Fantasy Mekka University (Academy RP)

Promise Nothing Deliver Less
One day, you receive a strange letter. After waiting for some time to yourself, you read it.

"Hello, new student! You may not know it yet, but you are the distant relative to a magical creature! If they ever find out, the humans you have been hiding amongst will kill you for sure, and so we at Mekka University have come to help you! In a few days, a cab will arrive. Take it, and you will begin your new life as a student, learning how to defend yourself and control your powers. If you don't take the cab, you will never hear from us again. We hope to see you soon!

-Headmaster LaCroix"

Sure enough, a cab does come, and you enter it. What happened next was indescribable, as the cab seemed to have teleported away, with you inside! One instant, you were staring at your home; the next, you're staring at the prestigious front gate of Mekka University. A porter quickly shuttles you into the courtyard, where a thronging crowd of students and teachers alike have already gathered! An elegant-looking gentleman approaches the podium placed far up ahead, and happily addresses the crowd.

"Ladies and gentlemen... welcome to Mekka University! We will begin your education properly in just a moment, but for now, please feel free to get to know one another! You will all go through thick and thin together, so I expect you'll want to be close!"

The Black Swordsman, Satsujin Shi knelt on his knees in his dojo, with both of his hands wrapped around the hilt of his blade, the Daten-shi no Katto Dai Murumasa. The room was grimy, and bare except for a few scrolls which hung on the walls and a altar which was burning with incense. Purple smoke was rising from it. He kept his position on the bamboo floor of his dojo for some-time before he opened the letter.

The Demon could not know of the contents within it. Surely it would do something if it knew the contents. With a quick precise swing of his blade, the letter opened. Well really the envelope that had the letter exploded in half, as the letter gracefully descended to the ground like the cherry blossoms of the upcoming battles.

Shi grabbed the letter and glared at it, as he returned his blade to its sheath. "...Tch." said the Black Swordsman as he read the contents within. After reading the contents he crumbled up the paper and tossed it into the burning incense. Shi stood up and glanced into the distance as he slowly walked out of the dojo.

[...]

Entering the cab he kept a good hold of his blade with his left hand, and began tapping at the side of the door. Perhaps this place would allow him to tame the darkness within. Though he doubted this, but he grew tired of the Dojo and the memories it was bringing him. The cab was quick in its travels, teleporting away.

As the porter man tried to guide him in, Shi just gave him a glare. The man soon backed off and moved onto another student. Shi reluctantly followed the crowd inside.

However as soon as he was in he went to the far edge with no one besides him. He leaned against a nearby structure as he reached into his jacket as he pulled out a cigarette and lighter. Shi lit the cigarette and returned the lighter back into his jacket. Puffing out rings of smoke he kept his hand on his blade, ever vigilant.

Crystaline straddled a large branch in an oak tree outside her cabin. She played with the letter mindlessly as she scanned the forest. She watched as a squirrel jumped from tree to tree, getting closer to her. Her hands stilled as she watched the squirrel jump onto her tree. It spotted her suddenly and dashed back to its home. She sighed and opened the letter. She raised her eyebrows as she read then climbed down from the tree and went inside. She destroyed the letter then went outside when she heard the rumble of a car. She climbed into the cab and jumped when, a few seconds later they arrived at a new location. The cab driver helped her out and showed her where to go. She found herself in a crowded courtyard. She looked up at the man speaking. She went to a corner and sat on the ground, watching people mingle. She hated mingling.
