  • Magically Esteemed Educational Private School, or MEEPS, was founded in the 18th Century by our four founders; Roderich Ramael, Ellise Eadmark, Catherine Claimil, and Viktor Valdinov. These four amazing people got together to create this wonderful school of MEEPS. Each of them with their diverse personalities set aside their differences so that the future generations could follow in their lead as well.


    Every year the students of all years will take their BATs - which stand for Brutal Academic Tests - and are tailored only for what they need to know that year. They will be tested on all the subjects and placed in a ranking out of their year. The top 2 in each year will get to go on an all expense paid trip to some sort of resort over the summer.


    At the end of each term the students will take their EWEs - Extreme Writing Exams - which are also tailored for each year. The EWEs don't get ranked, but will affect the student's overall grade percentage at the end of the year. We keep record of all the BATs and EWEs the students take so that if the copies you get are lost, you can always contact us for another one. You will need these papers to get into a good magic collage - or university.


    By our school, there is a small town where every month the students get to go there to shop for anything and "hang out", with the parents permission, of course. The people there are very friendly and it's completely safe. In fact, the whole campus is warded by only the best and is frequently tested every month.

Name: Marina Scheaks


Nickname: Mari, Rin, Ria

Personality: Marina is often lost in her own thoughts and is very quiet. She has a very short attention span and it's hard for her to focus on somebody speaking for more than ten minutes. She's shy and doesn't like confrontation and doesn't do very good if you put her under pressure. She tries to stand up for herself, but ends up sputtering out breaths. Sometimes she wished she had an easier time talking to people, but she knew that's just part of her personality. She's very caring and would be willing to do anything within reason for those she loves. She is very motherly and loves children.


Blood Status: Pureblood


Biography: Marina wasn't very early in childhood development. It took her almost a year to say her first words and it took a long time for her to get the confidence and balance to be able to stand up and walk. Her parents even had to use magic to try and help her stand even though it might stunt development. Marina feels that this is unimportant, but might be useful to write in her autobiography. She often thinks thoughts like this and sometimes some of the stuff she says out loud is even stranger. She found it difficult to be in school because she had all of her most interesting thoughts there and she knew she needed to pay attention!


Marina was very upset that she received a letter to MEEPS. She knew this was a magic school and from the things her parents had taught her she thought it'd be very boring! She knows she needs to do this though, because she did want some sort of magical profession as they were very successful and she could always use money. She promised herself and her parents that she was going to work hard to pass her EWEs and BATs.

Personality: Eric is very lively and outspoken. He is very ambitious and boasts he'll be something incredible someday, much to the amusement of his fellow classmates. Eric loves to have a laugh and enjoys it when others join in. Although Eric might just seem like a bragger, he is very friendly and a good friend to everyone. He usually becomes like this not to gain attention, but to brighten up the atmosphere as much as he can. He enjoys to see other people's laughter. Despite his goofy personality and appearance, he is quite smart and strategic although he doesn't say anything about it.


History: Eric was always rambunctious even as a baby. He always got into trouble but he never got angry or upset, he just laughed and did better the next time. As he grew older, his parents noticed he was very smart, even more than he let on as he could use minor magic. Although most of the time he used it to play pranks on his father whom he loved dearly. Eric was excited when he was accepted into MEEPS as he saw it as another challenge. He was ready to go in and show everyone that he was the self-proclaimed king of MEEPS.

Blood Status: Half-blood (Does that mean they are not fully human, or not fully magical. I don't care I just want to know.)


House: Caimil


Personality: Most of the time he is quite and doesn't speak his mind. He is very smart, but sense the death if his parents he hasn't said much. He is a train wreck after his parents death but he wouldn't bother anybody with his problems. When he does talk he is charming, but he doesn't talk much.


History: He was adopted by a pureblood family, for they wanted a normal child. Soon Tom did develope magical abilities. He kept it secret because he overheard his parents talking about finally getting a normal child. Being scared his father would kick him out, back on the streets. He told his mother. As he began to practice in secret with his mother, he lost connection with his father. As his father began to be harder on him Tom developed a distrust of him. Soon he used his air magic. Everything happened so fast he couldn't believe it. Tom made the winds blow hard. It knocked down anybody that was standing but him. Soon his fathers magic (Fire) escaped. As it caught the house on fire his mother tried to stop it with her water magic. But she ended up using too much and destroying herself. His father then got burned by his own magic and ended up dieing of burns. As Tom went back into foster home he sent his application letter. He had seen things no kid should have to see.

Name: Elena Alovena (whoop di do! My name rhymes!)


Nickname(s): You can call me Ena.


Age: 12, my birthday is on the 13th of the sixth month, June.


Gender: Female


Blood Status: I'm a halfblood and proud of it! My father came from a pureblood family, and my mother from a muggle family. So, that means I'm not a pure pureblood, but not a muggleborn, so that means I'm a halfie!


House: Ramael, the land of the free and the home of the brave!


Personality: Elena Alovena - or Ena, as she prefers to be called - is an outgoing and spontaneous young witch who was born from a pureblood father and a muggleborn mother. She's very bold and somewhat rash, earning her a spot in the house of Ramael. This witch is quite proud and tends to be a little too confident, her arrogance can get her into a lot of trouble. But, some how, with her amazing luck, Elena - Ena - usually gets out perfectly fine. Sometimes Elena - Ena - has quite the potty mouth, but holds her dirty language when around elders, children, or who she deems superior.





Although her aloof nature, Elena - Ena! - takes her studies quite serious and places very high in the rankings, but she's not a genius. When she puts her mind to something, Elena - it's Ena! - can do the impossible. She likes to be alone when studying because Elena - please just call me Ena - needs to concentrate to get a high ranking in her BATs. This brave young woman completely agrees with what BATs stands for, Brutal Academic Tests, they really are brutal.


Despite her outgoingness, Elena - ....Ena.... - is easily embarrassed and tries to cover her bashfulness by laughing it off. Although it usually doesn't work. Elena - it's Ena - may seem like the type of person who doesn't care about what others think, but she's actually very sensitive and can easily be brought to tears, but she tends not to cry in public. Elena - Say it with me, En-a! - puts on a mask of cheerfulness when depressed, taking it out on herself than on others, she likes to carry her problems by herself, but won't deny help when she needs it.


It takes a lot to anger Elena - Oh, Merlin. I give up - who usually manages to keep her cool, although when angered, Elena - please just call me Ena - isn't much of a threat. She stays calm and composed unlike the stereotypical Ram, she finds that being angry is a waste of time and is more likely to be in grief than rage. All her life, Elena - f*** you - is quite proud that she's never been actually angry before. But she does get very irritable when she's PMS-ing. Although, there's a line that you need to cross to unleash Elena's - it's Ena! - inner demon, but it would be best not to do so.


History:

  • Childhood: I grew up in a pretty average household - if you ignored the fact that there were portraits of your ancestors that chat way too much on the walls - My father, Oliver Alovena, came from the rich and pompous pureblood family Alovena. Whenever I hear that name it reminds me of aloe vera! Haha! Anyway, back on topic. My mother, Nevena Alovena nee Bonnefoy, on the other side, was a muggleborn witch. A pureblood and a muggleborn? What kind of sick Romeo and Juliet story was this? It wasn't. They were in love - well, I think they were - so they did what lovers did when they were ready. They got married. Of course it would take some a lot of explaining to both families, the purebloods didn't want a muggleborn to stain their name and the muggles just didn't like Oliver's personality - well, my mother's father didn't (aka my grandfather). But, it all worked out and they got married, moved into their own house, they were very happy, so they had a kid. Okay, this is where I come in. I came out of my mother's vagina, crying. I mean, who wouldn't be crying if there were strangers wearing masks around you, they cut off my umbilical tube! In all seriousness, Nevena had given birth to her first, and only child. My mother died during childbirth, apparently it was from the magical overload in her body. I only got to see what my mother looked like in pictures, she was very beautiful, I could see why my father fell for her. I thought she had the most amazing smiles, always so full of life and happiness. My father would tell me stories about her - my favourite one was when they fought a dragon over a bowl of chicken soup - I knew that my mother was quite the achiever, she had won many awards, did great in school, lots of work promotions, etc. Even though I had never met her, Nevena Alovena nee Bonnefoy was my role model. I began practicing magic the moment I could wave my little chubby baby hand! My father said that I was very mischievous, always breaking things and pulling pranks. My grandparents on my father's side soon came to live with us - my grandparents on my mother's side wanted nothing to do with me after their daughter's death - Grandma taught me that I shouldn't rely completely on magic and would bring home a bunch of magical creatures, much to my father's demise, I can still recall bumping into the thestral because I couldn't see it. Grandpa, however, would always tell tales of his adventures while he was at Durmstrang, some of them were a little...horrifying, but it was hilarious either way. When I was seven years old, my grandmother died from a heart attack in front of my eyes, being a seven year old, I didn't know what to do other than panic and get an adult. In the end, St. Mungos couldn't save her and she went to be with my mother. Because of that event, I was able to see the thestrals. At first they scared me - I was just seven years old, guys - the bony structures and rotting bodies were a little too much for me. We lived in a pretty cottage in the woods, so I had to get used to the thestrals sooner or later. And so, I did. Sure, I was still a little freaked out whenever they ate the meat we gave them, but it was hilarious to watch as my friends would stare at me like I was crazy. The rest of my life was pretty normal, my Grandpa passed away in his sleep when I was about ten, I think. It was a little funny watching my father try to explain puberty to me and give me the talk, since I got my period when I was nine - why am I telling you this? - I knew it was hard to raise a child on your own, so I did my best to help my father out. Cleaning up the house, trying to cook meals, etc. The house elf was happy to teach me the ways of home economics! Although, I did break a few objects when rushing to clean something up with my magic. Haha! When I turned 12, I was very ecstatic about getting my acceptance letter from MEEPS! Unlike Hogwarts - who names their school Hogwarts? - Magically Esteemed Education Private School starts at 12 years, usually only muggleborns have to go there at eleven years. So, yeah. That was a pretty basic explanation of my childhood. It wasn't too big and dramatic, or anything like that. But, the real adventure would start at MEEPS.

@Hunnyhelp please add more to your personality, @Toaster Muffins and I have discussed that the history is (to put it directly) too tragic and will most likely turn him into a "Sympathetic-Sue", please don't get angry at us, we're just handing out constructive advice. And for your question, do you know Harry Potter? Purebloods are magical people who have a pureblood mother and a pureblood father, muggleborns are magical people with non-magical parents, halfbloods are in the middle and have a variety of being a halfblood. (I hope I'm explaining this right)

Personality: Hannah is more of an outcast, but she doesn't really mind that it's not like she is a loner. She just doesn't have very good social skills and oftens finds it hard to talk to people and do simple things like use facial expressions. Even if she has known the person for long periods of time. Others have kinda made a game out of this and will do all kind of crazy things just to get a reaction out of her. People often think of her as rude, slow, stupid, cold, or distant, because you can talk to her looking straight into her eyes, yet she won't speak a word back. But underneath this awkwardness that plagues her, she is..... Well maybe I should let you guys get to know her in order to know this.


History: Hannah grew up in a family of muggles and never really understood what was going on while her powers were developing. Her mother was schoolteacher and father worked in the church. Both of course were catholic and extremely religious, so they did believe in such horrid things, as magic, but thought of it as dark and evil and those who possessed it should be burned. Being very strict they tried to pass these teachings to their 3 beautiful children. Gregory, Jason, and of course little Hannah their only daughter.


Once they found out of Hannah's 'curse' as they called it they tried everything from going to the priest and holding an exorcism. Yet, for them nothing worked. Hannah their darling daughter was a demon in their cold eyes. Nothing more, but maybe they could get her tried and use her for something better in life. They started to think and about 3 months laters a letter from MEEPS arrived.


Other: She prefers to go by her last name, so whenever she introduces herself she tells everyone her name is Keyser

Name: Axel Xercrius


Age: 12


Gender: Male


Blood Status: Half-Blood


House: Ramael


Personality: Axel is a very blunt person. He calls things as he sees them and will not spare details. He doesn't let anything get to him, seeing it is being vulnerable. Even if someone dies, he will not be the least bit saddened. In his opinion, weeping over something accomplishes nothing and is selfish in its own way.


Axel has a small competitive side to him, since he was taught that losing is never an option. He will never give anything less than his absolute best, unless he is not interested in something. If he is confronted with something he doesn't find interesting in any way, he will deny participation and leave if it is a possibility.


Although his aloofness is frustrating, he can also be extremely helpful. He always finds someway to pull through, whether it is directly or indirectly. If he helps someone, he denies all gratitude. In such a situation, he will claim that he had his reasons or that it was unintentional. If you somehow help him out, he will not stop until that debt is repayed, since he hates owing people. However, if you can gain his respect or if by some holy miracle, likes you, he will show undying loyalty.


He's not the best at expressing himself, since doing so was never necessary. If he ever attempts, he ends up conveying the wrong message and will eventually just give up. It will take a lot of work before he can properly express himself or be in the company of others.


He may be a cold and confident person, but he does have his own weaknesses and insecurities, even though he would never dare admit it. He keeps all of his major faults and weaknesses buried deep inside him, but some can be seen if one were to pay attention. Even though he doesn't realize it himself, he has a weakness for things cute and small.


His penchant for the small and cute, may stem from his tendency to stick up for the little guy. If two people are on the verge of killing each other, that's all fine and dandy. However, if a person is tormented by someone significantly stronger, he will not stand for it. He finds preying on the weak to be even weaker and finds the act disgusting and unrespectable.


History: Axel was born from a Pureblood father and a Muggleborn mother. When people hear this, they often assume the relationship was akin to a fairy tale. A man of a higher status would engage in a forbidden love with a woman beneath him, but would continue to love the woman no matter what happened. The two would run away together and have a child that they would love forever. However, this is the real world and not a fairy tale. The story of Axel's birth was far from glamorous.


To be blunt, Axel was a mistake. His father came from a well-known family of Purebloods and was highly respectable. However, the man did have the habit of exceeding his limits with alcohol. The man refused to believe that he couldn't hold his liquor, which resulted in many drunken nights, one of which involved his mother.


As one would expect, Muggleborns were not as respected as the Purebloods. Many of those he knew today were poor, but his mother had absolutely nothing. If a woman had nowhere to go and no way to accommodate living, many would probably go in the direction his mother did. Quite simply, she was a prostitute.


After one too many drinks, Axel's father made the alcohol-induced decision to pay for his mother's services. As it would turn out, his father would be her first patron, which was a little more reassuring in the future.


The result was as expected and his mother became pregnant. It was at this point in the story that he had no clue of what transpired. He never asked his father and it didn't even matter now.


Nine months later, Axel was born and immediately taken from his mother, being placed in the care of his father. Apparently there was some sort of rule when it came to the birth of mixed children. He was never quite sure if it only pertained to the Xercrius household or if it was applicable to all mixed children, but nevertheless, a mixed child would be house by the Pureblood family.


Life in the Xercrius household was nothing to be taken lightly. You were given the best of everything that had a best. Only the finest tutors, living accommodations, and lifestyles were acceptable. Everything had to be perfect and the family members were no exception.


If you were not perfect in every single way, you were viewed as trash. The pressure, strain, and work load was said to be unbearable. He had even heard stories in the house about children escaping or taking their own lives to escape the burden placed on their young shoulders.


Nevertheless, Axel did everything as specified and was flawless in every way. He was the only child to never complain about the training regimens and to complete them with perfection. Normally a family would celebrate for the success of their member, but it was different in Axel's case.


Since he was one of a kind in the Xercrius house, opinions of him were divided. Some thought he was a precious gem that should be molded and made into a source of strength in the family. However, some saw him as either a threat or some spoiled brat. Of course the argument spun out of control and his heritage was brought into the mix.


Today, the debate on whether he should be exiled from the Xercrius family or be kept as their little puppet still continues. Until all members have reached a verdict, he would be applied to MEEPS to further his skills.


It was no surprise that he got accepted and he was sent off without so much as a goodbye.


Other: The BATs and EWEs will be completed flawlessly, unless they are boring.

I'm a little conflicted over which house I should put him in. Which do you think would suit him better?
 
As much as most people would say Valdinov, I think he'd be more of a Ramael, considering his bluntness and how he tends to stand up for the weak. I can see so many pieces of Gryffindor Ramael in his personality xD


Then again, he could also be part of the Valdinov house, considering he seems to be very ambitious. But, it is your choice to what house you want to put him in. :)
 
Thanks for the input. I think I'll go with Ramael. I wasn't quite sure, but the ambition thing put the final nail in the coffin. He's ambitious with important stuff, but if it's boring, he vanishes.

@Lucem Tenebris well, we are patiently waiting for @Hunnyhelp to add more to the charrie's personality and @Deadly Hugs to tell us what's underneath the character's awkwardness.


After that we will still have 2 more student spots left, one male and one female, but we can start once we have six people (we currently have four).

But if you're talking about the NPCs then we just have a few teachers that could fill in the positions and a headmaster. :3 They don't have to be NPCs, but it's more easier for them to be NPCs. I guess.
