History: At the age of 12, When the invasion of the Tha'Kar started, Minneapolis wasn't the first to be hit, And for the following weeks the only things her family had heard about the invasion were mere rumors, stories, and hear-say. A year after it started, Her brother went to fight in the war. He was killed 6 weeks on duty, by a lesser Tha'Kar. This was before their family had fled, and when Naomi got word, She was devastated. She had admired her older brother, and was close with him, and now he was dead.

This was the first emotional bombshell she had to face to get to where she is in the Orbital Platform. Her mother was killed when people started to flee, and Naomi opted to stay with her father, who was trying to get people to evacuate. She didn't want to leave him behind, and she stayed behind herself, in secret. When her mother's ship took off, She had trouble finding her father. The finally found each other, and he vowed (in his own mind) to protect her. As the years came and went, her father signed up for the armed forces, and fought a year against the Tha'Kar. When he came back to whichever parts of the planet Naomi had made it to, he would finally be able to stay with her, instead of being ripped from her once more. But soon enough, the small encampment they had resided in got overtaken, and she watched the Tha'Kar devour him, almost whole. During the attack, She was cut in a non-lethal spot on the neck, leaving a 3 inch, by 1/2 inch scar running vertical on her neck. The only reason she survived, was because it had knocked her into an emergency tunnel system, with a few other escapee soldiers, who flew her off the planet. Years past, and after a few years of failed counceling and school life on Mars, and one genetic modification, courtesy of her academy's Nano-bot robotics program, she got her job aboard the Orbital Platform. Hesitant to return, she now lurks quietly on the platform, whilst going about her work.
