The Mysterious Mr. Black:
A mysterious, eccentric english millionaire with a mansion in one of the British Isles' many small, secluded islands, Mr Black has made his considerable fortune through somewhat dubious means, and has a rather twisted sense of humour- blackmailing and toying with people may be a hobby of his, one that may indeed lead to his demise.
Of uncertain age, not young, not old, the man has a very british appearance and a very british accent, even if he actually dislikes tea. Despite his, ah, hobbies, Dr. Black is quite intelligent, and does have a doctorate in something vague. Apart from his eccentricities, he's also well known in Britain for his works and treatises.
Possible Murder Reasons
-BLACKMAIL. The eccentric Mr. Black does enjoy mind games and has an, er, odd sense of humour, but one of the main reasons of his rather large fortune come from his network of spies and blackmailers. In the dreadful dinner, he could possibly reveal the ugly secret of one of the guests to the world, for fun or profit. Mostly both.
-REVENGE. The eccentric Mr. Black is quite the womanizer, and we know what they say about a scorned woman's wrath... apart from that, a part of his fortune may or may not have been made with the stealing of certain research papers that might have destroyed the careers of a budding scholar. Not to mention his lack of compassion. And, of course, who knows who the eccentric, ruthless Mr. Black murdered?
