Hierarchy The Council of Vampires
The Council is a small group of selected vampires from all over the world. They either were part of Royalty or the Nobility. Once a vampire has taken their place as a Counsellor they have no claim left on their family name. This all to guarantee the impartiality of this group. They are responsible for the Vampire Laws and that it is maintained. They are the only ones powerful enough to punish a pureblood vampire, while not necessarily being from pureblood themselves. They are free to turn any human or halfblood upon their simple wish.
Royalty
The Royalty are the Seven oldest Vampire families and only living Purebloods. Each family has their own territory. Within their territory they are allowed to make rules, as long as they don’t contradict the Vampire Laws, and are allowed to maintain them within their territory. Also are most pureblood families specialized in one power that goes beyond the normal vampire strengths. Only a pureblood can punish another pureblood. Purebloods are allowed to turn humans and half bloods, with the permission of the Council. (in most situation this permission is implicit).
Nobility
These are the most loyal followers of the Royal family. Often they are granted certain rights, such as maintaining the rules, permission to turn half vampires and even permission to use the families powers (though in a weaker form). They are mostly in charge of the normal vampires, though they greatly respect their Purebloods.
Vampires
These are the vampires that have serve the Nobility. They mostly try to live just like humans, not harming them. Respecting all rules of those above.
Half vampires
These are the children born out of vampire-human relations or bitten humans. Though vampire-human relations are strictly forbidden by Law, the Council tends to only maintain this rule when it comes to Nobility and Royalty. Humans that are bitten (and injected with a bit of vampire saliva or blood) will change into half vampires, which is an almost natural progress. It will spike a fever for a day or two and then the half vampire can continue its normal life. It will have the heightened senses and night vision like any other vampire. Yet will not have the enhanced strength or speed. Also they will have a blood thirst, yet still be able to eat normal food. They might become a bit more sensitive to the sun than normal humans. All together they could still perfectly live as humans.
Rogues
Completely at the end of the list are the Rogues. They have pledged no loyalty to any of the existing Royal families. Often they travel freely over the world. Only the Vampire Law counts for them. However the downside of their life is that they will not be defended by any other vampire if there is any trouble. Rogues will lose all claims to their former statute as soon as they declared rogue. Besides the death penalty this is one of the most severe punishment a Nobility or Royalty can receive.
Vampire Law
1. Thy shall keep thy abilities and advantaged secretive from humans.
2. Thy shall not have any relationships with humans, besides business relationships
3. Thy shall respect the hierarchy at all times
4. Thy shall not kill each other, or start a war, without a decent reason.
4a. The only reasons for war would be damaging the name or reputation of the other.
5. Thy shall not kill humans without a reason.
6. The Council is free to remove, add or adjust any rule she seems fit.
7. The Council shall be notified in any situation that is urgent enough it should be known by the Council.

The Changing
A human can become a full blood vampire in only one way. First he must obtain the state of half blood. This means a full blood vampire has to bite him and inject their genes into the blood stream. This will cause the human to spike a fever for a few days. After this not much will be changed. Half Vampire are automatically the responsibility of the vampire that changed them.
To become a full blood the half blood has to be drained of half his blood and then take the blood of Pureblood. Due to the vampire blood being aggressive it will attack and try to conquer the human blood inside the body. The change is often painful to the human and very risky. The fever can last from 4 days up to a whole month. Once changed the Changeling will be overcome with blood thirst, which is part of the pain. Only once that thirst is settle the Changeling will receive his or her status as full blood vampire by the first new moon. During their Changeling period they are complete responsibility of the Changing Vampire. Once full blood vampire they are their own responsibility. As a full blood vampire it is assumed they are fully away of the vampire hierarchy, society and Laws. The Changer will have to make sure that the Changeling has this knowledge , before starting the changing. During the Changing period the Changeling might go berserk. Once the Changeling is out of control it shall be immediately put to death by the Changer or anyone close enough.
HierarchyThe Elder Alphas
They stand above all the packs. They are the oldest lycans alive.
Within every pack
Alpha (male and female)
They are mates for live, often not choosing a new mate once one of them has died. They are dominant over all the rest of the pack and what they say should be considered law within their pack. They take an interest in what goes on in their pack and if they've been away for any length of time look to the Beta to learn of what goes on in the pack. (Leaders)
Beta (male and female)
They may or may not be mates and are second in command. When neither alpha are around they take charge as it is the responsibility that falls to them. The Beta is there in order to test the Alpha in skirmishes which are never truly serious and results in little to no damage of either creature. Although there may come a time when the challenge is serious. (Second in Command)
Gamma (male and female)
Those holding this position are usually if not always the oldest and wisest of the pack. Through their stories and their phrases they pass on to the others within the pack their wisdoms. They delight in telling stories to pups though sometimes what they tell is just legend, but still each story usually has some sort of moral to it. There is usually only one or two who fill this position and normally only one of each gender, especially if they were a prior Alpha pair. Those who hold this position are much respected and loved by the rest of the pack. (Elders)
Delta
They are the pack hunters. They can either gather food or service for the pack or track down the ones that appear threatening. They mostly introduce their recruits to the Alphas to see whether or not other wolves can be accepted. They also protect the pack by fighting off enemies or predators. If there are ones that are threatening the pack, they take on the role of "decoys" till the pack has found safety. Once the "coast is clear", they meet up with the pack hours later. (Hunters)
Epsilon
They are the Guardians of the pack. Their job is to ward off intruders and are responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the pack. They should only resort to violence should peaceful persuasion fail. If they fail mostly the Hunters will take over with them as back up. Because of their calm behaviour the Epsilons are also used as messengers between packs or even towards the outside world. (Guardians)
Omega (male or female)
They are the scape goats of a pack. Often they are picked on by the other wolves and are last to eat. Sometimes things may become so bad that they might even up and leave the pack, though there are those who remain to stick it out. (Lowest Rank)
There are more ranks if you wish to know look in the spoiler, but that shall not be important for this roleplay (yet is allowed to be mentioned). The ranking system goes upon birth, but also skills. A beta put is always more respected as a Delta pup, until they have been ranked. In which case a Beta put could easily be more fitted for the job of an Epsilon.
