Scarlet has a tall and slim athletic build with dark brown dyed hair and pair skin to contrast with her dark eyes and features. Her skin is marked with scars from fights and and a few freckles dot her face. Her daily clothing is quite layed back and she incorporates her own style into her uniform by wearing gloves and necklaces.

Personality:
Scarlet keeps to herself most of the time because she finds it hard to make friends or get along with people. She seems gloomy, quiet and gothy to anyone who hasnt gotten to know her enough. She has a tendency to act cold toward new people and an unnerving habit of glareing at someone before talking to them.

Once you get to know her she is kind,smart and helpful with anything that may need to be done. If she has friends she will trust them fully and be there for them even if it means protecting them from getting hit.

Backstory:
Scarlet was brought up in england with her single mother and younger sister, Mary. As far as she knew her father was dead after a fight with his nemesis a few days after Mary's 2nd birthday, She was the only one of the both of them to inherit the family power and name 'Lark' After the first of her family to fight for justice and died protecting innocent people.

3 years ago she moved to japan to get way from bad name her family had gotten for going missing often and never turning up again. Her little sister hated moving but after a while got used to it and made a lot of friends compared to scarlet who had one good friend for a while till they turned up dead.

Scarlet swore from then on to protect the innocent like her family had for generations officially becoming 'Lark'. She applied to UA as soon as the spaces were open and aced the try outs.

Quirk:
-Hawk sight. This allows scarlet to see a great distance and focus on a far way target. When she uses this ability, her hearing is reduced so someone coukd sneak up on her while shes aiming her bow.

Hero Costume:
Her costume is not the usual superhero look. It consists of an old army jacket, black corset, Lightweight black pants and Gold/Black goggles on her head. Usually seen with a Gold quiver or black sword sheath on her back.

Scarlet identifies as asexual with no interest in love as of yet

Nickname: Squishy Boy, Baldy (neither by choice), Mano, or Mano the Bonafide Bad Ass (He’s the only one to call himself that so far.)

Hamano is a slightly tan Japanese native. He’s quite skinny regularly, but, despite his lack of muscularity, he has an aura of confidence around him. It shines off him like light shines off his bald dome. ...he literally cannot grow hair. He generally wears sleeveless shirts, sweats, and/ or any form of loose clothing. He almost always wears a set of dog tags with the name “Sama Yoshiiku” on them. Unlike in the picture, he also has red dots on each of his cheeks. As far as he knows, they serve no function, but they stay on his face even when he transforms.

From a first impression, the first words to come to mind when describing Hamano are likely “foul mouthed.” A little more time with him probably won’t make the impression any better. He’s arrogant, quick to anger, and often rash; he definitely has some issues in the morality department. Hamano tends to be quite the pessimist, and he’s cynical when it comes to other people. He always up for a good fight, so he seems like your average punk from the ghetto.


However, he is trying to change, and he’s quite the quick learner when he applies himself. The burdens of his past weigh heavily on his shoulders, but he’s not one to give up. He’s determined to become one of the best Heroes around, and nothing can deter him from his dream. Along with his many...many faults, he also has a few virtues. He’s extremely loyal, and he’s quite protective of those he cares about.

His greatest fear is that he will never become a hero. Particularly due to bad grades. He’s been told his whole life he’s stupid and will never succeed, and he’ll do everything he can to prevent this from happening. Hamano also fears that no one will take him seriously.

Spoiler: Backstory

Hamano was born in the slums of Tokyo. While growing up he became fast friends with one of the neighborhood children, Sama Yoshiiku. While a bit of an oddball, Sama tended to attract and inspire those around him. He dreamed to one day become a great hero, and Hamano really believed he could do it. Initially, Hamano was an exemplary student. However, his mother died in a mugging-gone-wrong while he was still quite young. This led his father to drinking, and Hamano himself fell into a deep depression. His grades rapidly fell, and he started acting out in class lashing out at those around him. He soon found himself being labeled as a “delinquent” or “undesirable”, and the other students of his year feared him.


Everyone except his good friend Sama. Through some silly antics and persistence, Sama was able to pull Hamano from his depression, but by then he’d already been stigmatized. When he raised his grades again, teachers thought he was cheating, and many students were still afraid of him. This fear attracted the attention of some of his upper class man, and he was soon offered a position in their gang. When he refused, he was jumped in an alley way and given another day to “think it over”. However, with some help and encouragement from Sama, they fought back the next day. Without the element of surprise, the inseparable duo was too strong for the upper class men, and they were soundly defeated.


Both Sama and Hamano’s reputation grew in that area, and they soon found themselves leading a group of their own. They became know as the Jaded Fangs and quickly expanded their range and influence. Sama decided their mission was to protect their district from other gangs, and they even stopped some criminal activity. However, they were only a gang middle schoolers, so, when they stepped on the toes of a real gang, things got messy. After accidentally interfering with a deal, their hideout became the site of a drive by shooting. Due to his quirk, Hamano managed to be one of the few survivors. Sama on the other hand, was not so lucky. Hamano held his best friend in his hands as the life slowly slipped out of him, and he swore that he would one day become a hero and fulfill Sama’s dream.

Sponge
Hamano is basically a human shaped sponge. When he touches a liquid, he can absorb it. Absorbing liquids causes his muscle mass to increase making him faster and stronger. His body also takes on a green hue, and he becomes more spongy making him immune to most physical attacks. However, particularly powerful blows can cause him to release some of liquid he has stored. He can also fire out the liquid on purpose, but this will cause him to rapidly decrease in size. He can also regenerate body parts, but this will also cause him to decrease in size. One downside of this quirk is that Hamano must drink a lot more than the average person just to stay hydrated, and he must be hydrated before he can grow. This also means that he struggles in particularly hot environments as it’s hard for him to stay hydrated. Another is that absorbing any liquids that would normally be poisonous to humans will make him quite ill. The third is that he takes on the properties of whatever he absorbs, so he gains that liquid’s “weakness”. For example, if he absorbed impure water (most water), he would very conductible and therefore weak to electricity.

Hero Costume: Hamano wasn’t really sure what kind of costume would work best. He ended up drawing a pair of black, stretchy pants with a belt that holds multiple metal thermoses. He decided he figure out what the top half looked like later.


Favorite Food: Ramen, but really any kind of soup. It’s a great way to feed him and keep him hydrated at the same time.

Extra: Sorry for being so late on this. I was tagged right before my spring break, and I was actually way more busy than I usually am. (I didn’t even have internet for a few days). If you don’t want anymore people it’s cool, I just had already started on this and figured I’d post the finished project on site so I can find it later.
