Thorn is the grandson of a former MaouBlue ranger, his grandmother, and is from a noble family in his realm. He's the second of 5 children and from a young age, he was their only source of comfort and affection. His older brother was trained relentlessly by his father who was the current MaouBlue ranger at the time and his mother was an alcoholic who was forced into an arranged marriage and spent her days in the garden, drowning her sorrows with a shot glass.

His grandmother, for a long time, was the only one who truly seemed to care for him aside from his younger siblings. When his older brother died when Thorn was only 9, all of his father's attention was shifted to him, all the training and the pressure was placed on him. His father, despite his status, wasn't a kind man. He demanded perfection and he had intended to get it even if it meant verbal and physical abuse if what Thorn did wasn't up to his standards. Thorn managed to endure it , however. He had his grandmother there to comfort but soon, she died as well. Now alone, unwilling to burden his younger siblings with his problems, he became more and more closed off. He remained a source of comfort who watched over them but he never truly let them in and they were too young to notice his pain, something he could never blame them for.

Upon becoming 16, Thorn was forced to make a pact with a demon beast, something he was worried about doing but would never regret. He bonded with beast called Baal who soon become one of his closest companions. Now his father has grown ill and is no longer capable of training him, instead focusing on running the company he owns.

History: Ignatius Advantage's paternal grandfather Pax Advantage was the last MaouRed, while his maternal grandmother Sophia was the last MaouSilver. Since he was a child, many saw fit to compare Ig and his parents to the two of them. Victor and Emeralda Advantage never let these comparisons get to them, Ig began to feel a growing inadequacy with himself. Pax Advantage was a hero who wielded crimson flames and led the MaouRanger to victory over their enemies. Sophia was a matronly woman who traveled the Netherworld helping children wherever she went. When Ig was ten, his father was killed, the only evidence of his killer being a black feather. Shortly after which his mother passed on from a lifelong illness, passing her mothers sword onto her son. Pax took Ig in and trained him to be MaouRed in the event that the Netherworld faced a great threat and the MaouRangers needed to be assembled once more. However unlike the MaouRed who came before him, Ig couldn't use the Crimson Flame. The Crimson Flame was a powerful Fire Magic used by the previous MaouRed's to defeat and seal away their enemies in all encompassing flames. Even his Grandfathers Demon Beast, the mighty Garuda refused to form a pact with him. Ig was also inept at using the GarudaKen, the longsword used by MaouRed. Although Pax never gave up on him, it was clear to all who looked on that Ig was not fit to be MaouRed. Still, Ig trains with his inherited blade and continues his studies in magic in hopes of overcoming his inadequacies to become MaouRed. Recently Ig was chosen to be the caretaker for the imprisoned Demon Beast Fenris.

History:
Kaolin isn't related to any former MauoRanger, though members of her mother's family have often been considered to represent the Hunter tribe in the team. As such she received special training just in case and while she was far from her generation's strongest magic user or fighter she was above average in both magic and combat and showed promise when it came to using the bow. While they of course hoped it was never necessary for her to form a contract with a Demon Beast, Kaolin's family wanted her to be prepared in case it ever did come to that. As such both her parents taught her plenty of useful non combat skills as well and made sure she had at least some knowledge of the human world. As such the Stone's spent about one month a year in a small town using the excuse that they were there on vacation. Kaolin never really liked those trips cause she always felt like an outsider but she knew her parents' reasoning and thus never complained about it.

Lately when not training she has been sneaking off to watch the Demon Beasts with the excuse that she is trying to form a bond with them. In reality though it's just so she can be alone for a while as the pressure her parents unintentionally place on her does affect her, not that she minds all the training and such. As a result of these trips she has actually grown somewhat close to the giant ram Amun.

History: Angela Dismone had to work hard to be strong. In her tribe, they needed to be strong. That was their purpose. To defend the other tribes from the dangers that lurked ever much all around them. She wasn't descended from any great hero. Angela was from a family that worked hard and was from a line of Guardian Core members. Her parents, her grandparents, her great grandparents, etc were all protectors of the realm. She was trained hard by her family and teachers to be strong and defend others by crushing the enemy. She was not the smartest in the world, unless it came to combat tactics which she somehow flocked to like a fish to water. The flow of combat was important to her, to inflict the most damage while taking the least amount. She was honestly surprised when she was chosen to be Maou Ranger Green, but has vowed that she will be up to the task and crush all their enemies before her.

_History: Dion Katsaros the eldest grandson of the former MaouBlack, his late paternal grandmother Eris Ambrosia. The pressure and expectations from being the direct descendants of the former MaouBlack had taken a toll on his father, making him obsessed with keeping up expectations leading to making his kids go through strict, borderline abusive training to make the perfect successor if the world ever needed the MaouRangers again. Dion was subject to this training the most, being the eldest. While he was far from good when it came to magic, he was exceptionally great when it came to martial arts and melee combat in general. Eventually, his mother couldn’t take in anymore and they got a divorce when he was 10. Unfortunately for Dion, he was taken by his father while his younger siblings were taken by his mother.

Though at the age of 15, his father died to stress and suffered a heart attack. In that time, Dion was forced to attempt pacts with demon beasts. He had gotten close to Morrigan, the giant and angry bird. While their first encounter almost ended with Dion gaining a fatal injury, they had eventually grown to become closer to each other. Being left alone with Morrigan were one of the few peaceful moments he had during this time. After his father died, he went on to live with his mother and younger siblings. He had a hard time adjusting to this new life, though he eventually got used to it. He still trains by himself occasionally and visits Morrigan when he can, though he also has new hobbies that give him a peace of mind such as cooking, surfing and blacksmithing.
