The sun was finally setting as Nora flipped the Open sign on the door. Hopefully tonight would be good. Not only was she getting more frequent mail from her dark-marker dealer but Misery also had an appointment coming up with her witch to redo the spell. The spell was needed to calm the human guests so they wouldn't freak out over seeing demons, skeletons or any other weird looking creature that walked through the doors. And all of this cost money. Money that she currently was low on because she'd updated some of the bar features and given her staff raises.
Speaking off staff, Nora walked outside, turned and looked at the door with a tilted head before taping the Hiring NOW sign on the lower glass panel. While her staff was great, she needed more people. Back inside, Nora went to the bar and poured herself a gin and tonic. Usually, she didn't drink on the job. Usually.
