Being able to pick up on unconscious cues from body language and speech enables Alicia to have an incomplete understanding of a person's current issues and is better able to identify with that person.

Social Jujitsu - Due to her father and grandfather's constant political maneuverings, and her public status as the family's black sheep, the array of reporters who have harassed her has been truly astonishing. From these, Alicia has picked up the ability to speak fairly persuasively and is usually able to hold her own against the average reporter or sub-average politician.

Unconscious use of her powers causes her body's physiology to be weaker than most peoples, due to constant sapping of nutrients and tissues from her. This often leads to symptoms resembling anemia and malnutrition including tiring out quickly, dizziness, occasional blurred eyesight, shortness of breath. These symptoms get worse if she goes a while without eating, and she is forced to consume many more calories a day than the average person her size.

Type: External, Biologic, Manipulation, Rejuvenation
Metahuman Theme: Rejuvenation and manipulation by touch of the tissues of other organisms (more specifically plants and humans) using her own body to give up resources. For example: Alicia could not just touch someone with a broken arm and make it instantly better without any repercussion to herself, the bones would have to be set and she could speed the healing to between a couple of minutes to an hour depending on how extensive the break is, with the trade off being that her own bones and body would be weak from giving up so much calcium.
Ability 1: Green thumb - Alicia can cause rapid growth and movement in most plants that she touches. (A lot of it happens without conscious thought, from her just touching plants for comfort.)
Ability 2: Mender - Alicia can help speed the healing of non-immediately fatal wounds and injuries at a cost to herself.
Ability 3: Alicia can cause movement in almost all varieties of living tissue if she can touch it or some living tissue directly next to it if given a long enough time (plants respond in a matter of seconds, animal and human tissue take longer).
History
Alicia was born into a gigantic family from both sides, (all in all she has eight uncles, five aunts, and a busload of cousins, not counting those who married into the family) her father's side were heavily involved in politics while her mother's side were (small) business and blue collar people. The family was able to coexist fairly happily and her parents were very much in love, which contributed to her happy upbringing until she was ten.
She found she was a metahuman at age 10, when, confronted by a bully from her school at the park, she 'asked' a tree to hide her. This resulted in a partially uprooted tree and a hospital trip for the young girl due to lack of nutrients and dehydration . This discovery shattered the family, with her father's side (though not her father himself) and part of her mother's side disinheriting her and her mother. Her mother and father separated (although not divorced) for the good of his family's career, and her mother--being furious--refused any money to aid in child support from her husband or his family. She instead used her family's connections to set up a small but successful restaurant in a run-down area of Megalopolis.
Alicia helped her mother where she could until she was old enough to become a paid waitress at the restaurant. She finished school with fairly high grades, but hasn't yet had the chance to go to college.
Personal
Motivation: To provide a safe, neutral place where people can rest and get away from the surrounding turmoil and violence. (And possibly make it to where her father's side of the family will speak to her again.) To earn enough/help the restaurant be successful enough where she would feel safe about going to college.
Profession: Server, sometimes cook, and unofficial accountant of her family's restaurant
Interests and Hobbies: Astronomy, painting, gardening (although it's more of a love-hate hobby than anything), cooking, games, museums
Common Behaviors and Mannerisms: Very polite and outgoing to people, unless in one of her sulks, she will greet people she sees on the street with a smile. She will, unthinkingly, talk to and caress plants, which can lead to issues with the authorities and her own health. Alicia can often be found playing games on her tablet--the only electronic thing she owns.
Personality:Alicia has a positive attitude towards life overall and believes in working to make things better, but can occasionally fall into a depression due to the difficulties she sees in her own and other's lives. This often morphs into a period of anger before returning to normal. Through this she has learned to keep her emotions suppressed so that she won't attract attention to herself or do anything to hurt her mother or her father's careers.
Opinions: She finds it difficult to hate anyone, due to being able to see things from the perspective of others, but she disapproves--strongly--of the gangsters running around in her neighborhood and their encouragement of the illegal activities pulled by some of the younger kids. She also disapproves of pro- and anti- metahuman sentiments, supporting the argument of everyone being "just people".
