Name: Richard "Rishi" Drummond

Vigilante Name: Miss Mystery

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Appearance: Rishi comes from a set of twins, and had the misfortune of looking more like his sister Rachael than she did like him. He was teased for this initially, but his apparent quirklessness soon outshone that for easy targeting. He stands at 5'6" with curly brown hair that he kept at shoulder length mostly to differentiate himself from his sister, who crops it short. His round face is covered in freckles, and is incredibly shy and soft spoken (unless it is a line he has rehearsed, thus his reason for loving theater.)

Vigilante Costume: Rishi wears a standard schoolgirl uniform under a long black cloak made of a mostly indestructible material that can absorb most things, from acid to fire, for most training exercises. Nobody has seen what he wears underneath during serious training and real combat, but if it has anything to do with his powers...

Personality: Rishi would have been a overlooked bookworm had he remained quirkless, being at his peak onstage. He has a strong sense of justice, even though he grew up feeling like he had no ability to act on it. Being very antisocial and a perfectionist, he is embarrassed very easily, which makes his quirk very strong.

Quirk: Shame. The more embarrassed he gets, the stronger he gets. (For now at least, embarrassment is the only way he's found to activate his power.)

Biography: Rishi grew up believing he was quirkless. With no outstanding features or abilities, both he and those around him eventually gave up on him. He moved on with his life, finding a new passion for stage theater, eventually taking the lead in a play (Romeo and Juliet). However, another boy became bitter and jealous of Rishi because he was playing opposite the female lead, who happened to be this boy's crush. Just before the play, he bribed multiple members of the cast and the director to create the perfect storm; the lead actress called in sick, and her understudy was already covering for someone else. The director could barely hide her mirth when she informed Rishi that in order for the play to go on, he would have to take over for Juliet on the day of the performance, due to him being the last person who both knew the lines and looked the part (to which he took offense but that was ignored.) On the day of the play the embarrassment was so overwhelming that when the time came for him to collapse in Juliet's death scene, he actually broke through the stage, the school's ground and into a hollow in the foundation. The few hours he spent inside the cinderblock divot allowed him to realize the source of his awesome (if not also awkward) power. He has come to terms with this, and struck a deal with his sister and his parents: Rishi will go to highschool and take on a hero persona as his sister, in order to have a valid reason to dress as a woman (and therefore be embarrassed, activating his powers) at all times. He pretty much hates this, but feels compelled to become a hero regardless. Over the course of his highschool career, his sense of self slowly melted away, and when he was unable to secure a hero license, he was unable to accept that he gave up so much for nothing. He has resorted to vigilantism, and in order to cover the costs works at a cafe, resulting in minimal sleep and a finely tuned mental imbalance that allows him to launch himself into his hero work without reservations.

Vigilante Costume
vigilente_spiderman_by_mrkmhtet-d566pwg.jpg

Face is covered by a thin red fabric that he can see and breath through. The mask covers his entire head and is pulled on much like a ski-mask ensuring he doesn't drop any hair fibers when he is out and about. He also has gloves made of the same material to ensure he leaves no finger prints behind. His clothes are very common, jeans, tennis shoes, t-shirt and a jacket with a hood. He also wears a beanie and sunglasses [which makes it annoying difficult to see in the dark at times] but it allows him to pass by people at night without them realizing he is wearing a mask. If he feels someone is looking to closely at him, he will pull the hood over it. His outfit meshes with his character very well, it protects his identity and helps to ensure no dna evidence is left behind and, best of all, it is cheap and functional.

Personality
tumblr_muh13hadt41qzpumyo8_r1_500.gif

Cynical || Dedicated || Abrasive || Distant || Warm

Thanks to his career, Ken has seen the worst humanity has to offer and has seen it far too often for him to be anything but cynical. He doesn't believe everyone is out for themselves, but enough of them are that it has tainted his trust in others and faith in the integrity and kindness of strangers. While he thinks some people can be redeemed, can change, he doesn't think it happens nearly often enough to give someone the chance or benefit of the doubt. The entire idea of 'benefit of the doubt' is a laughable notion to him at this point. There are plenty of horrible people around without people enabling them further as such, he normally assumes people are lying and doesn't trust them to keep their word, and it takes quite some time before he begins to trust others to any sort of degree, and if that trust is ever betrayed, it is never offered again. Despite believing the worst about the vast majority of people he meets, Ken is very dedicated to his work. He throws everything he has into whatever he does, be it patrolling the streets at night, investigating a woman's husband for infidelity or listening to the dispatch as he keeps an ear out for his old friends in blue. Throwing everything he has into his work has always been his blessing and curse. There are few people who work harder then him, who will put off their own personal lives and dreams for the sake of their believed purpose and fewer still who could do it every day for the rest of their lives. However, it is also burning him out both physically and mentally. If he wasn't so invested into his work and cases, he wouldn't be so cynical of others, if he wasn't so invested in the truth of the matter, he would still be working as an detective. He barely gets any sleep and rarely finds the time to eat which doesn't help his mood. He is quite certain that he is going to burn out in the next few years and die to some punk in some dirty back-alley and no one is going to remember him, but until that day, he has work to do.

Ken can be rather abrasive, this isn't just because he is overly dedicated to his work to the point he pushes everyone out of his life or his incredibly cynicism, but also thanks to his coping method. He has a very strong sense of humor able to smile or laugh at just about anything, but that humor is often turned against people around him as he uses sarcasm and dry wit to better get a grasp on what is going on around him. When he is nervous, he makes jokes. When he is scared, he makes jokes. When he is embarrassed or nervous, he makes jokes. When he is sad, he makes jokes. There is a fairly obvious trend and he tends to rub people wrongly especially if the subject matter is very sensitive. To make it worse, Ken doesn't really care if he hurts someone's feelings or offends anyone as if they don't like it they can either develop a thicker skin or bugger off, he doesn't particularly care which they pick. He doesn't mind pushing these people away as Ken prefers it. While he doesn't mind working with others, that is about as far as he wants the connection to go. The closer people are, the easier it is for them to drive the knife deeper when they, inevitably, let him down and, in his line of work, it becomes exceedingly more dangerous the more people he has to look out for and as much as he is willing to take a bullet for someone, he'd rather avoid that fate if at all possible. His abrasive nature just makes it easier for him to put up, and keep up, that wall from any new people to his life. His family, and what friends he had before being fired from the department, have long since been shoved out of his life. But, at his core, Ken is a warm person, he'd have to be to do what he does and not just be some psycho who enjoys hurting people in the name of 'justice'. He hates seeing people in pain and goes out of his way to help people, often, doing so in ways that won't come back to him as he loathes awkward thank yous, or heaven forbid, hugs. This isn't just in his nightly activities of prowling the street to save people in trouble, but showed in his old job and his sheer dedication to catching the criminal to bring families closure and in his current work as a PI where he will often lower the cost of his services, sometimes waving it completely, if the person asking truly needs his help and isn't just yet another jealous spouse wanting conformation to the question they already know the answer to.

Quirk
Object Gigantification, ability to massively increase the size, and so mass, of any objects [but not himself or living beings]. The most common way he uses them is with thrown objects, usually the coins he keeps in his pocket. Right before they leave his hand, he drastically increases the size of the object and so, while to him he simply threw a coin, to his opponent, they now have a massive hunk of solid metal ranging from the size of a plate to a building flying at them. He can throw other objects and control the size of what they are to scale with the strength of the person he is fighting [Wouldn't want to kill someone by accident, after all], but he finds coins to be the most convenient. This is also where his vigilante name comes from, not his first choice, but it was what the news ran with and so, regardless of his feelings on the matter, it stuck.

Biography
Ken comes from a long line of cops, it is something of the family tradition. His mother was a forensic analyst and his father was a beat cop, his future in law enforcement wasn't just encouraged, it was expected. But along with this, came a distaste of 'heroes'. The public attention hogs that got their kicks from the spot light and fighting ornately dressed 'villains'. His father, and mother, both hated heroes, they considered them nothing more then pest who often got in the way of real police work, and when Ken joined the force, he agreed with them. While they had their uses, they were, as he all too soon found out, in it for the money and the fame. When their antics failed, when people died because they couldn't do their job, it wasn't they who spoke to the families of the deceased, it wasn't the hero that told a mother that their little girl wasn't coming home tonight, no, that went to people like him, the real law of the land.

The resentment of the heroes was a common argument within the force, some enjoyed them believing it made their job a bit easier, others that they were nothing more then self-centered egomaniacs who care more about reputation and sponsors then protecting people, Ken was, obviously, part of the latter. It didn't help that anytime he did achieve something, such as the shattering of a criminal empire led by the Baldini family, it went by unnoticed in favor of the Silver Shadow's new biography that was coming out. Ken never tried to hide his opinion, even if it became an extremely unfavorable one that came to head during his investigations into a certain major hero. There were allegations of the hero using his fame to mask his illegal activities from a heavy drug use to using his fame to use underage girls for sexual favors. When ken tried to look into it, he was blocked, constantly, by his superiors. When he tried to get a warrant, he was turned down by every judge. Finally, Ken was given an ultimatum, either he dropped his case or they dropped him. They got his answer the next day when Ken approached a major news outlet with his evidence. Ken was fired that afternoon while the hero was given a slap on the wrist for his actions, hero envy, that is what the keyboard warriors said it was. An effort to drag down a hero who, may, just may, have gotten a little off the path of justice due to stress, but nothing more.

After being dismissed from the force, he took up the only job he had the skillset for, private detective. Despite the nice name and ring it had, it isn't nearly as glamorous. He spent most of his free time investigating spouses or finding runaway teenagers. Still, he was good at it. It was during one of these cases, chasing down a teenage girl who ran away from her home to be with a 'misunderstood bad boy' that he took up vigilantism. It seems while he may have been a 'misunderstood bad boy' his friends certainly weren't. Using his power, he saved the girl and crushed the budding street gang. It... felt good to be doing right again, to have a purpose in protecting and serving others again. He could have attempted to become a hero, but no, he was far too old to easily apply and, more to the point, he hated heroes. Hated the institution it had become. So, he took the very, very slightly more palpable route of vigilante. No fame, no money, just doing what he thought was right with no rules or regulations.

As much as I love the concept I'm going to have to ask you to change this part. I don't think having a nearly indestructible costume is very balanced.

I can change it if you'd like but it's not meant to be the ultimate defense, it's just meant to not be destroyed. Really all it can do it stop bullets (most villains wont use than but i can change that if ya want) and is flame resistant. The point was to make sure it doesnt get destroyed on accident and reveal his actual costume until it's plot necessary.
Edit: I've modified it to clarify it's just durable, not a magic shield or something.

Vigilante Name:
Gluttony

Age:
Twenty-one

Gender:
Male

Appearance:
458fc57cbfe65552f91f381dec360d73.jpg

Rinka is an effeminate young man standing at roughly 160cm and weighing in at about 54kg. He possesses chin-length snow white hair, a strip of black amongst the locks, extremely pale ivory skin, as well as pitch black eyes with rings of white that encircle the pupil, giving him a rather manic expression.

Vigilante Costume:
As the vigilante known as Gluttony, Rinka pairs a black dress shirt with pinstripe black pants, completing the look with a knee-length white hooded trench coat, a white tie, a black mask that covers the lower half of his face and a pair of black leather gloves, making for a striking yet oddly enough forgettable sight, as though he simply blends into the background as another nameless face in the crowd.

Personality:
Rinka is an energetic and optimistic young man who has the constant drive to improve his cooking in order to satisfy his customers, mostly due to his strong relationship with his adoptive father, who had been a chef himself. He aspires for nothing more than the happiness of the people around him, and while he believes the best way to go about doing this is through his food, when cooking isn't enough, he's willing. to use other means to accomplish his goal, even if it means risking his own well-being to do so.

Quirk:
Food - Rinka's quirk allows him to bite, chew, and digest anything that he's able to come into direct contact with. When he uses his quirk, it does not make the him feel filled up at all which does have the rather nasty side effect of making him always feel hungry. Furthermore, his ability to eat anything does not extend to poison, meaning that he will get ill if he consumes toxic substances depending on it's potency. He's tested his quirk out on all sorts of things—ranging from a chunk of an abandoned warehouse to a particularly sharp knife and everything in between—but he's never used it against a living being, much less a fellow human, and there's no telling what might happen if he ever decides to cross that line.

Biography:
Born into a prestigious family of chefs, it was around the age of four that Rinka had developed the innate ability to consume anything and everything he can sink his teeth into. It was thanks to this ability that his latent talent as a taste tester became apparent and he begun assisting people in the culinary industry, feasting upon countless dishes and critiquing them. Though he took his role as a member of the Kurosawa household, he had no passion for cooking at the time. Things changed, however, when he met a certain chef going by the name of Nana Sawada. Upon hearing his stomach growl, an unfortunate downside to his quirk, the kind woman had prepared a dish for him. With just a single bite, he felt an overwhelming sense of warmth and fun from her dish, a feeling never experienced from any other dish he had tasted before. Though her visit was short, Rinka developed a deep respect and admiration for Nana, and still recalls her fondly to this day. Before she left, he asked her if he could ever inspire such happiness in others. Nana replied that so long as he pours his heart and soul into every little thing he does, his goal would undoubtedly be completed. It was this exchange that motivated him into becoming not just a chef, but also a vigilante that hid within the shadows.

Personality:
Rinka is a very cheerful young man, to the point of smiling even when danger is imminent. He is also rather compassionate, wanting to make each and every person that he meets to be happy, even at the expense of his own well-being. While it's difficult to believe, he is actually quite mentally unstable and incredibly self-destructive, believing that he's useless and that the only way he can prove himself as worth something is by throwing away who he is as a person to become what others need him to be. It's as this point that he's already lost his true self long ago, and a caricature was all that was left behind.

Quirk:
Incubus - Rinka's quirk allows him to take on numerous identities by consuming the desires of another person. Triggered by consuming one of these desires, he is capable of adopting the personas all sorts of people—a skilled doctor, a decorated soldier, a celebrated actor—so long as that is what the other person truly desires him to be. The duration of the quirk lasts until the desire fades away, which cancels out the transformation.

Biography:
[WIP]

As a child, Rinka had greatly admired and had always dreamed of becoming one. However, by the time children his age manifested their powers, he still showed no signs of developing any special abilities. Due to that, his parents took him to a doctor from whom he received the news that, while he didn't have the extra joint that marked him quirkless, there was no telling when his abilities would manifest.

Oh man, our characters are gonna be fun to play off each other

Hate to be that guy, but you're not supposed to create your own quirk anyway but rather use this thread to get a random one. I probably should have made that clearer from the start, and I apologize for failing to do so.

Alright. In that case, your character is accepted.

Many thanks. And Honestly I'm kinda sad, Incubus woulda been a really cool foil to my character, but i guess we all gotta roll the dice.

Due to his sheltered upbringing, Ryota is naive, self centered, and insensitive at times but he is well meaning and always looking to improve himself in some way. But without being told how to or why he gets overwhelmed and intimidated and puts it off. He also lacks initiative and always feels like he needs to be told what to do and how to live or else he gets confused and scared and ends up doing nothing if told nothing about anything. Ryota is also very hard on himself often being his worst critic with every small or big mistake he does. But beneath his shy and sheltered nature is one of diligence and a surprisingly strong will. While he is quick to falter at times he doesn't ever give up on something he wants to do, or feels like he needs to prove himself in. He has an excellent memory and analytical mind which at times causes stress and anxiety due to over thinking and panicking but it helps greatly with both small and big tasks he might other wise have trouble dealing with. But due to his need to prove himself he often pushes himself to his absolute limits and might make himself more sick or hurt than he would be other wise.

Quirk:
Healing: This quirk allows the user to amplify and quicken the healing process of those he makes contact with. With this unique and powerful quirk, grievous injuries are healed in seconds of contact. The healing process takes stamina from the receiver equal to how injured they are often leaving them tired after the process of healing is done. If the person's stamina is less than the injuries required the receiver will die from exhaustion and their injuries. Ryota vigilantism is a mix of back alley doctor and generally beating up people to a pulp than healing them to teach them a lesson. Also one major factor of Ryota's quirk is that depending on what body part he makes contact with also affects the rate of healing. Well two really. His lips heal wounds faster and better than every other body part. But due to his personality he keeps this secret since its so embarrassing.

Biography:
Ryota was always a sickly child. He was always either at home or at the hospital. Ryota earliest memories were of the white sterile hospital rooms he often found himself in. So it was rather ironic when his quirk manifested at 4 years old that he could heal everybody but himself. Ryota remembered trying to touch his chest to make the pain and ache go away but it never worked on himself but always those around him. He has a complex relationship with his quirk to say the least. He knew how useful and powerful it is, as everybody told him as such, but the problem was the body attached to the quirk. He was far too weak and sickly to go out and use his quirk on the public. But Ryota always tried to do his best to help those in need when ever he can. He had the heart of a hero is mother used to say before that was shot down by his father saying he had the body of a weakling. Ryota wanted to prove his father wrong.

Ryota's hospital stays was bi-yearly at least sometimes more, but never less than two yearly visit to the hospital for him until he was 14. Where he seemed to grow in strength enough to only go to the hospital once a year. Ryota was confidant enough in his new found strength to even take the entrance exam for U.A.. On the day of the exam Ryota got to the exams and he failed miserably at. He didn't even get 1 villain point and only about 30 hero points, which wasn't close to enough to get into U.A. and his test score for the written portion wasn't enough to get him into even the General studies department. He failed. He failed to become a Pro Hero or even a U.A. Student.

Ryota's life after that point become a haze. He didn't have anything to look forward to after that. Since he had to go to a normal high school and never get a hero licence to use his amazing quirk he had nothing to his name, except for a body getting sightly stronger with each passing day and parents who were either disappointed with him or expected this. Ryota's grades were average so it was unlikely he would become a doctor or even a nurse. That is until he one day started to use his quirk illegally. At first he would close small cuts and scraps on kids and seniors, than he started to do bigger and more serious injuries. But it was during this time he discovered two things about his quirk, one his kisses healed better than a touch of the hand, and two he can kill with his quirk. The former was discovered by accident, when he kissed by a person who found him attractive and it healed their broken leg in seconds. And the latter is...quite unexpected and he doesn't like to talk about it. Even if the victim is a villain. He won't talk about it just yet.

Soon enough, Ryota became a Vigilante. At first he only healed injuries he came across but soon enough villains discovered his quirk and came after him to make use of his quirk for their nefarious purposes rather he agreed to it or not. So Ryota learned how to protect himself with a wooden Katana and to use his quirk to his advantage and what little combat use it has. But he is popular for a vigilante. He even has fan art online. But due to fame he had to don a disguise so he wouldn't be thrown in prison for illegal quirk use. So he donned his Vital Sign disguise. Ryota is a well known vigilante at this point and one that many of the proheroes and police over look for convenience sake since his quirk is just that useful if he stays secret about. But he can only avoid their ire for so long. And Ryota feels like with the recent change in Police commander he might not be able to get away with his vigilante as he is.

Personality:
Takeo is a personality is very complex and has a duality to him. He is generally a very kind and warm person when he makes first contact with people. Make sure to keep himself professional and polite to strangers. He is big hearted and tries to have compassion for the living and the dead. That being said, there always seems to be a slight coldness that follows Takeo around. This comes up in the other aspect of his personality that manifest when he is in danger or in a high-risk situation.

Takeo tries to be the nicest and best person he can. Even with this Takeo is naturally calculating, cunning and analytical person and a fighter. He is able to carefully look past his feelings and see the real situation at hand, which he demonstrates in his everyday life. He is extremely perceptive, able to quickly recognize the patterns and mistakes of others, which gives him an edge both in social settings but also when he is on patrol. This colder and distant part of his personality was lean for surviving.

In battle, He prefers to concoct strategies based on deduction of his opponents' fighting abilities and style, his natural battle instincts are also highly tuned. He often tries to think through his natural instincts, but when he lets them take over he can be very unpleasant and violent. He would sacrifice just about anything to protect his friends and family and thus making him a reliable teammate despite his cunning front.

Takeo has the uncommon ability to shun all emotions and shine a blank slate, thinking three to four steps ahead to clutch the pinch and seize control of the situation. Coupled with his vast intelligence, his detached emotional state is perhaps his greatest asset.

When pushed too far in danger Takeo can become cruel, vindictive, and merciless, retaining all of his intellectual capabilities.

Quirk: Overhaul
Takeo is able to disassemble and then reassemble anything he makes physical contact with, turning it into its original state or a completely different one

Biography:
Takeo was once born as the son of two villains and criminals. One was a master thief who often didn’t care about who he injured to get what he wanted and the other a violent woman, who was sadistic and enjoyed the pain of others. Takeo grew up in a very hostile and unstable household. Pledge with abuse both mentally and physically and taught the art of crime and violence. He also was very isolated, with his closest friends being the child of his parents, associates, who learned to be as cruel as their parents. Often play time would break out into fights or cruel verbal battles. The adults in the room found these funny situations, but also necessary to teach them the art of crime.

When his quick being showcases himself soon seen as a tool and a weapon. They tried to warp and twist Takeo’s mental state in order to make him the weapon that both parents wanted. With plans to make him their second-in-command and build a villainous empire. His mother eventually lost her life in a battle between herself and a hero. His father was betrayed by one of his associated and he was captured. This left Takeo orphaned at the age of 10. Takeo tried to live on his own and fend for himself, but only made it 6 months before he was found and put into the foster system.

He only planned on staying in the system long enough to regain his energy and gather what he needed before leaving. He was very timid and untrusting of everyone in the world at this point. Yet he hadn’t planned on coming to care for his foster mother and slowly, allowing her to change him. The turning point was when she selflessly saved him from falling onto a floor of broken glass at the cost of permanent scars on her arms.

As he grew up, his foster mother adopted him, and he soon took on her last name. He was enrolled in class, where he showed impressive intelligence, even though he was behind most students. Because of his lifestyle as a child and his connection to the more criminal aspects of the world he chose not to become of hero or even considered it. He grew to love psychology and helping in social work. He studied psychology and is currently a therapist. He also cares for his ill mother.

Takeo never intended to be a vigilantly. His first instance of this was actually an accident. He saw a criminal approached a mother and her child and his childhood instincts kicked in. He intervened and put a stop to the thief. After this he felt a sense of both happiness and unhappiness. He soon became a vigilantly because he wanted to help those around and make up for the wrongs his parents made in the past. At the sometime knowing he wasn’t a hero and could never be a hero because of his childhood. He felt that it was a matter of time before he turned to crime because of his DNA and past, so he might as well be a criminal for the greater good.

Name:
Dazai Nemuri.

Vigilante Name:
Pneuma.

Age:
29.

Gender:
Male.

Appearance:
avilio gif 2.gif
Standing at the approximately the height of 6 feet and 1½ feet with a weight of roughly 83kg, Dazai is a man with a slender physique and brown hair styled in a bowl cut. His eyes are the color of a golden amber with dark bags under his eyes, which gives him a tired expression. On his hands are scars that can be found lining up to his forearms, a result of prolonged exposure and use of his own flame quirk. A few more scars can be found around his torso and legs. Mostly healed, though still there. He wears black gloves everywhere.

Vigilante Costume:
The costume that Dazai wears as his Vigilante persona Pneuma consists of a silver, sleeveless waist coat with a black shirt underneath with sleeves rolled up to his elbows, a very loose cravat and a pair of black pants. As Pneuma, he also sports a white domino mask with a hooked beak resembling a crow's beak over the nose and a pair of silver colored finger-less gloves.

Personality:
Dazai is a friendly yet shy and awkward guy, capable of holding his own in a conversation and happy to talk though often finding himself stumbling in his own words. Sometimes stuttering. Though once finding the right topics to talk to with about, he can go on and on, just rambling about it like there was no tomorrow. Often called a 'huge dork' as he's a huge fanatic when it comes to subjects like music, mythology, movies, books or anime/cartoons which he almost obsesses over. When it comes to his essays and work when he was still in college however, he isn't a fan of that. He's the type to do his work and be one of the first people to submit it even if it's half-assed or seeming rushed, deeming it to just be 'enough' and never analyzing any further to check whether or not it's good or bad, then to laze and just relax or do something he finds enjoyable.

However, In spite of his half-assedness when it comes to pointless work, Dazai is a person who you can always rely on to give you advice. Even if he doesn't follow it himself. Which makes him a little hypocritical, though it's hard to argue that he isn't wise in some regard. His sense of humor is often incredibly dry, or self-deprecating in some aspect. He's not very confident in himself or his work, and that shows with his jokes, or his lack of seriousness and self-confidence(obviously). It makes him never satisfied with whatever work he is actually serious about. He's not a very prideful individual. In threatening situations that involve fighting or anything dangerous, Dominic is a coward and the first instinct he has is almost always to just run away. He's easily startled and scared, he doesn't like the dark or deafening silences. It always leaves him feeling uneasy.

Though when he's underneath the mask of Pneuma, he changes. As the vigilante, he's more confident. Almost a different person. Opposed to the shy Dazai, Pneuma is someone who's much more enthusiastic and prideful. He's cheerful. But during his work as a vigilante however, he still retains a bit of that cowardice he has and mainly just helps around doing smaller tasks like stopping muggers or robberies or just the smaller villains instead of facing the big bad and flashy ones in spite of his strong quirk and flashy costume. He still hates silence and the dark. Preferring to keep a look out for the little guy and help the people in his own little way. And he does so with pride and spirit, hoping to become someone's inspiration.

Quirk:
Cremation - The Cremation Quirk allows Dazai to produce potent blue flames from himself, capable of manifesting from any part of his body with minimal amounts of effort or movement. Anything he touches can combust in almost an instant, suffocating whatever object he touched in a blue cascade of bright flames. These flames of his are incredibly hot, much hotter than that of normal flames, which is why they are blue than the usual yellow orange. Dazai is capable of manipulating these flames so long as they are still connected to his person. The way he usually uses his flames are in small tiny bursts of flame to minimize the amount of damage he does to his surroundings, manifesting them in small balls or simple blasts. Another use of his quirk is his ability to use blasts as a way to propel himself forward.

Biography:
avilio 7.gif
Dazai came from a long line of pro-heroes, all of which held flame-related quirks. An example being his father, a pro-hero who had a quirk that had him be able to absorb flames and release them. And as a pro-hero, it meant that Dazai's father had barely ever been home. So as a result, Dazai's mom had been the one that had taken care of him for as long as he could remember. When he did see his dad though, it was either in a video or on the television. In spite of his dad's absence though, his mom would always tell him that he used to really look up to him and would always be with him when he was around, that he wanted to be just like him when he grew. In short, he was like every other kid. He wanted to be a hero. He doesn't remember much of those days.

It was on the day that his dad died that made him change his mind about becoming a hero. He'd died because his teammates had gotten scared off and abandoned him. Dazai had never seen his mom so sad, falling to her knees and sobbing. And he doesn't remember the last time he himself had cried as much as he did. A few months afterwards, he develops his quirk just a few days after his birthday passed. And surprise, it was another flame quirk. This time around, the flames were blue.

At school, everybody told him that he had an amazing quirk for when he becomes a hero. They all expected him to be a hero when he grew up, he had other plans instead. I don't want to be a hero, he'd tell them. You didn't need to be a hero to help people, he'd say. No, he didn't want to be a hero. Such a dangerous profession would eventually kill him, just like it did with his father. And he couldn't bear seeing the sight of his mother crying again, but this time it was because he was being lowered into the ground instead. He didn't want to worry her. So instead, he chose the next best thing. And that was becoming a doctor, so he set out to pursue that instead.

And he did a terrible job at doing so. In college, he would often just do his work without really putting in any effort in and as such, he'd done everything half-assedly. In his spare time, he'd found himself a whole lot of new interests. An interest in movies, music, pop culture in general. He would spend his time watching and listening to all sorts of stuff. It's like he's not serious about becoming a doctor. Because he isn't. He's got no real reason to be a doctor of all things, he had no passion. Thinking about it, truthfully, he didn't know what he wanted to be. He was lost. After college, what would he do exactly? He wouldn't stand a chance at medical school, he knew that. What now? That question embedded itself in his head.

A year after graduating, he had managed to get a job at a local bookstore that usually saw only one or two customers in the span of two weeks. He still lived his mother, despite being about 25 years old now. Life was alright. That was until tragedy struck him. With a flame quirk like his, that's as powerful as it was and as easy as it was control and lose control of, there was bound to be something that happened. Even for a reason that was about as simple as a nightmare. A nightmare about the person who he held the most dear, his mom, dying in his arms while he couldn't do anything. When he awoke, he didn't notice it right away. His flame resistance got in the way(or otherwise he'd be dead when he first used his quirk). Flames engulfed his surroundings. Blue-tinted flames.

His first thoughts were of his mother, sleeping in her room. On instinct, he'd ran out of his room. A flame this big was too much to control, so his best bet was to get his mother to safety instead. His clothes were burning up, though he didn't care. Someone was in danger. His mom was in danger. A scream pierced his ears, and he knew he had to hurry. It was getting hot. Too hot. Too hot for him to resist, so his skin started burning. Busting the door down, he quickly scanned the room for his mom and hurriedly grabbed her. Away from the flames. Quickly extinguishing the fires burning his clothing and still in contact with him so she wouldn't get hurt anymore. He cradled her and started reassuring her that it was going to be fine, even when the heat was getting so very unbearable. Oh god, what the fuck had he done? There was no way either of them were going to get out of this without any damage. The only escape was a window, and he didn't want to think of more options. Dazai charged right through it, quickly turning his back towards the ground mid-air and landed and blacked out.

Waking up in a hospital wasn't so bad. Fortunately, he'd managed to be discharged early thanks to the help of the doctor's quirk. His body had a multitude had a multitude of scars now, but he didn't care about that. What mattered to him was that his only family was still alive. And she was. Not without severe injuries, though. The flames had burned her enough that she'd lost her ability to move her legs, and she suffered a multitude of other things too. She had to be maintained in the hospital. For how long, he doesn't know. He's just glad that she's safe. When she woke up, she called him her hero. No, I'm far from a hero, he thought. He was the one that caused this after all. And because of a stupid nightmare. A stupid nightmare that almost came true. Because of him. But still, she called him her hero. He felt happy.

My hero. The words never left his mind. Maybe it's time for him to stop running from his past. Maybe it's time for him to start embracing it. No, he shouldn't do such a thing. He didn't want to worry her. But... it didn't hurt to try something new, did it? The only question now, is how? He's too old now, he couldn't get into a hero academy at this age. It was funny how your best chance to become a hero was when you're still a teen, he's pretty sure that police needed to be at least 18 to even join their academy. From what he knows, it's rare for someone his age to become a hero. Well, unless he became an illegal hero. A hero who wasn't bound by the law. Vigilante was the term if he remembered correctly. He could try that.

A new vigilante soon appeared. Under the name of Pneuma, he'd embraced becoming a hero. A hero for his mom. For her. And for the people. Dad would've been proud if he was still here. Though he'd be lying if he wasn't scared whenever he went out. But heroes are supposed to smile even when they're terrified, right? So he'll be a hero. Her hero. And if not her, then the people. Or someone. Dazai felt content. He had, in a sense, found something that resonated with him. He'll be her Pneuma.

He'll be her Pneuma.

ahahaha, man, I used Avilio/Angelo as the base for my character in another roleplay, this was weird to see.

Name: Elisabeth Rosa
Vigilante Name: Pan
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual

Appearance
099ce941458ab35d863aa19bbc1b9bc3.jpg

Vigilante Costume
A large black sheep hoodie with white sheep's wool lining the inside of the hood - for comfort. A short skirt, as to allow her to make her legs larger when she needs to either run faster or give someone a painful kick. She does have some slip on shoes, but due to it being easier to make her foot larger without shoes, she often goes about without them.

Personality
Easy going and quiet, she prefers rainy days, isolated bus stops and empty foggy beaches. Dislikes being called cute or baby, though she gets called it a lot because of she looks quite young. She likes sheep, though only plushies - when she met a real one in a farm, she was so scared she went running away from the barn and never looked back. She does happen to be afraid of creatures, though small ones are usually okay. The only large animal she isn't afraid of, if her nana's German Shepard; Patrick (named so because of his stupidity). She prefers comfort to looks and although she would never admit it - the way she dresses often makes her look cuter.
Quirk: Hypertrophy

Biography
Elisabeth was born into a quiet family. She spent most of her time dreaming up stories. Her grandpa was an old movie maker who taught her all the great films. She has always wanted to be a movie directer and writer. Her grandpa and her often go out on quiet, rainy Sundays for a cup of coffee and a film afterwards, sometimes new, sometimes old. But both share a passionate preference for the old school films.
She's never been in a relationship though her friends try and ship her with every boy she meets, in the hopes one will ask her out, but most of them just see her as a little sister. Which she's perfectly okay with. Except, the `little' part.
Elisabeth kind of became a vigilante by accident. She came by with a friend and found herself intrigued. Though the love of movies and movie-making never went, she decided being a vigilante was worth a shot. I mean, whats the worst that can happen?

"I am not cute."

Biography: When he was younger, he always wanted to be a hero. His parents encouraged this and helped him design his future costume design. When he was 15, he applied for U.A., but got rejected. He was so heartbroken and his parents tried to comfort him, but he couldn't be comforted. His only chance of becoming a great hero was gone. He was so mad that he compressed his parents into a ball and left them. He lived on his own as a Vigilante. Saving civilians but whilst doing so, going against the law.

Name: Arthur Shelly
Vigilante Name: Artillery
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Appearance: Black hair, Brown eyes. Arthur is about 6'1 with a medium build but he does have exceptional leg and back muscles from having to withstand his quick for so many years. As an accountant he is typically seen wearing a white shirt with a tie and khakis, unless it's the weekend then he is wearing some kind of hoodie with shorts.
Vigilante Costume: Armored Vest with Camouflage pants and Combat boots, he wears a full head helmet with a removable jaw portion for his quirk.
Personality: Arthur is an even-keeled and kind man who loves to laugh and is typically shy with new people but is extremely loyal once he's warmed up to someone. Much like his family he has a physical and emotional need to help people and is hard-pressed to refuse a cry for help no matter how small. He is generally nervous when using his quirk due to its destructive nature but after the adrenaline hits he tends to get swept up in the moment and lets loose with his quirk.
Quirk: Tongue Tank- Arthur's tongue morphs into an extendable tank cannon. It takes a few seconds for his cannon to reload and there is and audible Ka-Chunk when the new shell is ready to fire. His jaw hinges open like a snakes' when his cannon extends. Making communication possible but muffled.
Biography: Arthur is the youngest of five brothers who all took there quirks in stride, no matter how out-there their quirks were they all found a way to make them work and went on to join great hero programs. Arthur however, did not take to his quirk well. After every shot he would be flown back, after multiple shots his neck and back muscles would cramp like crazy and another drawback was that he was completely inaccurate. All of these drawbacks destroyed he chance of becoming a professional hero so he became the next best thing: An Accountant, a creature of habit he still kept up with his training which consisted of muscle exercises to ease the shock of his quirk, basic hand to hand defense, and every few days he would drive out to the country for target practice. He was content for a few years but the need to help people was too strong so he went to multiple stores to piece together his outfit and hit the streets.

Name: Kanazawa Daisuke (sn, fn)
Vigilante Name: Mitt Mørke
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: 166cm, he’s about 50-52 kg. He has two horns, black and sharp, but they’re somewhat fragile. The right one is broken about 3/4 of the way up because of a time he tripped when he was a kid, and they both are covered with scratches because he constantly bumps them. His hair covers his eyes a little, and he’s constantly blowing it away from them. His eyes are a murky green. He has little tufts of fur on his neck, leftover from his mother’s mutation quirk. The fur is a tawny color, but some white is mixed in. He’s skinny, lean, but still somewhat muscular, ever if it’s not as much as he would have liked. His hair is poofy, and he never can quite control it, but it’s not messy. He has dark circles under his eyes almost all the time.
Vigilante Costume: Black jacket and pants, both made out of a rough material, both with dark grey and navy blue details. The jacket has a oversized hood, with a helmet in it that he can fasten under his neck to keep on. It also covers his face quite well, but he does wear an actual mask, a simple piece of fabric that can disguise his features well enough. He usually has a flashlight hiding in a pocket somewhere. He also has combat boots with the same color scheme as the other items, as well as a belt with the same colours. It looks somewhat plain, but it functions enough for him. The jacket catches the wind and billows up behind him when it’s unzipped, which shows a black shirt. Thanks to the light blocking properties of the fabric, this can create a pocket of darkness that can be used to strengthen Dark Shadow, especially when the sun is out. The pants are tucked into the combat boots.
Personality: He’s somewhat shy, tries to get along with others without talking much. He thinks to much, which sometimes means he stand still when he should be doing something. He trips over himself, shies away from too much contact, and tried to hide in plane sight. He doesn’t like to speak unless he has to, but he has a habit of getting too attached to people, platonically and romantically.
Quirk: Dark Shadow. They’re a dark, navy blue, with yellow eyes. They have two hornlike things on it’s head. Usually, when it’s bright, they’re kind, even if they are sarcastic and backtalk. They get out of hand very quickly though
Biography:
He never had the best family life, but he didn’t have the worst. His parents just wanted him to be the best he could be, but they might have been just a bit too enthusiastic. They never meant to hurt him, physically or mentally, but that didn’t mean they didn’t. His life at home was filled with remarks, be it about him or others, that would tear his soul apart while he pretended to smile. They pushed him to become a hero of course, because in their mind, the alternate was a villain. They saw his quirk as evil, and while he couldn’t blame them after some of the things that had happened, he didn’t agree in the slightest. When he failed the tests to get into U.A., they never outright told him how mad they were, but they didn’t need to. The words, the glares, and the conversations they would have when they didn’t think he was listening did that perfectly well. About a month after bombing the exams, he left. He managed not to die on the streets, even though he had his fair share of run-ins with unsavoury folk. However, one night, a homeless shelter he was staying was destroyed during a villain fight. Many people died, and he himself almost did, because the heros there decided that it would be smarter to fight the villain than rescue people from a burning building. A few months later, the same thing almost happened again. This time, Kanazawa did something about it. With the help of Dark Shadow, he managed to keep the fight away from the shelter. The only bad thing is that it was caught on tape. Multiple news stories had video of him defeating the villain. Luckily, the video was bad enough that no one could recognise him. And then it just kept happening. A villain fight would get a little bit out of hand, a little bit too dangerous for civilians, and he would step in. Eventually, people started talking about him. When a video of him fighting showed up where you could just about see his face, he realised he needed some type of disguise. After lots of work, he managed to make something that worked. With a little bit more, he perfected it. The media outlets haven’t decided wether he should be thanked or punished. The police where trying to catch him. But no one bothered to suspect the runaway kid. He still hops from shelter to shelter. But now, he’s proud of himself, and proud of the fact that he’s making a difference in some people’s lives.

(His mother’s quirk was a mutation, she had Antilope abilities. His father had a quirk that let him use shadows to complete menial tasks, like cleaning or such)
