Name: Sojuro Hiruka

Nicknames: None

Desired Hero Name: Herring

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Appearance: Richard is above average for his age at 5”10’ and he has black hair. His eyes are blue and he is a moderately attractive person. He has a skinnier build, and has glasses with a rather small frame

Hero Costume: His suit is created like fish scales, it is rather shiny and covers his entire body. His suit also has razor sharp fins that can come out of his arms on the suit. It is designed to look similar to a fish.

Personality: Sojuro sets high expectations for himself, and is determined to reach them. He isn’t someone who will give up, and is liable to fight until he can fight no longer. He is essentially a stereotypical hero type, and one to fight for truth and justice. He wants to succeed and do well, however he does not react well to failure, and he can be quite headstrong. Sojuro will blame himself for failures even if it wasn’t his fault, he is hard on himself, as he sees it as a way to improve.

Backstory: Sojuro was born to a happy family of two fishermen. His father did not have a quirk, however his mother had a weak power that granted her the ability to manipulate small amounts of water. Sojuro was not the richest growing up, but out of that need to grow grew his obsession to help others. He trained and trained until one night he unlocked his quirk, he was ecstatic and saw it as a step forward in helping people.

His parents are very proud of Sojuro, and hopes he does well for himself. Sojuro May have conquered his quirk, but he has not yet conquered Heroics, but he is determined to become he next top hero.

Quirk: Consensation allows Sojuro and his clothes to turn into water for eight seconds, before he has to wait another eight seconds before using his ability again. When using condensation he can manipulate his body into any shape, however will return back to his original shape once it is over. The more he uses this ability the more he feels small memories go away, this disturbs Sojuro, and he tries not to have to use his ability. If he overuses his ability too much he could lose snippets of more major memories.

Super Move: Tidal Wave- Sojuro turns into water and densifies himself as much as he can, before slamming into the enemy.

Items: Journal, Encyclopedia about fish, Small gutting knife.

Skills/talents:
Due to Sojuro trying not to use his power often, he has trained extensively in martial arts and is highly skilled in hand rob hand combat.

Sojuro is not great at math, but is really good at writing.

Other:

Sojuro likes to eat fish.

The Organic Weapon Hero: Grim

hibiki.jpg
The Persona

Name:
Hibiki Kato

Nicknames:
Hibiko, Kati,

Desired Hero Name:
The Organic Weapon Hero: Grim

Age:
15

Gender:
Male

Appearance:
Hibiki is a shortish young often standing at only 5'4" and weighing a variable mass but his default weight is 122 Ibs. He has a messy head of pure white hair that art its longest reaches just mid way to his nose, and he has deep red eyes. Although Handsome he has an aura of intimidation to him. His body is quite variable due to the nature of his quirk, during combat he etches purple lines to decorate his body with.
The Ego

Personality:
At a glance Hibiki seems like a very serious, dour, and intimidating young man who speaks curtly and bluntly. But in reality he is a very shy and awkward young man who has a bad case of anxiety and shyness to overcome. Hibiki has resigned himself to play the edgy teen archetype which is why he speaks as he does even though it gives him anxiety and feels awful to say. He lacks confidence in himself but he has the drive to improve and better himself as he wants to be a pro-hero that would inspire others like him. Hibiki is a very intelligent young man as he has to to make use of his quirk. Hibiki is scared of losing control of himself.

Backstory:
Hibiki was born to Pro-hero parents. They were often out of the house and Hibiki being the independent child that he was was often left on his own even as a young child. Hibiki doesn't remember much of his early childhood due to memory lost at a young age after learning his quirk. Self-Organic manipulation a powerful and hard to learn quirk due to the complexity of it. But once he started learning it it became second nature to him. Other kids found his quirk weird and gross and his quietness due to his memory loss during pre-school weirder so he was often the target of bullying and harassment from classmates. He were always shy and awkward apparently but this bullying made him anxious and shy until middle school where he decided to become as edgy as people think his quirk is. But he was driven to become a Pro-hero like his parents and make a name for himself and maybe one day not be as edgy as people want him to be. So in middle school he worked hard to get into a Hero school, which with his quirk shouldn't be too hard.
The Super Ego

(soon to be) Hero Costume:

tumblr_p4s82sn9T81ux6av5o1_1280.png

Quirk:
Organic matter Creation: Hibiki can change and manipulate his organic material into organic weapons and tools. For instance he can decrease his mass and create giant wings to fly, or create new denser bones and use them as weapons, or convert sweat into stomach acid or even into opiorphin, if it exist in the human body Hibiki can use it to his advantage it is a powerful and flexible quirk but one with some major draw backs. For instance Hibiki needs to be eating constantly or eating high calorie foods to keep up with his quirk's demands and he needs to understand the chemical formula of the things he is creating to create it if he doesn't it becomes worthless organic mush.

Super Move:
True Form: The reality of the fact is that Hibiki is not truly Hibiki. He is in reality a viral biomass that has taken the form of a human, the original Hibiki's quirk was that he accelerated the evolution of anything inside him. It just so happened that one of the billions of cells within the original Hibiki had a quirk due to the hasten evolution of Hibiki's cells. This quirk was Organic-manipulation and replication. Due to the cell being just a simple cell it used this quirk to quickly change every cell in Hibiki's to mostly itself with enough variation to keep the original host's body intact looking. A body with billions of billions of cells that has the same quirk. Due to the conversion of cells Hibiki lost his original quirk and memory when he was 4 years old which thankfully means that Hibiki's mutated and quirky cells cannot manipulate external cells outside the body without major blood transfusion. And most importantly enough for this "super move" Hibiki can go into his true form which is a black mass that can consume any and all organic matter, but this form is costly and is only useful for a few minutes (about 5 - 10) and it takes hours (about 2- 3) to reform back into human form, which this reforming phase is weak and vulnerable.
The Mundane

Items:
High calorie snacks and drinks
Cell phone
Wallet

Skills/talents:
Drawing, writing, studying, CQC, First aid

Other:
Hibiki or anybody really, doesn't know he's just a viral mass. They just think his Super move is a weird thing he can do.

Could you maybe flesh out this a bit more? And add a flaw or two.

Last-Chance Hero
Emvi Square
"This isn't my dream or anything, believe me!"

[Appearance and Costume images in progress]

"Just don't call me a square. Please. I get it, I'm boring, it's not funny anymore."
-- Emvi, pleading with former classmates.

Name: Emma Vickers Square
Nicknames: Em, Emvi
Desired Hero Name: She's caught between either "Pyrrhus" or "Thumper." One is a bit too on the nose, and the other maybe a little too self-defeating.
Age: 15
Gender: Female

"What do you think her deal is?"
"I mean, does she really have one? She looks too boring for that."

-- Two prospective students overheard during the entry exams.

Personality: Though Emvi likes to hope that she's a reasonably average person, a lot of people have pegged her as seeming a little confused the majority of the time. She isn't used to the world of heroes and villains, and for the most part doesn't even want to be among their number. She tries her best (she has to if she wants to stay in school, after all), but it's clear that for the most part she's stumbling her way through life, going with what people say, and (perhaps unintentionally) promoting a rather wishy-washy way of thinking. At the same time, however, she also has the tendency to dismiss her actually good traits; momentary flashes of brilliance are written off as dumb luck, and kindness as mere normalcy.

Backstory: Emvi's life, up until her high school entry exams, was about as mundane as possible.

She was born on the outskirts of Oklahoma City to a slightly above-average mother and father. Despite their quirks--her mother could emit concentrated beams of light, and her father could change the material properties of objects--both lived normal, uninteresting lives with comfortable jobs, neither of which made particular use of their respective quirks. Em discovered her own Quirk in an equally banal way; after flinging herself off of a swing by accident and hitting the ground, she pushed her consoling mother backward with the force of a free-flying child.

After that, however, her Quirk went relatively underutilized; she wasn't the sort of person prone to getting into fights or getting hurt, and since her Quirk was entirely reactionary, it was almost as if she didn't have one in most circumstances. Not that this was a bad thing--all Em wanted, really, was to live the same sort of comfortable life somewhere in a comfortable suburban home, going to work every morning and coming home to watch television and play videogames in the evening. Her shot at that went bottoms-up when her entry exams began to roll in.

She wasn't an idiot, that much was certain, but she hadn't tried all that hard. Maybe she expected life to just work out in a normal sort of way. Maybe she neglected her studies out of sheer laziness; hard to say, and the girl herself is far too embarrassed about the whole ordeal to want to mention it to people. What was clear, and still is, was that her Quirk was her only ticket into a half-decent high school.

Her parents didn't want her to be faced with the prospect of becoming a Pro Hero. Even Emvi herself didn't particularly want that. But with her only other opportunity being a lackluster public school career, followed by what was likely to be a lackluster community college career, followed by a minimum-wage (or close) job, Emvi forced herself to bite the bullet and take another round of entry exams, this time for every hero academy she could find online. Strangely enough, Whitewater Academy, a "long shot" school for her (even despite recently falling to spot number 2 as far as Hero Academies went), somehow sent an acceptance letter. Seeing as it was the most prestigious school on her (small) list of acceptances, there was no reason not to attend.

So, the fearful Emvi Square packed her bags, said goodbye to her equally fearful parents, and shipped herself out to Whitewater.

"Basically the same as a roller-coaster."
-- Emvi, responding to an "explain your Quirk in one sentence" exam prompt.

Kinetic Potential: Emvi's extremely durable body stores any and all kinetic energy exhibited upon it as dormant "potential" energy; she can then apply that force outward again, manifesting it in the form of increased strength and speed. Any feats beyond what her body would be capable of normally drains away her stored kinetic energy, eventually returning her to "neutral." In other words, the more hits she takes without punching back with equal force, the stronger she gets--assuming she doesn't pass out from the pain first.

Super Move: Net Positive! After staying engaged with an enemy long enough to build up enough potential energy from their attacks, Emvi releases a haymaker strike, expelling all the kinetic energy she's got.

"...Oof, that kinda looks like hurts, didn't it?"
"Well she did get back up again."
"Only to fall back over, but yeah, sure."
--
Whitewater teachers overheard reviewing her entry exam performance.

Items: None, though she hopes to find or have someone build some sort of device that can "warm her up" prior to a fight, so to speak.

Skills/talents: Emvi has no particularly extraordinary talents, which is likely part of the reason why hero work is her last chance at a good job.

Other:

-- Emvi likes videogames, and has translated her game knowledge into a rudimentary understanding of her own Quirk; she'll generally consider her ability as the ability to "build meter" in order to unleash "burst damage."

-- Despite enjoying videogames, Emvi doesn't know much about the hero world. She knows a few pro teams off-handedly due to licensed videogames and cartoons, but ask her any trivia, and her mind goes totally blank.

-- Emvi is a surprisingly quick thinker, though she usually keeps her ideas to herself.

Basics
Name: Kimi Rivers
Nicknames: Kim
Desired Hero Name: Cheer, Idol Pink (Undecided)
Age: 15
Gender: Female

Abilities
Quirk: Telekinesis
Kimi has the ability to use telekenesis with some concentration to move around small objects hovering them off from the ground. She can use the ability in various ways such as 'throwing' objects and the like.
Super Move: None Yet
Skills/talents:
Cooking - Kimi is an excelent cook able to swiftly handle cutting up the various ingredients and creating dishes with ease.
Planning - Kimi has a pachant for planning things out. Given a clear head she can careful devise ways of achieving her goals.

Personality
Kimi is a rather soft spoken girl. She tends to come off meek, often being shy around others. When coaxed and more use to people she can be a little more open being up for conversing with people though she tends to prefer not to talk too much. When she gets excited about something her normally shy side can often times vanish and she can show a much more confident air about her, something that often is seen when she cooks. She can be a sweetheart, often showing concern for others often causing her to go out of her way to address someone in distress. She tried to maintain a upbeat mood as much as she can around others once she gets past her shy side. She shows herself to be quite intelligent able to quickly pick up things should she put her mind to it.

Kimi does tend to have issues in being around others often making first impressions much harder then most. She often feels out of place when talking to others if she can't find some common link to connect with them. She has a general lack of self confidence not believing much in herself only being fueled on by her need to help others. She can be quite meek often allowing others to walk over her showing little resolve to stand up against someone even if she feels it is right. She can be quite fearful, electing to hide away if something scares her.

Background
Kimi was raised by her reclusive mother Annabelle Rivers in a rather peaceful rural area. She spent much of her childhood away from the world being kept home schooled. Her limited exposure to society left her to spend a lot of her time doing things on her own, in part fueling up her eventual taking up the hobby of cooking for fun and spending a good bit of time reading books. She has had very few friends during the years she grew up, with the few she had eventually drifting away from her as time passed out.

Kimi saw her quirk as a way of helping others. Developing it further on her own she eventually decided to get into an academy to take the next step into becoming a hero. For her, the notion of going to an academy was a great way to finally be around others her age and to make perhaps 'friends'. It was her chance to get out of her shell and change the world.

THE TRANSFER HERO: INFLICTION

IT ISN'T AS BAD

Name: Daario Rubenz
Nicknames: Darry, (To-be-added throughout RP)
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Staff role: Homeroom Teacher for 1A
Personality: Daario exhibits an almost unnoticeable presence; though he's actually not a softspoken person. He has an impressive handle on his temper and an awful tendency to let mischievous acts committed by his students or folk under his age slip by with just harmless warnings, even if it meant he'd gotten hurt from it. Many would describe him as a push-over when it comes to social interactions; which is true, because he believes that its easier to let those who want to lead lead, and he just follows to see how it goes.
Apart from his semi-submissive attitude and terrible case of self-degrading humour, he truly loves creating familial bonds and the concept of kinship is something that he values above all.
Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of one-to-one combat with a knife
  • First Aid / CPR
  • (To be added)
Talents:
  • High pain endurance
  • Doing wheelies on his motorcycle (for a long time, that's pretty impressive right?)
  • (To be added)

AS IT

Appearance: A lanky but mildly-toned man with a mop of soft, feathery raven hair. Daario's eyes are pale shade of black, bordering to almost an essence of grey when light gets into his eyes. There's a deep scar that begins between the space of his brows and runs down his nose and ends at its tip.

He often adorns coats with long sleeves and long trousers in an arrangement of cool to warm-colours. Beneath his clothing are almost endless sets of healed-over scars or recent ones, none going too deep.

Hero Costume: Daario lacks a signature hero costume but when he does get glimpsed by the media when he's assisting in an emergency, it's observed that he always wore variations of tank-tops and knee-high shorts with sneakers.

Items:
  • Swiss army knife
  • Motorcycle keys
  • Container of painkillers
  • Bandaids (an inhumane amount & inside wallet)
  • A wallet (with only small change in it)

LOOKS

Quirk Type: Emitter
Quirk Name: Pain Transferral
Data: Allows the user to transfer the sensation of pain from their own injuries to someone within visual range. Only the sensation of pain will be transferred, not the actual wound. The quirk’s effects will stay for as long as the injury remains unhealed on the user’s own body, or can leave if the user wills it to. If the user wills it to leave, the sensation of pain will return to the user’s body. The user can only transfer their own pain, whether its mental, emotional or physical.
Drawbacks: The more pain transferred, the more energy will be used, and the more tired and drained the user will be. Their chances of faster recovery will be reduced.
Strengths: Useful for both long-range and close-range combat. Can be used to bring enemies down quickly- but at the cost of the user’s health. Ill-advised for endurance battles (can be used, but at the cost of user’s energy and health).
Weaknesses: If used too recklessly, the user may forget that they have injuries on their bodies and not seek medical attention in time.

Super Moves:
  • (To be added)

REALLY.

Background:
  • Eldest brother & father figure to his 4 other "siblings"
  • Lived in an abusive family environment, where their fosterparents often manipulated them into participating in their llegal schemes or act as "punching bags"
  • Raised enough money to live on his own and take his brethren with him -- only one out of four came along
  • Despite not having a proper start to education, he'd managed to skip a few years and graduate
  • He worked in daycare centres and orphanages the first few years after graduation, along with studying to become an English teacher.
  • His career path changed slightly when he'd help apprehend a mutant-user when they had broke into the apartment a few doors down and murdered a mother and fatally injured a father of two twins
  • Though he's received his license as a proper hero, he considers it as part-time or casual work.

Where there's smoke there's not always fire - Thomas Lindhal

General Info

Name: Thomas Lindahl
Nickname: Tom
Age: 15. Born on the 17th of March
Gender: Male

----
Quirk: Smoke
Thomas can create smoke and manipulate smoke. He releases the smoke by exhaling (he can also remove smoke by drawing it into himself) and has full control of the density of the smoke and what area it covers, but it has some severe drawbacks; even if most don't affect Thomas. The smoke is toxic as a result of the chemicals that make it up, it also deoxygenates the space it occupies, but thankfully Thomas can breathe the smoke as if it was air. Another problem is that the smoke is rather hard to see through and it only gets worse the denser the smoke is, and not even Thomas is immune to this, quickly losing track of his target in the sea of smoke.
Super move: Non yet

Appearance

Appearance: Tall, pale and skinny. Thomas often finds himself being one of the tallest guys in the room (at least when it comes to his age range), as he stands somewhere close to 5'11. Thomas has blue eyes and red hair with a few lighter wisps here and there, and to call his hair unruly is an understatement. Wild strains have a habit of poking out all over the place, and there is no fixing it, no matter how much Thomas beats it down with gel or wax. (He has debated wearing hats.)

Costume:

----
Clothes: His usual style consists of black jeans, a single colored t-shirt, and a shirt or jacket.
Height: 180 cm.
Weight: 68 kg.
Hair Color: Red.
Eye Color: Blue.
Scars: He has a scar just above his right eyebrow.

Personality

Personality:
Thomas's most defining traits are his loyalty and fidgetiness. Tom is quite the energetic guy, finding it hard to stay motionless for long periods of time, often getting quite fidgety if he has to remain still and focus on something that he finds boring. Despite this fidgetiness, he can devote hours upon hours of his life doing just one thing if it manages to capture his interest. He will always strive to do better than last time, and anything below amazing is a failure. Tom is loyal to a fault. If he thinks you are to be trusted, that you are a friend, he will come to your side no matter the situation. He is carefree, friendly, but maybe a bit too naive. He thinks that everyone is good deep down, and gives everyone the benefit of the doubt, even if it has come to bite him in the ass two or three times before.

Likes:

+ Coffee, the darker the better.
+ Sleep
+ Rain
+ Flowers
+ Video Games

Dislikes:
- Fish.
- Sour candy.
- Blood.
- Thunder.
- Very spicy food
- Romantic comedies

Strengths:
+ Quick learner.
+ Loyal.
+ Determined.
+ Immune to the effects of smoke
+ Has a quirk

Weaknesses:
- A bit of a perfectionist
- A bit fidgety.
- Insomnia.
- Not a fighter.
- Stubborn.
- Easily flustered.

History

Backstory:
There is no such thing as love at first sight; it is just a saying people use to fool themselves into believing that mister/misses right will come along one day. That one day they will get swept off their feet into some love story that rivaling even Romeo and Juliet. But, that day won't come, at least not for 99,9% of us. However, lust at first sight? Now that's a bit more believable, and Thomas is the proof. But let's get this back on track.
----
Thomas was born the 17th of March, to a woman named Julia Lindahl, a woman with no clue of how to take care of herself, let alone the baby she had just brought into the world, but that didn't mean she was going to give up her little miracle. Every day had its own set of challenges, but by the time Tom started kindergarten, his mother had turned her life around. She worked her butt off, but Tom never needed for anything. They had a roof over their head and food on the table. It was by no means a life of luxury, but it was enough.
----
As he grew, Thomas kept asking about his dad, wanting to know everything there was to know about him, who he was, what he worked as, and what his name was. But around age 13, Tom stopped asking; slowly learning that his mother had no info to give him. She could describe his father as a tall, handsome man, with blue eyes and brown hair, and then the next day he suddenly had brown eyes and blonde hair. It hurt knowing that he would never meet his father, the chances of stumbling across a man his mother couldn't even describe were astronomical, and so Tom learned to live with it.
----
----

Important life events:
----

The manifestation:
The first time Thomas's quirk manifested was a few weeks after he turned three. His mother blew out a candle and as Tom waved his hands towards the smoke and the smoke mimicked his movements. Thomas's mother was a bit baffled as her quirk was to emit air and she was 90% sure that Thomas's father had a tail, so smoke wasn't really what she had imagined for her child. But hey, it was better than nothing.
----
A breath of not so fresh air:
Up until the age of seven, Tom's quirk had been registered as the ability to influence and control smoke. However, during a fight at school he had the air knocked out of him, but instead of air, smoke came leaking out and quickly coated the playground. Since then Tom has gotten better and better at emitting smoke, as well as controlling just how much that seeps out.
----
Applying for school:
Tom had never seen his quirk as something useful to becoming a hero, but where was the harm in trying? It would make his mother proud, and if things worked out, his future was sorted.

THEME(S):

CODING BY CYCHOTIC

All three are accepted.

And most importantly enough for this "super move" Hibiki can go into his true form which is a black mass that can consume any and all organic matter, but this form is costly and it takes hours to reform back into human form. Let alone the social and moral implications of this form abilities.
Make this supermove last for a smaller amount of time.

Quirk: Smoke
Thomas can create smoke and manipulate smoke. He releases the smoke by exhaling (he can also remove smoke by drawing it into himself) and has full control of the density of the smoke and what area it covers, but it has some severe drawbacks; even if they don't affect Thomas. The smoke is toxic as a result of the chemicals that make it up, it can be hard to see through, and as if that wasn't enough, it also deoxygenates the space it occupies. All these factors make Thomas's smoke into quite the obstacle for friend and foe alike. But, with the right equipment and/or quirks, they are merely inconveniences.
I'm a bit confused about this quirk, is Thomas immune to the side effects of the smoke? I'm assuming he's immune to the toxicity of it, but can he still breathe even if the area he's in been deoxygenated by it? . And can he see through the smoke?

Name: Mei'a Tenebris
Nickname(s): Mei, Dark Dark(it's an injoke with friends)
Desired Hero Name: The Blinding Mist, Umbra
Age: 15 (...By technicality.)
Gender: Female

Appearance: Calling Mei'a anything but short would be a lie, really. She stands at a mere 4'10, and given how her dark brown hair almost looks forcefully flattened on her head, it's pretty clear she's not growing further. Her eyes match quite well, even if it alongside her pale skin makes the swirled face markings above and below her left eye more obvious. After the short height, the second thing people tend to notice is that she lacks anything directly attached her shoulders whatsoever, her now completely blackened arms having permanently detached to float next to her. A careful eye might be able to tell that it's almost seeming borderline between being solid and gaseous with it having a very slight shifting of form, but still staying tangible. Aside from that, her scrawny body is pretty basic aside from how toned her legs are from lots of use.
(soon to be) Hero Costume: Honestly, for her it's just tossing on a cloak over her body and calling it good for right now. She doesn't really have much thought put into this yet, and frankly, isn't sure if she even will.

Personality: Mei'a isn't very... expressive, to put it bluntly. She's not dumb, but emotions don't go to her like they does to other people. When people would be extremely happy, she can only express a slight satisfaction. Being infuriated to her is just irritation. But given how tactical and patient she can be, it's clearly just her being incredibly reserved with her emotions. She's also not able to communicate well, considering the strange looks and lack of actual interaction.. She's quite adept to making on-the-fly shifts in her plans, be it minor or major.

Backstory: Mei'a is a somewhat strange person, and being born on the 29th of February might have something to do with it, if you asked her directly. For the most part, her life as a child was uneventful. She didn't seem to have any sort of quirk at the time, so she had been raised as if she was quirkless. It wasn't until the next time her to-the-day birthday, rather than just mentioning it for a lack of February 29th, that this was all thrown out the window. She felt almost humiliatingly sick, but still made herself power through the day instead of resting like she should have.

When she woke up the next day, she wasn't sure if she was awake because of the darkness she woke to. A feeling in her mind wasn't quite one she was familiar with, so she began to suppress it. She couldn't get it out entirely, but she could feel relief as the darkness eventually shrunk to a much denser form around her shoulders. Or rather, as her arms. She didn't seem afraid of it nor was her father, but her mother was absolutely hysterical over it. Her daughter actually had a quirk! Things didn't last long between her and her mother, and soon the mom was pretty much forced out of the picture.

With a less than sane mom out of commission, her father had to effectively pull double time on raising his child. He did it well, but he struggled, naturally. Already at her fourteenth birthday he had planned for her to be going to U.A., and by her fifteenth, she had caught wind of it and fully agreed with the notion. It'd definitely be helpful in the long run, and she knew it.

Quirk: Dark Mist
Her quirk is... definitely curious. Her body is able to produce a strange mist of unknown substance, and she can control it however she wants to. Given her lack of natural arms and the constant activeness of her quirk, she keeps it in the form of what's pretty much arms floating next to her. They can be used as arms, yes, but also something like blades, to blind someone, restrain them, defend herself... There's certainly a lot of uses. Of course, she has to focus on it a good amount of the time to make it do things, and she knows it could be extremely dangerous if she doesn't focus on it. She's not affected by it aside from whatever effort it takes to make it do things.

There's no real day-night difference, before the question gets brought up. It's strange to see something blacker than black during the day.

Super Move: She doesn't have any sort of super move. Yet.
Items: None.
Skills/Talents: Despite how weird it sounds at first glance, she enjoys using the malleability of her quirk to play the piano. Being able to strike nigh impossible combinations of notes with ease is useful. She's also an okay chef, but someone with a food-based talent would definitely be better.
Other: Mei'a is a complete pro-hero geek, but keeps it closeted. Knowing every little detail about people could be useful in case some sort of event pits her against them in a fight.

I'm a bit confused about this quirk, is Thomas immune to the side effects of the smoke? I'm assuming he's immune to the toxicity of it, but can he still breathe even if the area he's in been deoxygenated by it? . And can he see through the smoke?
Yeah sorry, that was terribly written. I have gone over it now to make it a bit more clear. He is immune to the toxic effect of the smoke, and he can breathe it as if it was air, however, he can not see through it. Planning to have him wear some binoculars that can search for heat-signatures as a part of his costume, to at least give him some way to fight within it.

Hope that helps.

The Organic Weapon Hero: Grim

The Persona

Name:
Hibiki Kato

Quirk:
Self-Organic Manipulation: Hibiki can change and manipulate his organic material into organic weapons and tools.

History

The Hi-Frequency Hero: Velox

  • Name: Arya Yasuhiro

    Nicknames: None

Hero Name: The Hi-Frequency Hero: Velox

    Age: 28

    Gender: Female

Staff Role: Hero Basic Training Teacher

Personality: Arya has a rather quiet and serious demeanor, but she breaks out of it more often than not. She is friendly to everyone she meets, both in and out of costume, and has a soft spot for young children. Despite her kind nature, she's tenacious and headstrong, able to stay calm under pressure.
When she's passionate about something, she can be a little overbearing and pushy. This is especially true for her students, to whom she has high expectations for. The more she likes a class, the tougher their lessons and training will be (she sees it as a compliment). She's patient, however, and never gives them more than they can handle.
It's very rare for her to be angry, but when she's at the end of her rope her disposition changes to cold and intimidating. As kind as she is, she never holds back on punishment where punishment is due.

Backstory: Arya is the first Pro Hero in her family line, being the only child of two working parents with rather minor Quirks. She always admired heroes for their selflessness, and once she discovered she had a Quirk, there were no doubts about what she wanted to be when she grew up. Her parents, understandably, were concerned about her. Arya was always a small kid and they worried she would get hurt in some way, so she suggested that she take martial arts lessons. The training helped her become stronger as she learned to control her Quirk in ways that would support her fighting style, rather than the other way around. Through hard work and determination, she earned her hero license and became working as a Pro immediately after graduation.
Being a teacher was something she never saw coming. It felt so right to hand in the job application that day for Hero Basic Training, and she's never regretted her decision since. She misses being on missions sometimes, but now she has a responsibility to train the next generation of heroes.

Other: Arya smokes occasionally on breaks and in between rescues/missions. Her dad was a smoker and the addiction was hereditary. She's trying to quit however, since it's bad for her health and unbecoming of a hero. Her fingers twitch whenever she gets cravings.

Name: Tsurei Fukayashi
Nicknames: LandMaster, Earth Queen, Terra
Desired Hero Name: I'd actually like to be a villain; Meteora.
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Appearance: (Either a picture or a description works)Dark Brown hair covering left eye, pale skin and a tall skinny but lean build, commonly wears jeans and a short sleeve t-shirt. Blue eyes. Quite beautiful, 5'10. 129 LBs
(soon to be) Hero Villain Costume: Long pants with knee guards, a standard black shortsleeve shirt with a bulletproof vest and knuckle guarded gloves. Gasmask

Personality: Abit hateful on society but rational and collected, she has no qualms about hurting enemies brutally as long as they don't die and keeps to herself as to not draw attention, Overestimating often in other's abilities due to needed to expect the unexpected to survive, also a sad soul at heart with little social skills.

Backstory: A common street kid who grew up questioning heros and wants to reform society so hero's aren't just given immense amounts of money, fame or recognition but protect because it's the right thing. Due to this she isn't as far lost as other villains and doesn't resort to murder. She has made a name for herself as a powerful anti-hero/villain and is not to be trifled with. She has gone most of her life just moving along with very few interactions.
Most of society argues who actually this earth wielding terror is. She has some affiliation with villains and is quite loyal to her kin. The villains who know her refer to her as Meteora. She grew up as an orphan and had no friends or family. She sees heroes as corrupt and aims to infiltrate a school and change the society from within. She doesn't expect to succeed and thinks her idea is stupid and hopeless but goes with it anyway, a girl can dream.

Quirk: Earth, Geokinesis, Geo-manipulation, Geo-creation, can create, manipulate and move rocks, similar to how todoroki in the anime could do with ice.
Her quirk is widescale on a destructive level and can be used as armor to cover herself, She can create mass amounts of rocks and change their shape to create weapons or just send a mass attack similar to how todoroki could in the anime, she however cannot uncreate any rocks and therefore if she uses it too much in a small area it will take up space. However limiting the use and not creating large amounts in a small room is a simple bypass of this somewhat weakness. Her rocks act like normal rocks and have similar strength, density and durability of rocks which means they can be brutal due to being heavy and hard and can possibly be used as a defense.

Super Move: (A particular named tactic using your quirk) Final Meteor, creates a coalescing mass of rocks in the sky in the shape of a meteor and sends it hurling to the ground.
Items: (anything your character normally carriers with them) Knife, Villain gasmask.
Skills/talents: martial arts, skilled in combat due to having to grow up fighting.
Other: None.

Name: Daisuke Oshiro
Nicknames: None
Desired Hero Name: Jet Lashmha.jpg
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Appearance:

(soon to be) Hero Costume:
Personality: There is an alliteration that will describe Daisuke in a nutshell: Bold and Brash. Oshiro isn’t afraid of backing down from challenges no matter how dangerous, or possibly foolish it may be. He wishes to know every one of his strengths and weaknesses, and cannot stand the possibility of never being able to answer the question of “could I have done that?”.
In general, Daisuke is pretty extraverted and sociable, and doesn’t have trouble initiating conversations with other people, and is usually very open on what was on his mind. Another one of Oshiro’s traits is the fast pace of his thinking, being able to make mental use of whatever is before him. However, this is offset by his lack of patience. He will immediately rush into situation based on whatever conclusion he has already drawn, without thinking about the long term consequences.

Backstory: Daisuke was born into a family five, having one older sister and a younger brother. Daisuke has always made an effort to discover all his natural talents. If he was skilled, he would pursue it, if not, he’ll move on. At one point when he was a younger kid, he even figured out how to dismantle his mother’s hairdryer (It was never put back together though).
This pattern of thinking is what led to him joining Whitewater Academy. IT was found that his quirk was a fairly powerful one. Oshiro wanted to be a hero for a long time in his life, ever since he was little. And since he already had a pretty good quirk, becoming hero should come naturally to him….right?
At one
Quirk: Shock Wave
A medium ranged emitter-type Quirk. When Oshiro inhales air, he can gather air around his forearm, allowing him to release a powerful blast of air. The longer he holds his breath, the more powerful the blast, but also the more exhausted he’ll be once it is released.
Super Move: Vibe-Quake
Uses his Quirk on the ground at full charge, creating a blast at a wide radius. This, however, can harm allies as well as enemies.
Items: Wallet
Skills/talents:
Moderately skilled in boxing
Heavy Lifting
Climbing
Drawing

Dante

  • Name: Dante de la Cruz 4c1ed1be3189c2b41cb177bef26191b3.jpg

Nicknames: Blood Sucker, Freak, Dracula, Nosferatu, Vampire, Devil-child

Desired Hero Name: He hasn't thought of one yet. Frankly, he'd just be happy if people stopped calling him a villain...

    Age: 15

    Gender: Male

(soon to be) Hero Costume >>>

    Personality:
If you listened to half the rumors that surrounded Dante, you'd probably think he was a Grade A delinquent. From fighting, to attacking students, to basically being the one person none of his classmates wanted to be around, yeah, he sounded like a monster. However, most of that is untrue, and what isn't is a facade. Dante acts like a hardass because it got people to stop picking on him. In truth, he's not half as much of a delinquent or a brute as you'd think. He's the kind of boy who regularly looks after stray animals, and even now has three formerly stray kittens, a raven, a corgi pup, and a young german shepherd living in his apartment that he has adopted. To most, though, he comes off as a quiet observer, rarely being one to drum up a conversation with others.

Name: Shira Aoiko

Hero Name: Ink
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Staff Role: Hand-to-hand combat teacher.
Appearance:

Hero Costume: The one on the left but with no heart cut out.
tumblr_ownexsRL0H1uixpnvo1_1280.jpg
Personality: She isn't very outgoing, but she is a kind-hearted person. She can be a bit callous at times but if she cares about you, you know. She is firm but fair with her students and pushes them to their limits. She will give you the shirt off her back but if you hurt anyone she loves she will destroy you no matter what it takes. She loves helping people but she isn't afraid to tell people what she thinks either, she doesn't know how to sugar coat things at all.
Backstory: Shira was born to a Quirkless Mother and Quirk-having Father. Her Father could draw things and have them come to life, his name was Pain Brush. Shira thought she was quirkless until she got her first tattoo at 16. She got an octopus on her thigh, then one day at school some of the other kids were picking on her for not having a quirk she got so mad that tentacles sprouted from her limbs and she ended up trapping some of the students. She was so happy that she immediately let the kids home and raced home to tell her parents. When she got home she ran into the living room to see her parents dead and covered in blood on the floor. Apparently a villain that her father had be persuing found out where they lived. She went to the nearest tattoo shop and got several tattoos and ended up taking a notorious hero killer down by herself, becoming a very well known and respected hero. While attending U.A her internship was in the urban areas so she had to learn combat training as well and she excelled at it.
Quirk: Tattoo Manipulation, When Shira Tattoos herself the tattoo she puts on her body give her powers. For example if she tattooed wings on her arm she could tap into that tattoo and gain the ability to fly but only for a few minutes. The more she uses her tattoo, the quicker it fades and once it fades she cannot use that power again until she re-applies the tattoo. She can only use one power at a time. If she uses it too much too often whatever part of her body has the tattoo becomes extremely painful for a few hours. Almost feels as if there are broken bones but there is not.
Tattoos and associated abilities:
Sparrow- Shira can fly short distances (roughly 100 feet at a time)
Happy/Sad masks - Can alter someone's mood, can make them calm, angry, happy, etc.
Lion - Enhanced strength
Spider - Can climb walls easily
Flames - Can eject small bursts of flames out of her hands
Red cross - Can heal minor injuries or sustain major injuries long enough for proper care depending on how much it was used.
Scorpion - If Shira scratches someone they become paralyzed for 60 seconds and are in extreme pain
Diamond - can make her skin hard as diamonds in help lessen blow of attacks.
Items: None
Skills/talents: Art, can paint and draw extremely well. Has had advanced hand-to-hand combat training as well.

__sainokami_ika_ryuuou_no_oshigoto_drawn_by_gyozanuko__6cba261207dc8e87d1bd8af857001cb0s.pngName: Stella Cain
Nicknames: N/A
Desired Hero Name: Buildup
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Appearance: A slender young lady with a sharkish grin.
Hero Costume: A labcoat, just like, draped over whatever she happens to be wearing.

Personality:
Woah woah woah, asking a beautiful young lady to describe herself like this is definitely too forward. But, lucky lucky, Stella Cain is of a generous heart. The daughter of a pair of maybe-criminals, but do-gooders none the less, Stella is of a demeanor much cruder than that of the average hero. Her attitude towards criminals is casual at best, and her regard for taboos both social and cultural are non-existent. On the other hand, she has the spirit of an entrepreneur, the American dreamer, or whatever you want to call it. The drive, the spark to improve oneself and strive for something greater.

Or something.

She hasn't really put much thought into it.

In her deepest depths, Stella is a creature of instinct. She does what she wants, and if she can't do it she makes it so she can. What she wants to do just so happens to be becoming a Pro Hero, but it's not something she owes to a streak of saintly compassion or awe-born inspiration. To say it's just "Because it's cool" is definitely too shallow an asumption, but her motives for becoming a hero are definitely rooted in more personal desires than 'wanting to save people'. Outdoing her sister? Maybe. Upscaling the family business? Possibly. Proving her worth? Potentially. All of the above? Yeah, probably, with some extras, even.

Really, she's not entirely sure herself.

Backstory:
New York. Down a back street. Hiding in an alley. Open a door, and then another. The third in the hallway. If the nameplate is labeled "Cain's", then you've come to the right place. Open both the door and your mouth, the ears of has-been heroes will listen and do your deeds for dimes.

But that's not why we're here.

Eye the door at the back of the room, it's quite starkly labeled 'Private'. You won't be able to pass through, but imagine for a moment. Every now and again, the door clicks open and a ladder is revealed. To the upper floor. Definitely seems like an illegal modification to the structure, but it's old to the point where complaining won't do any good. Head up, and find yourself in an apartment. It's nice enough, if not a little outdated. Still not done yet, though. Go from the living room and into the door closest to the window, open it and...

"Oh, hey. Welcome!"

Whether you're a friend, stranger or enemy, the same greeting will await you. A bespectacled blonde girl hopping to her feet and eyeing you emphatically, the only ones spared from her gaze being the family she shares her home with.

Congratulations! You've found your way into the home of Stella Cain, the second of the Cain siblings and daughter of the enigmatic Cain Duo. Self-described "Heroes turned Hired Help" who put their experience-learned talents to use to "aid the little guy". And their wallets. Their youngest daughter, Stella, lives just above their maybe-illegal business, left to her own machinations. The elder sister happens to be exist a mask of her own, one that lives five blocks down the street, calls itself "Breakdown", and does as it pleases. The youngest, in contrast, is quite the opposite. Definitely the weaker of the two, she perhaps is more inclined to admire the supercharged protectors of the modern day. Or, maybe, rebelling against the law just isn't her style.

Regardless, the Cain family is one that covers the full spectrum of the law. The black, the grey, and the white. The youngest, member and dweller of the lightest shade of the law is just as much a self-made hero as her sister is a villain or her parents something in-between. Well, maybe not quite yet. She's still young! She keenly studies old records and pulls apart equally old equipment; Just to slowly and not so surely close the gap in power between her and just about anyone who calls themselves a Pro Hero. And perhaps her sister, too. Her eyes are definitely bigger than her stomach, but whether they're too big remains to be seen.

A dish called Whitegate will be the test of that.

Quirk: Pupil Manipulation - A useless Quirk that allows Stella to manipulate the shape, size, and color of her pupils.
Super Move: "Heart Eyes" - Dangerous.

Items:
  • Database Spectacles - Something like Google Glass, Stella's Database Spectacles, hereafter referred to as D.B, are portable terminals that download and display information for Stella's convenience. Stella uses them in her daily life for things like grocery shopping and cheating on tests, while in combat she uses them to keep an active feed on her opponent's weaknesses and how she might be able to exploit them, though notably the D.B are tools of display, not analysis, so any relevant information must be gathered by a separate source.
  • High Density Knuckle Dusters - A reverse engineered take on the Pro Hero Nighteye's "Super Density Stamp Seals". Stella was unable to refine the size of the weapons down as small a size as the original works so their effectiveness is lessened, but they're still useful enough, effectively doubling the power of her punches.
Skills / Talents:
  • Stella should really be enrolled in an R&D course of some kind. To make up for Quirk's lack of... Usefulness in general, she's invested her time in the study of alternative means of increasing her capabilities in combat. Her skills in both weapon and gadget production are quite impressive, showing promise as one of the future leaders of the field. Her current achievements are more academic than practical, but she does have a few items that she's particularly proud of.
Other:
  • Her sister is a medium priority Villian known as "Breakdown". Despite this, they have monthly text chats.
  • Barely made it into class A-1, and is frankly quite shocked about it herself.
  • Her parents are 'retired' Heroes who do 'odd jobs' for money. Hits, enforcement, bodyguarding, that sort of thing. Don't worry, they have standards. And police buddies.
