Regions

The planet Nava: Manara is the only continent, circling the entire globe of the planet Nava. It is massive!
NAva.jpg

The Great River: a continuous river that runs from one side of Manara to the other. It is massive!
TheGreatRiver.jpg

The Red Forest: a massive forest filled with giant trees known as Russell Trees.
TheRedForest.jpg

The Wastes: a land barren of mana or dying mana, right beside the Icy Region of Manara.
TheWastes.jpg

Mana Lands: Russell Tree's from The Red Forest mutated, sucking mana from nearby areas, creating The Wastes. Along with Manara Wisps, guardians born from the overwhelming amount of mana within the forest. They tower in size.
ManaLands.jpg

Swampland of The Shore: swampland right on the coast of Manara. A giant marshy jungle full of exotic and dangerous wildlife and fauna.
SwamplandOfTheShore.jpg

Mountains of The North: a giant mountain range, full of massive mountains and rocky pillars. It sits at the north-eastern point of Manara, blocking passage to the Forbidden Lands. It is the biggest mountain range in all of Manara.
MountainsofTheNorth.jpg

The Central Forest: a giant forest spreading throughout the center of Manara, almost touching from one side to the other. Because of the dangerous and ancient wildlife within the forest many stray around it. Because most civilized nations only log lumber from the forest, they're not kingdoms, only evil monster settlements. They're a lot of traces of ancient civilizations with a lot of rubble and monuments that still standing.
CentralFOrrest.jpg

Tribal Lands: akin to a great plain, the Tribal Lands is massive plain, the biggest in Manara. Here monsters trying to become civilized have setup small villages and tribes, keeping to themselves in a somewhat peaceful manner, unlike the monsters within The Central Forest.
OIG.jpg

The Great River Desert: a massive desert, the only one in Manara. Usually following The Great River through the desert is how one crosses it onto the mainland. You see, the desert runs from north to south on the western part of Manara, blocking The Liza and Rel kingdoms from passing onto the mainland.
Desert.jpg

Elden Forest: home to Elden Tree's, the biggest trees on the planet. They're primordial and have soaked in so much mana through their roots that they begin to float high into the sky creating a natural wonder. Located on the eastern most part of Manara.

Kingdoms

Kingdom of Liza: capital city known as Russell, home to the Immortal Queen Liza, built into the heart of The Red Forest and heavily protected. The castle known as Marble is massive and larger in width than even the biggest of Russell Tree's, towering above any other building and can be seen from anywhere in the city.
The Kingdom of Liza.jpg

Kingdom of Rel: Beast King Ricolo's domain, Kingdom of Rel's only city, named Ricolo after the Beast King. In the outskirts of Manara deep into The Wastes can be found a refuge. A safe haven for those who have no home. Resources are far and few between, but somehow with the help of The Beast King, they manage.
Kingdom of Ricolo.jpg

Kingdom of Grog: Grog's capital city, Bantan, the swamplands hidden city. Mad King of Grog, the Immortal Zoto lives here. Home to many beastfolk and monsters that reside in the swamp, mostly Naga (snake people). It is also home to a giant structure, towering over even Russell Tree's, known as The Bulb. Built on top of and around ancient swampland trees full of green forest mana, very pure mana that had been accumulating for millennia. Twisted and shaped by ancient mages to look and function the way it does today! People come here to empower their charms with excessive amounts of pure mana to make them more powerful, however doing so is expensive!
Grog.jpg

Kingdom of Zagron: only city which is also called Zagron. Here the human king Byfen Zagfrost lives. It is located under the eastern part of The Central Forest, just across the bay from Eldencore. It is mostly home to humans.
Zagron.jpg

Kingdom of Venhar: Venhar is a dwarven nation, the capital city is known as The Forge. Here is a massive forge that harness the heat from a fissure that leads deep into the crust of the earth, reaching into the mantle. Reaching untold temperatures with the help of ancient dwarven techniques the forge can allow a master blacksmith to reach quality of weapons and armor that rival even those made at the aethereal forge located in Roth. Located below the Mountains of The North, in the eastern part of Manara off the coast.
OIG.YJx614.jpg

Kingdom of Rothdane: they have many cities at the central northern part of Manara. However notably one of them with the name Roth, the capital city, which is also home to the human king, Nox Rothfire, is also home to the ancient aethereal forge. Here is where the best weapons and armor are crafted by master blacksmiths, they cost a lot though!
ROthdane.jpg

Kingdom of Eldencore: this elven kingdom considers themself to be the core of the Elden Forest, protecting it from those who wish to harvest the trees for their mana. They build their cities on the land that some of the trees float up with them. Their technology is on a different level than anywhere else in the world except for Roth and Dungeon City. Tapping into the innate magic within the trees allows them to incorporate magical technology into their everyday lives, allowing them to power things that wouldn't be possible to otherwise. They have teleporters that take them from island to island and even to their ground cities. The capital city is called Eldendale. Named after their first king, Dale.
EldenCore.jpg

Dungeon City: an ungoverned city, ruled by the city's guild. At the heart of Dungeon City is an aethereal dungeon, as ancient as the planet itself. It is a dungeon with many layers and floors going down into the crust, with the deepest floor to have been explored being 31. The monsters inside aren't sentient and can't be found anywhere else in the world, the look like the spawns of demons. They drop valuable loot used in all sorts of crafts, but it is dangerous to get. It is rumored every 50 floors a boss room will appear. It started as a town of adventurers but grew into a massive city! The guild is called The Guild and takes all sorts of adventurers with rankings.

Races

- Common Races -

Humans
: the most common race, inhabiting most of Manara. They're very curious and are born with a moderate amount of mana, not too much, not too little. Depending on heritage could be more, could be less. They stand between 5ft and 7ft tall.
Human.jpg

Elves: elves usually are only found in the Elden Forest, apart of the Eldencore kingdom. A massive nation of technologically advanced elves, although they do let any common race live there, the kingdom is mostly elves. They have an innate massive reserve of mana! Way larger than any other race, except for some monsters. They stand between 5ft and 8ft tall.
Elves.jpg

Dwarves: usually are found in underground cities, high up on mountains and cliffs or living in the dwarven kingdom of Venhar. They have the lowest reserve of mana in the common races, relying on their surperior weapons, armor and burly strength. They stand between 3.5ft and 6ft tall.
Dwarf.jpg

- Monsters -

Orcish
: orcish common ancestors are the elves. But quickly became outcasts because of the vast mana inside them, more than any other race. They're a group of elves that mutated to have pure, green mana rushing through them. Giving them green skin and the biggest mana reserve out of any race, except for immortals. On top of the large mana reserves, they also have immense physical strength. In the past most of them were hunted down and killed, now very few orcish tribes exist in the Tribal Lands. They stand between 5ft and 9ft tall.
Orc.jpg

Gobish
: similarly to the orcish, the gobish share a common ancestor with dwarves instead. They're short and burly like a dwarf, but contain immense mana reserves, once again turning their skin green. Not as much as the orcish though! They too have settlements in both the Tribal Lands and The Central Forest, except those forest settlements are usually evil and want to be kept to themselves or ransack other kingdoms and villages. They stand between 3.5ft and 6ft tall.
OIG.TrowveVmsr1BANs.jpg

Blood Elves: similar to the orcish, blood elves share a common ancestor with elves. However, blood elves have innate blood magic skills, similar to vampires but do not need to drink blood and can go out during the daytime, they just don't have the immortality vampires do, so all forms attacks will hurt them, not just holy magic. They have white or dark gray skin, red eyes, and have very little mana. They can use their magic skills very few and far between, relying on a more roguelike fighting style to compensate. This works in their favor because they are the fastest race, except for the beast races. Most can be found living in the Tribal Lands, Central Forest or in the kingdom of Rel.
OIG (12).jpg

Tamu: the tamu are a sub-race of beastfolk. Taking on the forms of actual animals, except with a consciousness. They live in the Tribal Lands and are usually accompanied by the gobish. They come in all different forms of animals! They have some mana, but not a lot, relying on their senses much like regular beastfolk. But are more agile and have better senses, being able to detect spirits.
OIG (10).jpg

Beastfolk: a race made up of beast folk, they all look different and take on many different appearances from more beastlike to more humanoid. They're usually around 6ft to 9ft tall. They live in both the Tribal Lands and The Central Forest, with those living in the forest being more aggressive. They have little to no mana but make up with this with their keen senses, agile movement, and abnormally strong physical strength. They also have the ability to sense other beastfolk if a part of the same lineage.
BEastfolk.jpg

Alpha Beastfolk: a rare form of beastfolk that is taller, stronger, faster, better keen senses, they even have a mana pool rivaling orcish. They appear more beastlike in appearance and have a innate ability to sense mana and spirits. It is rumored 1 out of every 10,000 beastfolk is born as an alpha! Making them an extremely rare race. They stand between 9ft to 15ft tall.
OIG (11).jpg

Naga: a race of beings with the lower half of their bodies resembling a snake, with living snakes coming out from the bottom of their tails to act as a guard for them. They have gray/blue/green skin and yellow glowing eyes. They live in the swampland. They stand around 8ft to 10ft tall. They have a lot of mana in their reserves and make great swimmers being able to hold their breath for a long time. They usually have innate water magic skills. The have the ability to grow scales at will, making for good natural armor. Naga are often hunted for these tough, durable, scales and find refuge in the swampland or Grog.
Naga.jpg

Golem: the most common type of golem are forest golems. Forest golems patrol many of the forests in Manara, seemingly born from the land itself. Protecting the forests and wildlife. They're fierce and deadly, the only known sentient forest golem is Beast King Ricolo. They're many different types of golems, stone golems, fire golems, water golems, so on and so forth. Many different types, some born from nature, some born from mana and magic, some used for war! They stand between 2ft to 20ft tall.
OIG.Od6kuLVTdLfT4KlLDP.jpg

Titamir: golems created at the aethereal forge, these golems are special because they are infused with a soul, giving them consciousness to the dead person once again. They tower in size and literally require a fortune to create. Very few titamir exist and the ones that do are used as guardians, pack mules, or for other nefarious reasons like war. They can stand anywhere between 5ft all the way up to 50ft! Some are adorned with wings and other body parts to make them more efficient and deadly. Some can be humanoid in size which are usually referred to as Valkyries. The titamir that tower in size are usually called Titans.
OIG (7).jpg

The Cursed: the cursed are a special race, similar to the immortals. Any race can become a cursed. A cursed one is those who have been inflicted with a disease or curse that turns them into an undead that can only be killed with the use of holy magic. Vampires and werewolves are the most common. Vampires can go out during the daylight but cannot use any of their magical power and take increased damage. At nighttime is when they reach peak potential. Werewolves in Manara do not revert back to a human form, many confuse them with beastfolk, but instead were human or whatever race before. The only difference is werewolves have access to unique skills, as do vampires.
OIG (6).jpg

The Immortals: there are a few ways to become an immortal. Consume as much many as you can, either by nature or experimentation and if you survive you become an immortal. Divine intervention through blessing and curse is another way. Immortals cannot have babies. Upon becoming an immortal your mana reserves become one of the biggest on the planet, seemingly never running out. They undergo a shift in appearance making them appear very beautiful and/or unique. They're fast, agile, incredibly strong, and cannot die. DUring the mana consuming process only 0.1% of people survive, becoming an immortal without divine intervention is like winning the lottery.
