This world is is part of an almost infinite multiverse. Within this multiverse are entire planes of existence that house little universes of thier own. Each universe is separated from one another by dead space known as the Blind Eternities. Each plane is home to many different races, but each plane has something in common: Mana. Broken into 5 colors, Red, Blue,Green,White, and Black, this mana is the source of all life within the planes and of course the source of magic. Through mastery of magic humans and other races have achieved great feats but only within thier home planes. However there is a special existence within the multiverse known as a Planeswalker that is able to traverse to different planes at will. This is due a mysterious force known as a planeswalker spark that lies dormant in some individuals. It can lie dormant for the majority of ones life and is activated by powerful emotions. Such as the fear one feels when being attacked, the hatred of watching a loved one killed etc. When the Spark activates the newly born planeswalker is transported to a different plane out of reflex and they gain a massive boost to thier magical power. Planeswalkers are a rare breed or at least they used to be. Something has changed within the multiverse. A new plane has appeared or rather has been discovered. Named Midgard by other planeswalkers the plane seems to be made exclusively of humans on a tiny planet named Earth. However an abnormally high amount of these humans have dormant planeswalker sparks within them. Not only that, but the plane’s unusually dense amount of mana is being consumed by an unknown entity leading to no magic being used on the plane. Not to mention the fact that this plane seems to be a melting pot for every other plane in the multiverse. Something strange is afoot and it’ll only get stranger with time.

Hello all, had a craving to make a Magic the Gathering RP for a while and just didn’t know what to do with it. To start I’m thinking of doing an Academy stint so that the newly born Planeswalkers, that is us, can learn about our powers and how to control them. From there who knows! I’ll need to think a bit further ahead.
