Magicae Knights [Inactive]

Christopher watched as Natsu bowed to him. He didn't liked that. Sometimes Natsu was just too submissive. But it should probably be due to the bad years he had gone through. He was arrested for a while, and according to his file, he didn't had the best life before he was in prison. Tough times for Natsu. He offered a placed on the couch to Natsu, pointing it with his hand. He wished to ask Natsu and Jayce if they have ever been on a group detail, but Jayce was too young, and a Magicae Knights detail was a rare thing, even if Natsu was as experienced as he seemed to be, he probably hadn't worked on one. Well, there wasn't a choice to make. The best thing would be to get this done with, as soon as possible. Chris picked up the phone and touched the "Contacts" application. He moved his finger across the screen, lowering it to the letter "B". Bella Ruidaman. Was somebody else in the Leeman's case? There might be. Well, team work was always a negative point on his resumé. This was something he just had to do, to make a change in his life. A little more good-fellowship and a little less carnage.

He dialed Bella's number and pressed the "call" button.

Natsu glanced up from his bow to see his owner's expression. He didn't seem satisfied to have Natsu bow to him, which Natsu took note of. He stood up straight again, but before he could make a move for the other room, his owner gestured for him to sit on the couch. Natsu decided it would be safe to obey the other order his owner had given him first.

"Yes Master. I will be there momentarily." He refrained from giving another slight bow and ducked into the specified room, returning with a shirt slung over his arm. When he reached the couch he adjusted the towel around his waist before sitting, making sure that his back was nowhere near the back of the sofa. He took the vial of ointment from his hand and poured some onto his fingertips, which he then rubbed together before reaching around to his back. Natsu ignored the screaming pain signals entering his brain as he treated his wounds and then quickly wrapped the bandages around his torso. He made very sure that nothing got on the couch.

Natsu was careful not to take too long after his owner had beckoned him over, seemingly having something to tell him about. Even if his owner was on the phone, that phone call could end any time, so he had to be cautious of his timing. He finished tying the bandages then slipped the shirt over his head. Natsu adjusted the neckline of the shirt around his collar, then turned his head towards his owner, waiting for something to happen.

His sharp eyes glowed dully in the soft light of the room, though his expression and gaze were cold. It was hard to tell that he was repenting from the look in his eyes. Something about them gave off an aura of icy calculation. He did not look like someone had lost his ability to feel, not right now.

Right now, the look in his eyes was that of someone who had never been able to feel in the first place. He seemed calm on the surface, almost too much so. The boiling emotions behind his eyes were gone, like they had never even existed. He sat rigidly on the couch, not relaxing in the least into the cushions, but the motion somehow seemed natural to him.

Arin walkedout of the warehouse and onto a building near the factory. Arin looked down from the factory from his vantage point. "This is for the atrocities you have commited!" He fired once and a part of it blew up and set aflame. "This is for denying freedom!" He fired once more. "This is for being inhumane!" He fired twice. "And this is for being just plain stupid." He fired thrice as the collar factory blew up and nothing but blue fire and rubble remained of it. "Anyone else got anything to add?"

Natsu's gut wrenched as a terrible feeling struck him. He sucked in a deep breath but didn't let any other reaction leave his body. Something was burning. Something where a lot of magic was locked away. He glanced out the window in the direction of the fire and saw smoke rising in the distance. He didn't have to concentrate to know where that was.

That was the collar factory.

Natsu's eyes remained cool as he turned back to his owner. "Master, your orders." He said, his voice flat and chilled. He didn't show any sign of moving from his tense position yet. Behind those dead eyes, he was calculating.

KAREEM

Kareem_AntonioEdit_zps1b5d437f.jpg

Kareem watched as the factory burned. He had no part in it and as such became bored with the plan. He waved to Cho and started walking back home. "Anti fun 'Hope of Magic,'" he grumbled as he entered the alley way. Still, he was wondering why Cho did not accept his gift. Sister did not respond and the made more of an interesting activity than watching the shop keeper blow up buildings, but that was for another time

Kareem still was curious about the knights response to the factory blowing up so before heading to his room he ordered one of his toys to spy on The Hope of Magic and Ken. It was getting late for Kareem so he figured that he would take a break from most of the action. After placing the pawns in place he headed to his room and dived onto it.

NEIL

Neil_BlueEdit_zpsc600e2bb.jpg

Neil stood closely behind Bella as Bella made house call to her other mage. She let out a small sigh of disappointment. Her fears of being abused by magic was not to far off now. But still she tried not to express her feelings. She was on this earth to repent and that whats she was dedicated too. She will be a shield for Bella only, but if this other mage where too get in her way then less pain for her. Then out of nowhere The smell of magic flooded the city. Neil Quickly grabbed her gun and proceeded to expel all of her stored up magic. If the the wave hit her and her magic use is still restricted, she could faint from the shear pain of being so overloaded. Her mana quickly filled up but luckly they where not close enough for it to be a threat. She quickly judged the direction of the outbreak and Neil ran between Bella and the direction, "Master, I will not allow you to be touched by such sinful energy." Neil pulled out her pistol and place the part which allowed her to fire her magic. Neil scanned the area for any possible threats. With such a big attack, it was possible the rouge magi of the city where revolting, and if any of them decided to appear she would not hesitated to use their own energy against them.

xxxxxOnce they were about a block or two away from the collar factory, Cho waved a hand in the air, casting an illusion that would keep them out of sight. Camera's within their vicinity would not be able to pick up on where they were, or when they were, and people within range didn't seem to notice the odd group of masked mages walk by.

xxxxxArin made the effort of going towards high ground once they arrived at their destination. However, much to Cho's dismay, he pulled out a weapon and began firing down on the factory without wasting any a single second, even going as far as shouting down at the building as he destroyed it. Her magic wasn't going to be able to hide the damage he was doing, and her she hadn't expected him to personally attack the building. It wouldn't be difficult to locate where the source of his magic was coming from, and with those blue flames, any normal person could easily find where they stood. She noticed that a few people were turning to find out what was going on. Sure, all they'd see was blue magic firing out of thin air, but more experienced people, more specifically the Magicae, would spot them within a millisecond.

xxxxx~What the hell is this guy doing?!~ She thought, her eyes wide. Suddenly, she felt glad she had made the decision to cover her face earlier. He was probably just making a statement, an extremely risky statement that might get them killed. Cho had assumed that they would break inside, leave a few bombs, and then get out to detonate them without risking their position. Boy was she wrong.

xxxxxTo make matters worse, Kareem seemed to be upset that he didn't get to participate in the destruction of the factory and began walking away; more specifically out of her range of magic. If he walked to far away, camera's would definitely catch him appearing out of nowhere. "Kareem!" She exclaimed; but he was gone. There was no way they weren't going to get caught. If not now, then the investigation on the factory would get them caught later. Cho debated escaping on her own, but that would mean exposing the other two mages, and if they were caught, they'd surely rat her out for abandoning them.

xxxxx"That was a wonderfully glorious moment you had there, really." She began, sarcasm seeping from her words, "But we gotta go, like now."

[[ OoC:// Action is happening!! Woot, woot. Knights, get your butts over here and start some commotion. Please excuse Cho's rudeness, that's just how she is.

xD ]]

Natalie squirmed in the room. How long had she been here? Too long. Far too long. This was not right. Where was Janine? She wouldn't abandoned her right?

Natalie cried out in pain as she flickered from view. She knew she shouldn't be using her powers. It wasn't the collar hurting her that made her think that. Natalie didn't want to die but she was shortening her life span because of it. But she couldn't stop. If she sent out enough ripples through the collar Janine would come for her.

She wasn't gone. She couldn't be gone.

Natalie screamed and one of the guards backhanded her. Natalie stared up at him and continued to scream. What was this feeling? It was wrong. It crept over her skin trying to force it's way in. Where was Janine? Gone, gone, gone.

"Let me go!"

"Shut it girl. No one cares. God why haven't they just killed you yet?"

Natalie continued her screaming and flailing but then she stopped for a moment, staring towards the window. "They are stupid. They are all so...stupid."

Then she started laughing.

Brendan looked up at Krista. He didn't understand what she meant but suddenly it clicked. Why wasn't he like the other Mages. He followed Krista for a moment in silence. Why hadn't he lost his head?

"I'd have to say because my exchanges have been consensual. Even if one of my owners died it's not the same as these Mages. Something must have happened when the Knight went missing to the Mage." The thought made Brendan shiver. He didn't actually want to meet this Mage. In truth he cared little for the disappearances of the Knights. It didn't really effect him on a personal level nor was it really effecting him elsewhere. He only became concerned because of his owner.

Three things happened. One was the destruction of the factory to which Brendan was confused. Then he heard Natalie's screaming and laughing which freaked him out. Then his head screamed in pain and he was on his knees clutching it.

"Stop!"

-----

Bella went wide-eyed at what happened. She heard her phone ringed. Before she answered it, she looked at Neil.

"We go. Now." She took off not really checking to see if her Mage was following but given the way she talked before she had to assume she'd follow and continue to help her out. She put the phone to her ear as she ran.

"Yes? Is this important? Something just happened."

As Christopher waited for Bella to answer, he heard the sound of a heavy explosion, and several waves of magic crossing through his body, like hundreds of collars were being broken. He looked at Natsu's face, as he said "Master, your orders". The calm in the voice of Natsu scared him a little bit. Before he could think about anything else, he heard Bella answering "Yes? Is this important? Something just happened". He answered it with: "It's about Jessie Leeman, I'm on the case, you probably know my father, Nasri. Listen, I'll call you back later", he pressed the off button of the phone, while staring at the door of his house. His magic sensibility was telling him that something with a heavy stock of magic had been blown up. This was bad. This is how a rebellion starts. He stood up and looked at Natsu. "Natsu, I want you to lift the statue next to the main door and then press the small black button underneath it". He ran to his bedroom and leaned on the bed, looking under it There was a big and wide wooden box. He pulled it out. All of his guns were there, perfectly organized, pistols on one side, rifles, shotguns and machine-guns on the other, and in the lower part of the box there was a lot of ammo. He took his two best pistols and loaded them. He ran back to the main room, and looked at Natsu, with the pistol on his hands.

"Have you locked the house already?"

By the time his owner had returned, Natsu had completed his task with the statue and retrieved his gear. He locked up the house and scanned the area for any further open locks. Seeing none, he returned to the living room just as his owner came back into the room.

"Have you locked the house already?" His owner questioned him. Natsu took notice of the guns but did not react to them in any way. Instead, he simply answered the question.

"Yes Master. Are there any other unlocked doors or windows I should secure elsewhere in the house?" He used the same tone as before, the question sounding almost robotic. Natsu stood stock still in full battle gear, no hint of the pain from before in his eyes. In fact, the only visible emotion in his eyes was something similar to a sharp, focused determination. Nothing else remained. His scarf was tied back around his head so that it wouldn't get in his way, but that added to the one at his neck made him look somewhat dark, like he could slip into the shadows and reemerge at any moment.

Most of all, though, Natsu showed no signs of human feeling. He did not even so much as shift his stance in discomfort from what must have been searing pain on his back, nor did he twitch with excitement or nervousness for the upcoming battle, were there to be one.

Cool rational calculation. How to carry out his mission. These were the only thoughts that reflected in his eyes. When Natsu got like this, he became a machine.

Since abandoning his position among-st the esteemed ranks of the Magicae Knights, Mikado has managed to immerse himself within the world of the Rogue Mages. Forming a rogue faction comprised of several powerful mages though they'd pale in comparison to their fierce and hot headed leader. As the events within Maine began to take place several scouts would report whole units being reduced to ash which could only point toward the former Knight, who'd now been missing for sometime. His "mother" the reason for his betrayal was housing him as well as his band of outlaws within an abandoned building its location spread throughout the many havens for rogues, offering freedom from the oppressive collar law.

Mikado had grown tired of "biding his time" he was itching for confrontation with the "Corrupt" Magicae Knights and those who pull the strings, He had begun to believe that it was the Mages who should control the world not the Humans, after all it was the mages who had the power, and if he had it his way he'd see to it that it happens and all those who stand against his beliefs would be reduced to nothing more then a pile of ash.

He looked at Natsu. Was he trustworthy? It looked like a revolution was about to start. He had to know who really was on his side. Well, no point in thinking about that now, since Natsu was already on his house, and he had just locked the doors. The best he could do was to consider him an ally while being careful around him.

"Lock every damn thing you find in this house. If you wish to, gather some weapons". Chris ran to the couch. He had to know what was going on. He turned the TV on with the remote. There was a "Breaking News" report on the screen. A reporter was talking about a large explosion that blew up a factory of collars. An helicopter showed the image of the multi coloured magical fire burning the remains of the factory. There wasn't much more info, about who done it, telling if there was somebody in there. Just the flaming factory filling the screen, with the desperate voice of journalists saying that "more information would be provided soon". That was it. It was starting. Screw Leeman, screw the green haired girl, this was the prime thing that every Magicae Knight had to be prepared to face.

A revolution was starting. Chris felt shivers going up and down on his spine.

((sorry about the delay, exams weeks on my school))

"We go now"

Neil watched as Bella dashed to the roaring flames of magic. She followed her behind Bella shortly. Despite her wish not to move closer to the magic, her master had made her decision. She kept her gun at her side and kept her sense sharp. For all she knew they could be running into a trap. But she would not wavier.

After keeping up for a few seconds, she started panting. She had been train to take hits, not sprinting around the city. Still she was not about to asked Bella to slow down. The gap between them started to widen. Bella was too focus on the phone to notice. She looked at her gun thinking how much easier it would be to use magic to boost her stamina or at least make her run faster. Then she shook her head, "I must not rely on this sin, I have to use my own strength." She took a big breath and close a little of the gap. Sweat poor down her head but she kept managed to keep up with her master.

"Lock every damn thing you find in this house. If you wish to, gather some weapons".

Natsu's answer was simple, robotic. "Yes, Master." He immediately started walking around the living room, scanning over every inch of the place with methodical eyes. He spotted nothing more requiring locking, and so headed to the next room. He started out by locking the necessary things in each room - doors, windows, and anything that could be used as an entryway. He closed all the curtains, as well, so that no unwanted eyes would peek in on them. Natsu ran his master's previous words about doing as he liked through his head, so he barricaded any windows that would make easy entryways but would provide no means of escape. In two rooms on the first floor with few windows and sturdy walls, Natsu barricaded every entry and exit point aside from the doors, which he made sure were both sturdy and lockable from the inside. He headed upstairs and repeated the process of locking and barricading. When he had finished with the necessities, he returned to the living room and began his secondary search of the house for things he would not normally lock, such as cabinets or interior doors.

He collected a few necessities from around the house - a flashlight, an iron lamp, some canned soup with pop open lids, a heavy blanket, and some other useful things - and placed them under the iron bedstead in the completely barricaded room. The bed was low enough so as to conceal the stuff underneath without much effort. Natsu left the lamp unplugged by the bed, and once more returned to the living room. He stared blankly at the TV screen for a second and a half, then peered out the window through a crack in the curtain.

"Master, are we heading out?" He asked without turning around. The tone was robotic, giving away nothing. He was simply enquiring for the sake of gaining information.

His training had included concealment and subdual of emotions and urges. That's why he could do this without giving any hint of the boiling storm inside of him that he was keeping in check.

He had suppressed the dark urges rising inside him, turning his will to destroy the rouge mages into a cool, dark fire of determination to calculate what he needed to do. He needed to stay calm, not to rush in and get killed without a second thought. The weight of his sin from earlier still hung over his shoulders. The best he could do to atone was follow his master's orders. Coolly, rationally. Without rage. Without hatred.

Calculating was one of his specialties, after all.
