A loud thwack sounded as the sound of steel against steel clanged together another bulbous bubble pressed into the large black steel gate of the demon queens castle began to bow.
"Keep it up we are almost to their KEEP!" yelled Hero as he grabbed hold to the side of the battering ram digging in his heels and slamming it once again against the door. As the boisterous cackle of his companion Junziburo flexed his muscles with each strike. "HEAVE! PUT YOUR BACKS INTO IT! HO!"
The cries of demons and humans alike could be herd as the raging inferno of the outer cloister to the keep was light ablaze by the humans fires. screaming of the innocent demon families could be heard as the pillaging human military slaughtered them in toe with the other soldiers not caring about rank and file. Up the cobbled walk way bodies lined it their blood pouring from their open wounds and cuts soaking into the groat. The splayed river continued to the front gate as more and more of the Human alliance military poured in. This would be the decisive battle to end the demons military campaign with every last demon murdered and slaughtered.
The door snapped again as it almost gave way to the brute smashing of the battering ram.
Jan let out a little whistle as he stood guard watching out for enemy soldiers. "That door looked mighty expensive..." He called up staring at the titanous doorway with the warping demon steel.
"JUST ONE MORE!" Hero cried out as the ram slammed against the door.
With that a loud thunderous clap and roar burst through the bone of all living things throughout the entire city. The demon doors snapped from their hinges as they creaked a loud shriek falling fast towards the earth.
"Brace yourselves!" The hero roared right before the door smashed to the ground sending a torrent of wind flurrying past them. The blast tearing at their armor. Some of the soldiers near the gate began to be hard pressed by the wind sending them flying down the path they had just walked up. Blown back by the awesome force. Junziburo stood there a giant smirk on his face as he puffed out his chest the wind stinging his flesh.
The gale passed just as soon as it came with mighty devastation. Jan, Johnny, Junziburo and the Hero all stood at the fallen gate peering in to the dark courtyard.
“Forward!” Hero flung his right arm forward with a sudden jerk taking a step onto the large steel platform that was once a door. “Jan... Junziburo, Johnny this war ends here. Weapons ready the worst has yet to come.”
“Hah! I want a real fight! Give me the biggest monster you can muster Demon Queen!” Junziburo roared as he heaved his heavy anchor of a sword onto his shoulder with one arm his body tense in anticipation as he followed the hero in the courtyard.
Jan muttered to himself as he climbed up following the group. “Just think you’ll be rich after this, and have a bed… Oh how I miss a bed this camping shit is for the young.” Jan sighed cracking his back before he was swallowed by the courtyards darkness.
“Kaw!”
“Quite right Horatio!” Johnny exclaimed to the crow on his shoulder rubbing its beak with the back of his index finger. “It would be easily assumed that the demon queen would be flame-retardant. I’ll bet you 3 eyeballs that she is in fact not.” Johnny followed his troop inside all with a visible smile spreading from ear to ear.
“Kaw!”
“Fine four!”
The knights behind them watched as their figures of moral dissipated into the darkness that seemed to swallow them whole. The men behind began to chatter and look to each other to see who else would follow. A low moan emanated from the courtyard that sent a shiver through their bones.
The four men the Hero and his troop now stared at the mouth of the beast as the black stained courtyard stretched for what seemed like a mile. The blue flamed torches with green ember tips flickered painting the ground in new hue of black and blue. The long path was etched with the demon garden of rose like plants
Their flower husk as black as the night sky above. The Silver thorns that held the head of the flower shimmer and shone in the crimson moon. A moon that had soaked up the blood of the thousands of dead lying on the ground outside the inner gate. The outside noise of metal swords clashing against each other the sound of iron greaves striking cobble stones became a distant whisper as the inner sanctum seemed to snuff out the carnage outside.
Suddenly a vast dome of purple exploded out the top of the castle as it quickly stretched and encompassed the castle and its courtyard. The large barrier had light colored magical runes flowing throughout its magic shell as it pulsed with a miasma like surface.
“Tsch. Can’t go back now.”
“We would never go back.”
“I personally like the option.”
The sound of stone crumbling snapped through the courtyard as the torches began to flicker along with the ground beneath shaking in terror.
“Somethings coming.”
“Something BIG!”
A dark voice filled with a new found wrathful elegance and seasoned with age of wisdom began to speak.
“Those that knock shall receive the hounds.”
“I know that VOICE!..... General of the North… The fang of desolation Kibamaru.”
The large pounding sound of the colossal wolf stopped as its massive front half stepped into a visible view of the low glowing fire. The blue hue danced on its dark brown coat of fur whose tips were tainted and stained with the red blood from its foes.
Kibamaru’s massive jaws slowly opened to utter more words to his foes in front of him.
“MINE!”
“What?!”
“What?!”
“What?!”
Johnny staring at the demon fire that lined the long courtyard. “Huh?”
“You guys go on ahead, I got this.” The Hero and the rest of the companions and Kibamaru turned towards the large perfected meat mountain of a man Junziburo blinking slowly and taking in what he said.
The enormous wolf cackled as its laugh made the air around them feel heavy and dense as it weighed down on the companions with its tyrannical might.
“It has been many moons since someone has stood alone before me.”
Junziburo made a slight head flick to the group to try and get them to move.
“You guys get out of here. This is a man’s fight…”
The hero, Johnny, and Jan gave a serious expression as they gave a slight head tilt to acknowledge his heroic deed in fighting the 3-4 storied wolf.
Junziburo called out after them as they passed them.
“Hero go get your woman! Er…. I mean kill your woman since you know, you are the hero and… she’s the demon queen it’s your job to, you know kill her.”
Like a hammer to the back of his entire groups heads, as they dropped in perfect unison in shame.
“He was cool for a moment.”
“Soo. Lame.”
“Kaw!”
“Nyahah! You are right Horatio!”
The all let out a heavy sigh as they continued walking through the courtyard short Junziburo.
The wolf reared its head back as it locked its front paws its head rising up to the sky like a tower touching the black canvas of the sky. Its mouth slightly ajar as it howled with a mighty roar. The epicenter of the roar blossomed into a wave of sound exploding the air around it. The black flowers burst from their briar thorn patch and flew up into the sky. Like black rain drops falling from the sky in a slow but steady downpour.
The piercing howl rattled the earth near the group of heroes trying to ascend to the manor. The sudden startle burned their ears as each of them clutched in pain not ready for its power. The petals around them lifted into the sky tappering down in the soft wind. Johnny's eyes widened his mouth slowly opening to let out a little noise of exasperation.
“We should run.” Johnny cried. With that little statement Johnny took his hands grabbing onto the front of his robes lifting them up like a girl in a dress and began sprinting off towards the manor. Horatio flying behind him.
“Kaw kaw!”
“Big boom Horatio, BIG boom!”
The Hero and Jan's eyebrow raised as they picked up the pace to a semi jog. The petals around them began to fizzle and snap like a flame wick. The black petals were soon replaced with a crimson red blossom of flame as they exploded in sequence towards the Hero and Jan. Their legs firmly pressed against the ground as they began sprinting the explosions right on their heel as they ducked or jumped each petal that was replaced with flame around them.
“Get to the stairs!”
“Where else would WE GO!”
Racing to the stairs that were bleached a soft purple by the large fire spires of blue flame spires and red moonlight mixing together. These mountain of steps led to a large black oaken door embroidered with silver steel handles. The Heroes gained their breath as they took to the stairs slowly as to gain their composure after running the distance of the courtyard. Each step gave a new jolt to their moral in the climb. Reaching the top they looked out towards the shaded courtyard as the figure of the mountainous wolf moved with quick agility striking at a tiny black spec in the distance. The could feel the air rumble from the sheer violence they left behind.
The hero pressing his hands on both sides of the large door pressed them open. The crimson moonlight flying into the dark lobby spreading itself onto the white marble floors of the manor. The low glow expunged itself from the floor and spread onto the walls as the interior began to illuminate itself. The dim foyer echoed the noise of the groups boots tattling against the marble floor. Their eyes wandered as they went deeper into the heart of the demon manor. A new door in front of them they looked to each other with a slight nod pressing through it they entered an out of place room.
This large circular room was lit with what seemed like white sunlight that peered down on the broken marble surface that was covered in moss grass and flowers alike the walls lined with vines and other various colors of the rainbow flowers speckled this abstract green house like room. The soft light gleamed off the watery beads that laid lackadaisically on the petals and leaves of the plant. There in the center was a large mound of green that began to move slowly as it took to its feet. A giant green fox whose figure was twice that of a mans eyed the 3 men with a piqued curiosity. Taking a step forward the area around the paws came to life as a gorgeous array of plants and flowers erupted from the floor around its foot.
“Who is it that enters my garden?.”
The green fox took another step closer as the bloom around each paw print again sprout to life.
“Do not stand in my way Rahma you were once a valiant spirit please let us pass.”
“I can not let that happen hero my place is here by my ladies side.”
“Fine then I-”
“I want this.”
“Johnny?”
“Kaw!”
“Alright, alright try not to burn the place down before we get out. Come on Jan”
“Ohhh Human you wish to challenge the emerald beast?”
“You smell like burning!”
“WHAT?!”
“Kaw!”
“NYAH -AHAHAHAAHAHAHAH!"
The Hero and Jan felt a chill run up their spine as they heard those words looking to each other and at the door at the end of the room
“Oh Shi-”
“RUN JAN!”
The rooms temperature began to increase as the demonic smile on Johnny's face began to crack even wider. The racing footsteps of his companions fading from his ear.
“FRIENDLY FIRE! FRIENDLY FIRE! Give us 10 seconds!”
The room began to swirl in a sweltering heat as Rahma lowered its front paws on the ground giving out a slight roar. The plants and flowers in the room began to pulse with a new ever exceeding growth as the greenery overtook what was left of the white marble flooring and walls.
The Hero and Jan kicked open the far door at the end of the circular room as they quickly slammed it shut behind them. Slamming their backs against the door trying to brace it from the coming blast. The Hero and Jan grit their teeth as they used their entire body to hold the door. All sound ceased to be for a moment as they both looked at each other with worrisome eyes. With a chaotic pulse emanated against the door followed by a giant slap against it flames breached the edges of the cracks as a sea of red and orange daggers shot through parts of the door. Stinging and lashing at the Hero and Jan's face like flaming serpents. The fire died down as a black cloud of smoke poured through the holes in the door.
Letting out a long awaited breath they both held they gave a warm smile to one another as they straightened themselves and began their walk of the long throne room. A shade of a woman and child like creature seated near the end opposite of them. The hero's hand slowly lowered to his hip as hit fingers touched the gold encrusted hilt of the sword slowly trailing up to the handle that was wrapped in a fine cloth. The chain tassel on the end giving a click of enjoyment as its wielder clenched his hand and retrieved the sword from the scabbard. The blade sung a high hymn as it permeated the large chamber. The white steel glowing vibrantly in the hand of the Hero. Jan retrieved his sword just the same but the sirens song of death that followed the heroes sword was absent his. Giving a slight grin Jan clicked his tongue and continued right behind the hero.
“DEMON QUEEN! I've come for your ugly head!”
The hero announced his presence as the Queen took from her throne standing in front of her approaching opponent the small child next to her clinging to the scarlet dress the demon queen wore.
This young child was adopted into her care as the campaign against the demons saw many of their large cities burnt to the ground.
“Jan kill the kid.”
“You serious?!”
“All demons deserve to die, if we let her live she will one day come back and try and take revenge. Then this vicious cycle will never end. Kill her and end this war once and for all.”
Jans eyes slowly closed as his breathing deepened at the thought of killing a young little girl. He had seen so many children in his days of being alive the purity the laughing the fun they had. On either side they seemed to all be kids. Afraid of war afraid of the carnage that adults made. Either side demon or human they were all the same just the teachings they learned.
“I can't kill a kid...”
“You can and YOU WILL!”
“What happened to you...? I thought I taught you better.”
“This is no time to lecture me about morality... not when we are so close.”
“So close to what? Murdering an innocent child?!”
The Demon Queen Lillianna let out a loud laugh as she listened to their squabble.
“Are you quite done yet?”
The Hero glanced at the Lillianna then back at Jan. The Heroes face with a stern and cold expression masking his once happy face.
“I'll kill her and the brat. You just make sure she doesn't run away.”
“Ly-”
“Follow orders Jan!”
“...”
“Im coming Demon Bi+@#!”
The hero launched forward with all his might as an aura of blue light surrounded him with magical intensity. Lillianna's eyes flashed a bright gold as she outstretched her hand towards the hero that flew towards her. The two auras clashed as red and blue spheres exploded in a furious manner. Lighting strikes of pure arcane danced across the ground as the the marble it touched cracked and dissipated from the energies burst.
“Down boy!”
The dark red sphere around the demon queen exploded sending the hero flying back towards the ground landing on his feet he rose his sword to the ready position. Removing his left hand from the handle he raised it towards the blade holding it an inch from the steel he quickly slide it up. A blue light engulfed the edges of the sword. The light of the blade plastered itself to all the objects in the room as the once dull lit throne room exploded into a birth of light. The red rug now shone brightly under foot the white marble that spread from under the rug glistened. The walls were stained white the and the golden throne burst into a vibrant shine.
“THIS ENDS TODAY!”
The heroes feet stormed against the rug as he ran forward. The Demon queen lowered her stance slightly black spear like lances floating above her. With a quick flick of the wrist the black spearheads sprang to life flinging themselves towards the rush of the Hero. With nimble movements the hero side stepped or slashed them out of his way.
Jan took this distraction into his favor the young girl sat their wide eyed at the explosion of magic. The intense scene vexing her into a stage of paralysis. Jan lowered himself behind the girl setting his hand on her should she let out a little wisp of air. Merith's eyes began to swell with tears her head slowly turning to see the man standing behind her. Jan locked eyes with the young girl his serious face changed that to a small fatherly small the warmth emanating from the silly grin. The young girl found her small cheeks slightly less tense as the tears seemed to flow less.
“Don't worry I wont let anything happen to you. I promise. He wont harm a hair on your head.”
With that Jan and the little girl continued to watch the carnage of the final battle.
The Hero slashed his glowing blade as it collided with the red barrier of the demon queen as her hands quickly made swiping motions a sea of dark red magic formed and confronted the glowing blue blade.
With each charge of the blade battering against her attempts to shield herself made her back peddle more and more.
The Hero planted his feet against the ground coiling them like a spring and then quickly exploding off the floor he took to the sky, sword in both hands.
“DIE!”
“tsch.”
Lillianna rose her hands to block it as the magic swirled in front of her and solidified. The blue sword smacked against it in a furious explosion a large blast shock waved out. The once bright light erupted into a torrent of pure energy against the barrier. Lillianna and the Hero screamed loudly Lillianna slowly falling to her knees and the Hero getting knocked back in a violent fashion the sword in his hand flying out and towards the side. Straight for Jan and Merith who stood watching in aw. Jan gave a little huff of anger as he quickly moved his sword in front of the small girls face the broad side of it clashed against the heroes sword as both sets of weapons were sent sailing through the air to different sides of the room. Jan from the force of the sword and ripple effect got knocked down to the ground. Letting out a low oof as his tush hit the marble.
The Hero laid on the floor for a moment as he tried to regain his breath. His body was feeling heavier and heavier with each strike. They were using up far to much raw energy trying to kill each other to sustain a long drawn out fight. Hero slammed his fist to the floor as he slowly anchored himself up his legs slightly shaking underneath. The Hero slowly eyed the room to find his sword was sent in the same direction as himself. With a slow movement the Hero began to move towards his sword the once powerful glow now absent. The orbs of the heroes eyes moved to his peripheral vision as he watched the demon queens large chest heave in each breath she was getting tired as well. His heavy body ached as he bent down grabbing hold of the handle that once was held with furious vigor. The Hero scanned the room as he tried to make out where his ally was the dim light now overtaking the room causing a slight blur on as his pupils adjusted to the low light.
Jan looked around the room in a lost bafflement his head fuzzy and ears ringing from the shock wave. The young girl Merith was missing from her place right in front of him. In a panic Jan's head jerked first left to where he saw the hero standing and then the right where he saw Merith walking towards him his sword in hand. Not in a way to attack but one to hand it back, a bright smile on her face.
The heroes fuzzy vision came back as he saw the young girl standing over Jan sword in hand.
“JAN!”
The Hero grit his teeth as the hold of his sword in his right hand tightened. His left palm burst open as a surge of white light pulsated around his fingertips in a swirl of white mist trickling around them.
“ARCANE BOLT!”
The hero shot his left hand forward as the arrow of magic energy lept forward the white light emanating from it glowing in the dark hall as it raced towards the little girl. Jan heard the shout of his companion as his head quickly flicked to the left to see a white light bright like the starts in the sky sailing towards him... no not him. His head swiveled to the right to see the little girl Merith a few feet from him.
“NOOOOOOOOO!” Jan's hand outstretched towards the small child as the light stained his figure as it sped past him. There was no sound in the hall as the light hit its target Jan's eyes went wide in horror as he watched the silhouette of the small girl get swallowed by white. The sword she once hell slowly descended down to white marble bellow. The blade gleaming and glistening as it twirled in slow motion on its fall. The blade struck the ground with a loud ting.
“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
Lillianna exploded as the room's torches flicked then entirely dissipated. The Queen rose to her feet snuffing out all the warmth in the room and absorbing it. A low rumble could be felt around the castle floor.
A giant earth shattering crack of stone rubble and marble exploded into the throne room as a body of a man was sent rag dolling into the side wall opposite of his entrance. His body firmly imprinted into the wall.
“Is... that the best... you've got?!” Junziburo pressed his arms out from his crater and picked himself out of the wall giving a small spit of blood a large smile on his face.
Another loud sound came from behind as The hero quickly shot to the ground a giant green fox covered in flames shot over his head as it slammed against the ground and slid next to the princess. The sound of footsteps came behind as well as Johnny took to the room.
“Kaw!”
“Nyahahahah! That is what the fox says when it burns.”
Kibamaru in a smaller form burst through the hole Junziburo had once come through.
The three demons now on one side of the room and three humans on the other side. Jan watched from the middle as his head glanced to either side.
“Milady it would be wise to retreat the battle is 4 vs 3. Rahma is injured and the man I faced is unwilling to die.”
“No!”
“I-I-it would be wise to heed Kibamaru's council, The castle and the city is lost.”
.
.
.
.
.
“This isn't over...”
The demon queens gaze pierced straight to the Hero who could feel the tips of her gaze stab into his body.
The Demon queen raised her hand to the sky as a purple cloud appeared over her head as it grew larger and larger the mouth was black as night as the three figures disappeared into the swirling vortex.
“After them!”
Junziburo, and Johnny both nodded their head to their leader as they sprinted towards the opening The Hero following them in toe. Jan's body refused to move as he watched the hero move swiftly towards the portal as the opening began to close.
“Jan come on we need you!”
Jan snapped from his frozen demeanor as he quickly ran to his sword grabbing it and leaping into the portal with the rest of them.

MALE CHARACTERS!
Junko
Name: Jan (Pronounced Yan, but everyone says Jan anyway.) Bendavid (Prounounced Bendavid very very fast, but everyone says Ben-Dayvid anyway.)
Human Name: Junko (yes I am aware that this is a female name, I am, Jan isn't.)
Gender: Male
Age in Fantasy world: 250, what can I say? He's cursed and immortal at least back there he is...
Age: 17 and 6 months or so that piece of paper said.
Appeareance:
Body Shot
Kurosu Uppu
Additional Appearance: N/A Well...that bandana never leaves his head....EVER
HEIGHT: 5'7 or 170.20cm
WEIGHT: 160lbs or 72.57kg
Personality: The Hero was never taught how to manage his things, most of what he knew relied on destroying things that has "BAD GUY" written all over it more than anything. When it was between fighting this demon and the next one, Jan shined. He kept everything in order, he kept the expenses as minimal as they could. The Hero may be the leader but he always had the final say when it came to spending ANYTHING. He is prudent and efficient as an individual. He is the manager behind the scenes of ADVENTURE. He isn't very outgoing though and doesn't speak his mind much, in fact he's very shy when not among familiar company. Then again, even in familiar company he tends not to say much because he is shy, You all thought he was all expressive when with friends huh?
Background: For starters, Jan was the heir to a trading empire. One that collapsed due to a miscalculation as certain someone *cough*Jan*cough* mistook as a golden opportunity. The old people know him as that stupid kid with that red thing on his head. The story behind the red thing was simple, he thought it looked cool and still does.
Now I said he was cursed right? Well I still say he is but I let you judge yes? To regain his family's fortune Jan set out on a journey to find the fabled stone, I mean the thing is just called the fabled stone. When he got there it wasn't even a stone, just a block of wood with too much dirt on it. MAGICAL DIRT. The magical dirt gave him three wishes, the idiot took one. "Oh could you make me more smarter? That's three wishes right?"
AND SO he became more smarter, but it didn't save his family's fortune. Suffice it to say, that the Fabled Stone didn't exist and his family sorta kinda left him. If the Fabled Stone didn't exist, then what did he find? Well it was the Dirt of Immortality, No one knew why the Dirt gave Jan a wish but the Dirt worked in mysterious ways.
Then he become travelling merchant to go bring honah(honor) back to famiry(family). He did not take first step in journey, when crazy hero man said "Hey you more smatah(smarter) I take you with me and you wurr no have choice." -Take note no one knew how the Hero recruited Jan, Jan himself couldn't recall because he was shocked by the prospect of adventure- Needless to say he didn't rebuild his family's fortune, not that the family cared, they had back up son in case eldest goes horribly wrong.
Working alongside the Hero and the Bronzed God, gave him little room to grow in the ways of fighting. Whenever he felt like it was time to prove himself, the Bronzed God and the Hero had already cut down majority of the lesser demons and usually left the higher ones to which Jan was never confident he could handle. He spent 50 of his 250 years of life trying to learn how to fight. 50 years produced minimal results due to the presence of the 2 other burly men who made it their living to cut down the weak first because let's face it, racking a 1000+++ body count in a single fight is a very satisfying achievement. He only had practice on his own and neither of the two warriors know of his endeavors and any chance, he wasn't going to let them know and get the receiving end of the joke stick. He didn't possess any aptitude for magic, which automatically threw that out of the window.
Did I mention he was horrible in a fight? Well I'll do it again. He is a merchant, not a fighter, though he does try to be one, he can tell you how many demons there are....usually after a fight.

Human Name: Reno
Gender: Male
Age in Fantasy world: 365
Age: 16
Height: 6 foot 3,
Weight: 200 lbs
Appeareance:
Fantasy World Appearance:
Additional Appearance: Yes, he doesn't wear shirts or shoes, and yes he carries around a sword with him whenever he can.

Background: When people talk about the man who goes about with no shirt, wielding a sword heavier than an anchor, they talk about Renovamen. The man who kicks names and takes ass. The knight champion, the lord of the fight, and the man with the body of a bronzed god. He's always been a fighter to the end, some people even say he head butted his way out of his mother's womb. As soon as he became able enough to fight (ten years old), he picked up the heaviest sword he could find and began chopping up every demon that came his way. In no way was he a hero, he kept hitting the wrong guys. Although thanks to his brutality against the forces of dark, he's been knighted by three different kings. How has he lived so long? People say it's because he has mastered his body in every way possible. If you ask him, he'd say "Because awesome."
When the hero approached him at the knight tournament (that Renovamen was not allowed to join, but instead was used as a trial being "Survive a round against the bronzed beast"), he was propositioned to finally leave absolutely boring life of a noble and go out on the battlefield where he could get back to hurting things. Renovamen never turns down a challenge, he loves it with all his soul, the sport of bout, and any physical activity there is, he'll keep doing it until his body breaks down. Beat the enemy down, but let him get back up so you can beat him down again! Absolute strength is that the only limit, and that rule ain't even strict!

Never knowing anything but war Hero has been desensitized by all the blood shed and war having been apart of it since his birth. His parents were the holy church of the land as they bent and crafted him into the perfect weapon to snuff out and destroy all the evil. In a once losing war now changed to one they could win. The remaining humanoid forces joined together behind him as they marched across the multiple continents and islands killing and obliterating all the demon queens armies. Battles with the generals and leaders of the demon armies only served as a speed bump that would inevitably be passed. Within 4 years of this 25 year war since the heroes arrival the color of victory changed.
Now on the final eve on the most important battle of the known universe a puzzling question plagued his mind. After the war, what would he do? This was posed to him by one of his companions who served not only as the inventory manager but also the banker of their expedition. With this hard question plaguing the heroes mind as they stormed the castle it would severally affect him on a level unknown to him. His skills against the demon queen slowed down his actions were less deliberate... it was as if he wanted her to live. After hours of combat the Demon Queen retreated through one of her cowardly portals. It was the heroes chance the one he waited for taking the chance he rushed after her in order to kill her and disappear somewhere. They would tell great stories of his mighty fight and self sacrifice he thought. Not of the hero that got old fat and useless...
Yojiro
Name: Yojiro Sasaki
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Appearance:
Additional Appearance:
Height: 5"9'
Personality:
Yojiro is a rather mellow guy, he prefers to take things easy, in his case 'less is more'. He's an intelligent fellow. He has a multitude of interests and is signed up for a few after school clubs, though in most of them he is a provisional members. Unreliable and constantly tardy, he is the epitome of a slacker. Beneath his guise of dilatoriness burns a flame of passion and imagination. Foremost among his passions is that towards glasses. Unlikely though it may be, he is in fact a part of the glasses club, one of its founding members. He follows the anime; Meganebu very closely and idolises the characters as though they were real people. He also happens to be on the student council, despite being lazy, Yojiro is a total neat freak and is often in charge of littering in the school, a meticulous and time consuming task that he enjoys.
Background:
Since he was a child, Yojiro has always had an active imagination but he was not always the apathetic person he is now, no. As a child he had an outgoing personality, he was cheery, active and totally dirty. He was like any average boy, he ravished adventure, dreamed of being like his heroes and had a ton of friends. In fact he was such an active boy people often called him rabbit due to his over zealous and energetic nature.
On one dark day there was a storm. Everybody was home huddling in their homes being comforted by their families. Yojiro was no different, his parents sat with him through the worst parts and they watched TV to calm their nerves. When night fell the storm continued on, now however it was the full shibang. There was lightning and thunder, torrential rains and great winds that shattered weak windows with their force. Yojiro's parents tucked him into bed, they read him a bedtime story and kissed him good night.
An hour later his mother came to check up on him to see if he were alright but he was gone. The window was bolted shut, it had a child proof lock so there was no way he could get out through there. The searched his entire room and every inch of the house. They called the police but the storm was too strong for anyone to come out. His parents tried to search for him outside but not three steps from the door was the wind so strong it buffeted them from their feet. They cried all night for their lost son.
The next morning when his parents awoke, the sky was clear, the birds chirped and all was good again, it barely looked like the gale force winds had done any real damage. They woke up to a soft rapping at their door. Hopeful his parents ran to answer it. When they opened the door, they found their son staring blankly at the walls. He was unresponsive and his behavior had been set back so far he was almost a baby. Where once he was kind and sympathetic to the plight of others, now he was apathetic to anyone and anything. How he managed to motivate and continue in school no one knows
FEMALE CHARACTERS
Chibi
Name: Kibamaru, Fanged General of the Northern Faction
Human Name: Chibi "Fang". (She didn't pay any attention to the meaning of the name before she picked it.)
Gender: Female
Age in Fantasy world: 2,100
Age: 17 1/2
Height: 4'11"
Weight: 92 lbs.
Appearance:
Fantasy World Appearance:
Additional Appearance:
Chibi's incisors are very prominent, and they extend further as she feels the need to bite people.
Personality: Chibi's personality can really be described best with only two adjectives, viscous and primal. As the 3rd ranking general of the Demon Queen's army, she's known for her battle tactic, which involves aggressive offensive, and little shown mercy. She often devoured her victims after defeating them, decorating her quarters with the bones of her "meals". She serves the Demon Queen with great loyalty, yet her own hidden desire to surpass her and become the Demon Queen herself has been misinterpreted as lust. Therefore, Chibi believes she's in love with the woman. She's also quite naive, blood and carnage being the only thing she's adeptly well "studied" in, and even that just consists of her mercilessly beating and 'nomming' her opponents.
Yet outside of battle she's normally sated and curious, if not a little blunt. Rather cat-like, with a tendency to nap in warm places, and curl up in cozy/tight areas. She eats quite a lot for someone her size, and has a tendency to bite. A lot.
She prefers women and believes she's allergic to men, and despises there touch, often biting when they do so, or biting just to bite, she gets nosebleeds after prolonged physical contact with any male outside of battle... or when the male in question is being eaten.
Background:
Born of unknown origin, the last thing Chibi can recall is her mother, not her birth mother, but a viscous hell-hound creature of sorts. Though not a hell-hound herself, she resembled one closely enough for her mother to accept her as one of her pups. Their clan existed in the depths of the forest, rumors to some, death to all those who ventured to close to their territory. That soon changed when a nearby kingdom, that recently arose, noted the location of this pack. It's ruler sent brave knights to travel to their place of residence, the humans slaughtering the packs number with each brave quest.
A knight, who's name is unknown to Chibi, rode into her den, his armor a gleaming obsidian, with a large sword he cleaved her mother's head clean off. And then went on to attack the others, Chibi and the knight fought viciously, both barely escaping with their lives. Half dead, she traveled off, growing in power as grief and misery coaxing along the demonification process, finally, she returned to where she grew up, years later, leaving a trail of destruction in her wake. During the time of "Kibamaru's Plight of Destruction" she had traveled through many lands, tearing through villages and people, ending their lives without a second thought to try and ease her own pain. Eventually she traveled back to the place where she grew up, only finding the cursed knight's armor, which she eventually went on to wear, the final straw breaking then, and completing Chibi's demonification.
The news of her "hissy fit" managed to reach the original demon queen, and before long she was invited into her court, serving her time before being given an army of her own to lead. The many battles she fought weren't enough to sate her, greed had grown in her heart, she claimed her own land, "Kibamaru's trench" and decorated it's territorial barriers with the bones of her victims, her horde which she kept hidden quite impressive.
Despite her infamy and power, the demons' reign over humans began to fall once more, and Kibamaru's army diminished, only the select loyal few staying with the general in her trench, when the next queen was picked, Chibi was sent to serve as a guardian for the girl, her first guardian. Feelings of revenge and jealousy were confused for lust, and Chibi found herself believing that she was in love with the queen, despite the feeling actually resembling jealous spite. Yet and all she serves as one of the Queen's closest protectors, she holds a particular hatred for Victor, who is close to her queen as well, and who is also a man.
Death shall come to those who dare try to strike Chibi's love, Aruu~!
Katsumi
Name: Katsumi (Japanese: "Victorious Beauty") Marizuki ("Rebel of the Moon"; could be wrong, though.)
Gender: Female
Age: 16 3/4 years
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 144 lbs (mostly muscle weight from Kendo training and athletic activities).
Appearance:
Additional Appearance: Katsumi has a black-ink tattoo of a three-pronged spiral on her right shoulder with a gap in the center; it was placed on her at birth by her father, and she wears a silver necklace tied around a blue crystal wolf's fang; it sers as a good luck charm.
Personality: There is one word that fits Katsumi perfectly; spirited. She tries to find excitement and amusement wherever she goes, and always looks at the positive side of things. It is nearly impossible to sadden or depress Katsumi, but she is easily angered. Some may say that Katsumi's morals are a bit off-balance, due to her reputation of performing questionable acts, although they are mostly done with good intentions. Another trait of hers is that she is a sucker for good-looking people (male and female alike), and can be very gullible under certain circumstances. Katsumi's values usually revolve around her family; if necessary, she would be willing to do anything for her loved ones . . . even betray them if she feels that it is in their best interest.
Background: Katsume is the eldest daughter of three. Her father is an elderly Shinto priest, and her mother is a florist who owns a popular local flower shop. As the oldest child, she always believed that it was her job to look after her two other younger sisters, Akemi and Asami, around the shrine and at their mother's store. Never had Katsume known anything but the love and affection she received from her parents and siblings; a perfect family, some might say. From an early age, Katsume was always told by her father that she was special and destined for great things, and that one day she would bring much honor to the Marizuki name.
While her middle sister Akemi was being trained by their father to inherit the shrine, Katsume and her youngest sister Asami attended the standard schools in their local area in order to obtain the education almost every other Japanese youth possessed. While Asami was a straight-A student, Katsumi's grades were mostly average, and she only seemed to excel in a few specific courses (which involved foreign languages (English, for example) and almost anything with history); however, she is a star athlete and a skilled Kendo duelist. Her parents did not particularly mind her grades not being the same as her younger sister's, for they were proud of Katsume's own achievements (such as winning 1st place at the regional Kendo tournament three years running). Even at high school, Katsume acts as the overly-protective elder sibling of Asami - who is often bullied - and her mere presence is enough to send such thugs fleeing.
Now, well into her Junior year, Katsume spends her time mostly with her mother at her store after school, or at the school's gym to practice her Kendo. Lately, she has had to shrug off many gentlemen callers (and a couple ladies) due to her recently-blooming beauty . . . something she does not particularly understand nor care for. However, she is always seeking to impress those around her, especially those whom she finds pretty or handsome. One day, she hopes to become a professional athlete, but until then she simply spends her time enjoying herself in her hobbies and with her family. Hopefully, nothing will disrupt her plans for the future; that would be terrible . . . but fate has an odd way of changing such plans.
Miyuri
Name: Lillianna Demente
Human Name: Miyuri Kisakiaku
Gender: Female.
Fantasy Age: 262
Human Age: 17.
Height: 5'4
Weight: 109
Real World Appearance:
Fantasy Appearance:
Personality: Lillianna, or Miyuri, is about as mighty as her title. Raised to be queen, she carries the persona of one. Even though she is born and bred a demon, she is as proper as any royalty. However, her temper is far sharper than any normal queen. She's rather stubborn, expecting her royal treatment whether someone's prepared to give it to her or not. Quick tempered and bossy, bringing glory back to the demons of her homeland is her greatest wish and she will stop at nothing to achieve so. She has an extreme distaste for humans, especially the hero, that seems to push her buttons more than any opponent she has ever had to challenge. To her subjects, she is as strong and powerful as a leader should be but in reality, she's quite foolish and lets her pride often step in the way of her better judgement. Also, since she is royalty, she can be rather naive towards common things that normal people have to deal with: such as cooking her own food, and tending to her own common problems. Anything other than this is an outrage.
A Queen is Born
- In a kingdom with no name, in a section of their world that did not exist, demons were a shadow of a name. They were once a glory that stretched across the land, supplying brutal battles and shaking stories to the humans that took the prominate name. But once the last king had fallen, the name of demons was just a child's tale to keep naughty children in their beds at night. They were crumbling, becoming a fallen race with no glory or grace to their names, waiting for their new ruler to be born. Much like the human races where heros are born, the supreme demon was also born into their position through the color of their hair and eyes. When a child was born with the hair and eye color of their previous ruler, they were said to be the next chosen ruler. Sometimes the child of the ruler would be the one to bare their genetics, but sometimes this just wasn't the case. In this time of despair for the demon population, the child was not his own. Fifty long years passed until the child that would be raised to be the one to repent for their fallen state was born. She was to be queen and lead the demons back to their former glory in this ongoing battle between the demented and the mortals of the land.
Taken as a babe from her birthed bed, she was raised to be a mighty ruler just like the demon king before her. As their land crumbled and starved from their lack of practically everything, pressure was continously placed upon the princess's shoulders until she would rise to be queen. After hearing of her people's sufferage, her taste for humans grew more and more bitter. All the slaughter on both sides of the land seemed more than fair to regain their lives back. There was no more fair living or just regaining of land. The humans would fall to know the misery of her people.
Crowning
- When Lilliana reached her teen years - which would be about 180 in demon years -, she was royally crowned a queen in order to prepare for her first battle. With being crowned a queen, she was gifted her first guardian, whom would be named as Kibamaru - a infamous beast and general of the demon land whom had been around in the time of the previous ruler. They would reign in their first battle together that she had been raised and trained for to note that the demons were once again rising to claim their former glory, as well as much more. The battle was small, something easy for a first time. They took over a small farmers' town, setting ablaze their homes and livelihoods, thieving their crops and cattle. The feeling of satisfaction boiled in her blood, seeing humans fall beneath her people that had struggled for so long for her crowning. She was queen now and long she would reign.
Lillith
- Years passed and as Lilliana grew, so did the former glory of the demons. Lands were being taken, homes were being destroyed then built back up under the demons' colors. She could feel the satisfaction of her people pulsing through her, but as their glory grew, so did the speculation of the coming lore. Every time a demon ruled, a hero was soon to follow to slash down the demons and lead into an epic battle to decide a victor. Usually demons were banished back into their corner of hell, becoming shadows of legends once again. But this time she was the second queen in the line of demonic rulers. Lilith, the first queen, was one of the only rulers to truly send humans to the edge of the earth. For once in thousands of years, demons seemed to be rising to be the dominate race. But just as victory was theres, the queen was rumored to have fallen in love with a mortal. Lies and legends say that there was perhaps even an affair with the hero at the time, but Lilliana often ordered books burned with this ink splattered on the pages. She would not be tricked and weakened by humans like her precious queen. She would be the song of victory her people deserved.
The Hero
- And once the hero was announced to have risen, she could feel the rage come into her to reign and be the story of success against humans. When he was old enough for his first battle, naturally the demon queen was present to see who this boy was. With a tisk, she laughed him off, which was perhaps one of her biggest mistakes. She expected the battlefeild to kill him, but the legends proved true, he was mighter than any normal human. Naturally, as most tales of demon and human battles, the war raged on and there were many occurances and run ins with this hero but every time she even merely glanced at his face, she could feel her disgust building. She would see this hero fall, and without the option of it being the death of her.
She would reign with glory to her name.

They were once a glory that stretched across the land, supplying brutal battles and shaking stories to the humans that took the prominate name. The Flower Princess
- Hundreds of years ago, in a humble and small village, there lived a child. There was nothing special about this child, she was born in beginning of the third month, just as the buds began to sprout, she had no wonderful gift or talent, nor did she come from extreme poverty or wealth. She was just a simple child, residing in a simple village, and living a simple life. This specific child's name had faded over time, but what she had done would never be forgotten.
You see, this child's village lived by the edge of the forest, often worshiping the spirits that resided within the mystical trees. They were very in touch with nature and the earth beneath their feet. However, even if they were in harmony with nature more than any others, everyone was warned to keep out of the forest.
However, everyday, after the afternoon bell rung, this little girl would walk by the edge of the forest, curiously peering past the bush in effort to spot the magic of the spirits that lived in the forest, that were the forest. She would bring water to the plants that were deprived, transfer one to another, the edge of the forest became her own little garden. Except, it wasn't that little.
The child would cut the flowers that she grew to sell them around town, be it in bouquets or individual. She soon gained the title of "The Flower Princess." Everyone loved her flowers, and soon, the child's business grew and her flowers were soon high in demand throughout the village. So, with the high demand, the Flower Princess had to take from the forest, using the unique flowers that she never grew. The villagers loved them, asking for more. And so, the Flower Princess gave them more.
As the child grew older, entering her youth, she continued to wonder about what was in the forest and why the elders always told her to never go in there. One day, she decided to explore the forest, telling herself it would only be a little walk, she would be out of the forest before anyone even noticed. So, the Flower Princess, with her signature woven basket, took her first steps into the forest.
Stricken by the beauty of the forest, the Flower Princess spotted many different species of flowers, stopping to pick a few each time, her basket was soon full. In little time, the child realized it was getting late and she had stayed much too long. Turning around to head back, the Flower Princess found herself lost, unable to find the right trail, or even find a trail, that she came from. The trees seemed to loom over her, trapping her within the forest in a never ending maze.
The Flower Princess ran, tripping over the roots of the trees and almost bumping into bushes. But, she continued to run within the forest. Then, she spotted little lights floating about in the darkness of the forest. They seemed to beckon her towards them, calling her name as if they were the villagers, searching for her with their torches.
Quickly hurrying towards them, the Flower Princes called out to them but as she approached the lights, they disappeared, leading her deeper into the forest. Each time the Flower Princess followed the lights, she wandered deeper into the forest, farther and farther away from the village. Then, coming to an opening, the Flower Princess collapsed in the field of flowers. She was cold and tired from running around, waving to the lights in hope for them to be the search team that was out looking for her. But, every time, as usual, they weren't.
As the child's eyes drifted shut, the soft lights appeared around her once again, but this time, she could hear the voices clearly. Multitudes of them, their words mushed together as if thousands of people were in one room. But, before she could make a sentence out of any of the words, the Flower Princess fell asleep in the field of flowers.
Emerald Gift
- Decades later, the Flower Princess' body was never found, but the villagers never did try to look for her. The moment they saw her footprints going into the forest, they stopped and knew that their Flower Princess would never come back to them. She never did in the end. After all, when the forest was torn down and the small village was replaced with a much more busier city, the people had come across the field of flowers, finding a large tree with a corpse attached to it. The corpse of a child.
But, the Flower Princess never died, she had just simply, moved on. Taking the form of a spirit, the Flower Princess was given the name Rahma. Rahma of the North for she reigned from the North, the lands of the snow. But, why had the Flower Princess not simply move onto the Afterlife? The answer is simple, as everything else in this story is, Rahma never died. The Flower Princess never died, she simply moved on, with a gift.
No longer was she simple, no longer was she plain, she had a gift. The Emerald Gift. Given by the nature spirits, the Flower Princess was killed, as punishment for taking from the forest, but she had made others happy with those flowers, she cared for the earth as if it were her own. The nature spirits saw and knew that the forest that they lived in would be torn down, so they gave the little Flower Princess a small gift.
With the spirits of the forest then made their home with Rahma, the creatures and life that once lived and formed the forest was now Rahma. Rahma was the forest and the forest was Rahma. Then again, a forest will never die, no matter what, remnants are always there, trees will continue to expand and spread. So, Rahma lived. Wandering the world in a never ending circle of life. Giving and taking from the world, keeping in balance with nature.
The Demon Queen's Offer
- Then, as the world continued to spin, life continued to grow, and Rahma continued to exist. Hundreds of years passed by, many times Rahma grew bored of the equivalent and constant exchange between the world and herself. She soon took into the habit of passing by villages and causing rumors to wander about, most of them forming horror tales and some even affecting the culture of that village.
Wars occurred, revolutions were taken place, everything continued to work as Rahma continued to yawn. It was unexciting, regular, the same, constant, even boring! But then, she came. The woman that would change Rahma's existence and the life of all else.
Lucinda Demente. The grandmother of the current Demon Queen. Extending her hand out to Rahma, Lucinda offered many riches and glory to the spirit, in hopes of taking over the world, which she soon succeeded in. Of course, Rahma had rejected the offer, riches and glory were worth nothing to a spirit, she couldn't use it for anything anyway.
Then Lucinda offered to make Rahma a general, to become a companion, even the extent of friendship. Ths is what caught the spirit's attention, she would be interacting with the people, have power to rule over them, and more. To that Rahma agreed.
Still to this day, Rahma serves the Demon monarch, following her leader and his or her chosen offspring. Even if it means entering a whole new world.

??? Character
Jo
Name: Johnny
Human Name: Jo
Gender: Male (Fantasy), Female (Non-fantasy)
Age in Fantasy world: 26
Age: 17
Appearance:
Fantasy World Appearance:
HE stands at exactly 6 feet, and weighs about 145 lbs.
Additional Appearance: He never opens his eyes. She doesn’t either.
Personality:
“Nyahahaha! I sure hope I’m not…CAWsing too much trouble!”
A curious dark mage who specialises in crippling his opponents to nothing but helpless puddles of mush, Johnny is an unfitting member of the hero’s group of companions. He is always seen with a wide grin and eyes that never open, his true emotions unknown. Though, as far as anyone knows, everything he does gives him nothing but pure joy, ranging from baking treats down to roasting his targets alive. He enjoys making friends with crows, and makes jokes related to them, sometimes even arriving to the scene surrounded in a flock of crows, and generally obscuring every other person’s view. He is extremely talkative and cannot be stopped when he gets into a conversation. Ask him a question and he’ll answer with a 2 minute reply.
He really doesn’t care about gender or age, as long as they are living, and he expresses a lot of interest in anything that bleeds really, that most of the crew relate to him as that guy with the "blood…and the magic…and the blood magic”. He has a very strange laugh of “Nyahaha!”. All of these traits carry over to his ‘real world’ persona, making him…ahem…her even more odd. If that was possible.
Background:
“No one comes out of the Dark Tower alive, mate. The Master would have killed you on the spot.”
“Oh, I wouldn’t worry about him. He’s dead as dead can be. I’d like to think my curses and hexes finally got him, but he just kicked the bucket. Nyahahaha, you should’ve seen his face when he started frothing in the mouth and yelled at me to get his medicine, but it was simply too funny to miss out on the fun. When I was done studying his death, I guess it’s kinda too late for his meds. Nyahaha!”
“Oh, so the Master is dead? Praise be to the Gods! Then, who might you be?”
“Oh, an aspiring dark mage. I was his apprentice. Too bad I only got a year out of him before he kicked the bucket. Huh, seems to me that it’s been happening to every teacher I try to get. It’s been like, six now, that I’ve gone through? They keep dying from some dumb thing like heart failure or rectal cancer or something. Why can’t they die from face melting or something, hey? Nyahaha!”
There was really no reason why Johnny could have ever thought of being a dark mage. Well, you know, besides the fact that his entire village was razed to the ground by a couple of pirates. When the neighbouring villagers scoured the torched ex-haven, they found a young Johnny, of 15 years of age, standing in front of his house, looking at the door through his unopened eyes. When asked what he was doing, he turned to the others and said, very calmly, “I can hear them.”. The villagers attempted to put him in an orphanage, but he simply shrugged and gathered his things and a bunch of books which survived the pillage, and set off, the smile he wore that day never coming off. He vanished for a good ten years, four years where he spent his days honing his skills with the arts of magic, in order to somehow do something with his frail body. Those four years were immediately followed by a sudden obsession with dark magic, turning his honed power into something more dangerous, more lethal than ever. Six years of travelling the earth, studying the arts of hexes, curses and death-dealing spells, he eventually came across the Hero battling against the same pirates who razed his town. Smile unwavering, eyes unopening, he proceeded to drift in on his flock of crows, and felled the pirates one by one with his magic, taking much glee in ripping them apart and causing them to explode in the most gory ways possible while chuckling in mirth. On seeing the Hero’s ability with the sword and hearing of his ideals, Johnny gave his signature laugh and went on to tail the Hero, no matter what the others said. He has been quite the asset with his extreme magic prowess.
