three hours. You each have something to bring me.. uhhhhhhhhh... Chikara! You need to fetch my katana from your uncle's shop.

kagume! You need to bring me three flowers from the yamanaka shop, a white blue and red one all from the inside not the outside...

Lunaekyo! You need to bring me a fresh serving of Raman from ichiraku's... It has to be warm and enjoyable to eat.. that's what i mean by fresh.
as I said you have three hours to do so, but none of you can be seen in the locations I just mentioned. I don't care how you do it, obviously no murder or assault though...
to reiterate, you three get me my sword, three flowers, and a bowl of ramen... But you can't be seen by the owners or anyone in the buildings...
meet me at training field 3!"

With a puff of smoke she was gone, leaving the three standing together with a goal...
"she's sending us on errands!" Tafu shouted in annoyance. He thought on it a moment though... "she made it sound sorta fun though... Like a challenge."
He concluded with his inside voice.

Fumiko

As they walked together, Fumiko couldn't help but notice that something is very off with their sensei. Though acting like a drunkard, she didn't look like a helpless woman that can barely stand on her feet. As if this was on purpose... Was she really drunk? Or maybe it was a part of their test? To see whether they will fall for it?

"Heiko, Fumiko," she heard Ongaku's voice as he whispered to them. "Do you think we could split this team and become the fourth to the other three teams?"

Fumiko raised her eyebrows and looked at him, confused. Was he serious? That shouldn't be even possible... Oh. He was joking. She shrugged, looking back towards the back of their sensei, though there was a small smile, forming on her face.

"Sounds like a plan," she heard Heiko answer him.

Fumiko was focusing so much on Ami-sensei that it would be impossible not to notice her tense a bit - it would be nothing of importance, wasn't it the flying sandal which landed perfectly on Ongaku's head. All four halted immediately and looked at the offending piece of clothing.

"Woops!" Ami-sensei smiled - or was it a smirk? "Sorry. Ground was moving too fast," she explained innocently while spinning around and picking the sandal off Ongeku. "Wow, landed right on your head! What are the odds?"

None, Fumiko thought, guessing that Sensei probably heard their little whispered conversation and wasn't too happy with it. Just another hint not to underestimate the woman, drunk or not. The girl subtly took a deeper breath to get her face back neutral and her movements normal.

"Anyway," Ami-sensei put her sandal back on. "Quiet now," she ordered and made some noises that kind of reminded of a woman trying to peacefully scare off some cats. "Teacher no likey noise, hurts my head," she explained as if it was the most obvious thing in the world before spinning yet again (all while maintaing perfect balance despite being so-called 'drunk') and leading them forward.

Fumiko tried not to glance at Ongaku as not to antagonize him. She guessed that Ami-sensei's goal was to humiliate him a bit for his joke, but she wasn't the one to poke people for such things. It was too silly to be remember. Without any more hesitation, young Hari locked this memory far away in the depths of her head, where plenty of such unimportant events were stored.

As they walked through the village, more than just one person would gaze at them - or more specifically, their leader - and Fumiko couldn't help but wonder what her parents will think should they hear about her company. Will they want her to quit since she has a 'drunk' teacher? No, this would be too much, though she could imagine her father going straight to the Hokage to put forward a very colourful complain. Wouldn't be the first time, after all. Still, Fumiko hoped it won't happen. She was old enough to take care of such things herself and if she couldn't survive one 'drunk' woman, then what was she doing here anyway?

Soon enough, they left the village and head for the training grounds. Ami-sensei sat down on a stump and took yet another swing from her bottle. Was this an unending source of alcohol? What would she do if it run out? "Alright. Test is simple." Sensei sighed. "All three of you attack me with whatever you want. Test doesn't end until at least one of you hits me good and hard. I'm buying four bowls of ramen tonight... there is some rule or other I forgot... but if you pass that rule then you all three eat with me. If you fail - you watch me eat," she explained.

Fumiko spared this a thought. She wasn't particularly hungry, she had a good breakfast before she left for the Academy and it wouldn't be so hard to wait until the supper at her home. Failing wouldn't be exactly serious for her, then. She couldn't say the same for her companions, of course.

Ami-sensei stood up, assuming a fighting position with her hands out. "Go," she staggered.

Fumiko thought about throwing a needle in the sensei's face - imagined it stuck between the woman's eyebrows - before brushing this ridiculous idea away. This wasn't a drunkard from the street and Fumiko couldn't imagine beating her on her own. So she glanced at her companions, wondering what they will do.

Ongaku was livid. This ami woman... such arrogance! Your arrogance woman!!
it shall be your downfall.

The boy fumed all the way outside the village and as sensei sat on a stump just outside the Forrest.

She said something about attacking her... landing a solid hit.
Ongaku's face didn't change at all but both hands reached out and grabbed his team mates shoulders bringing them towards him for the boy to whisper,
He elaborated on his plan quietly enough for the girls to hear but not the drunk.

"we need to scatter, hide, two of us come at her from different angles, the third is throwing everything they have... She wants all three of us to run at her, but we should fight her like ninja. Not a drunken gang."
Nayakri Nayakri L3n L3n

Ongakus hand left Heiko's shoulder as he drew a kunai from his back pouch, his brown eye glared at Ami sensei. Stumbling back and forth awaiting to beat the shit out of kids...
her arrogance... I'll show you Kekkei genkai. I'll show all of You!
It looked as if someone had touched a sore spot on the young boy, angry tears began to well up under his eye. Blinking hard to let the salty drops run down his face Ongaku steadied his voice before giving his team mates more encouragement to his plan.
"scatter!"
With a body flicker jutsu Ongaku lept from the middle of the girls throwing his kunai at Ami as he past by her in the air, jumping from tree branches to bushes to trees to remain hidden.

If the other two did the same thing sensei couldn't possibly avoid three attacks while keeping track of three escaping genin... right?.

HEIKO Hyūga
She watched as her teachers shoe flew up from her foot as she stumbled and landed on the males head. Did she hear them? Heiko kept her mouth shut till they reached a spot and their teacher stopped moving. Listening as the other explained their activity or test if you will she got ready to put her hands together. When the other said "go" she was about to activate her byakugan when the male touched her shoulder and moved her and her other female student towards him. She nodded her head after hearing him out without adding input, not wanting to risk whispering too loud and blowing their plan.
Heiko looked at the male surprised when he started to.. cry? Well everyone had things that could get them emotional so she didn't pay mind to it. She made a mental note to ask Ongaku if he was okay after the test. At the simple word scatter she bolted to the bushes while using her hands to do her activation hand signs. Right as she was about to reach the bush she closed her eyes and did her last hand symbol. "Byakugan!"she called out before slipping into hiding. Once she opened her eyes again she could see all her sensei's and teammates chakra paths through the bushes.
She pulled out two throwing stars and tossed them at her teacher from where she hid aiming for the sensais thighs. She was moving around from bush to bush making sure she wasn't near Ongaku or Fumiko if she decided to join them. Normally she fought in close quarters so she didn't carry too many throwing knifes with her so she hoped that she had enough to create a proper distraction.

Ami stumbled about, her hands in an outward monkey style position. she watched to see what her students would do. scattering? an interesting tactic, but not what she was looking for. it was her students naive belief that she would have to keep track of all three of them to avoid getting hit, but this was wrong. she saw the young boy start to cry, must have hit a nerve with him. as the three disappear from view, her breathing slows, and her purposeless staggering begins to look intentional as she "accidentally" falls to the ground, nearly avoiding a kunai, then she arches her back to avoid the next, she drunkenly stumbles to her feet, constantly avoiding the incoming projectiles, she then spins around as she catches two of them out of the air and gets back into a fighting stance, with a goofy smile on her face. she tosses the kunai to the ground and laughs "mantis catches thrown bottle" she says, announcing the made up name for the technique she had used to grab the kunai. "kunai are not going to work, maybe it's time for someone else to try to lead?" she says, trying to see if Ongaku can be forced into a close quarter attack.

Fumiko

"We need to scatter. Hide! Two of use come at her from different angles, the third is throwing everything they have... She wants all three of us to run at her, but we should fight her like ninja. Not a drunken gang."

Fumiko wasn't so certain that acting like a drunken gang would be a bad thing considering their sensei. Nevertheless, she did what the boy asked, following him as he launched a fake attack - at least, she hoped it was a fake - and then all of them scattered around, hiding in the trees. The girl wondered whether she should climb a tree or hide in the bushes, but in the end, she decided for the quicker and easier way of shielding herself from the view of Ami-sensei. Bushes were good. Uncomfortable but decent.

Fumiko pondered what she should do now. Ongaku didn't specify who should do what, though she guessed that he will be the one to deliver the best he could - especially after that one humilating moment with a sandal. Still, it meant that she and Heiko have an important job to do. Distract a jounin. Won't be easy. Fumiko had her needles and some shurikens she could throw, but she doubted it would do anything good. She could try to aim for some weak spots in Sensei's body, but there was a question whether she'll even get so close.

Most likely, they will never beat the sensei this way. Fumiko took a deep breath, trying to think. How to defeat that woman? Wait, no. No one said anything about defeating her... Only punching. Kicking. Hitting. It was probably a test for their teamwork, but how to work if you are on your own? Fumiko searched for her companions, but they were gone.

"Kunai are not going to work!" Ami-sensei exclaimed suddenly, looking around as if to try to localise them. "Maybe it's time for someone else to try to lead?"

So she tried to bait them to come out and lose. Fumiko worried that it may work with Ongaku, especially when it came to the state he is now. The girl slid her hands down her face, thinking. She thought about how easy it was to make her react with simple, innocent whispering. Young Hari's eyes lingered a bit on the level of Ami-sensei's face. She had only one eye.

One eye. Limited vision. Her weak spot.

But will it work? She must have learned some technique to help her with that. Fumiko felt lost. How are they supposed to even land a friendly pat on her shoulder, not to mention a real hit?

She had no idea. Shaking her head with resignation, Fumiko decided to stop Ongaku from appearing and getting kicked around. Feeling like a last fool, she stood up and walked out of her hideout. If she's going to be lucky, she will return home in one piece.

She wanted to bait them. Let's see if she can be also baited.

After Ongaku was sure he was hidden he surveyed the area... a good twenty-five metres away from Ami who was stumbling by the stump still, calling out in a attempt to goad him or the others into throwing less sharp things. Not a chance... sensei mentioned any attack they wanted. It makes sense for the two girls to attack head on with taijutsu or short range ninjutsu, but Ongaku had different strengths.

Heiko seemed hidden, so is fumi- ah she stepped into view. The boy made a silent tsk as he performed hand seals...
snake, boar, bird, ram, bird....
violent string jutsu.

Ongaku readied his shamisen and took a breath stepping out from behind the tree aiming at the monkey stanced jonin. Plucking the strings to play four quick notes, three sharp and one flat at the end.
Stepping back behind the tree and jumping once more to remain out of sight the musical genin made sure to keep distance as well as in range of his offensive jutsu.

(The idea of his string jutsu, the notes he plays fires a different violent action. He hasn't got the chakra or skill to make skeleton warriors, he is more shooting sharp wind and basically invisible punches)
