1945 - The OSS initiates Operation Paperclip, recruiting scientists from Nazi Germany to conduct research for the USA.
1967 - Mount Massive Asylum for the Criminally Insane. Three scientists are murdered by an unknown patient. Authorities order the asylum to cease all activities.
1972 - CIA Director Richard Helms orders all MKULTRA files destroyed. A small number of documents survive.
2013 - Waylon Park is a software engineer working at Mount Massive for the Murkoff Corporation. After several encounters working directly with an experimental Morphogenic Engine and witnessing crude and horrendous acts, he decides to send an email to Miles Upshur reporting on the corruption of Mount Massive.
Miles Upshur, a freelance investigative journalist, receives an anonymous tip from a source identified only as a whistleblower. The lead tells of inhumane experiments committed at Mount Massive Asylum, a remote psychiatric hospital situated deep in the mountains of Lake County, Colorado and owned by the Murkoff Corporation, who is known for its corrupt dealings
Present Day - Waylon Park has survived the horrific events of Mount Massive and has fully recovered, only to send his recorded experiences to the internet to expose the Murkoff corporation in their corrupt schemes. Military and federal personnel are dispatched to Mount Massive Asylum to further investigate and assess the now public situation for "cleanup".
What waits is something no living being could dare to fathom.

First off, no being "god among men": God modding, irrational means of escape/combat, overpowering an impossible situation, etc. Second, this rp is going to have terrible, horrifying gore and suggestive themes. Blood, guts, all that, so please be mature and mindful of the nature of the rp, and of the universe it exists in.
Death/Alteration of a character's mind, limbs, psychology is possible, as it has to be as realistic as possible. No way everyone comes out all safe and happy go lucky, so be ready.
This is a survival, so SURVIVE. One wrong thought/action makes the biggest difference. Know when to hide/investigate/fight.
