Bio: Luna Rae Jensen was born to a ridiculously liberal artsy mother and an uber conservative straight edge father. Ah, the tension. She never figured out how they worked in the first place. They divorced when she was ten, and her life was thrown out of order. Her father moved to New Brunswick, planting roots and enrolling her in a private girl's Catholic school: St. Mary's Fine Girls Academy, Aka Hell. Her mother travelled the world as an artist, but barely made ends meet. She switched between parents as the custody battle waged on, eventually turning eighteen and getting out of dodge. She received a large sum of money from her father for an education, and small monthly contributions from her mother to keep herself fed and clothed. It all worked out okay, I guess. After it all she "lost contact" with her parents completely, aka cut them off. Now she talks with them sometimes, but it's rare.
