Welcome to Naruto: Our Ninja Way....
This roleplay takes place in an Alternate Universe where none of the original cast exist. With the collaboration of other players, we have built a world in which we believe will interest many and create a fun environment for our own created characters to enjoy. You will find more information on the political climate of our little ninja world and how each of the 5 Nations are handling their own problems. You will also notice that the Tailed Beast are a little bit different in this roleplay and not much of a force to be reckoned with......just yet. In addition, you will get illustrations of each of the 5 Kage, a little insight on Konoha's move to create a better world government and hopefully the desire to join us! Our characters will start off in Konoha, where Leaf Jonin will lead a group of Genin (from all around the globe) on a mission for change.

The Tailed Beast (The 9 Gods)
Tailed Beasts are worshipped as part of the every evolving Shinobi World. Each of the 9 Gods are said to be based off of the living Beasts of the past - all believed to have been sealed away by Temple monks. Generations ago, individuals worshipped singular gods to obtain certain fortunes. For example, Son Goku was known as the God of Power and Chomei as the God of Longevity. However, in this day in age the majority of the five nations worship all the gods. Yet, you may find small villages who worship individual gods or deities of their own - outside of The 9 Gods.
1. Shukaku: God of Mischief
2. Matatabi: God of Wealth
3. Isobu: God of Wisdom
4. Son Goku: God of Power
5. Kokuo: God of Love
6. Saiken: God of Knowledge
7. Chomei: God of Longevity
8. Gyuki: God of Loyalty
9: Kurama: God of Protection
Temple of Fire
The Temple of Fire has been a staple in the Land of Fire for centuries. They are known to be the ‘lending hand’ of the Leaf - at least, they were until the rise of Shinobi and the economic downfall of the Five Nations. Years ago it was said that they led the way to the sealing of the Jinchuriki (The 9 Gods) and have since been slowly fading with their history. The Temple of Fire now runs on donations by the surrounding villages, doing jobs that Shinobi wont without proper compensation. Their numbers however are dwindling and what was once a reckoning force is now a crumbled hope for change.
Political Landscape
The Shinobi World has always been led by the 5 Kage. Voted into office by popular vote, the strongest of Shinobi oversee the vast majority of their Land. Time has however changed and so have thoughts on how prestigious the Kage really are. Below you will find information of the Five Great Nations, each with their policiatal climate.
Konogakure: Founded by the Hyuga and Uchiha Clan, Konogakure is known to be one of the strongest and most distinguished of the 5 Nations - prospering economically and socially, but only after making way to community engagement and a fair governing system. As a worldwide restoration occurs, Konogakure is the frontline of this change, attempting to help Nations create their own parliament and escape the feudal system that currently rules most of the Shinobi world. Konoha however has been spread thin, making it almost impossible to correct their problems at home as they attempt to make global change. They have since started a program to unite ninja from all around the globe to help their cause. The program has been embraced with open arms by some, but bashed by others. Only time will tell if their efforts to create a new worldwide government will pay off or cause the downfall of Konoha.
Current Hokage: Semaki Akinoue
Sunagakure: West of Konogakure is the dry desert known as the Land of Wind. Sungakure then lays right at the center of it all, ruled by the unconventional Kazekage, Yashima the Salamander - a yokai. Giant in stature and known throughout the world for his intellect, Yashima has proven himself better to lead than any human before him. Most from the Sand believe him to be one of The 9 Gods - a missing deity never mentioned in the history books. His nation is in constant turmoil with Konogakure, attempting to retain their form of government and not cave to eastern idealisms. Rumors have it that Yashima desires to rule over all the 5 Great Nations, but the reports do not appear plausible as his nation suffers from a lack of Shinobi influence.
Current Kazekage: Yashima the Salamander
Kirigakure: Capitalizing on the Mist Sea that surrounds them, Kirigakure has successfully coasted up until the beginning of Konoha’s restoration movement - where their flaws have been revealed on a massive scale. Before, they had gone under the radar - its people living their daily lives as minimalist. The civilians of Kirigakure had seemingly adapted the personality of their Mizukage, a “carefree and lazy beach bum” as they would call him. Crime in the Land of Water is currently at its peak - higher than any other nation’s. Their Shinobi are seemingly incapable of preventing simple theft and battery, or lack the inclination to do so. However, it is the mass murders that catches the attention of the people and opens their eyes to the true state of their nation. People are now asking the Mizukage to act and stop the ones doing the killings, a group known as the 7 Swordsmen of the Mist.
Current Mizukage: Suigaku Mugen
Kumogakure: Similar to Kirigakure, Kumogakure has been able to stay out of the national spotlight. Ruled by Darmani Kaiju - the Raikage - Kumogakure is seemingly triumphing against all odds. Word for a restoration reached them, but has not affected them as it has the other four nations. The Land of Lightning has taken advantage of the rising mayhem by sending Shinobi to small villages in the West to complete jobs that their own Shinobi are unable to do. They are taking advantage of the crack in the economy and fueling their pockets. It is only a matter of time before other nations start to see more and more Cloud Shinobi in their lands which will catch the attention of the five nations.
Current Raikage: Darmani Kaiju
Iwagakure: Since history can remember, Iwagakure has had one of the most reckoning military forces up to date. Their “no nonsense” policy runs deep in the veins of every Shinobi in their ranks. So much that their military decided to overthrow the Tsuchikage and name their highest ranking officer the new leader of the Stone. Their rule over their land seemed unbreakable until the restoration began. Konoha’s governing influence has reached the outskirts of the Land of Wind and created much chaos for the ruling military force. The people have begun to fight for their right to choose which has caused the Stone to use it’s own resources and lower their defenses. Konoha is currently in talks to send Shinobi in hopes of aiding against the brewing revolution, but won’t do so without talks to change. Will the Stone budge and allow Leaf interference to save their nation or will they charge headstrong against their own people?
