Moi Characters

Roleplay Availability
Characters I've made for RPs that didn't last, have had no RP at all, or just because I want to use them again.
Some characters were made a long while back, so their personalities/bios may seem peculiar.
Made for archival purposes and because I have nothing better to do.

Hecate
[HEK-ah-tee]

1598425554865.png
Gender: Female

Species: Demon

Age: 8

Personality: Hecate is almost like any other child, laughing at pretty much anything, whining for something until she gets it, makes a big mess of things, and gets bored easily. Selfish merciless and (unknowingly) cruel, Hecate is as good as any spoiled kid, getting angry when things don't go her way and overreacting to even the smallest of offenses. She wants to have fun and will take any means to entertain herself, even if it comes at the price of others.

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Weapons: An army of "Dolls"

Abilities:
Necromancy -
She has an army of Dolls, black-eyed people of any age that listen to all her commands. They were once regular people, but have lost control of their bodies to Hecate. Only their minds are intact as they can only watch themselves move of another's accord.
Teleportation - Self-explanatory. Has a limit of 20 meters.
Pocket Dimension - She has her own pocket dimension named "The Dollhouse," where she collects people she deems handsome (done by hugging them for 15 seconds). In The Dollhouse, nobody can feel pain, hunger, thirst, or exhaustion. She occasionally enters to have some fun "roleplaying" with them. If they don't comply, Hecate will gauge their eyes, turning them pitch black just like hers, and making the person lose control of their body, slumping to the ground. The victims are now called her Dolls, which she tosses into The Closet, the second part of the pocket dimension that only she can access. It's an infinitely large space where she keeps all of her unused dolls—the source of the army she can summon.

Bio: An 8-year-old girl left her house to play in the yard. In only a brief minute, a band of hooded people ran through and kidnapped her. The next thing she knew, she was being tied down on a table, surrounded by the masked strangers who chanted ominous phrases. She wrought her wrists against the rope until they bled, crying and pleading to go home. When the knife reached her throat, she had ascended. Her mind flashed through the following centuries, witnessing every war, every death, everything until she forgot her own name and family. She would recall those events happening in a matter of seconds when she regained consciousness, still in her 8-year-old body and clothes she wore that day, just pale as milk. The first person she saw, she called "Daddy," who gave her the name of Hecate.

A powerful demon only known as the Mad King put forth his plan to take over the continent known as Irrilia, run by five kingdoms. It worked exceedingly well, and he created five lesser demons to manage each kingdom, while he ruled the capital kingdom of Manastisia. The extra demon was Hecate, who he created to go around and slaughter any remaining stragglers. However, one royal from each family survived, grouping up at the calling of a powerful elf name Drellin. Drellin taught the royals powerful magic, subverting the low expectations of the demons and the Mad King. Slowly, they reclaimed the land which was so easily taken from them at the start. Thanks to Hecate's ability to escape through her pocket dimension and teleportation, she was the last one alive. When the other demons fell, and the Mad King was brought down, Hecate vanished.

Other:
-
Hecate looks and acts exactly like a child. She's an annoying, spoiled brat, and will pout and cry and roll on the floor should things go against her wishes. In terms of physical combat, she fails massively. She instead relies on her Dolls.

-Hecate's pitch-black eyes change her perception of the world. Instead of the regular people and green grass, she's cursed to forever see the world as a dark, empty void with ruins and desolate paths, and its people as faceless and in despair. After feeling alone for so long, she decided to try and give people faces, "creating" their eyes with her thumbs. They'd seemingly follow her along, and Hecate now has piles upon piles of dolls.

  • 1598426666684.pngPeople who refused to become her minion, so she took them by force by gauging their eyes with her thumbs. Their minds are still alive, but trapped in a body they can't control. They follow Hecate's every order, and are able to convert people to Dolls as well.

Drystan "Rys" Wright
(Scrapped idea for superpower school RP)

1598427716271.png
Age: 18

Villain: [X] or Hero: [ ]

Alignment:
Lawful Evil

Power name: Duplication

Power description: Drystan can create multiple copies of himself that obey his commands. If he tells them to follow another person's orders, they will do so. The current maximum amount of copies he can create is four. They share the same personality, appearance, and mind, but act like separate entities. Rys will have no idea what happens to them unless they're in his sight. If Drystan wants them gone, they have to rush into him to vanish. With each copy he creates, his stamina is divided evenly among them; with four copies out, each body has 1/5th of his original stamina. The copies throw attacks with the same strength as the original Rys, so he can mob down whoever he faces off against. The copies can be destroyed, and Drystan will need to recover his stamina and wait a day before he can replace all destroyed copies.

Personality: A quiet kid with a straightforward attitude. Brilliant, but troubled. The unnotable kid in the back of the classroom. Underneath his exterior is a labyrinth of radical ideologies, beliefs, and ideas. A cacophony of laws that Drystan knows will bring order to even the largest of nations if the ones high in power stopped sucking the toes of the general public and did what was necessary to put an end to "undisciplined activity." Drystan views himself as superior to most others, mainly in intelligence and maturity, which he idealizes in a human being. He believes that if the world only consisted of people like him, all would be well. He occasionally lets out a bit of his true thoughts alongside his sincere facade.

Drystan frowns upon what society deems "good and bad," and "reasonable and insane," often finding the labeled sides for certain situations to be brainlessly swapped by the masses. He is bitter at the world and its inhabitants, viewing most human interaction as a game of attrition where winner takes all. Drystan's mindset revolves around his personal philosophy: "Since it is difficult to join them together, it is safer to be feared than to be loved, when one of the two must be lacking," and, "Do not fear the strong. Fear the weak, for they have something to prove."

Background:
Drystan's life was initially one of freedom and carefree desire, despite his family's financial problems. He shied away from other people, to which others and his family chalked up to shyness. His parents would be at work for most of the time, leaving Drystan with absolute freedom in life. One could say they spent too much time away from their son, leaving him estranged and lost in what direction to take his life in. Trying to find answers for himself, Rys soaked in information at the library, taking keen interest in the philosophy of Legalism and making mental notes of what he thought he could improve.

Growing older, he began alienating himself from others, picking apart their jovial and eccentric attitudes in thought. He came to view them as excessive and pathetic, a sham of who they can really be. Someone wishes to have friends, trapping themselves in a delusion of a world where silly gimmicks meant to please strangers earned them everything. Pushing himself away from the others, Drystan focused on his studies and reached the top of his class. While alone, he became hooked to researching real-life stories of tragedy, and how many hardships people face at their current age are because of something in their childhood. He noticed something: Almost all of their troubles stemmed from other people. People who spread their malicious intent with no regards to consequence. Because there was no consequence for people like them.

In his mind, Rys constructed a set of laws he was certain would bring order to the world. Sharing them anonymously online, however, had others cry totalitarian. This only infuriated Drystan, throwing him into a dilemma that worsened his line of thought. They called him insane, but if someone follows their dreams, regardless of repercussions, are they truly insane? Is the man himself who becomes a villain to blame, or are the people who made him that way? How could his hypothetical peacekeeping laws be aligned with those very same people? He steadily became frustrated at others' lack of perspective. If that was all they needed to deem someone villain, then so be it. He'd become a villain for the world's sake. Once the monsters of the world are all contained, they will only have Rys and his ideals to thank.

Extras:
-Drystan keeps a journal on him where he stores his beliefs and laws.
-Though he'd never admit it, Drystan like putting his hands behind his back all the time because it makes him feel intelligent.
-He speaks with brief pauses between every word, constantly debating whether it's the right thing to say at the moment.
-He continually suffers conflict within his mind with a calm, rational side and a devious, spiteful side.

Quotes:

"The general public... Why are we forced to entertain the notion of pleasing these people every day? Pittance is all they've got."

"These people are so used to all doors being open to them. Show them a closed door and they'll chew off their own foot to gain entry.""

Dexy Thayer
(The OC that replaced Drystan)

1598427984187.png

Age: 18

Villain: [X] or Hero: [ ]

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Power name: Duplication

Power description: Dexy can create multiple copies of herself that obey her commands. If she tells them to follow the other person's orders, they will do so. The current maximum amount of copies she can create is four. They share the same personality, appearance, and mind. If Dexy wants them gone, they have to rush into her to vanish. With each copy she creates, her stamina is divided evenly among them; with four copies out, each body has 1/5th of her original stamina. When against other people, the copies are harmless, no matter how hard they try to punch the opponent. Weak as they are, the copies also cannot wield weapons, barely able to even lift them. They can, however, injure people through the environment, meaning they can set up traps that activate through switches, or set up pitfalls. Any strenuous acts to create the traps will have the original Dexy aid them.

Personality: Dexy is the evilest of evils that the world has ever seen! Nothing can even come close to how evil she is! ... At least, that's what she likes to think. In reality, she's a prideful girl obsessed with becoming the best villain. Her "villainous" acts, though, are severely questionable. Dexy will gladly look down on all heroes because "that's what villains are supposed to do." She is the least brightest girl in any room, and nearly everyone who's worked with her has shared one sentiment: She is extremely incompetent, but does, however, have a shine of brilliance once in a blue moon.

Background: Dexy was born to fairly infamous villains, who groomed her to become the heir to their miniature empire at an early age. They couldn't get far in their lessons, though. A band of heroes finally cracked down on their illegal business, and Dexy's parents were arrested. Dexy was left on the baby steps to becoming a villain as she was sent off to a foster family, and she would never understand out what it truly meant to be a villain; all she knew was the limited teaching of her parents. Her new family read to her basic hero and villain storybooks meant for children like herself, further corrupting her image of an ideal villain. Instead of being recognized as the neighborhood bully, she was written off as the neighborhood clown. Instead of earning the distaste and scorn of her foster family, she earned adoration from her poor attempts.

Dexy was bewildered how putting the spoons with the forks and vice versa wasn't getting her hated, and it wasn't long before she came to a conclusion: Her acts simply weren't villainous enough! The time of childish antics was over! Up came the more heinous acts of villainy! Such as writing a mustache on a restaurant mascot with a marker; littering in the park, right next to a trashcan; and worst of all, pouring milk before the cereal!

Satisfied with her descent into villainy, Dexy enrolled into Rhamery's School of Heroics and Villainy. Hopefully, they can teach her to become a proper villain.

Elias Holden

1598428074828.png

Age: 17, almost 18

Villain: [ ] or Hero: [X]

Alignment: Chaotic Good

Power name: Fragokinesis

Power description: Elias is able to create explosions in the palm of his hand, taking the form of a baseball-sized fireball. They detonate upon impact. His average explosion radius is as big as a grenade, but he can vary the power by charging it, causing it to grow in size, or by splitting the ball. Unfortunately for those around him, Elias has not fully taken control of his power, and occasionally sets off an explosion when he was never supposed to. To compensate for that, he hides his hands in gloves made specifically to nullify the explosive-creation process. He is immune to his own explosions.

Personality: Elias is a bright, childish person. While he is optimistic and always seeks the bright side of things, he is irresponsible and appears to never learn from his mistakes. When something goes wrong thanks to him, he brushes it off with a sarcastic "oopsie daisie," along with an odd pose: one hand on his hip and the other in a sideways V-shape near his eye. When it comes to his power, though, he is extraordinarily enthusiastic about showing it off; some would suggest he is borderline obsessed with explosions themselves. While he works as a hero mostly to help others, part of his motivation is to look for any justification to blow things up. In nearly every aspect of his life, when in downtime or taking on a job, Elias dons an energetic smile, and it usually spreads. Fortunately for Elias, his cheerful demeanor and jovial attitude around others has overshadowed his more... insensitive nature...

Background: Elias was raised in a rich, connected family, one that deeply cared about him after losing their second child to a car accident. They gave him what he wanted, and only wished the best for him. In their eyes, Elias grew to be someone lovable to everyone around him, and they were right. Sure, he had a somewhat strange fascination with explosions and watching building demolitions, but they chalked it up to his ability, nothing more. They taught him all that was remarkable about heroes and let the unrealistically idealistic stories get to his head. His parents were the type to say that their child would never do any wrong.

One day, while walking home, he spotted an influx of people screaming as they ran down the street. Inspired by the stories and shows of heroes, Elias ran opposite to the fleeing crowds, closer to the sudden cracks of gunfire and the wailing police sirens. Five robbers were holding up a bank with eight hostages: men, women, and children. Despite the police telling him to stay back, Elias confidently stood outside, and a ball of flame rose in his hands, growing larger and larger. Had they known what his power was, they would have acted faster in stopping him.

What happened next was an explosion that rocked that part of the city. The bank was subsequently destroyed, reduced to piles of rubble. The robbers were dead, and emergency workers were immediately called in to dig for survivors. Miraculously, all hostages—in critical condition—had survived. The explosion had landed in the bank's entrance, while the robbers kept the hostages in the back, ultimately sparing their lives. As Elias was detained, all he could say for himself was "oopsie daisy" as he cracked a mischievous grin. Naturally, there was city-wide outrage. Nobody knew what was going on in the head of Elias, but his parents were absolutely certain of this: Their son was innocent and was simply unknowledgeable in the range of his powers, and how with proper training, he'd grow to become a successive hero.

To avoid public backlash, the family had news sources claim that Elias was incarcerated for his reckless actions, when in reality they had him enrolled at Rhamery's School of Heroics and Villainy so he could learn how to become a proper hero. Whether he truly fits in a class of heroes or is more suited for the other category is up for debate.

Extras: Whoever tries to high-five Elias without his gloves risks losing their fingers.

  • 1598428483262.pngName: Orson Pavalos
    Aliases: Tin Man
    Gender: Male
    Species: Human
    Age: 41
    Role: The Grand Inventor

Personality: Orson comes across as jovial, energetic and charismatic. Like all corporate elite and high-functioning sociopaths, he is persuasive, appears trustworthy and disciplined, and has the ability to make you feel like the most important person in the world. However, he will cheerfully rob you blind, seeing human interaction mostly as a game of attrition, where winner takes all. He takes great pride in his inventions and does his best to ensure that they are the best they can be, even if he must "disrupt" a competitor to do so. He never puts blame on himself, and sees money-making opportunities as one of his top priorities, wavering just around loyalty. When not conducting business or facing any "slander," Orson is a kind man who does his best not to start anything rash.

Motivation: Make his inventions the best they can be / Money

    Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

    Weapon:
    The War Suit -
Folding neatly in a suitcase, Orson's most prized invention is his War Suit. It is the only model that exists, and it allows him to fly at high speeds, fire missiles and grenades, rain fire and arc bombs, and cause mayhem with agility. Its turns are wide and slow, and runs on limited fuel sources. With the assistance of Olivia, the fastest he can put on the suit takes around two minutes.
    1598428524935.png

Bio: Orson was born to an ordinary middle-class family in the capital city of Berle, the jewel of his kingdom. As it was with every other citizen, he was taught at an early age to obey the nation's saving grace of electricity and the Ubermensch. As a teenager he showed all the signs of a high functioning sociopath: charming, charismatic, extroverted, and above all, trust-invoking and inspiring, a born leader and a first-rate charlatan. Besides that, his brilliance shone brightly; he'd already created doll-sized, sentient clockwork robots to keep himself company. Before he could graduate, a polio epidemic swept through the kingdom. His leg withered and died, and he spent months lying in bed, waiting.

Months later, he was left with a permanent limp as he continued through classes, his genius mind unhindered by the paralyzed limb. People who knew him would recognize his perseverance as inhuman; something to take after. It was as if he brushed off a mere scratch. As Orson grew older, he saw through the patriotic brainwashing of the government; how they fed into the lies that the Ubermensch devoted their entire lives to. And what did he do about it? He used this information to word and manipulate his way across the hierarchy, spitting in the face of his family and peers as he ditched them for a greater path to the future.

Soon, he established a government-funded corporation known as Kotlin Industries. Orson and his corporation advanced the technology of the kingdom, and even personally constructed Lord Nicholas' armor and arc gauntlets. The kingdom used hundreds of his inventions in conflict or "peace-keeping" duties, which has claimed lives numbering in the millions. All while Orson rested peacefully on piles upon piles of profits. Due to his ineffective polio leg, Orson hired an assistant by the name of Olivia Hall. He saw her proficiency in engineering and the raw passion she had in bringing ideas of machines and armaments to life, and she instantly became a trusted ally beside him. Whether the affectionate way he treats her is a facade is up for debate.

It wasn't enough for him, though. He couldn't resist making some illegal money on the side and launched a complicated version of a classic Ponzi scheme and over the next decades embezzled billions of pounds of gold from his criminal activities to the public. Soon enough, the Grand Inventor was accused of billion-dollar investment fraud against the people of Berle. The government—strained in their resources and military because of the rebellions—relied on Orson's company to continue fighting, and they failed to deliver justice for the lives he ruined. Now, living in a luxurious mansion/workshop built specifically for him, Orson and his assistant practically have nothing standing in their way.

    Skills:
    Genius Tinkerer -
Orson excelled in engineering and inventing, and was responsible for most of his kingdom's crafts and military weapons. He can easily patch devices and provide maintenance. If the technology is outside of his range of knowledge, he is more than willing to experiment and learn.
Silver Tongue - As stated, he is persuasive, appears trustworthy and disciplined, and has the ability to make you feel like the most important person in the world.

    Equipment:
    -A cane for his limp
-A suitcase to hold his War Suit

    Other:
-Orson was once married and later divorced. When the wife died of cancer a decade later, Pavalos cynically conned his estranged, teenage son out of his inheritance.
-Due to the polio epidemic on his world, Orson walks with a permanent limp on his left leg.

Orson lives in his clockwork mansion.

1598428899020.png

Name: Zithlo / Anushka Narang

Aliases: Zith / Anya

Gender: Male / Female

Race: Drurlian-Cephalopod (they live up to 600-800 years) / Human

Age: 486 / 24

Role: Bandits

Personality: Zith, knowing little to nothing of the human language, remains quiet for most of the time, except around Anya who can understand Driannosa. He holds little regard for life unless they meet a specific criterion of his: if they can stare death in the face and laugh. Besides that, Zith will not hesitate to remove any obstacles in his or Anya's path, often leaving the cadaver beyond recognition. He has a knack for explosives and firearms, to which his partner claims he can stuff a bomb inside anything he is given. The only person he will ever show appreciation to is Anya, who he sees as a daughter-figure.

Anya shares many of Zith's qualities, such as her lack of hesitance when killing and a liking towards explosives and guns. Unlike him, she is brimming with charisma and very outgoing and affable towards others; even if she's executing them. If it weren't for her stockpile of weaponry and the knowledge that she's a mass murderer and terrorist, she'd be identical to an extroverted girl. With a morbid, sadistic sense of humor, she often overshadows her smarter companion to where she is more well known and infamous than Zith.

Faction: None

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Guns: Zith mainly wields a double-barrel shotgun and a grenade launcher pistol / Anya uses a light machine gun that fires incendiary ammunition. Holstered on her waist is a basic laser pistol

Equipment: Anya carries a small knife by her side

Brief Backstory: Anushka Narang was eight-years-old when she, her influential family, and their envoy of "work people" traveled to the water-based planet of Drocuria. She doesn't recall the purpose behind the visit, or what exactly happened that day; only that her parents had business with certain residents on the planet, and then the initial explosion of what would become known as the Antaphia Bombings. After whatever happened, she remembers waking up bandaged in an airtight room under the care of a towering Drurlian-Cephalopod by the name of Zithlo. He raised her as his own, showing the young Anya the ropes of his work in the criminal underworld, even going as far as taking her to watch him assassinate dozens of figures in loud, brutal massacres. At 15, Anya watched Zith tie someone up and gently grasp her hands around a gun. This marked her very first kill in the long line of murders in the years to come.

Years later, Anya and Zith are renowned and reviled bandits that enjoy basking in the fruits of their work. And from the rate of things, they're not letting up anytime soon.

Other:
-Drurlian-Cephalopods are brutishly strong. Zith is no exception.

-When traveling out of their planet, Drurlians must submerge themselves in water four times a day to avoid health complications.

-Drurlians refer to any of the intelligent races that hail from the planet of Drocuria, a water-based world. Its capital city—Zith's birth place—is Antaphia, and residents all speak Driannosa. Zith is a Drurlian-Cephalopod, a sub-species infamously known for their defiant, snappy behavior, intelligence, and often an association to the criminal underworld. This stereotype has caused a prejudice against Drurlian-Cephalopods.

1598429245158.png
The texture is there on the real body as well.
1598429252924.png
Height: 5'7
Weight: 96 lbs (low due to her close call)

BACKGROUND
Personality
: Chloe used to be a friendly, outgoing college student who cared deeply about her friends and family. Now she's gone mad, desperate to find a way to reverse her condition. Chloe became a heartless criminal who will take on whatever stands in her way to get what she wants. Chloe doesn't think things through all the way, only making a list of possible candidates for who would fix her and then tracking them from there. She gains her information by interrogating those connected to the person, working her way up the ladder. She cares about her own life more than others, gladly slaying and torturing them for her own means.

Chloe prefers staying in her graffiti form, but will start missing the normal sensations of a human before ultimately coming back. In her real body, Chloe can't help but feel her skin, all the roughness as if she were painted brush by brush. She can't convey her emotions like a normal person except for anger. Chloe envies everyone she sees while in her graffiti form, wanting nothing more than to be just like them.

Backstory: Chloe had a happy life, coming from happy parents and grew up with happy friends. She learned of her powers at the age of 18 when she was spray painting over a wall and some cops spotted her. She ran away and accidentally jumped into a wall. The cops ran past what they thought was a graffiti piece of a woman. During the next two years, Chloe took full advantage of her power, experimenting with it and whatnot. She hid it from her friends and family and was under the belief she was maintaining everything well. Chloe was attending college when it happened: While she was in her graffiti form and running across a wall, something—she doesn't know what—caused it to crumble. She was strewn across in different chunks of the wall, moving at a snail's pace and losing her mind in the incident.

Eventually, she escaped the pile of rubble to an unharmed wall. She appeared fine; up until she leapt out into her real body. First came the blindness. Only slightly panicking, Chloe felt for her phone. By switching back and forth from her graffiti form to real body, she navigated to the phone's camera. She deleted the selfie the moment she saw it. While her graffiti form escaped mostly unscathed, it was her real body affected the most. Her eyes were gone, replaced by empty patches of skin. Her entire body looked as if it were an old painting, and she could feel the roughness of her body as if it were made layer by layer.

Chloe Thornton was reported missing by her friends and family, and still remains a missing person. However, a new villain seems to have surfaced in the city. A work of graffiti, behaving and moving like a human. It was able to extend her hands from walls, rough and paint-like, to snatch people's belongings to bring it into the wall as well. Now called Magnum Opus, she's been spotted attacking well-known individuals by grabbing their feet from below and causing them to trip, then reaching for their heads to bash into the pavement until they're unconscious. She would then drag their unconscious body into the wall with them. As of now, Magnum Opus has been responsible for over a dozen disappearances and burglaries.

CONNECTIONS

Elias Holden
(Yes, he shares the same name as the other Elias, but he came first)
1598429632529.png

Alias: Opium Poppy (by his followers)

Age: 32

Gender: Male

Powers: Contagious Influence | Elias is influencing those around him via blunts. His influence is carried through the fumes of whatever he smokes, slowly affecting minds/wills of others. If exposed for long enough, they will follow his ways and take on a hippie life. Elias' followers will follow him around, creating a hippie commune. The effects remain as long as they don't wander too far off, or are separated long.

Equipment: Blunts?

Brief History: Elias is your average, stereotypical hippie. He hung out with his people, did things that hippies usually do, and lived a calm life. When the Event occured, Elias found himself making friends and converting strangers far easier than before. What he didn’t (and still doesn't) know was that he has powers. Whenever someone hung around him while he smoked (which was most of the time), they would end up in a happy trance, soon asking to join Elias. Afterward, they would slowly morph into hippies, following him around. Despite all of that, Elias still doesn’t know he has a super power, and remains blissfully unaware. Over the weeks, Elias has unintentionally built himself a loyal hippie commune. His followers have bought florid RVs just so they could travel with him. His followers are very devoted to Elias, treating him like their God. In the past week he ran into a squad of some aggressive Black Templars (bad guys from the RP he was in). They tried interrogating him, but after some time sat with Elias and shared blunts. They ended up leaving the Black Templars, ditching their armor and equipment to take on the hippie lifestyle. As of now, he has four RVs worth of followers.

Personality: As you may have guessed, Elias is a massive hippie. He has no idea that his powers even exist, and accepted this strange change rather quickly and easily. In public, he along with his followers are viewed as regular, odd hippies to stay away from. Elias does not rule over his followers, and treats everyone equally. He believes that no matter what, the universe will correct itself, and therefore does not care what happens to him or the world. Overall, he just wants to live a normal, hippie life and make love, not war.

Other: Elias' hippie commune is the only one in the city. They are hard to miss, and travel around a lot.
