Males tend to have spikes going from between their eyes to the upper half of their neck while females don't have spikes. Males are covered in either green and black or blue and black scales. Females are covered in red and gold or purple and gold scales. Their heads, necks, chests and lower portions of their legs and arms are covered in scales while the upper portions of their limbs along with their bodies are covered in fur. They have two sets of ears, medium furry ears on their heads with two reptilian ears on the sides of their head and scales on their hands and feet. Their tails are completely devoid of fur and are instead covered in scales. Male and female Zalbilians have a vast difference in height. Standing on two legs, male Zalbilian stand at 2 to 3 meters tall while their female counterparts stand at an average of 1.6 to 1.8 meters in height. Backstory: A foreigner to earth, Ajax was taken across space from his home world of Ceglaitov when he was six. For the next year and a half the child lived aboard a spaceship as it went from planet to planet, collecting different species to either sell as slaves or put into an inter-galactic zoo. Ajax was one of those chosen to be a slave and taken to earth where he was quickly sold. For the next six years, Ajax was treated harshly by his master until he was purchased by someone with shadier motives who saw a feral darkness within the child. He immediately purchased Ajax and made the boy's former master have an accident, a tragedy really.

Ajax's new master gave the boy an education in combat and anything else he might need to know to gain fame and fortune. His new master had a complex personality but was quick to anger when his charge was threatened or he was disobeyed and Ajax learned quickly to never upset the man who had purchased him. Treated more as an apprentice than a slave by his second master, Ajax was eternally grateful for a chance at freedom. Ajax trained under his master for the next decade until he became competent to strike out on his own. He joined a spaceship touring the galaxy for a couple years but something happened that he doesn't talk about and ended up making his way back to earth. He then continued collecting bounties and serving as a mercenary until he was approached by the captain of a ship called The Titan who had heard about his success as a bounty hunter and offered to join his crew.

Name: Ezro Strider

Age: 28

Weight (optional): 220

Height: 6’ 2”

Race: Humanoid

Role: Captain of “The Titan”

Zodiac: Taurus

Looks: Image below

Weapon of choice:
Dual Pallidium Pistols: Don’t let this piece of light weaponry fool you, it packs a punch that can pierce through all kinds of protection and armor. The Palladium that the pistol is made of acts as a sort of current that ignites the ammunition with electricity which further improves the versatility of the weapon. If the victim isn’t shot fatally, the projectile will stun them and cause short term paraylsis.
Solar Blade: This one is rather self explanatory, it functions just as a lightsaber would in being able to cut through most everything. The blade spans a good four feet and Ezro has trained with it long enough to be more than capable of dismembering any opponent with it.

Personality: Ezro is a mean and tough son of a bitch when you first encounter him. He doesn’t take too kindly to strangers and often has a cold demeanor toward them. However those close to him, that of course being his crew, know him to be a more sarcastic and joking type person that loves to tease and joke and around with his friends. However, with this “fun loving” trait comes the constant occurrence of acting like a straight up asshole sometimes. Of course, he is more often than not quick to apologize and try to make amends for his behavior. Should the time arise where his crew is in danger, Ezro will not hesitate in doing everything to save those he loves and is the most dedicated and loyal person you could ever meet. He is strong willed and determined to finish a job and make it look easy while doing it. All in all, Ezro only cares for his crew and his ship.

Backstory:
As a young child both Ezro and his brother
Kaizo were brought up and trained among the ranks of the Interspace Naval Academy. To which their skills and talents went noticed by the ITF (Interspace Task Force, a sort of law enforcement of the cosmos) and they were eventually recruited. Throughout their training, the pair were to be injected with several syrums of unknown contents. All they were told was that it would make them unstoppable, powerful, and strong like the other soldiers. The thought of this excited them. Ezro has always thought of the ITF as the good guys who protected the many systems of the known universe. But his opinion was soon to change. At the age of 20, him and his brother were hired for a hit job by their commander. All they had been told was to take out the target and get out unnoticed. Their target was described as a tyrant who rejected the ITF and their offer of protections. Thinking of him just as such, the pair set off.

Upon arrival, they quickly set up a vantage point that had a clear view of the rulers estate. However, upon examination, Ezro’s brother Kaizo hesitated on the shot before setting the sniper aside and his face fell in his hands. Kaizo described the man, looking gentle in nature and was caring for his children like any other person. Knowing full well the children would be scarred for life and orphaned if he took the shot. Both himself and Ezro had more than a good experience of life without parents, of course they didn’t know if they were dead or alive. Because of the rejected orders, and the failed mission they were to report to the Head Commander himself to discuss his displeasure with them. After a few harsh words were exchanged, Kaizo had had enough and attempted to leave only to be shot point blank. As his body crashed to the floor Ezro stood horrified as he felt fear and hopelessness in his heart. When he finally came to his senses, he realized that the gun was now pointed at him. In an instant, Ezro dodged left and right before finally coming around lashing out on the commander. In a flurry, he had him pinned down with the pistol pressed to his face. Tears welled up in his eyes as his finger tightened around the trigger. “Do it boy, you don’t have the guts.” And he was right, Kaizo couldn’t bring himself to do it and instead cracked his commander across the face and fled the ITF compound. Ezro was labeled a criminal and a deserter of the task force, and eventually he was able to deal another disservice in stealing an ITF cruiser and converting it into his very own vessel. The regret of not puttinga bullet
to his brothers killer still haunts him to this day, and he bears not to speak of the events.

Name: Catarina Cortez, “Cat”

Age: 27

Role: Titan’s Medic

Race : Human

Weight: 70.1 kg

Height: 5 ft 7 in

Looks: 96B4CAFA-F4F8-4368-AC6F-CE8F10A136F8.jpeg

Weapon of choice: High caliber pistols. designed to pierce the thickest of materials. Her preference is to duel wield them. During her years in the medical field she discovered different elements and plant life that produced adverse affects. The bullets of her pistols are often laced with poisonous or paralytic toxins she acquires during her travels.

She is not physically strong so she prefers distance between her and her opponent. In the off chance she gets herself in a sticky situation, she had the weaponsmith craft her a weapon capable of temporarily stunning her opponents for a hasty get away. At first it looks like a harmless baton, but once fully charged admits a neon blue hue of pure electric power. It is powerful enough to short-circuit protective armor and administer a potent shockwave to stun. Be careful not to touch without properly insulated gloves.

While not necessarily a weapon, Catarina also has a droid that acts as a mobile clinic when her equipment is not within reach. DOC is able to quickly assess the situation, obtain vital signs, store wound closing technology, and is also an adorable companion. He isn’t so much a medic droid as much as he is her pack mule and assistant.
48538FFD-F084-4ADE-BD41-A72BC1E7FBF2.jpeg

Personality:

Intelligent - Definitely book smart and lacks common sense at times. Her intelligence lies mostly in regards to anatomy and physiology.

Sarcastic - Working in Trauma she’s had her fair share of short tempered and mean spirited patients. A coping mechanism she obtained was a sharp tongue that dripped sarcasm from the tip.

Diligent - No one can really say Catarina puts no effort into her work. Anytime a crew mate is injured she devotes most, if not all, her time on him/her. This requires treatment, observation, and reassessments. Sometimes she can be a tad bit overbearing.

Adventurous - The main selling point of joining the Titan crew was getting to travel the vast universe. She’s ready to face everything that comes her way.

Hypocritical - She definitely does not practice what she preaches. Catarina is adamant smoker. Another coping mechanism she developed. She also puts the health of others before her own.

Starry-eyed - Visiting new and exciting worlds brings out a childlike quality within her. It’s as if the persona that was crushed as a child has resurfaced in this twenty seven-year- old adult.

Backstory: Catarina lived a fairly average childhood on planet earth. Her life was mediocre. That’s why she aspired to travel through the universe and see all it had to offer. She often told herself stories of stellar adventures she longed to go on. Her parents,on the other hand, determined these were nothing more than the silly fancies of a young child. They crushed Catarina’s dreams and enrolled her in countless summer courses. Creativity wasn’t allowed. They reprimanded anything that didn’t contribute to their desire to see her as a well established physician. Verbal abuse occurred on an almost daily basis in the guise of “doing what’s best” for her. Before she had even turned 18 she found herself enrolled in medical school. Her days filled with countless hours of studying and dread she found herself no longer thinking about the world that lay beyond the stars.

After graduating from medical school as a trauma specialist, Catarina began working at a highly frequented medical bay. Travelers from across the galaxy came and went. There were different stories, backgrounds, and races she came across. She became content with her life this way. At least pieces of the universe came to her. For six years she worked at this facility. Her days began when she woke up at six am and ended not long after her work day did around around seven pm. The severe and grotesque injuries that occasionally came no longer made her sick or her stomach or a nervous wreck. She had become so numb to the things that once elicited an emotion or two. When she finally headed home she’d smoke, make herself a highball or glass of wine, eat, bathe, and then drift off to sleep. Her life became a predictable series of events. That was until one fateful encounter.

Catarina met a man banged and bruised by god knows what means. Curious to know how this man sustained his injuries she began to question him about the incident. His answer only brought more questions. Did he do this on a regular basis? Where did he go? What did he see? So many questions filled her head but she couldn’t bring herself to ask. She was so enthralled in his adventures she found herself yearning for more. Realizing she was wondering into a world she did not belong, she finished patching up the man and made her way to leave. He must’ve seen the fascination she tried to mask. He must’ve also realized what a damn good job she did. That’s when he asked her if she wanted to join his crew. Seeing this as a mere joke, she brushed it aside and informed him his injuries should heal without any complications. She began to make her way to her station to start her charting. That’s when she heard him clearly. “You really want to do some tedious charting or do you want to be a space pirate?”

Name: Claire Zoller

Age: 32

Role: Cook

Race: human

Weight: 150 pounds (68kg)

Height: 5'8" (173cm)

Looks:
65a7c71ecd130c7bcf986f824c08bb21--manga-girl-manga-anime.jpg

Weapon of choice: none

Personality:
Anyone who had become acquainted with Claire within the past five years would know her as a laid back, caring, and generally cheerful person. She is a diligent worker who generally keeps to herself as much as possible, preferring to listen and observe rather than offering her own thoughts. She is clever and resourceful, with the swift problem-solving skills and ability to keep her cool essential to anyone working in a proper kitchen. Any free time she finds herself with is devoted to her eclectic taste in books, though the culinary-based odd jobs she picks up typically keep her too busy to do much reading. As she has very few interests that require leaving her apartment for destinations other than her job or the library, she is generally regarded as a homebody.
However, there is a past version of herself that bears very little resemblance to the person she has shaped herself to become. Her years spent in self-imposed exile have allowed her plenty of time to come to accept her situation, and she has developed the ability to find contentment in nearly any circumstance. But what isn't clear is if her personality has truly changed in any meaningful way, or if she has simply come to fool herself with the persona she had originally taken as an alias. At times, cracks can form that reveal a much more cold and calculating nature. She also knows much more about intergalactic cuisine and languages than could be expected of any chef, even in New York.

Backstory:
Claire started her life the southern part of the United States. The deep south. Raised in a solidly working-class home with more children than a pair of blue-collared parents could be expected to afford, Claire--the middlest of the middle children--was more or less left to tend to herself throughout her childhood. This suited young Claire just fine, as it allowed her to shirk school and pursue her own interests with comparably few interventions from her parents. At the age of ten, she managed to find a martial arts studio (though how it managed to stay in business in her hometown baffles her even now) that would allow her to take classes in exchange for cleaning and other odd jobs. By the time she was sixteen, she was equal parts skilled in fighting and fed up with her boring, futureless life. Planning to study to become a martial arts instructor herself, Claire packed up and decided to head into the city to study.
The next decade was spent falling into a much more unexpected career. Her skills as a marital artist, as well as her childhood raised hunting year-round and negotiating with her much larger older siblings to not shove bugs up her nose, eventually resulted in her becoming a member of intergalactic security detail. In her position, she protected members of various races and occupations throughout the universe. She became well-acquainted with all sorts of weapons, fighting styles, and cultures. However, after the successful assassination of one of her clients, during which a bullet all but shattered part of her spine, that episode in her life came to an abrupt end.
After over a year of surgeries and extensive physical therapy, her body arrived at a reasonable state of recovery. But her psychological state was a completely different story. The trauma of her experience left her with a debilitating tremor whenever she so much as touched a gun, effectively cutting her off from her career altogether. And so, with all of her money spent on the best medical care available, her career over, and the fact that she was on the radar of a few too many powerful people prone to grudges throughout the galaxy, she decided to settle down as a cook in New York. Her knowledge of intergalactic cuisine quickly came to the attention of alien residents, some of whom had their own reasons for putting down roots as "humans" in the big city. It didn't take long for Claire to become accustomed to her new life. However, when the chance to explore the universe once again presented itself to her... well, saying no simply wasn't an option.

Name: Ken Stevens.

Age:
28.

Role: Engineer/Weaponsmith/The bloke who keeps the coffee machine working.

Race (species): 'Enhanced' human (technically his augments qualify as enhancements, but not really). His augments are very basic - more for medical reasons than anything else. A few years back, he noticed that he was starting to develop symptoms similar to arthritis in his elbow - probably from all the work he had been doing - so he got a cybernetic replacement. As far as enhancements go, it is pretty bog standard and doesn't do anything fancy.

Weight: Roughly 88 kilograms (though a few kilograms of that is from his robotic elbow).

Height: Roughly 180 centimetres.

Weapon of choice: A prototype he was working on before he got fired. Originally designed to be mounted on spaceships, the ASIA (Anti-Shield Induction Armament) was theoretically a high powered railgun that could bypass shields and potentially disrupt them by causing magnetic flux. Before he could, however, he was sacked - so he took his designs and created a model designed for actual combat. While possible, he has yet to be able to create it in full. The ASIA can bypass even the toughest of shields, travel at tremendous speeds and has great firepower, especially against robots and electrical equipment, but at the cost that he has to carry a battery pack to use it - even then, he only gets a few shots before he has to recharge. In other words, very powerful but very limited. He also has a standard pistol just in case, slightly modified to be better. He could easily create other weapons or upgrade his current ones, but he doesn't use them enough to warrant it.

Personality: Ken is a friendly fellow. He is quite charismatic, except when he is working, and is usually seen in the lounge when he isn't working chatting to the others. He is the sort you'd find at a bar not for the booze, but for a good laugh and carry on. In fact, the only time he isn't like this is when he is in the ship's workshop - or at any other work - but the reason is simple. Engineering is dangerous, and you can't afford to mess around. He is incredibly intelligent, as is often proven when he upgrades or builds things, yet he does not flaunt this fact - he does his job, and rarely boasts about it. Not to say he isn't proud of his work, but he doesn't like to rub it in.

Backstory: Ken was once a prodigy in engineering, working for the ITF creating and designing the ships used. Shipbuilding was his forte, weaponsmithing his speciality. Until, however, a scientist created an AI intelligent enough to do his job for him. Rendering him useless, the AI took thousands of jobs from hardworking engineers - himself included - and left him home and dry. He was drinking one night in a local pub, searching through tabloids for another job, when a man came up to him. Apparently, he had heard about the engineers' problems and saw that he was looking for a job, so the man offered Ken a position on a pirate ship. Normally, he wouldn't accept...but, well, it had angered him that his hard work would be thrown out like that and so easily replaced. So he accepted.

Name: Kainen Shamal
Age: 20
Role: First-mate
Race (species): Demon
Weight: 65kg
Height: 182cm
Weapon of choice: Daggers

Personality: Kainen was a happy child, eager to please and be worthy of his family name. This changed after his father was killed by his brother, the person he most admired in the world. He became cold toward others, unmoved by and uninterested in what they do or think of him, choosing instead to keep to himself. The pursuit of power, difficult enough on its own, is something that Kainen repeatedly struggles with. Whenever he meets new people, he makes an evaluation of their abilities: those he perceives to be weaker than himself he arrogantly disregards, giving them as little attention as possible so that they won't hold him back; those he perceives as stronger he fixates over and tries to surpass, especially when he believes he should be their equal.
Backstory: Kainen grew up in the shadow of his older brother, Rell, a natural prodigy who many in the family and the village would constantly compare Kainen and any of his accomplishments too. Kainen himself adored Rell, never passing up an opportunity to spend time with him. Although Rell welcomed his company, letting Kainen watch him train and taking him on adventures into the forests, Rell in return rarely helped Kainen himself become a better fighter; when asked, he would often instead poke Kainen's forehead and promise to do so some other time. Kainen found this annoying but didn't allow it to blemish his high opinion of his brother.

Their father was rarely home almost never Rell was the head and in charge while his father was away. That changed when Rell had come of age to finally become a pirate what their family was looked down upon by the IFT but admired and respected by pirates. It wasn't clear what had happened no one really spoke of the incident but what is known is that Rell betrayed his teammates and most importantly his father killing him in cold blood and joining the IFT but not before atoning for his sins severing a 13-year sentence. Kainen's father's last wishes that his only remaining son be able to join the ship to atone for his brother's wrongdoing and the loss he caused the ship.
