WEREWOLF
Werewolves are supernatural shapeshifters that can morph from human to wolf. They're also known as Lycanthropes and/or Children of the Moon. You can either be born a wolf, or transformed as one. They have superhuman senses, being able to smell, and see 100x better than an average human being and possess extreme level of strength and speed. Their wolf appearance varies by person, but they are larger than an average wolf. Werewolves have very quick healing from most injuries and minor injuries will have disappeared before you could even look at it. As humans, they possess amazing agility and can also run and have much swifter reactions than normal humans. Wolves are not immortal and they age just like humans, but they age much slower. A 50 year old wolf, might still withhold an appearance of a 30 year old male.

Though Werewolves can transform from human to wolf whenever they please, new and inexperienced wolves are not under mercy during the full moon. During this time, most lose control, not remembering who they are, and transform into a wolf, as well as have a fit of rage. During this time, wolves are at their most powerful, and are very difficult to kill and maintain.

Wolves also have varying weaknesses. For example, things like Mountain Ash and Mistletoe can weaken and cause great pain to a Werewolf, and if in large amounts, can kill one. The only methods successful enough to kill a werewolf (other than vampire venom) is to shoot them or stab them with pure silver in their heart. You can also have them ingest Wolfsbane which will cause hallucinations, insanity and mental pain, then eventually kill them. These items will also have the same effects on a Werewolf in human form.

VAMPIRE
Vampires, also known as the Cold Ones and the Night Children, are immortal supernatural beings that thrive off of blood to survive. All Vampires are infertile and cannot reproduce so therefore, Vampirism can only be transformed by being bitten or injected with vampire venom. They are undead, and do not have a beating heart, and do not breathe. Vampires possess supernatural strength, speed, and can also see, taste, and hear 100x better than a human can. They can heal very quickly and regenerate limbs and bones much faster than a human being. They cannot shapeshift into any other being, but appear as if they were regular human beings, though have more refined facial structures and are all naturally beautiful. A Vampries permanent appearance will be the same way the looked when they were turned. For instance, a 300 year old vampire, might still be seen as a 20 year old. As for their fangs, they can voluntarily show them, though it is uncomfortable to bring them back so they only "put them away" when around non-supernatural beings or if they want to deceive.

Vampires get their nutrition from blood. They can drink both human and animal blood, but most prefer human blood and that is the more appealing and more tempting choice of the two. If vampires don't consume any blood for an extended period of time, their mental and physical attributes will become extremely weakened and they may even lose their state of mind. If they drink human blood, their eyes appear a crimson red. If they drink animal blood, their eyes will appear hazel. If they are in dire need of blood (and through anger), their eyes will appear jet black.

Vampires have weaknesses as well. Anything holy related, whether a chant or blessed item, can weaken a vampire. They cannot enter (churches, synagogues, etc) or say anything holy (GOD, Allah, full bible verses, etc), as it will physically hurt them in some way, shape or form. Vampires can also be weakened physically by pure gold. It does to them what silver does to a werewolf, and any injury caused by gold will be slow to heal and hard to treat. The only methods into killing a vampire (other than werewolf venom), are burning them with fire (because they are highly flammable and sensitive to it), and exposing them to sunlight while they're not wearing their sun jewelry. Their sun jewelry allows a vampire to walk and be exposed to sunlight. Vampires can only obtain their sun jewelry from their sire (the one that turned them) or a jewelry from their past life that belonged to one of their parents.

POWERS AND ABILITIES

ECLIPSE PACK

The Eclipse pack goes way back to the settlement days. They're a pack with a zero-policy rule and alpha after alpha have remained stricter in their ways. For decades, they've been able to keep to themselves, not constantly associating themselves with humans, and very rarely recruiting or allowing other wolves to join their pack. Every pack member has this tattoo somewhere on their body. They strive on loyalty, power and control, and members of the pack possess great stamina and strength. Because of this, overtime, every pack member has developed natural enhanced physical traits when born or turned, based on their personalities.

So basically, if your character is apart of the Eclipse pack, they'll be physically enhanced in one way or another. Which means, you can choose an enhanced phsycial attribute that they'll have, other than enhanced senses, taste, strength, and speed, aka the norms. Click here from this list of enhanced superpowers. If you're not sure whether its physical or mental, ask me and I'll confirm.

OASIS PACK

The Oasis pack has been around for generations. They formed after the Eclipse pack has, but nonetheless, they've been around for quite awhile. The Oasis pack are more people-friendly. They strive on free-spirit and good morality. They welcome rogue werewolves, and unlike the Eclipse pack, allow one another to mingle with humans. The alphas have been more open minded towards their members of their pack and don't believe in killing unless threatened. Oasis members have more self control and are often the ones that are able to remain themselves and restrict themselves from changing involuntarily during a full moon. Because of this, overtime, members of the pack, either turned or bitten, have gained enhanced mental power based on their personalities.

So basically, if your character is apart of the Oasis pack, they'll be mentally enhanced in one way or another. Which means, you can choose an enhanced mental attribute that they'll have, other than enhanced senses, taste, strength, and speed, aka the norms. Click here from this list of enhanced superpowers. If you're not sure whether its physical or mental, ask me and I'll confirm.

VAMPIRES
Vampires have been around for the longest out of both species. They've been around long before America was even found. All Vampires (unless rogue) are in a clan, usually in the one their sire is in. Most Vampires are neutral with one another, and often, clans get merged. Vampires strive on elegance, and self-respect, and intelligence. They're nomadic beings and are usually welcoming towards others of their own kind. Because of this, overtime, all Vampires have skillfully acquired the art of Telepathy, Dream Manipulations, and Illusions.

Illusions - Vampires have the power to trick the minds of humans and other vampires into seeing/feeling things that aren't actually happening.

Dream Manipulation - Vampires have the ability to produce and modify dreams, bestow nightmares and lucid dreaming, distort people's perception of reality and trap someone in their dreams. Vampires can also manipulate and enter the subconscious of vampires, humans, and werewolves if they are vulnerable enough. However, this is a learned skill that requires practice to achieve.

Telepathy - Vampires have a limited form of telepathy that allows them to easily enter the minds of humans , other vampires, and with more effort, werewolves. Normally, this ability works through tactile contact, usually by the vampire placing the palms of his or her hands on the temples of the vampire whose mind they want to enter. The vampire then closes their eyes and focuses on the information they wish to seek, allowing them to sort through their victims' memories until they see what they're looking for. This is also how fellow vampires at times speak to one another.

PACKS AND CLANS

WEREWOLF
Most werewolves that you may encounter belong to a pack. Werewolves stick together, you'd be very unlikely to find one on its on. You can either be born into a pack, or get invited into one by the pack's alpha. Like hierachrys, packs have ranks.

Alpha - Alphas are the pack's leader. They say what goes and how they want their pack to live. They get the last word no matter what, and to disobey the alpha, is to disobey the entire pack. The alpha is the strongest person in the pack. Challenging an Alpha is very risky and rarely done. To become an Alpha, one must take over from being the second-in-command, or you must challenge the pack leader and win, and the only way to win, is to kill the Alpha. If you kill the Alpha, you automatically become pack leader, no matter who the second-in-command is. Alphas are recognized by their red eye color when in wolf form.

Beta - Betas are the second-in-command to the Alpha. They are chosen by the Alpha. They're the only ones who can question and decide decisions with an Alpha (even though Alpha gets the final word). Theyre the second most respected rank in a pack as well as the second strongest. They fill in for the pack leader when he/she is not there. Unlike an Alpha, no one can take a Beta's rank. If an Alpha dies (without being challenged), the Beta takes over, and chooses a trusted member to take his rank. Betas are recognized by their jet black eye color while in wolf form.

Omega - An Omega is a regular pack member. They are neither an Alpha nor Beta (though they can become one). They cannot question an Alpha (unless theyre challenging him/her) for doing so is deemed highly respectful and insulting. The strength in Omegas vary. Usually, Alphas and Betas are the strongest, but nonetheless, an Omega is very capable of killing either. Omegas can be recognized by their dark blue eye color while in wolf form.

Gamma - Gammas are lone wolves. They are also called rouge wolves. You are very unlikely to find one, because a wolf on its own can be easily targeted and killed. Gammas do as they please and do not belong to any pack. To become a Gamma, one could either: get kicked out of a pack, voluntarily leave a pack, or not be invited into a pack. Most Gammas are newly turned wolves with no one or no where to go. They're usually the wolves you hear of devouring and attacking humans because they don't have a pack to guide them or help control their rage during full moons. Gammas can be recognized for their bright green eye color while in wolf form.

VAMPIRE
Vampires are creatures known for being nomadic. They equally enjoy being in groups called covens, as well as being alone. As a vampire, you can create/join/leave a coven whenever you want as long as you confront the leaders of that coven. Technically, covens can be formed by any vampire willing to start a group. Though, roles and ranks are usually not labelled in those small covens because overtime, conflict begins within the members of the coven and breaks them up. Regardless, there are covens that have lasted for centuries and those covens are usually the biggest ones. Because vampires are immortal, the people in these ranks, for the most part, have remained the same. In this roleplay, there consists of only one coven, the Rasnova coven, and its considered one of the most popular/biggest vampire coven there is, but of course, not all vampires will be apart of that coven. The ranks are:

Elder - The Elders are the coven's leaders. There consists of three Elders. They make the rules and are to their coven what an Alpha is to their pack. Elders have the final say. They are the oldest in their coven. The Elders can use their supernatural abilities the best and by now have pretty much mastered them. They know every person in their coven. Unlike a werewolf pack, you cannot challenge an Elder. You cannot take their place. The Elders, are the strongest in the coven, and are the ones that decide the rules of the coven.

Sentry - The Sentries are the coven's messenger. There are two sentries. They're kind of like the vampire scouts of their coven. They're the ones who are the Elder's eyes and ears. They're the ones who watch to see if any coven member is disobeying. They're also the ones to announce to the rest of the coven of any dangers, or new laws that have been made. Sentries are the first ones to hear of an Elder's decisions. Sentries are chosen by the Elder, and can also get "fired" by an Elder.

Novice - A novice is a regular coven member. They don't make any decisions, though unlike a werewolf pack, they are able to question the elders. Novices have to obey the rules of their coven, or they will get punished. The strength of a Novice varies.

Passive - A passive is a vampire not in a coven. They make their own decisions. Passive vampires could have previously been in a coven and have left. Passive vampires are somewhat common. Their chances of survival are harder, because they're not in a coven to teach or guide them. Passive vampires are not viewed as any different than a vampire in a pack, and they are also fully capable of living longer (or as long) as an Elder.

Fledglings - Fledglings are newborn vampires. A vampire is considered a fledgling if they've only been a vampire under 150 years. Fledglings are treated like "babies" in the vampire community. Most of the time, they aren't taken seriously by older and more experienced vampires. Fledglings are powerfully strong, fast, and agile, but not as fast, strong, and agile as a non-fledged vampire. Their superhuman abilities are also not as keen as a non-fledged vampire.
