History:
Midas was born to a family of wizards and magi, steeped in research in an attempt to further magical knowledge. the family was respected in all forms of magic, and Midas was the heir. sadly it wasnt meant to be. Midas was born with the innability to harness magic, and that dashed any chances. A magical family could not have a head with no magic. So the right was passed to his sister...and Midas was disowned. During his time alone, and with a desire to ram his fist down the throat of his pompous father, he searched for a way he could stand beside them one day. He soon found something...

None. Midas uses his hands.

Magic: Midas has learned to channel his life energy,also known as Qi, in was that allow him to do things most cant.
Increasing physical strength
hardening up to roughly two feet of flesh, To the point of stopping steel
Firing blasts of raw energy
Do to this being a nonmagical form of combat, he does not release the same magical energy, and therefore cannot be tracked by demons in the same manor.
Extra:
Any use of this Qi DOES risk death. If drained of magic, you cant cast spells. If you run out of Qi, you die... However,the difference between how much magic one has and how much Qi one has can be massive, and in some cases, near limitless. They just never find out
