She was a high energy child and now she channels that energy into quidditch, which she loves. She is impulsive, which can lead her to be a bit reckless, but it can also work in her favor on the quidditch pitch. Her mouth moves faster than her brain, which causes her to speak before she thinks and it upsets her when she hurts people, as she is very empathetic. She sticks to her morals and ideologies and it would take a lot for her to change her mind. There are even some things she would never budge on, specifically her opposition to the ideas of blood purity. Coming from a household of both muggles and wizards, she has an appreciation for both worlds and neither are superior to the other.

her story:​

[div class=p]brief bio. Catriona and Hugo Olivier met about a year after Catriona's first husband, William, was tragically killed in a car accident. Catriona didn't ever think she would ever fall in love again, but that all changed. She knew Hugo was special with the way he treated her two year old daughter, Hannah, like she was his. Little did she know, he was a lot more special than she imagined. Hugo was a wizard, coming from a long line of witches and wizards. Catriona didn't care, she knew Hugo was perfect for her and Hannah. A year later, they were married and Hugo permanently relocated to Edinburgh, Scotland from his small hometown in France. Another year passed before Holly was born.

Holly had a happy childhood, being raised bilingually in English and French. Her family was, and continues to be, very tight knit. She spent her days running through Holyrood park and climbing trees. While her sister was more girly, Holly was both girly and sporty. She would kick a ball around with the boys in a pretty dress. She was definitely a rambunctious child and gave her parents a run for their money. She didn't realize how tough things would truly be when she was sent off to Hogwarts.

She knew her sister would not be able to come with her, but she never realized how much she would miss her sister. It took a while for her to adjust being away from her family. She wrote letters daily, but once she settled in, she became less concerned and just looked forward to hanging out with her sister over holiday breaks. Hogwarts had a lot to offer her. She did well in her classes, finding them much more interesting than what she learned in muggle school. She was able to take her love for quidditch and joined the Gryffindor team. Now a sixth year, Holly is struggling to figure out what she wants to do outside of Hogwarts. All she knows is that she doesn't want anything to do with the people who target people like her family and muggleborns.

Delynn can be described very easily as someone who has a large heart, but often gets hurt because she is willing to open herself up. Being raised among other Veela and her mother she got a really different viewpoint of the world. Feeling isolated and distant from other beings and even her own people due to her being a half breed caused her to fold in on herself.

The death of her mother left a large impact on her, the events that followed found her going to school at Hogwarts. Due to her Veela heritage Delynn had several things about her that caused others to look negatively at her. The teasing and jealousy of other girls made Lynn semi-reclusive as well as unsure as to how people truly feel about her. She is unsure if it is her magical attraction making people love her, or if they truly did like her. Keeping this secret has led to Lynn writing herself off as a Pure Blood in an attempt to keep her Veela heritage secret.

Despite her shortcoming Lynn remains a very driven individual. Fiery and fierce when provoked she isn’t to be cast aside. Behind her kindness and compassion lies something very dark, having been nurtured and built over the years. It is a direct consequence to those who torture and make fun of her. She knows its there, but manages to keep a composed and happy viewpoint towards the world. Though, it is becoming harder for her to always keep a smile.

Born in East Berlin, Germany Delynn had not known her father much. Her mother had for the most part kept her inclusive into her style of living. With her mother being a full blooded Veela this upbringing had left a pretty big mark on the girl. The customs and cultural differences had caused her to form a rather interesting viewpoint towards the world around her. However, tragedy struck at the age of 11 for young Lynn.

Lynn had watched her mother die at the hands of Stasi operatives. While the wizarding world was unaffected by the death of the magical being at the hands of the Stasi agents, Lynn was affected. Having watched it take place, Lynn had left her mother and accepted what had occured. Running from the home her mother's last action was in protection and self defense. Sliding down the roof of her home she dropped onto the ground just as a massive burst of fire enveloped the upper area of the home.

Having watched people jumping out of the window to escape the inferno Lynn did the only thing she could do, which was turn and run. Within a day she had been found by aurors seeking out information on the incident. Despite being cold and terrified Lynn was intact and unhurt… the same couldn’t be said for her mother.

With two weeks until the start of her 1st year she was moved back into her Father's home. The following days had left Lynn destroyed. Having blamed herself for her mothers death Lynn vowed to continue hiding what she was despite her father telling her to accept it, and that she wasn't to blame. Sadly, Lynn didn't view it in any other way. She blamed herself for her mothers death, if she hadn't let the kids take her necklace her mother would still have been with her.

Nonetheless, Delynn continued through school. Her repeated social, emotional and physical falling and subsequent rise had given way to something she hadn't ever considered. When attempting her first Patronus, a being of fire erupted, symbolizing that which she knew. She had been reborn in the ashes of her mother's sacrifice.

Hogwarts life:
Her time going to school at hogwarts is best described as tumultuous but very worthwhile. Her magical attraction had alienated her from those that viewed her with jealousy... mostly girls. Due to this she has always seemed to gravitate more towards friendships with men rather than dealing with her own sex. This on its own has caused a whole mass of rumors circulating around Delynn and her relationships with said boys. While she hasn't been in a relationship she knows that some of her friends wished she would be more than just a friend to them. Despite this she has always kept her head held high, especially when she came into Quidditch.

It is in Quidditch that Delynn found a place where she could finally feel comfortable. The feelings of others while they may be present are pushed aside through their combined efforts to win for Ravenclaw. As she continued up through the years at Hogwarts she finally seemed to even out, the angst of her younger years began to disappear. Sadly, what had replaced it was something that was somewhere between good and bad. She developed a sort of loathing towards muggles for what they did to her and her mother, her feelings strong enough for her to talk about it openly, though to only a select few people.

This small, fire-dwelling lizard is born out of flames and lives as long as the flames that spawned it, though it can survive outside them for up to six hours if fed properly. This Patronus represents a person that was born and/or has lived under pressing circumstances but overcomes every obstacle, getting stronger each day. People with this Patronus love challenges and are good at handling stress.

Spoiler: Veela Specific Traits

Veela are described as looking like incredibly beautiful women, with moon-bright skin and white-gold hair that fans out behind them despite the absence of wind. They have the ability to hypnotise and mesmerise most men with their seductive dance, who will then try to impress them.

Veela have their own type of magic which does not require a wand. When Veela are angry, however, they transform into something more like Harpies — their faces turn into cruel-beaked bird-like heads while long scaly wings burst from their shoulders, and they can launch balls of fire from their hands. Veela seem to be quite an irascible race.

As a Half-Veela Lynn has the ability to change into her Harpy form. Though, this is negated through the use of an enchanted necklace. The necklace itself is enchanted to suppress the transformation of Lynn into her other form. It can not be removed by the wearer and can only be removed through outside means.

Thomas is best described as a person of great compassion. Quick to offer his assistance even in situations where he will gain nothing, but have a chance to lose something. His selflessness is a core feature of his personality, wanting to do whatever he can to assist someone or make them feel better if they are down. He seems to have a strong sense of empathy, almost as if he knows how a person is feeling without having to ask them. This often makes people think he is a push over, willing to help anyone no matter how they have treated him in the past. This however its entirely untrue. Like an elephant, he doesn't forget how he sees people treat one another. He is quick to make judgments on people he deems rude, condescending and even malicious and is not afraid to escalate to a physical confrontation if it means getting someone he cares about out of a situation. He is passive until toyed with, which at that point.. another side of him emerges, ruthless and unyielding. However, he does have his limits.. for now.

Thomas's life has been one where he has never known want. He has been given everything he has ever needed to succeed, yet with the ability to gain just about anything, had come a sense of superiority over those that can not do what he is capable of or cannot get what he can. This sunk deep into his mind growing up, through his early years up until about his second year at Hogwarts. It bubbled over and burst to the fore. The whole situation came to a head upon his return home following her first year. The things he was saying surprised his parents, who up until this point her thought would share his feelings of superiority, yet the complete opposite happened.

Taking his son to the side Thomas's father began to explain to him the importance of humility and of those in higher places always being willing to help those who may be struggling or unable to help themselves. That even if someone appears rude, that there may be something happening that he wouldn't be able to see. That while it hurts to be affected by those people his father explained that everyone reacts to stressful situations differently, everyone hurts in their own ways. The lesson was not lost on Thomas, in fact it shattered the whole mental state that he had begun to develop. Seeing his father lower himself to a position of vulnerability was humbling to the young boy. The man he looked up to his entire life due to his strength and resolve told him that strength wasn't something to lord over others. With great strength comes the responsibility to others, to use what you know for the betterment of all rather than strictly power for ones self.

Upon returning for his second year, Thomas had taken what he learned to heart. No longer did he hold his blood purity over the heads of others. Infact, he ceased talking about it, only answering the question of blood purity with "Im a Wizard.". As the years continued, he began to lodge himself into the workings of the school, offering his assistance to all the houses even if it meant causing discomfort to himself.

Hogwarts life:
During his years at Hogwarts Thomas has managed to keep himself on an even footing with as many people as possible. Keeping everyone happy though was not something he ever intended on doing. He has had his run ins with people that thought they could pull the wool over his eyes, but they ended up sorely mistaken when he returned to confront them, all signs of humility and mercy gone. More than a few physical altercations have come out of this, whether him shoving someone away from harassing a student of calling out a student in front of a group due to the bullshit they cause others. He was not one to shy away from confrontation and has a notorious reputation of putting people on blast, not caring who is around. He has always spoke his mind and it has made him quite a few enemies. Though, as time has shown it doesn't seem to bother him in the slightest. This steadfast approach lended him to being recruited into the Gryffindor Quidditch team and over time has helped him to rise to the position of captain, something he is very proud of.

if you are in a class with this girl, you will quickly learn how outgoing and sociable she is. she will talk to practically anyone, make jokes and flirt like there's no tomorrow. it's hard not to be drawn to marlene from her pretty french accent to unique appearance, it's no surprise that she's pretty popular at the school. she isn't the most diligent student, but still manages to get high marks since she's been gifted with the intelligence of her mother, but the attention span of her father. it's rare that you see her studying since she finds it 'dreadfully mundane', but on the occasion she does study, it's usually curled up in a car in front of the common room's fire.

now, the more time you spend with her you will find that she is a very flirty person and isn't shy about it at all. marlene is known for how often she hooks up with people, finding the experience rather exciting and comforting at the same time. she doesn't really do relationships but she likes the physical aspect of dating and will occasionally date for the simple security it provides. this is where she is closed off the most, guarding her heart behind steel doors that refuse to budge. marlene doesn't do vulnerable and will leave the situation as soon as she feels herself being on the vulnerable side of things.

marlene is independent and has been for a long time. while she relies on holly a lot, the girl basically being her sister, she still holds independence close to her heart. this has caused her to get annoyed and frustrated when she gets outside help or protection from people when she hasn't asked for it. she likes to handle things herself as much as possible and feels like a failure if she receives the help of others. this is probably why she became a seeker, wanting to do something on her own essentially, in order to help the team win.

marlene was born in the lovely countryside of france to her loving parents michael and clementine, plus an older brother named marcus. her mother was the whole reason they lived in france as she attended and graduated from beauxbatons as top of the year for her brains, magic and beauty. she quickly made a name for herself as a successful and powerful auror before she met michael while at a quidditch match. since he is a pro player, they met during his match in france.

they fell in love at first sight and dated for a year, going back and forth between england and france before they tied the knot. while both came from pureblood lineage, they decided to raise their future children in a more modern and equal fashion, much to the disapproval of their families. with the birth of marcus, the mckinnon family decided to have a home in the countryside of france so it would be an easier lifestyle for the children. the location wasn't too difficult for the parents as they still could get where they needed for their jobs but it created the distance they needed.

three years later marlene was born and the family was over the moon. she did have some issues with her skin condition and was pretty sensitive as a baby but that was all. her childhood was a very bright on, consisting of days running around their property and learning all about magic and the magical world. it seemed like the only issues she can remember is her parents fighting over where to send the kids for school. michael naturally wanted all his children attending hogwarts just as he did, but clementine didn't, feeling that beauxbatons was safer.

eventually, they compromised, they would allow the children to attend hogwarts but they would go back to france during their breaks and when the kids were in school. this seemed to work and soon enough the family of four moved to england. it was the opposite of the life marlene was used to, no longer living in a place surrounded by grass and trees, but rather buildings and so many wizards. the wizarding world was exciting to her but she did miss france. when marcus enrolled, marlene and her parents returned to france where they remained for three years before she too had to leave for school.

by the time she left for hogwarts, her mother was pregnant with her little sister magnolia, much to her surprise. it wasn't as scary for the girl as many children due to marlene's independent and adventurous personality so she quickly befriended people on the train ride and had a blast. from the moment she stepped in the school, she felt at home with it. the world was buzzing with magic and she adored it. during holidays she would return to france, enjoying the countryside once again, ehr friends occasionally tagging along to enjoy the perks of a wealthy pureblood estate. of course, she understands why it's hard for people to like her, but she always appreciates those who try to befriend her. she is a very gentle and compassionate girl, normally only showing these traits towards magical creatures since she gets along with them better than with people. still, she isn't one to turn a blind eye to someone in need, regardless of how they've treated her. she is the type of person who will stand up for someone that has bullied her because she knows it's not right to let people get hurt or wrongly accused of things.

her personality can seem rather boring to most as she doesn't appear to do anything other than study and answer questions in class, but she is far more than that. if you pay attention to the books she's always reading, you'd see it's about various magical creatures and the best way to handle them. she practically lives newt's book, having been gifted the first edition by her grandparents. this is the only time circe will be very adventurous as her desire for knowledge knows no bounds with creatures. this can cause her to be quite stubborn as she is determined to encounter the creatures and learn about them.

when it comes to things like romance, she is very unsure and inexperienced. she is attracted to people but she isn't very confident in pursuing those feelings because her parents don't show a positive side of love. she doesn't reject it but she's careful when falling for people. this being said, circe is prone to jealousy when she likes someone and other people date them or can comfortably talk with them. this is something rather harmless and what she can get over if she tries to.

you see, her father william rubis came from a pestigeous pure blood family that prides itself on wit and wealth. they have many connections in the ministry, managing to have eyes and ears all over england. this caused every child to be born with standards in might, seeking for another pure blood to continue the line. william was the only one who settled for less, for a muggle. he married heidi, a muggle with influence in her own world, but they had a chemistry that was hard to deny.

heidi aaberg was a muggle with a reputation when she met william, being a professor at cambridge and having a politician for a father. she met william by chance, it was a complete accident, but they hit it off immediately. on her end, he was nothing more than a gorgeous greek lover she would tell all her friends about to make them jealous. their relationship wasn't exactly anything more than physical, their chemistry being off the charts. so when he proposed and she said yes, people were confused by the fact. why would they marry when it was nothing but lust?

regardless, they were married and william caused his family some shame for settling for a muggle, but heidi only got praised for snagging such a fine man. their marriage was less than ideal but they made it work. the magical world suited heidi just fine, the pair having a very lovely home where they planned on having equally lovely children. they had plans and they were going to stick to them. what they didn't plan for was heidi falling in love.

she met another muggle named jakob and they felt the spark between them immediately. the pair had a very secret affair for a long time, managing to be together until heidi fell pregnant. she tried desperately to convince herself it was william's child but when circe was born, it was clear just what she was. it had caused a very large fight between the couple, william almost wanting to kill circe out of pure anger and spite. this was of course, not allowed and they decided to simply raise her as their child. this caused distress for jakob as well since she was his daughter, and he wanted to be part of her life.

circe met her biological father for the first time when she was six years old and that was it. he had gifted her a scrapbook containing dried flowers which she liked very much, and a soft dog plush that smelled like spice and vanilla, the scent he always wore. william was the one who found jakob with circe and it immediately caused a fight. the tall greek wizard demanded that jakob left his daughter and never saw her again. this didn't seem right to jakob so he refused.

william was known for having a very nasty temper and a bad habit of using his magic to express this, so it was no surprise to his family when they were informed of jakob's death. it was ruled an accident after some careful manipulation from william's family. when heidi heard the news, she was very upset and asked if circe was there to see it. william denied that she was, but in reality, she had been there the entire time and saw the whole thing.

after that, her relationship with both her parents began to fade, soon replaced by her younger siblings that were born. circe quickly became an outcast, known as the mistake, the product of an affair. hogwarts was an escape for her, but it still wasn't the best as she got bullied. it was better than being shunned from her own family. this began to change when lily started developing magic. it was pretty simple for her to control her magic, doing things as easily as opening and closing the petals of a pretty flower she found on her way home from school. then came the incident when she jumped off the swings, flew higher into the air than what was possible and landed lightly on her feet. this is what ultimately led to her meeting the poor boy severus snape that lived in spinner's end. he was the one who told lily she was a witch and informed her all about the magical world of witches and wizards.

they quickly became best friends, playing together and excitedly waiting for their hogwarts letters. her friendship with the boy didn't go unnoticed by her family, petunia making a snide comment about him in a poverty-stricken neighborhood and that he probably had fleas. that was the first time lily stood up to her sister and defended her best friend, ultimately causing the first rift between the sisters. lily's magic also caused problems for the family as petunia began to grow very jealous of her and demanded to go to hogwarts as well.

when she turned 11, she received her letter and to the disappointment of her sister, she was the only one of the evans that received one. the pair got into a huge spat the day she left, petunia screaming that lily was a freak and she needed to be sent away so that 'normal' people would be safe from her. that broke the young witch's heart and it has always been a very sensitive thing to her since. severus was her only ray of light on the train ride, sticking close to him so they could talk and make plans for being sorted into the same houses.

lily had run-ins with james and sirius on the train and quickly fought with them when they bullied severus, deciding that she did not care for either boy at all. upon arriving at hogwarts, she and severus hoped to be placed in the same house but were ultimately separated into two very different ones. this didn't matter to lily, but she was very annoyed when both sirius and james were in gryffindor as well. but she did get sorted with her future best friends, marlene and holly. she had a really fun time during school, excelling greatly with charms and potions, quickly being invited to the slug club.

holidays were difficult for lily as she would go home and be met with the contempt of her sister and was shunned by her old friends. this caused the red-head to visit the homes of her other friends so that she didn't feel so excluded. nothing in particular happened, other than her standing up for severus, that is until the fifth year. james and sirius had been bullying severus severely which she stepped in and stood up for him, still considering him a dear friend of hers. due to his embarrassment, he lashed out at lily and called her a filthy mudblood in front of everyone, hurting the girl a lot.

when severus tried to apologize, she couldn't accept it, especially since he still planned on becoming a death eater. lily ended their friendship there and moved on, deciding that if he didn't want to be helped, she couldn't force him to accept it. Selene was born in England to a Korean father and English mother. Her father actually grew up in North America and attended Ilvermorny, before moving to England to work, where he met her mother. She has an older brother (2 years older), currently a Gryffindor seventh-year. Her family is quite wealthy, and Selene and her brother grew up with few wants in their mansion.

Her lycanthropy was nothing but a tragic mistake, yet it could have been avoided. One of the newer staff in her family's mansion, a gardener, was a werewolf. At the time, the background checks done on potential staff were fairly loose, and he slipped through the cracks. The man was rather irresponsible as well; although he seemed to be very attentive when it came to his work, he was unbelievably careless about his condition. At the first full moon after he was hired, he transformed into a werewolf, of course, and he had not taken any precautions, such as making up an excuse to leave the house on the day or similar. 8-year-old Selene, to great misfortune, had been out on the grounds, peacefully reading a book alone by the pond.

When the gardener-turned-werewolf approached, Selene immediately screamed and started to run. Her screams drew the attention of her parents and other staff, and they came running. Her parents, skilled magic practitioners, made quick work of the gardener, and he soon turned tail and ran off howling in pain. But they were too late. The werewolf had already bitten Selene, and by the time they rushed to her, her left arm was already bleeding profusely.

The mansion's Potions Master was summoned immediately, and he brought with him the mixture of powdered silver and dittany required to seal the wound. From then on, though, many changes were made in the mansion to accommodate Selene's new condition, and to prevent future accidents. The recruitment process became extremely strict, and at least two or three wizards/witches were hired and assigned to each family member for extra protection. These 'bodyguards' would follow them around, at a safe distance. Many people whispered about the family, feeling that such measures were highly excessive. But Selene's parents never forgave themselves for the loose lifestyle in the mansion before, and had no intention of letting any such attentions happen ever again. Selene and her brother were kept under careful scrutiny, their schedules regulated rigorously.

Selene's lycanthropy was kept tightly under wraps. The few staff that had witnessed the incident either had to make an Unbreakable Vow with her parents, or were Obliviated. And whenever the full moon approached, the mansion's Potion Master (also under an Unbreakable Vow), brewed a powerful dose of Sleeping Draught, and administered it to Selene, sending her into a deep sleep every transformation. The first time she came home from Hogwarts, she immediately requested for the Potions Master to teach her how to brew the potion, so that she could brew it for herself. At Hogwarts, under Dumbledore's instructions, she took private Charms lessons with her Head of House Professor Flitwick (only recently hired and yet brave enough to undertake the task). Although they did go through various Charms for real every week, she would spend the evening of the full moon sleeping in the Charms classroom under Flitwick's watchful eye. Her friends believed that her taking extra lessons was due to her family's high standards and expectations (as the family was known to be very strict on their children).

Although Selene was already a very obedient and studious child before, the incident only made her want to work harder, to compensate in some way for the huge trouble and burden she feels she has wrought upon her family. She had to be better, be the best. She threw herself into her studies, and once she came to Hogwarts, she made sure to be active in her extracurriculars too. She would accept nothing less than the high standards she set for herself, if only to make it up to her family somehow. She must be perfect.

Background: The youngest of three daughters in the House of Black, Narcissa was raised with the concept of blood purity, same as any of her cousins and siblings. Even as a child, she was much closer to Bella than she was to Andromeda, since the latter had always expressed some disagreement when it came to the family's philosophies.

Unbeknownst to many, the Sorting Hat debated on placing her into Gryffindor for a few seconds, before it was quickly shut down by Narcissa's demand to sort her into Slytherin immediately. Narcissa does fairly well in her classes, although she's no model student. She prefers the times when she's free to fly on the pitch because as much as she loves her family, she has to admit that their constraints can feel rather heavy after a while.

Ashwin was born to a Muggle-born father and half-blood mother, both of whom are British Indians. Both of them work at the Ministry of Magic; his father is in the Department of International Magical Cooperation, whereas his mother is an Auror, albeit not a high-ranked one. He has two younger sisters and one younger brother, aged 8, 13 and 10 respectively. Their family is fairly middle-class; they have just enough to live comfortably, in their decent-sized two-storey house.

Ashwin had an average childhood, with the usual ups and downs. The only thing that stands out is that since his mother was usually busy with her Auror job, it was usually him and his father taking care of his younger siblings. As a child of a Muggle-born and a half-blood, and the child of two Indians, he also grew up with a very open perspective towards everything, since he knew for himself what it was like to be subject to unfair judgment. He didn't get bullied, no, but he definitely noticed the looks some people gave him and his family when they passed by.

Rhionnan excelled in her time at Hogwarts. She was sorted into Gryffindor, like the rest of her family, but was a hatstall and was nearly placed into Ravenclaw. Personality: Regulus is obedient without a falter, a follower with dedicated precision. As a member of the Black family and their treasured son, the boy has an intense presupposition to loyalty. Loyal to his friends, loyal to any cause deemed worthy, but most importantly he is loyal to his family. There is very little that can come between him and the wishes of his parents. Though Orion and Walburga were not exactly the most doting parents, Regulus still wanted to impress them greatly. Perhaps this stemmed from their harsh cold ways, following their word to the T resulting in the only affection they allowed to escape their hearts.

In school Regulus much resembles his parents. Cold and unflinching, terribly dismissive to anyone he deems is not worth his time. This does not mean he holds arrogance, though. It is simply the necessity of being a Black. Blacks do not speak to certain people. Regulus is a purist not because he thinks non-purebloods are inferior, but simply because it is what to be expected. Admittedly, the boy has little patience for the overly excited type, but other than that his feelings towards his fellow peers are fairly neutral. This isn't to say he doesn't make friends. Well, "friends" is perhaps a word too complicated for the boy. Regulus appreciates the company of his allies, rewarding them handsomely for their continued loyalty and not forgetting those who betray him.

Internally, Regulus is a far bit more complicated than he lets on. Being nothing but a glorified rule follower has left the boy confused as to who he truly is. All of his fascinations, obsessions, and desires seem fraudulent and out of place. It isn't uncommon for him to secretly wish he was simply Regulus without the Black name attached. Or for him to wish he were more like Sirius. The inability to be completely and organically himself has left him with an intense bitterness within. Anger that can only be dampened but never truly put out. Be careful if you cross Regulus, his revenge will be cold and slow with the full force of his inner turmoil behind it.

Bio: Regulus was the second born son to Walburga and Orion Black, stepping into the name with apparent ease and grace. Despite his status as the younger sibling, Regulus has never suffered from living in his older brother Sirius' shadow. If anything it was the opposite. The younger Black was never one to dawdle along mindlessly behind his brother. No, he saved that idolization for his father. The stoic man commanded nothing but the utmost respect, and Regulus was happy to oblige. Catering to his father's every will and perhaps even slighting his brother on the way.

As a child, Regulus had never been the rambunctious sort. Rather he was poised and polite, quietly lurking about and eavesdropping into conversations that didn't concern him. Ages 8-10 Regulus was probably at his most insufferable. The boy spied mercilessly on his brother, listening in to his conversations with friends and reporting back to his father any unsavory comments. Honestly, Regulus only worsened the divide between Sirius and the rest of the family. Though the boy will vehemently deny any of this now, he used to be proud to show his father how loyal he was.

Regulus' first year at Hogwarts was rather unremarkable, his sorting into Slytherin both expected and near-instantaneous when the hat touched his curls. Back in those days, the boy was much quieter and kept to himself. He was simply an observer, a wallflower. Though after his first year his presence at the school only grew. He shed his skin as the introverted young boy and grew into his role as the "powerful" Black brother. Alliances formed, enemies made. His father always said that while there is power in allies, the most powerful man would have the most powerful enemies. Not that Regulus cared much about power, but every move he made was to show his father that he was able to live up to the expectations.

4th year was Regulus' best, he joined the Quidditch team and discovered his love for being a seeker. It wasn't anything huge, but it was a chance for Regulus to explore something that he really felt was his own. Not the bidding of his parents or something he was doing because of his status as a Pureblood. It was pure, unadulterated Regulus.

Personality: James is a bit rough around the edges, to put things simply. The boy is easily excitable, bouncing around from friend to friend like an over-energetic ball of energy. He enjoys being the center of attention, often doing rude and silly things just for a laugh or two. He can even come across as a bit of a jerk or a bully, taunting his fellow peers (mostly Slytherin) simply because he can. His cockiness keeps him from seeing the wrong in his actions, and often his friends have to be the voice of reason for him. James is a fairly "nice" guy in his intentions, but sometimes his actions tell a different story.

Coming from a pureblood family that despises the bigoted, purist rhetoric, James happily reflects their feelings. To him, blood status is extremely unimportant, and judging someone on something they cannot control is absolutely ridiculous. Despite James' antics, he is always one to defend half-bloods or muggle-borns against rude Purebloods. He's gotten into more than a few arguments with the purist type and isn't afraid to do it again and again. He doesn't stand for those who are meanspirited in nature. When it comes to people he disagrees with, he can be abrasive and doesn't back down for anyone.

James is incredibly courageous, and while he has many fears he never lets them get the best of him. In fact, the rowdy boy is a bit of a thrill-seeker. Turning down a dare is unprecedented for him. Bio: Born the only child to the Potter's, James has never faced a shortage of doting love from his parents. Growing up as a wealthy Pureblood, he certainly had many privileges that other children did not. From a young age, he received tutoring and studied magic, despite the fact that he didn't particularly care for school or learning. The hyperactive boy would much rather spend his time outside playing with friends or fighting with imaginary foes. He didn't realize how sheltered his upbringing was until he arrived at Hogwarts and met students who didn't think as he or his parents did.

James' first year was a bit of a wake-up call. He attended school and walked around greatly naive to the events stirring in the real world around him. It wasn't until he was called a blood traitor by a fellow student that he bothered to actually ask questions. Up until this point, he assumed the animosity was coming from him being a Gryffindor and being rivals to Slytherins. But when he returned home after he faced his first year, he was educated more specifically on the values his parents taught him. Love everyone for who they are, for they cannot help where they come from. Muggleborns and Half-Bloods were no different than he, and so he wouldn't treat as if they were lesser.

Returning to school, James was slightly more abrasive in his second year. Getting into countless scuffles and duels with anyone who made fun of those who weren't of the "proper" blood status. Even despite his competitiveness, he didn't mind getting house points taken away if it meant he stopped a bully. Of course at the same time, James was developing into a bit of a bully himself. Luckily for the students, his friends did a decent enough job at keeping him from going too far. Mischief was supposed to be done without unfairly hurting people, and James tries his best to keep himself true to that.

Quidditch was a natural step for the overly competitive boy, finding a natural talent in his position as Beater. His competitiveness continued off the field as well, his infatuation with Lily developing sometime during their fourth year. Of course, the girl hardly ever gave Potter the time of the day, but he wasn't exactly one to back down. Since then, he's been going out of his way constantly to attempt impressing her. Maybe someday.

- five-year-old remus was sleeping soundly in his bed and greyback broke into his bedroom
- lyall arrived in time to keep his son from being killed, successfully driving greyback out but he managed to claw remus and infect him
- after being infected with lycanthropy, his parents took him to various healers to turn him back to a normal boy
- there was no cure so they had to learn to live with it
- albus dumbledore heard about this and personally visited the family and made accommodations for the young lupin to happily attend hogwarts like all wizards

The young boy was eventually taken in by a family friend. He'd never heard of him. In fact, he'd never heard of anything regarding the people in Joselina's life. The Illios family, however, was very welcoming for the most part and taught him a lot more about the magical world. Mr. Illios was especially kind to him even if Mrs. Illios was not. They'd even had twin children around Caio's age for him to play with. Niccolo quickly became his best friend, but Hael was a different story. Their complex relationship started off as a friendship. Caio soon found himself falling for kindness and he was overjoyed when he learned that she felt the same. He was even happier when she chose the same house as him. At the age of 13, however, he realized it was all a lie. The last 5 years of his life were spent chasing after a girl that was playing around with him. Hael found sick pleasure in manipulating his feelings for her. Because of that, he tries his best to avoid her but he can't help but help her whenever she asks for it.
