BACKGROUND:
Merlin and Morgana Abbott were roughly 11 years old when they were promptly kicked out of their own home. The twins were forced to live on the streets because neither side of their family wanted them because they were neither Siren nor Veela. The two had to fend for themselves, because they were left with nothing but the clothes on their back, Merlin ended up working at a young age, at the age of 16 he started selling his body and working as a stripper in both the wizarding world and the muggle world, yes it was degrading but what else were two young homeless wizard and witch to do? He didn't want his sister to have to do the same, especially since he wanted the best for her. They were surprisingly accepted into Beauxbatons Wizarding School of Magic, which Merlin was pleased because his sister would finally get the schooling she deserved. He continued to do the dirty work and got quite the reputation at school and on the streets, not that he minded. It actually gave him a confidence boost that he was desirable and well sought after.
After graduation, Merlin stopped selling his body since he had actually gotten a pretty solid job out in Russia with his sister, he was a bartender for awhile until him and his sister got their N.E.W.TS back in which the two of them decided to become Aurors because of the Outstanding Marks that they received. The two of them share a quaint little home in a rather high end neighbourhood surprisingly, the two of them are alright with it. The two of them on the side from being aurors, free lance for some extra money.
(The siblings' family tree is quite tangled as their family is pureblood, but it's laced with Siren and Veela Blood that neither side wanted the twins because they were both and Sirens and Veelas don't get along so they were disowned.)
