Physical Information - Mason stands at a height of around 5'11, and weighs about 156 lbs.  He's also slender, which allows him to exert skill in things like running fast and parkour (the art of using vaulting and climbing techniques to get to certain locations in a fashionable, yet swift way).

Personality - Mason is overall a more quiet individual, even with his strong spirit.  He's usually kind unless forced into conflict, and won't hesitate to state his argument during debates.  He also has a quick wit when he's both out on the field and off of it.  In other words, he's a fast thinker.  However, this could potentially harm him in some ways, as he thinks so fast that he doesn't think about the consequences.  Needless to say, Mason has gotten himself into trouble a few times because of this trait.

One thing Mason likes to do is take control of situations, even when they are already being controlled by somebody else.  This is most likely a result of his so-called "quick wit".  As a conclusion, Mason Miles has both a kind and aggressive spirit that most people will have to get used to if they have the desire to befriend or work with him.

Mental State - Sane

Background - When the Reapers first attacked, and Mason was a little younger, he and his family met up and joined together in an underground bunker in California, which the parents had paid for and filled up with supplies a few years earlier, mainly due to the fact that they were terrified of even the mere idea of nuclear war.  After the Reapers attacked, however, it seemed like they were an even more serious problem.

Having lived in the bunker for months, surviving on stale food and dirty water, the family eventually ran out, and were forced to leave the bunker to scavenge for food.  For sixth months they did this, basically taking turns.

However, eventually, when it was Mason's turn to go out for the day to scavenge, he was brutally attacked by a Reaper.  Although he had attempted to study the Reapers while he was out scavenging previous days, he had never seen one as vicious and terrifying as this one.

The Reaper, which Mason could only assume was about to rip open his stomach, was now focused on a serious threat: A group of Weavers.  The Weavers had jumped down from the trees and began to attack the Reaper.

After what had seemed like hours of fighting, the Reaper breathed its last breath.  Surprisingly, Mason was still alive, and the Weavers rushed over to his pale body.

Having been severely injured, the voices coming from the Weavers were muffled, "What should we do with him?"

"I don't know, he already lost enough blood as it is."

"There has to be some way...  I'm not about to let this man die from a Reaper attack when we weren't there to help."

"Well, what the hell could we have done?  Flew over in our private jet?  Besides, we didn't even know that this was going to happen.  We were too late; just accept it."

"Wait..."  One of the Weavers said with a bit of hope in his voice, "If we put a core inside of him, that may save his life!"

"Are you crazy?!  We don't even know who this guy is.  He could've been sent by the Reapers for all we know."

"Yeah.  Because Reapers can totally communicate with humans."  The 4th Weaver mumbles sarcastically.

The first Weaver somewhat gave in, "Fine...  We'll bring him back to base and stitch him up, but that's all we're going to do."

And so, the Weavers brought Mason back to their base nearby, where they did their best to stitch him up.

But, unfortunately, it was of no use.  The one Weaver who deemed the idea crazy, who Mason actually figured out later was the squad leader, finally gave in.  Thus, Mason was given a core powerful enough to both allow him to use his threads, and to keep him alive.  The core he received was a Metal Thread core.

However, the one downfall was that if Mason's core ever malfunctioned, his entire body would shut down, and he would die almost immediately.  Fortunately, that hasn't happened yet.

Getting back to the story: After Mason received the core, he stuck around for a little while.

Eventually, a little while became a long while, as he had officially joined Weave and became a Weaver himself.  Sadly, Mason never got the supplies back to his parents, since when he was carried off by the Weavers, he was too disoriented to recall which way the Weavers walked, and none of them seemed to recall the course they took either.  After all, the walk itself did take a couple of hours.

Due to Mason's effort and skill he demonstrated as a Weaver, the Head Leader of the California Weave Base promoted Mason to the Weave HQ Base.  Saying goodbye to his four closest friends who had saved his life all those years ago, Mason started his long journey to Weave Headquarters.

Quirks or Special Traits - To be Revealed

Weapon(s) of Choice - Having never really trained with any specific weapons such as firearms, Mason tends to use his threads the most, in some cases using them to create sharp metal weapons like daggers and swords.

Requested Core - Metal Thread Core; Some weaknesses include Fire Threads and stronger Metal Threads

Requested Rank - Mason's known rank is 4.6 due to his years of experience back at the base in California.

Requested Squad - Squad 4 (I know there are a lot of open spots for Squad Leaders, but I want it to be realistic since he was just promoted to Weave HQ, and it wouldn't really make sense for him to go straight to a Squad Leader at the HQ)

Combat Experience - As mentioned before, Mason is quite experienced in the area of threads and knives, which he creates using his Metal Threads.  However, over at the Weave Base in California, he also picked up on some martial arts.

Reason For Joining Weave - In his early days at Weave, Mason's only reason for joining Weave was the core that would save his life.  However, after seeing the chaos the Reapers have unleashed on the world, he grew the desire to put an end to it.

Position Within Weave - At the base in California, Mason was eventually assigned as the Director of Special Operations (DSO).  Basically, this position allows him to extract Weavers from separate squads and send them on tactical and assassination missions.  In fact, that's what the squad leader at the base in California did, and he had gone on a mission with his fellow Weavers to take down the Reaper that attacked Mason, which they had apparently been watching for some time, observing the strengths and weaknesses it exhibited before they would strike.

However, having been promoted to Weave HQ, he probably will no longer hold that position, and is now simply a Weaver.

Rank 4.6, Squad 4 (Sorry we couldn't give you the rank 5) also your character won't be keeping the position of Director of Special Operations, as the squads aren't large enough to just send single Weavers out (nor are the Reapers weak enough)

@ProRPer

Sorry for how sudden this may be, but because the leader of S2 is no longer a member of the RP we were hoping your character could step in. We already have an event in-universe that can explain the large part of why all this might happen, so you don't have to worry about that part. If not, we do have someone else we might be able to ask though your character's background and experience fits significantly better.
