Appearance: Dainty and small in appearance, Malynn isn't normally one called to battle. Her skin is a warm tone, passed down to her as a result of originating from a fairly bright, hot planet. She keeps her wavy black hair tied behind her in a ponytail or in a simple braid. Occasional scars interrupt an otherwise smooth complexion, results of silly accidents rather than from battle.
Personality: Malynn is quite intelligent, however, this is often overlooked due to her impulsive manner. She isn't a huge believer of looking forward, much preferring to live in the present and worry about the future when it is upon her. When given a long term goal to achieve, it is not uncommon that she loses focus and gets distracted. Eventually, she will find her way back to the path that leads her to the desired end goal, it is just evident that she will often take unnecessary detours.
Regardless of that Malynn is loyal. Where she comes from betrayal is punishable by banishment, so she takes promises very seriously. She is an extremely nice person, but her hospitality should not be confused for trust. It takes her awhile to truly trust someone, but that doesn't affect her loyalty. She does enjoy making new friends, and she doesn't think to connect with someone is a weakness of any sort.

Equipment: She doesn't carry much equipment as she mostly uses magic over technology, but she does carry some items from her home planet.
The Oga: A small device that creates a bubble of invisibility when activated. The bubble is about 10 yards in diameter and 10 yards high at its tallest. When used it drains Malynn's mana, and if used for too long it can be severely detrimental to her health. Max time safe usage= 2 hours.
The Ulsu: A necklace that she keeps on at all times, used to focus and enhance her magic when using magic under Friest.

Practiced Magic: Malynn mostly uses prevention magic as opposed to offensive or defensive. She can make herself invisible, or others, bending light around the desired object for brief periods of time. For herself she can last almost 4 hours. For others it is closer to three. It uses an extreme amount of energy to maintain, so after doing this she is usually unable to use magic for a couple hours or so. She also has the ability to slow time, although this is an unhoned skill and she can only do it for a maximum of 5 minutes.
Malynn also has healing abilities. She can focus her magic to heal, which takes varying amounts of time depending on the seriousness. This includes slowing down blood flow to the area of an injury or stopping it completely if necessary.

History: Malynn originates from Kresnia, a warm planet on the edge of the galaxy. For centuries, half-elves have lived there with no explanation for where the elves and humans went besides wise old tails of them being carried away by Friest in chariots. Malynn spent her younger days playing in the woods with her several brother and training with the women of the clan to learn how to hone her magic skills. The days were carefree but there was always a looming threat of some disaster, Malynn was too young to understand.
Kresnia was a dying planet. With the atmosphere thinning and flares of their star becoming more and more dangerous, it became evident that their people needed to find a way off of it. Malynn was tasked with finding a safe planet to inhabit but instead, she encountered Isyn where she was shot down and questioned by the Hierarchy. Eventually they decided that she wasn't apart of the Hegemony and released her. From there she joined The People's Republic since she no longer had a way off the planet and most of her things were confiscated. This was 15 years ago.
