Fandom Middle Earth: The Lights

I know i seemed harsh on that last dwarf but did you notice how all the rest even the injured had cleaned their weapons and i couldnt let him away with it or next time none would clean their weapons. Gimli gave a low whistle and the Elves began to bring out tables and place them round the fire while others brought out food. Torli one things in command you need to learn is to look after your men. Give me a hand with these kegs will you.

@AidanCee

I nod and help him with the kegs. They're quite heavy but they're manageable. I even help with the food that the elves have given to them and I straighten out the tables a bit more.

The fire that is being built feels warm and nice. I can't help but smile. I feel at home with these dwarven soldiers.

Absolutely great. For once he wasn't proven wrong! "Heh, told you so." Said Braxis in a hushed whisper to the Dwarf next to him. Not the first time he wasn't allowed somewhere, the people of Gondor heavily disliked him thus attacking him everytime he tried to return or gain entrance. Lucky enough for him he was fast and able to find some place to hide. Looking up at whoever it was that spoke to them he yelled back "Sure, not like I'm not used to living in the wilderness. Could you send down some beds for us to sleep on out here?" He joked. Oh how I enjoy pissing people off.

Alynna walks over "I already did a check up on the elven guards, most of them were injured and were send to the healers" she says and hears someone shout, so she walks over "We're not allowing people in because we just had an orc and spider attack, so until we know it's save we won't let anyone in or out!" she calls, she really hated it when people thought they were annoying others, but well he needed to try a lot better.

Azaghal scoffed as the elf was actually right and the problem was they weren't allowed in which was really not he was prepared for " Wait can't we just sneak it their castle " He whispered to what sounded like a really good idea but he had didn't have any other options so this was what he though of. Azaghal soon sighed " How long will that be ?" He called towards the elf not having the rude tone unlike the dark elf beside himover the wall questioning either or not this was going to take long or not and besides if orcs were to attack they probably would have attacked with a larger force considering the castle took only light damage.

"Well for tonight for sure" Alynna says and she adds "But the orcs will be back woth more and the spiders as well", she looks at the two, one of them didn't look that friendly, the other seemed okay "But why do you want to get in?"

Eldrais sat on large boulder, watching everyone getting supper and stuff. It felt a bit strange not having to worry about getting caught or watching his back. He didnt know what to make of it really.

Location-Gondorian Fortress Ruins

Gathered in the courtroom of the ruined fortress, dozens of orcs and uruk sat in a large circle, staring each other down, with insults and jibes thrown back and forth at regular intervals. Everyone once and awhile, a few of the orcs and uruk in the room even broke out into fighting at some points, the number of bodies growing as the delegations from each warband waited patiently for the last warlord to arrive.

As two warlords began shoving each other back and forth, they drew blades, ready to kill the other, when a horn sounded from outside the keep. Almost at once, every orc and uruk in the room stopped what they were doing, before quickly moving back to their areas. Behind each warlord, a few dozen of their best warriors sat hunched, waiting for their lords orders.

Several minutes later, the large doors into the courtroom were flung open, and seven gigantic uruk walked into the room. Six of them, flanking three to either side of a central figure, looked about the room, their grimaces evident as they looked upon the others in the room. In their hands, each carried a morning star like weapons, but instead of a ball at the end, dozens of fishing hooks were tied to a chain, and blood stains could be seen on each one. Across their faces, they all wore white and red war paint, displayed in patterns varying in complexity and design. Standing well above the other uruk in sheer height, the central figure looked much the same as his escort, except, he carried a large carving blade.

Walking to the center of the room, the uruk slowly turned in a circle, taking in all the other warlords, all of whom have bowed their heads slightly, in respect to the new arrival.

Extending his hands to either side, the uruk let out a simple proclamation in booming voice. "I am Drak GrimHook, for my delay to arrive here, I am sorry, but now that I am here, the war council can begin!" At these words, the other warlords and warriors in the room rose to their feet, letting out war calls and cheers, brandishing weapons in the air.

Bolin walked the walls of the Gatehouse as the sun slowly crept over the horizon Bringing a new day to world as he thought about all the adventures he had been in amd how they had shaped his live thus far looking down on the Dwarf and Elf knowing they too were about to be swept up in current events. @Subject Delta @Veyd Sahvoz

Gimli woke to find himself lying under one of the tables as he tried to get up he felt his head spin and ler you a groan thinking to himself 'im very going to touch dwarven triple mead again' looking round the courtyard he realized the previous evening's party had gotten out of hand as this troops were laying sprawled all over the place. "alright Lads time we got up and got ourself sorted" as he started to shake and proad the Dwarves till they were in there feet

Elatan chuckled to himself as he walked upto one of the water butts as he surveyed the dwarves before sticking his head into water burr to help wakrn himself up before making his way to the stables were he checked on Fatin and the rest of the lights mounts before returning to the stable door and watched the dwarf begin to clear up their mess. @Flame Demon @AidanCee @Talon

Alynna enters the throne room in her travelling gear, her cloak covering her armor, still tired as the dwarfs had kept her awake most of the night, most probably passed out somewhere, it wasn't uncommon to find a passed out dwarf in the corridor, at least not anymore. Legolas chuckles "Morning sunshine, you look terrible" he says, Sunshine was a nickname her mother gave her, but she didn't really mind it if her father called her that "You'll learn how to tune them out after spending more time with them" he says as he starts braiding her hair "Well thanks for the compliment" Alynna says, earning another chuckle from her father "You're not going outside are you?" she asks, Legolas sighs "I have to see the damage" he says and adds "Though I could ask Gimli when he's up"

I didn't hear Gimli's call. I'd fallen asleep after one too many meads and now had sprawled myself on one of the benches of the tables, snoring fairly loudly.

I didn't remember much of the dwarven feast, just an older dwarf, along with a younger one, coaxing me to down my mead.

Gimli saw Torli asleep on one of benches as he coaxed his troops awake making his way round the courtyard as he organized his dwarfs to begin repairs on the castle after the attac. he took a pail of water from the the well and trough it over shouting. "Time to get up master slug-a-bed." @AidanCee

Bolin made a survey of the castle walls and decided that the damage was very light as the Orcs and spiders had scaled the walls rather than assault them. Making his way into the throne room he saw legolas braiding Aly's hair. "Morning My Lord and Lady. I have made an assessment of the castle and it seems the spiders climbed the trees and then shot there web to make a bridge for the more nimble orcs to get into the castle to attack you and to open the gate to allow the main force in" making his way over to his pack in the corner. I have a few suggestions to improve the castles defences firstly you should have a shallow trough dug into the top of the castles walls and filled with oil, secondly we cut back he trees and undergrowth a full bow shots length from the castle walls and we trap the ground, thirdly we use the timbre we clear to build our own counter siege engines and lastly dig a moat around the castle.

Gandalf was sitting in the corner unnoticed and spoke up i know treebeard is in the area on the other side of the enchated river he and a party of ents are returning to fangorn and im sure they would help with the digging of the moat and clearing the ground so that we need not cut down any unnecessary trees. @Flame Demon @Talon

Elatan was in the stables tending to the lights mounts filling each of their parties mounts with food and other necessaries before returning to the throne room. "My lord i believe you still have other guests outside the castle waiting to get in." @Subject Delta @Veyd Sahvoz

I woke with a cold shot woke me up and I was drenched .

Head banging from the alcohol I sat up ringing the water out of his hair.

"Sorry, sir, I fell asleep." I yawned.

Legolas looks at Bolin and then at Gandalf "Alright then, but you should leave as soon as possible, you can't linger too long, with Sauron's return he might send more forces if you're still here" he says and Alynna says "You worry too much", they could handle it since they already handled an orc attack.
