A Navy Man
  Ok, posting shall begin.

For this RP I'm going to be following the simple everyone posts between monday and friday template, with moderations (By not me, but my Mod Flieger, I just own it and administrate, making decisions here and there)

For a template of a good post, use this: Template

For the first post, to give some time for people who haven't even posted a CS yet, and because I'm springing this near the middle of the week, the deadline for the first turn is not Midnight Friday the 13th, HST, but Midnight Friday the 20th, HST.

Thanks, and post away!

Construction:

—Go to Congress and enact the Federal-Aid Highway Act and begin the project with 25 billion dollars to start off

—Begin building 50 government buildings (Total) that are affiliated to the "Wounded Veterans program", there should be 1 in each of every state.

—Begin searching for more promising area's to build more dams, our objective is to have 3 damns built if any area's are goods.

—Begin repairing/upgrading black schools

—Begin building 10 more international airports in the following states: Washington, California, Georgia, Florida, Oregon, New York, Philadelphia, Virginia, Texas, and Maryland.

Internal Affairs

--Establish the WAF into the Reserve Officer Training Corps.

—Establish a program to ensure better education to black schools and help equip/update them to modern and healthy standards, The program will start with a upstart of 1.5 billion dollars and after wards will be given a budget of 100 million dollars per year to keep afloat. This department is opened to any of those who wish to work regardless of race, or culture as long as they meet expected education requirements and degree's.

—Prepare a speech ensuring the American people that Korean War will soon enough end with a peaceful negotiation and that our boys will return home safely to their family's, friends, and other close ones before the end of the summer.

—Establish another program called "Wounded Veterans program" which deals with soldiers of mental/physical problems, that cannot financially/physically support themselves. This program will focus on allowing those individuals to be financially supported with 3,500 dollars a month and free medical help that is paid by this program. This is only valid to those that have been medically checked and have been submitted and confirmed that they do need help. The program will have a jumpstart of 2.5 billion dollars and a budget of 150 million dollars per year to keep afloat.

--Invest 1 billion into the public industry and 2 billion into the private industry.

--Conduct a survey in Puerto Rico and find out how many wish for Puerto Rico becoming a state and if so or not what is their given reason (If you could just list 3 comments that indicate a majority of opposition or with it).

Foreign Affairs/Diplomacy

—Request a Cease fire with North Korea and China, if accepted then a conference will be conducted with all countries who have contributed to the war.

(The conference has been made and Chinese have requested for both their leader Mao and President Eisenhower to come to Pyongyang to sign the treaty. Eisenhower will attend this and of course attend (with security) the signing, he will also speak to Mao and begin talks on the future relations between the U.S and China.)

— Begin a diplomatic mission of establishing a similar organization of NATO in the pacific called SEATO, the following countries are requested to join in a conference in Philippine's capital city (If they say its ok). The following nations are invited to this meeting to discuss the future defense of the pacific: Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, India, U.K, France, Pakistan, and Iran.

—Begin a proposal in Congress to allow japan a small stretch of allowing to establish a self-defense force, a document of what they are allowed to have and numbers will be proposed.

—Send diplomats to Spain and attempt to conduct good relations with them and include talks of trade if they are willing to.

—Send diplomats to France to begin talking about the situation of Vietnam.

—Request the cooperation for the British to allow western Germany to become independent, and begin a economic/military plan for the future for Germany that is favorable for them.

—Send Diplomats to Yugoslavia to establish a good relations, offer 400 million dollars with no need of paying back. Afterwards if they accept it then start talks of a trade agreement. If congress doesn't like this proposal offer a counter argument that the Yugoslavians are also hostile to the Soviet Union and do not share a similar agenda/idea as the USSR. This is a important political step in attempting to stop the USSR's influence in the Balkans and we must take the opportunity before it is to late.

--Establish a U.S military base in Venezuela near the amazon area south. Establish it and send 1,000 troops/officers to go there for joint training with the Venezuelan army. Use 50 million dollars to establish and build the base.

--Allow west Germany to reestablish their steel and coal production, and any other economic plans that they wish to go for with the exception of NATO supervision.

Construction: Build ten civilian factories in Rio de Janeiro.

Diplomacy: Dispatch teams of men and women across the world to study under and on occasion even enlist the aid of the captains of industry, engineers, and economic visionaries needed for Brazil to hasten and improve upon ongoing development of the interior, industrialization of the nation, and modernization of her cities.

Offer Venezuela a nonaggression treaty for the duration of five years.

Internal Affairs: Halt additional funding to the military aside what is required for maintenance.

Cut interest rates by half, begin the institution of a series of tax cuts, and instill a more generous credit policy to encourage consumer spending and the formulation of businesses and therefore, hopefully, overall growth of the economy.

Adopt a deregulatory stance towards businesses, especially in regard towards financial institutions, in the hopes of increasing investment opportunities and further bolstering economic growth.

Exempt machine and industrial equipment imports from taxes to encourage and cheapen industrialization efforts.

Embolden the migration of citizens to the interior by providing 1,000 Brazilian Reals and free land to those that can prove their claim and development of a homestead, with a maximum of 200 acres, for the duration of a year within the region. Ranchers can claim and develop up to 30,000 acres, but only receive 90,000 Brazilian Reals for their settlement.

Research: Begin exploring and further advancing forms of solar energy with the eventual goal of achieving an energy independent Brazil, erecting a research facility specifically for the project in the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro and providing substantial funding. All applicants to the program are screened with the aid of BOPE Officers, and additional security is provided by thirty professional soldiers equipped with bulletproof vests and automatic weaponry.

Projects/Operations: Begin construction of additional interregional highways and railroads, spanning from the populated and industrialized South to the Northern Coast and Interior, along with upgrading existing infrastructure in place.

Turn 1

Federal Republic of Germany

Diplomacy:

Ending in 1950, the allied nations stripped West Germany of much of its steel and coal production capacity. In order to allow Germany to repay its reparations, Germany would like to be able to make modest investments into these industries to increase economic output. Ask USA, UK and France for permission to set up additional steel mills at now abandoned sights that were stripped of their machinery and tooling.

Economy:

Continue economic policies established by the German government in 1948 and 1950 respectively.

Continue rebuilding the countries Capital Stock by investing in production firms to sell German goods on international markets.

Military:

In order to full fill Germany's obligations to the European Defense Community established in 1952, begin making preparations for German units to be raised to serve in the EDC.

Have Amt Blank request for the services of Erich Von Manstein. Request that he prepare a report on the possible rearming of Germany. His report is to make recommendations for a German self defense force based off of current strategic considerations. His report is to be prepared and presented to the Bundestag in June of 1953.

Also there will be two men who are African Americans and both are deceased. If any such fuss is given about giving medal of honors to the two deceased African Americans then the president will address that: "These two brave men gave up their lives so that their brothers in arms could fight another day. Without such men like William and Cornelius, then we would have had many sons and fathers to bury. I do not care for color, I care about people with a good soul and mind. Because of that they have gained my respect as president and you all should feel the same, for we all have given some sort of sacrifice.) At first a fuss is made but the people are soon everything is quiet as those attending the ceremony come together
—Begin proposing the Civil Rights Act
--Have the United states Labor department gather statistics of unemployment rates in total. Unemployment is at 2.5% and the economy is doing quite well at the moment
