you've hit the jackpot, you are one of the lucky students to attend blackwell military academy in new orleans, louisiana. well, that's what the pamphlet says. your parents have always thought you were a brat, troubled or spoiled, you somehow found yourself travelling from the comfort of your home into the blackwell academy. usually, a little begging or crocodile tears could change your parents mind but they didn't budge.
founded in the early 1900s, blackwell academy was originally known as blackwell institution for the mentally ill. filled to the brim with patients out of their minds and doctors ready to experiment on the innocent patients. william blackwell was obsessed with the supernatural just like the new orleans community. yet, he craved to find a way to create monsters using the patients as test subjects. but before he could finish his experiments, william passed away for unknown causes, his leather book in his cold clutches, alongside six other unknown patients nearby him. now, his grandson, adam, is ready to finish off his grandfather's work.

miss cordelia darling - witch
miss cordelia darling is a kind and wise woman with the powers of a supreme witch. after a heated argument with her mother, miss cordelia's mother cursed her with blindness but that never stopped her. cordelia started up a school in new orleans with the help of her young son and her, now deceased, husband. miss cordelia sees every student as her own child and despite being a quiet woman, she always willing to help a student.
mr elliot mcnamara - alien
one of the brightest man on earth; which is kind of funny to him since he comes from another planet entirely. mr mcnamara was the advisor of a great alien planet that was on the verge of an intellgalatic war. following the emperor's orders, mr mcnamara took the emperor's daughter away and started a new life on a planet called earth. mr mcnamara can be described a kooky, somewhat unstable, character but his mind is full of knowledge. just make sure you hand your assignments on time!
miss emilia black - vampire
miss black is a very cynical woman, expericing all the horrors of the world since the 1800s. no one knows how old miss black is but she can assure you that she's old. miss black is a functioning alcoholic and when students get on her nerves, she takes a swig from her special water bottle. emilia black is also assigned as the guidance cousellor for her strange, yet useful advice.

mr ross calloway - incubus
mr calloway is known as a bit of a flirt around the staff and student cohort, most likely because of his incubus genes. mr calloway helps teach most of the classes such as maths and pe along with his co-workers.
he's an aloof and mysterious man who, rumour has it, has the hots for miss cordelia herself. he's the youngest teacher out of the staff cohort who loves to tell stories about his younger, partying days. most of the students love him for his lack of caring for homework and assignments.
