[div class="tag yellow"]history[/div]Micah was born and raised outside of Norfolk, Virginia to immigrant parents. His father worked in engineering at a local company who designed machinery. He worked hard for his family. Micah is the middle child, with one older brother and one younger sister. They were all fairly close in age, his brother being two years older than him and his sister three years younger. They only squabbled growing up and to this day they are fairly close. His mother, a patient and kind woman, took care of him and his siblings. Micah showed promise at a young age with his smarts. He especially excelled in math and science. When he was very young he wanted to be an astronaut. Though at the age of 10, that dream changed, and so did his life.
His mother was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer two months after his tenth birthday. Although she fought hard, she passed away a month before he was 12. Him and his siblings watched their mother slowly wither away to her illness. Their father, stricken with grief, became even more of a workaholic. He wasn't at home much. His older brother got into trouble at school, starting fights. His sister got extremely reserved. While Micah used his friendships to help him. He confided in friends, and they helped him cope. He vowed, when he was older, to help other families before it was too late.
Micah continued to excel in school. Earning top marks in every class. He left bullies behind when he started taking some college while still in high school. He ended up graduating a year early from school. He applied to Harvard to go into medicine. To his shock, he go in. He also was granted many scholarships, not enough to cover all of it, but enough. He graduated this past spring from medical school. Micah hadn't even thought of applying to Clearview before one of his professors mentioned it. The same professor knew a friend on the board of directors so she put in a good word for him. Micah was had been accepted as a first year resident at his first interview. Now he's here. Barely having enough time for sleeping and eating but he is learning quickly how things work around here. Hopefully he can work hard enough to stay. His dream his finally coming true. He feels like he is making his mother proud.

While most of that is true, he's incredibly smart, and maybe a bit too proud of that fact. He carries a very "me first" type of attitude outside of the workplace, but takes his work more seriously than anything else in the world. He's an intense worker, and very stubborn in his choices. This makes him not very good at working in groups, domineering the group due to an insistence on only following his way. But he does have a soft side, as do many of his ilk, and loves children and animals. It's argued that he may be too emotionally unstable to work a hospital, but what he lacks in emotional sense he makes up for in pure intelligence. Outside of work, to a close friend, he has a dry sense of humor but ultimately cares deeply, proud to give away his own belongings and needs for the sake of certain others.

He was a quiet, studious child, with a far more rough-and-tumble sibling, and the two of them spent most of their early years doing farm work. But there was something gravely wrong with Cecil, and it was easy to tell from early on. He often coughed and had trouble breathing, and performing athletic tasks was a challenge. He was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, a genetic disorder that causes an overabundance of mucus in the lungs. There's no cure, but a few measures can be taken to help. He got an inhaler, but his parents were worried. The nearest hospital was a full hour away from their house, and he could realistically die if not given proper care.

When he was seven, it was decided he should move in with his aunt and uncle in Newport. Though his cousins didn't dislike him, he also didn't really fit in well with them. The city in general was much faster than he was used to. He often got bullied due to his sickly state, especially his inability to perform properly in sports. Quickly, Cecil was shuffled to the bottom of the pecking order.

In high school, Cecil met his first love. His classmate Seth, who had the most beautiful brown eyes. Cecil never made his feelings known, not wanting Seth to suffer because of it. He never had a girlfriend, though no girls ever asked him out to begin with. Being built like a toothpick, he was hardly considered desirable. In spite of his complicated social life, he excelled in his studies, many of his teachers even chalking him up as Ivy League material. But he had no idea what he wanted to do with his life, and couldn't find a proper outlet for his wild mind. He was frustrated and unhappy with his life for years.

At sixteen, while in a fight with some classmates, his inhaler fell from his pocket. One particularly cruel student took the inhaler and threw it down a storm drain. Cecil was the type of child to never say when something was wrong with him, so he opted not to tell his parents about it. He had college applications to fill out, after all. But at some point the state of his lungs got really, really bad. He woke up in the morning with a horrible chest pain, barely able to breathe. Quickly, he was driven to the hospital in a half-conscious state, convinced he was going to die. He must've passed out at some point, because he couldn't even try to remember what happened between the car ride and waking up. He woke within white walls, a mask over his mouth and nose.

It turns out he was suffering a lung infection. As well, some cysts had developed in his lungs which required removal via surgery. He wouldn't be going back to school for awhile, which seemed like a good deal, but he still couldn't get around the fact that he almost died. So he went under, and spent several days at the hospital and several weeks at home contemplating what he went through. God knows, there could be tons of others like him who would've died before their time without the power of modern medicine. Suddenly, Cecil became very interested in surgery. He read books about surgery and studied them front-to-back. In his senior year, he applied to more colleges than he knew how to deal with.

He managed to score a scholarship at John's Hopkins, studying every medical field he could get his hands into. His professors were amazed by his dedication, even if they were thrown off by his harsh attitude. He never considered applying for residence at Clearview, but a classmate of his said she was doing so as well. hot-tempered, nelly can blow a fuse if you irritate her too much. though she isn't mean enough to personally attack you verbally, she'll probably glock you on the head. like her temper, she tends to be stubborn to a fault, if she believes in her own choice, she sticks by it regardless of consequences. as such, it makes she is associated with being a troublemaker to some, causing disarray at times when disagreement of medical opinion or choices occur.

born to a loving family of five, nelly wang is the eldest child of all three daughters eugene wang li qiao and takeshi mizuki has.

eugene wang, a senior detective at their local precinct was the most loving father any child could ask for. though he was constantly swamped with work and didn't get the chance to spend time with his wife and children a standard 9-5 job provided, he tried his best to make up for lost time.

while takeshi mizuki was the most patient in-home tutor who constantly tutored children from elementary up to high school as to help her husband. it wasn't necessary but her excuse was "i don't wanna just sit at home and do nothing. soon the kids would get bored of me too!"

they weren't the wealthiest nor were they the most fortunate but they had each other. however, their family took a turn from living their best happiness everyday to devastation when nelly's mother was killed in a hit-and-run. it turned out the offender was an ex-convict that was mistakenly placed in jail by eugene wang.

if it wasn't for her father's mistake, the offender would've been able to make it to his grandfather's funeral, not wasted 4 years in jail and save nelly's mother.

because of guilt, sorrow and anger, her father quit his job six months after his wife's death. nelly, her younger sisters and her father had to obtain financial aid from their aunt and uncle on their mother's side.

as such, at the age of 16, nelly closed the box of dreams other teenagers had her age and decided to pursue a job that would not just aid her family financially well but also bring pride to her whenever she mentions her job, unlike her father who now dares not even speak of his past career.

Alan grew up Pasadena, California with his older sister, Amber, and his dad. His mom left after he was born, said she couldn't handle having two kids while she was still young. Luckily, his dad was fairly well off as he worked as an engineer for JPL. His dad, being a scientist himself, started educating him and his sister at an early age. Alan was always interested in animals, even wanting to become a veterinarian one day, so he focused mainly on biology. Quickly, the effects of his father's tutoring showed. Him and his sister both managed to skip a few grades, him skipping most of elementary and middle school, and Amber being put in a senior class in 8th grade. Academically, he excelled, socially, he was a bit lacking.

It wasn't much of a problem until he reached high school. Being the youngest in the school made it really difficult to make friends, plus this was right around the time he began puberty, so everything was off track. His loneliness turned into frustration. Alan started acting out, trying to fight other students, sneaking out at night, doing legally dubious things. His dad was extremely disappointed and gave him an ultimatum, either get his act together or be sent to a disciplinary school. So he decided to do the rational thing and present a third option to his dad. Alan wanted a therapist, he realized that his dad wasn't always gonna be there to listen and he wanted a safe place to vent his problems. Seeing as how they were in any financial crisis, his dad agreed.

With that the next few years flowed rather easily. He opened up more, graduated high school at 16, got a bachelor's in biology, went to medical school in New York, life was looking great. Hell, even his family was better off. He started connecting with his mother, Amber met a guy and had a kid, his dad got promoted to head of the robotics department. Then it happened. On the way home from a short road trip, Amber and her husband got into a car crash and died almost instantly upon impact. Alan was crushed, his sister was a role model to him, she was so successful and brilliant with a bright future ahead of her, and now she was gone, just like that. She even left her little girl behind, Mable. With his dad now too old to take care of such a young child, Alan took up the responsibility and adopted Mable. At first he worried that his career would be too demanding to give her the attention she needed, but after consoling some child care professionals, he decided that this was something he wanted and needed to do. He planned out everything, weekly schedules, meal plans, education courses, he's got everything figured out, but he still worries about her every day.

Now life has settled into normalcy. Mable is now 8 years old, she's extremely intelligent and social, and Alan only worries about her on occasion. With his promotion came a lot of responsibilities, but he also gets more vacation days, which he uses extremely strategically. Sure, he still misses Amber a lot, but he's managed to move on and live happy life again.
