Talent/Technique: Dezo has an innate talent for shadow magic. He can shape the darkness to his whims.

Skills:

- Shadow Monarch: Allows Dezo to become the king of the shadows and manipulate them to his every whim. On top of his already previous talents, when he was granted his greatness desire, it was to become the greatest warrior using the power bestowed upon him, his innate shadow magic and save those from his fate. Upon seeing his desire and wishes, the divine granted him with the title of Shadow Monarch. He can collect shadows to use later, covering entire areas with his darkness so that he can materialize shadows wherever he wishes. He can conjure shadow beings to help him fight. He has an entire shadow domain that he can store stuff (and people) inside by swallowing them with his shadows. He can create weapons, armor and clothes out of shadows that is strong and durable, materializing into actual matter. Like I said, complete mastery of the shadows.

Personality: Dezo is shy, quiet, and awkward. Angry at the world, yet hopeful. He is also dependable and vows to get the job done, whatever that may be, at any cost. He values bonds.

Background: Dezo, a shadow mage from the slums, lost his family to the gallows because he was caught stealing a large sum of gold. He escaped from prison and lived in the sewers, doing dirty jobs for money and booze. One night, he dreamed of a voice that offered him the power of the shadow monarch, and told him to seek the witch of the green flame. He woke up with a mark of red wings on his hands, and a new purpose in life. He left the sewers and became an adventurer, hoping to change the world for the better. He found a bounty that led him to the tribal lands, where the witch awaited him. Fate, it seems.

Where are they from?: Tribal Lands, Tribe of the Hammersoul.

Talent/Technique: Eri has limited reserves of mana and relies on her strength and tribe's hidden hammer technique. The technique is sacred to her tribe, traditional, passed down for generations. Eri is the daughter of the chieftain, an alpha beastfolk and inherited the demon weapon, Tribal Soul, an ancient and enigmatic weapon capable of eating magic. It has its own personality and can talk, giving Eri either helpful advice or a hard time. Eri incorporates this into her fighting style. Because of the divine gift she was able to unlock the power to imbue her hammers with whatever type of magic she wants, innately without training. Though this is taxing on her body, as it drains her mana.

Skills:

- Divine Imbuement: Like the name suggests, this is Eri's greatest desire. She has always had a fascination with magic, but being able to cast limited amounts of it made her sad. So, she was given the power to imbue her weapons and objects with any kind of magic she wants, even unique magic, though the divine chose not to increase her mana as the power given to her was great. She doesn't know how to cast magic, only imbue it.

Personality: Eri is fierce and playful, full of energy and always looking for an opportunity to test her strength as a warrior.

Background: Erikah “Eri” is a young beastfolk girl who belongs to the Tribe of the Hammersoul, a proud and ancient clan of warriors who specialize in using hammers as their weapons of choice. Eri was born with a low amount of mana, the source of magic in the world, which made her unable to cast spells like most other beastfolk. However, she also received a rare and powerful ability from the gods who wished to know her greatest desire, which was magic, taking pity on the young beastfolk the gods decided to give Eri an incredible magical power, but in return they wouldn't increase her mana, the power is: Divine Imbuement. This skill allows her to channel her mana into her hammer, enhancing its power and granting it various effects depending on the type of magic she uses, even unique magic.

Eri’s hammer is not an ordinary one, but a legendary weapon passed down through generations of Hammersoul chieftains. It is called the Tribal Soul, a sentient hammer that can communicate. The Tribal Soul has a strong and stubborn personality, often clashing with Eri’s playful and adventurous nature. However, the two share a deep bond of trust and respect, and together they form a formidable duo in battle. The Tribal Soul has the unique ability to eat mana and magic and makes for a good offensive and defensive weapon.

Eri’s story is one of overcoming challenges and discovering her true potential. She faces many enemies and dangers, both from within and outside her tribe, as she strives to uphold her tribe’s honor and traditions. She also encounters many friends and allies, who help her grow and learn along the way. Eri’s journey is a reflection of her tribe’s motto, which she recites before every fight: “In strength, we thrive; in tradition, we honor; in adversity, we rise.”

Ku'Kalgo: Ku'Kalgo is an ancient and old spectral beast, it takes on the form of a black ghostly snake who helps Katherine with combat and mischief. It has the power to fly around freely, being agile and fast and can use Katherine's mana reserves to cast any type of magic, except for unique magic. This serpent's power was her greatest desire bestowed upon her from the gods, as she wanted to become the best summoner in her heritage and finally put her family's name in the books to raise their influence within the kingdom to make necessary changes to improve elven life. (hope it is okay to make some disturbance in Eldencore :P)

Personality: Playfully shy, Kat has a heart of gold and a soul of passion. She is nice and quiet, always keeping to herself but laughing at everyone else and the jokes they tell.

Background:

Kat was born in Eldencore, a city of elves. She was the youngest daughter of Lord Eldfall, a noble who had a dark secret: he was the descendant of a traitor who had betrayed the elven queen during a war, trying to overthrow her. This secret was known only to a few, and Kat’s family lived in fear of being exposed and disgraced.

Kat grew up in a secluded mansion, where she was taught the art of summoning by her father. She had a natural talent for making contracts with any beast or spectral, and she soon became his favorite pupil. Kat was curious and adventurous, but she rarely had the chance to explore the outside world. She was confined to her home, where she had to follow strict rules and etiquette. She longed for freedom and excitement, and she dreamed of becoming a famous summoner who would bring honor to her family and her people. She also wanted to make a difference in the world, as she saw the injustice and suffering that the elves faced under the rule of the current queen. One day, she received a letter from the Royal Academy of Magic, a college in the city, inviting her to enroll as a student. She was ecstatic, as this was a rare opportunity for her to learn from the best and to meet new friends. She begged her father to let her go, and he reluctantly agreed, seeing this as a chance for her to prove herself. He also hoped that this would help her avoid the fate that awaited her: an arranged marriage with a noble from another family, who was also a secret traitor.

Kat packed her bags and left, eager to start her new life. She arrived at the academy, where she was greeted by a friendly and diverse group of students and teachers. She was amazed by the variety of magic and creatures that she saw, and she quickly made friends with her classmates. Kat was happy and fulfilled, but she soon realized that not everything was as it seemed. One fateful night she had a dream, a dream of the divine. Inside this dream she was asked her greatest desire and she replied with, "Strong enough to save those I care about." and the voice hums, "So it is done. Look for The Green Flame Witch." She received the legendary beast Ku'Kalgo to be at her side as her desire, a fierce and ancient beast that used to live long ago, now a shell of its former self. Perhaps alongside with Kat, the two can grow.

Kat had to make a choice: to follow her heart or her duty, to fight for peace or for war, to reveal her true identity or to keep it hidden. Whatever she chose, she knew that she would face consequences and challenges. But she also knew that she had Ku’Kalgo by her side, and that she had the power to change the world. She was ready to face her destiny, and to write her own story.

Name: Michelle "Mika" Fellheart

Where are they from?: Originally from the Kingdom of Liza within the City of Liza. After becoming Cursed, however, Michelle moved deep into The Red Forest where she's spent most of her undeath.

Talent/Technique: Mika's main technique involves shapeshifting. This technique channels all of her magical power into changing her body to a more demonic form built for combat.

Skills:

Demon Warrior: This ability allows Mika to reshape her body on any level (internal and external) into any demonic form she can think of. Her favorite is usually one covered in spikes with two massive horns, which excels at strength and resistance. Her deepest desire granted to her was to protect herself after having lived in constant turmoil for close to a century. The divine granted her the ability to tap into the realm of the demonic and take their physical attributes and strengths. As a result, she can change her body, increasing her strength, speed, stamina, and senses to an even greater degree than normal. These changes can be defensive or offensive and they bolster her existing abilities quite a lot.

Personality: Mika is a very outgoing and talkative person. She values strength and willpower in the people she meets and rarely keeps long-term friends. Her current way of being has made her callous to death, though she does not like senseless killing and always believes in honor and respect, even between adversaries.

Background: Mika was born in the City of Liza to a loving family of humans over a century ago. They lived their life relatively normally, with Mika getting an education and learning her father's trade of blacksmithing. After one late night at the library, Mika was attacked on her way back home by a Cursed Vampire. She had no way to defend herself and was easily overpowered and bitten, becoming infected before a guard was able to kill the undead creature. Mika fled the scene and got back home but it didn't take long for her to start craving the blood of her family. She was forced to run away from home and from Liza altogether, venturing deep into The Red Forest to hide and drink the blood of any bandits that found themselves in her vicinity. Mika's biggest desire was to be able to protect herself so that no one could hurt her the way that Cursed Vampire had almost a century ago, which was granted to her by the divines in the form of red wings on her hands and a purpose. She left her life of self-imposed exile behind and ventured out towards the tribal lands in search of this purpose.

Talent/Technique: Blessing of the Sword Saint-- Born with a natural inclination to excel in swordfighting or have a more impactful growth for it, (though if not fostered or maintained, could never reach its full potential).

Skills:
  • Enhanced Swordsmanship-- Yule can never do any magic, neither the desire nor the affinity for it. Though what he does possess is an astounding ability in how he wields and makes good use of a sword. Regardless of the sword, it comes more naturally for him than other people, meaning it doesn't take him long for him to be acquainted with this type of weapon, being able to wield it like it's an extension of his hand. Being able to perform feats such as stopping and deflecting incoming projectiles like arrows. He is also very precise and can gauge just how much is needed to hurt but not fatally wound someone or something.

  • Unhuman Reflexes-- Perhaps because of his background in training or how he's a beastfolk, or maybe both; Yule has a faster reaction speed than most people (or humans). This allows him to be more agile in reacting to things such as someone unexpectedly attacking him or catching a falling item.
Personality:

Yule is a beastfolk swordsman hailing from the Clan of Enikiri. A shy individual, he embodies a fierce warrior once he gets serious. Around strangers, this man tends to act a bit gruff and aloof, but he warms up to others once he gets to know them. He has enough renown that a title just for him was made: "Enikiri's Finest Blade." Yet, he never boasts about his own abilities and prefers to remain modest. As a result, he often gets mistaken for being an ordinary person, but those that know his true abilities expect a lot out of him. All his life, the clan's high expectations for him was a thing that remained constant, so he has developed his ability to adapt to pressure quickly, allowing him to make quick decisions during battle and not lose his cool.​

Background:

The Clan of Enikiri had a rich history starting at its conception near the Great River. Once a powerful force to be reckoned with, it had been reduced to nothing but simply tall tales of the modern world in the lands of Nava. The remnants of the powerful beastfolk fled to the Tribal Lands in order to start anew, yet still held onto their pride as members of the once mighty clan. It was said that the first Enikiri was an ancient deity, the leader of a group of fauna that had been granted human-like bodies and intelligence by the forces of nature. With their new forms, they sought to explore the world as they saw fit, and eventually founded the clan. However, the people were soon at each other's throats due to their differing ideas. The infighting was what caused the downfall of the initial tribe.​

Nowadays, Enikiri live their lives peacefully in the Tribal Lands. Yule's parents were scavengers, often they made their living by looking around for relics or materials of value in the wild such as the Central Forest. It was dangerous work, and many perished from their attempts. And that was exactly what happened. It only took one mistake. It was when he was still a toddler and his mother was watching over him as they scavenged. An unstable magic artifact in some ruins they were in detonated, resulting in the deaths of his parents.​
Yule became an orphan. And for a while, he was under the care of the clan leader for a while but he couldn't take care of him permanently. Because of this, the young boy had become somewhat of an outcast in the village due to the fact that no one took up the mantle to be his guardian, so he roamed around without guidance for a while.​
Despite this fact and that his parents have been dead for many years, Yule still yearns for them deeply. Still, he resolved himself to not be a lost cause and steeled himself to strive and make his late parents proud. He often saw envoys from other nations, protected by guards. It was then that his fascination of swords began. He began with a stick, and truthfully the leader of the clan saw potential. Yule was told he was given a blessing of the spirits, something that happens if one is favored by nature.​
He was eventually given a real sword to practice with. He was put to the test when other belligerent tribes tried to gauge their power. In the spirit of courage, he asked to duel their strongest. His efforts paid off, and he bested each and every one of them.​
Now an adult, a fateful night would change the course of his life for good. After a long day of practicing, he awoke abruptly from a dream. He noticed a mark had formed on his hand. The following morning, no one in the clan had an answer for what it could have meant. Not long after, it was only from a strange travelling woman by the name of Seiika approached him and had a clue to what the mark could mean. She offered to be a stalwart companion in exchange for cultural knowledge. She was an alchemist and an anthropologist, with a specific obsession on the Enikiri folk. Despite her eccentric presentation, she was kind, and Yule had found a friend. She was the one who suggested he leave the village to seek out who she knew to be the one he might be looking for—the Green Flame Witch.​

Where are they from?: Tribal Lands, small aggressive village known for being problematic in the area. That was, before it became a ruin overgrown, reclaimed by nature.



Talent/Technique: Innate Unique Healing Magic: The ability came to Kal at a young age, immediately earning him the unfortunate fate of witnessing the horrors of warfare. It manifested as Water Magic at first, seeing as how it was commonly used in medical practice. Throughout his years, He discovered its application could be used with various types of magic. This practice of honing his Magical talent, would give him a wide variety of healing abilities. At current time, Kal could use healing magic with; Water, Light, and Air, at near expert levels. While the types of Fire, Shadow, Soul, Barrier, and others were barely up to basics of simple first-aid.



Skills: Barrier Magic: Chains of Fenrir- “My desire?… My Tribe spent their miserable existence putting others in chains… My desire… is to do unto those like them, make them feel the suffering of their victims…” - Kal’s desires manifested from the divine who spoke to him in a vision, in the form of chains formed from primal mana. The power is wild and untamed, if not for his race’s strength and large mana pool, he knew it could not be wielded without great strain on himself.



-Combative Prowess: His natural strength was one thing, but knowing how to apply and use it was another. He was learning his tribes methods when he was a boy, but has forsaken them as ugly and cruel. His travels often found him among military encampments, and picked up various styles of hand to hand. However, his favorite was of those who called themselves Monks. Their martial ways were agile and flowing, with most of their weapons being non-lethal when used properly. He has been for years in this form, and has aided him many times in fending off dangerous enemies.



-Languages and Cultures: 20 years of experience in his travels gave him basic knowledge of different languages and cultures. Though vast and many, Kal could at least speak conversationally, and enough to get by a majority of the time. His basic understandings of cultures was helpful in places not used to the sight of Orcish kind.





Personality: Despite a large physique of natural muscle, and his resting straight face, Kal is a gentle soul. Years of travel has helped shape him into a character capable of matching his surroundings, if only to survive and keep others around him at ease. At least, enough to not attack him on site. Becoming refined for Elven speech, rougher to maintain relations with a dwarf, and empathetic to beastfolk and others. Humans are the hardest, but he found that wearing clothes of similar design, strangely goes along way. Nonetheless, persecution is almost always imminent, and He will bear it to avoid violence as much he can.



Background: Born to a Tribe of aggressive Orcish, Kal had been unable to keep such hatred and violence in his heart. Nevertheless, his Tribe treated him as any other, no doubt due to his healing capabilities. When he was of 11 years, a combined effort by villages and victims of his Tribe’s violence and a few Alpha Beast-folk, his Tribe was wiped off the map. His life spared by an Alpha who saw the lack of blind violence in his eyes, Kal was told to run, and never reveal his tribal name again. He never looked back once after that.

The next two decades were spent wandering the continent of Manara, surviving and learning the languages, adapting to the different cultures he encountered. His innate talent of healing magic opened many doors for him, and he continued to hone that into different types of magic, seeing as different races responded to different types of magic. He made money as a traveling healer, then as an adventurer to help bring in criminals of various degrees.

Upon having a dream, a vision from what he could only suspect as divine, he was branded with a mark of crimson wings on his right hand. Along with his deepest desire being given a magical form, practicing that would be first on his newly given agenda. Then, he’d set out to find this Woman with the Green Flame…

Convergence Technique: The Chimera

When they Combine their Mana:
+ | The Monstrous Chimera. The pair have been taught to use Alteration, Soul and Fire and manifest into a monster. The creature is a spiritual beast that breathes intense smoke and fire. It has diamond teeth and claws that make for devastating weapons. Spines line its mane and it has an studded armoured hide. It has giant bat wings to fly and a deadly, venomous stinger for a tail that causes pain and paralysis. The spines on the tail can be launched like arrows as well. The beast is ferocious, agile and powerful. It has a distinct roar that causes an innate primal fear upon all that are within 30m that hear it.
- | Limitations. The form takes a mnimum of 10mins of ritual to take place. Once shifted, the form will last the same amount of time the ritual takes place. So for example, if they do an hour long ritual the form lasts for one hour. They however, cannot break this form early; they will revert to their own forms once the time limit elapses.

| Born into The Clan DeValinz Royalty with her litter 4 sisters and only brother. Miriannia is the eldest of her siblings and thus the heir to the Chiefdom of the Laer'Dan Tribe once her mother deems her worthy or passes away. Their father is the lead Shaman's son but he played no part in rearing them only training them in all things shamanic.
| Born by her side was her life long Tamu protector, Aura. He was an only child, the others of his litter were sickly and died within a few months. But he was chosen for he literally had fire in his eyes. She and he were imprinted together and would have a Soul Bond between them that would grow as they would.

Groomed and trained together, she, as a royal Princess and heir, and he, as the loyal and fierce Guardian, the Gobloid and her Tamu lived in luxury in the forest despite the harsh training. But both were excelling and their bond grew.
| But Miri dared defy her lineage the day she fell in love with another Gobloid female from a rival tribe. Of course, Aura protested but of course his protest fell upon deaf ears. These Clans were mortal enemies and they had warred with each other for generations now. They fought over things as serious as food and territory to even petty things as name calling.
| A secret raid upon the rival clan was lead by Miri to prove herself as heir proper to the Chieftain headdress. And she was successful in leading her squad in behind enemy lines. But the opportunity to slay all the heirs of the rival royalty fell short when she realized that amongst their captured was her lover. The other young woman was a princess too,

Miri could not find it in her to kill the other Gobloid; she loved her. Instead she grabbed the other female and fled the scene, never to return. As her loyal Guardian, Aura turned his back on his peoples and family too and fled with them.
| For months the trio made their way across the continent until they finally made it to the southern coast. They boarded a ship to escape to wherever the winds took them. They were however attacked by pirates and captured. They were to be brought to a secret place where they would sold to the highest bidder.
| But once they made it to the docks, the Princess and her Guardian did their Convergence Rituals and took their Monstrous Chimera form to break the captured out from the pirates horrbile clutches. But sadly in the chaos, they were separated from Miri's lover; she did not know that the Chimera was actually her allies and fled without them.
| Miriannia and Aura have been tracking her down ever since. And so their chase has led them right into the middle of a war between Beastfolk and Orcish.
