I don't know if I want to change her name later but for years, this is what I've called her. A little more about her.
Name: Mary (Ayako when she was a human)
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Age: We'll say 25. 125 if you want to be technical with it, if you count the time she was "dead".
Race/Homeland: Human/Undead, Tokyo, Japan
Backstory: I will update this later but this is the basics of it:
Ayako was her name, she was an only child. Her mother and father were very much workaholics so she was on her own most of the time. One day the young woman went for a walk in the woods alone... not knowing she was being silently pursued. There was something, different about this woman... her predators thought. Eventually the figures revealed themselves to her and grabbed hold of her, dragged her off somewhere, tortured her and beat her for their own amusement and sense of power. Her neighborhood was no longer safe, for it had a secret killer... or two so it would seem that nobody knew the name of. Women and children would go missing, missing person's posters plastered up among trees in the woods. Eventually the brothers end up going too far and end up killing her. Not long after she died, she was given a 'second' chance in the afterlife to be reincarnated into something else. She didn't know exactly what she wanted to be, not an angel precisely. Those in charge of Purgatory decided, after long consideration, that she was to be given a new form and sent on her way. Her own personal duty was to protect children from harm, and if there happened to be the spirit or soul of a child she would help guide them the right way, even protecting the souls of children from any other malicious spiritual beings that wished to bring harm upon them, or perhaps attempt to claim them. Also with her new body came a new name - she was known as Mary by those she came across. She has this intimidating appearance for a "guardian" of souls, yet has a motherly vibe to her. She is also quite sassy, and at times a little seductive. Eventually a century passes on Earth and when she returns, she finds that not only are the brothers gone, but to her frustration they lived long lives. She then goes on to find out that once they had passed on they would then go on to become powerful demonic lords, whom had somehow evaded their way of suffering. Perhaps no one knew of their "crimes" on earth? Hopefully one day soon Mary will bring their deeds to light and get her own personal justice. Maybe killing them just won't be enough! // Or, better yet, maybe the brothers were already demons, or they were really a decoy for a bigger threat. Maybe they were "agents", working for a specific being. Her story isn't finalized just yet. Thanks for reading~
