Now certain plot important characters will be unavailable for obvious reasons
I would prefer more OC's but the main hero is available as a first come first serve. If you want to be Link then you should be the first to ask
For now lets say 2 or 3 characters per person.

Furin Prop.jpeg
Basic Information

Name: Furin
Age: 21
Race: Gerudo
Social Status: Civilian
-------

  • History Smarts
  • basic knowledge of fighting with blades
  • Savvy with hand to hand combat
Quirks
  • Get distracted easily
  • A fear of large spiders
  • Can be a bit of a pyromaniac
Gear
  • Old gauntlets (Probably had been magical at some point, but the gem is broke so all its used for is general glove usage)
  • A bag with essentials
  • Light weight cloak

History

The Town of Gerudo was surrounded by various points of history and artifact. Creatures and items of old scattered amongst the heated sand. A single day in Furin's childhood was what set a motion of fate into action. She was no taller than a kitchen counter when she found a relic in her back yard. Digging in the sand was ceaseless fun for her, and when she came upon a set of rusted gloves, eaten away by time, the thrill of her scavenger hunt left a massive imprint into her heart, sticking with her even to the current day.

She had expressed her fascination to her family, several sibling, a mother, and great grandmother. Even though she knew that social and financial stand point both her mother and grandmother stood at, she was glad to find their support in her new found ambition. They were able to scrape up enough for her to go to school, carrying her all the way through the higher grades. Of course, Gerudo Town didn't have all that much of an impressive education seeing as the town was pretty small and secluded compared to the other cities and towns. So when she finally reached the max amount of education she could possibly gain from Gerudo Town, she set out to a larger, more capable city. That brings us to the current time, 21 years into her life, a newly found apprentice archaeologist.

Personality

Furin is a determined young lady, taking any task at hand with 100% of her power. She's headstrong and capable, always holding her word to whom ever she makes the word with. Even though her face usually hold a fierce and serious face, she's quite soft. Growing up with so many siblings has fortified her patience and has helped a like for kids to grow. The only take back from all this is that her determined and kind heart can get overly irritated by people she dislikes, most of the time that being overly cocky and narcissistic individuals. She doesnt know if its a hostility for the fact of people acting higher than her, or if she just doesnt like being looked down upon. Either way its made for a attitude.

Name:
Kogi

Age:
Unknown
(No one bothered to keep track)

Race:
Korok

Social status:
Wanderer

Skills:
A fair amount of experience with medicine making and handcrafting, that's it.

Quirks/Personality:
Kogi may be a bit odd at first sight, but he always seems to have the same intention. He always wants to help out with other peoples' problems in some way or form, even if he doesn't have too much thought put into it. Despite this, he acts pretty anti-social and he never tries to get to know anyone too well. He'd just help out whoever needed help and then move on. He can come off as rude sometimes for doing this since he's actually mute and can't speak, and he doesn't really try to follow social cues most of the time.

With that said, he'll usually be lost in thought when he isn't trying to help anyone, forming a blank stare or a thoughtful look on his face that nobody can see as he sits up against a tree doodling with a stick, but he can be more attentive when it calls for it. He is willing to listen to what anyone has to say, even if he can't say anything back.

Extra information:
A little backstory-

There was someone Kogi considered an old friend who lived not too far from Kokiri forest, a kokiri who'd usually come to him and speak about whatever was on his mind but disappeared not too long ago. Kogi thought he might have gotten into trouble, so he took it upon himself to find him and make sure he was ok. He had already tried Kokiri village but he couldn't find his friend there. Luckily, after a while trying to ask the locals, he was finally able to get some information on where he was going. So, he's making his way to Castle Town, in hopes of finding him safe.

Some items he usually has with him-

Two homemade packs of herbal medicine, capable of healing surface wounds,

A stick, in case he needs to draw out something or if he gets bored,

Some string,

A pouch made out of two sewn-together leaves to carry all items above,

and a giant korok leaf he'd happened to find along the way with a looped string he had tied on.

He'll find a weapon soon enough, but for now he's gonna hide under rocks and bushes.

    Name: Link

    Age: 18

    Race: Hylian

    Social Status: Civilian

    Skills and Such:
    - Quite proficient with a sword and shield
    - Has quick reflexes
    - ...Rather good at cooking

Personality: Link is a gentle soul, having time for just about anyone he comes across and always wishing the best for those around him. He often puts others before himself, be they a stranger or friend, even if it's detrimental to his own well-being. Loved ones are quite dear to him, with him showing to be fiercely loyal towards those he cares about. Despite his compassionate nature, the hylian is terribly stubborn once his mind is made up about something, often refusing to give up on a goal regardless of how small it may be. Link is also quite courageous, though he tends to walk the line between bravery and recklessness in his actions.

    Quirks:
    - Link, though not mute, often refuses to talk, typically only giving small responses during the rare moments he does speak. He prefers to use sign language, body language, and occasionally writings to communicate.
    - He can be surprisingly childish! He loves sleeping in and daydreaming, and can be quite playful when in good company.
    - He absolutely adores animals

Name: Zaris

Age: 28

Race: Hylian

Social Status: Beastmaster

Skills:
- Very quick on his feet.
- As a Beastmaster, he is able to tame nearly any wild animal, even particularly ferocious ones. Though, he often has the best luck with canines and their kin. His profession also bestows upon him an unrivaled knowledge with regards to fauna.
- Incredibly proficient with whips.
- Good musical talent, able to play his particular beast-taming song, "The Wolves' Call", from memory.

Personality: To say that Zaris is an oddball is quite the understatement. While he does not harbor any hatred toward his fellow Hylians and the other anthropomorphic races of the land, he much prefers the company of animals, mainly Wolves and Foxes. He is soft-spoken, but this does not detract from his otherwise serious tone. Zaris typically does not speak unless he feels the need to, but when he does, he can be quite profound at times, having wandered the land many times over, witnessing new untold sights each time. Overall, he tends to act aloof, but all it takes to make him one's friend is to give him the right chance to warm up to them.

Quirks:
- Zaris has a bizarre, child-like fascination with the moon, sometimes even depriving himself of sleep just to stare at it.
- He has a major preference for meat-related dishes, but will otherwise eat anything.
- Zaris cannot fully decide on how his face mask should be positioned, and will pull it up or down at seemingly random intervals.
- Zaris believes he can directly speak to wolves, but this is difficult for him to prove.

History: Zaris was raised in a populous village, and his parents came to be known as the resident veterinarians due to their habit of tending to sick pets or animals that were otherwise at death's door, even before he was born. As a participant in some of these procedures, Zaris learned more than his fair share about animals and their physiology, as well as how to calm them. While he did attend school and interacted with the village folk, most of the other children avoided him on account of his eyes-- amber in color, a trait more suited to a wild animal than a Hylian. This was due to a particular rumor in the village that, after his parents attempted (and failed) to nurse a frail and dying wolf back to health, the beast admired their perseverance and bestowed a gift upon their soon-to-be son with its final breath. The more sensible residents, however, accepted it as nothing more than a unique abnormality. Upon finishing school, Zaris became a Beastmaster for the village, but was found to spend more time traveling than actually being present at home.

It was on his first voyage that he met the first being he could call a friend, a Maurado Wolf that he named Meril. The two of them became traveling companions, and were near inseparable for longer than anyone could remember. That was, until the wolf's life was unexpectedly cut short by Bokoblin hunters one fateful night. However, they were quick to join Meril in death as a pack of wolves dealt swift retribution. As they circled their slain kin, the wolves seemed to howl in a slow, haunting melody as they mourned. Zaris studied these sounds and mimicked the melody on his flute, only to shortly thereafter discover the pack inching toward him not for predatory reasons... but to accept him as one of their own, and permit him to join in the funeral. As a final tribute to his slain friend, Zaris honorably skinned Meril and had had the wolf's fur become the lining of a cloak to ensure that, in one way or another, he could never truly leave his side, even after a proper burial. A few more years passed, and in time Zaris acquired a fearsome pair of chain-whips forged by a Rito blacksmith at his request. Though Zaris could never truly be a wolf, he believed these weapons to be his own fangs and claws with which to strike evil down.

It was at the end of his most recent voyage that he was brought to a small village just south of Castle Town, where the story was due to unfold.

Items:

Feral Lashes: A pair of chain-whips that sport three claw-shaped blades each. They can be used in battle to slash at foes akin to a beast striking its prey (albeit from a distance), though it is also possible to make the blades spin like a weak rotary saw to hold a foe in place either on the ground or in mid-air. In either case, the whips themselves do not deal very much damage and are ineffective against armored targets, but make up for it with how fast they can hit. In a pinch, one of them can be used as a grappling hook. These weapons are not held in any sheath or holster, but are instead stored up Zaris' sleeves, allowing them to slide directly into his palms when he needs them.

Zaris' Flute: An ornate, hand-carved wooden flute and a memento of a previous visit to the Korok Forest. Zaris uses it to pacify creatures that are otherwise too aggressive to tame by his normal means, though he can also use it to play more uplifting and cheery tunes for entertainment. Zaris keeps it hanging gently at his right waist, and it is held in place by a miniature loop.

Rupee Pouch: A medium-sized cloth, drawstring bag that he uses to carry currency around. It bears a faded picture of a Red Rupee at its front, as well as a few inked designs resembling wolf prints. This sits on Zaris's belt at his left waist.

Skinning Knife: A trailing-point knife that Zaris uses for skinning animal hides and, occasionally, carving wood. The handle is engraved with crude, angular designs. This knife is not used in combat aside from split-second situations where Zaris' life is in peril, and rests in a small sewn sheath at his side.

Supply Pouch: A medium leather bag that Zaris stores traveling goods (and sometimes souvenirs) in. It is somewhat worn from excessive use, but still holds up strong. This bag hangs off of his left waist along with his money pouch, but more toward his rear.

Physical Appearance:

- 6' in height, with a moderately thin and lithe build and light skin.
- Medium-length, raven black hair that is held in a puffed, wolf-tail shape by a clip adorned by a circular topaz, along with several strands that dangle along either side of his face down to his collarbone.
- Amber-colored eyes.
- Thin, streak-shaped black tattoos along his face, mainly below his eyes.

Outfit:

- A black hooded cloak that is lined with soft, dark navy-colored wolf fur. The cloak itself bears a multitude of light brown motifs, including a particularly large front-facing wolf head on the back of the cape. Other designs include a pair of horizontal-scrolling jagged lines at the top and bottom separated by thin horizontal lines and dots, and vertical columns of holly leaves at either side of the wolf head.
- A black cloth face mask that can be pulled up to cover Zaris' mouth and nose, in addition to parts of his ears. Though not really seen, the cloth also extends downward to a certain portion of his neck. The mask bears a gold-colored detail that resembles a lunar cycle. It's mainly for decoration, but can be used to block airborne irritants such as smoke, sand, and ash.
- A light grey traveler's coat with a matching set of trousers and tool belt.
- Long, black fur-topped boots that extend up halfway up to his knees.
- Thin, fingerless dark leather gloves secured to Zaris' wrists by miniature buckles.

Name: Steve the Slime
Age: 46
Race: Slimey Slime
Social status: Neutral
Skills: Being able to live longer than average other of his kind and being resistant to most negative biome effects (like cold)
Personality: Adventurus, Stubborn, Self-Aware
Quriks: Long Livespan, Bad Memory of old things
Extra Info: Steve always had a mind of his own. He quickly learnt the speech of the commoners (aka. english) instead of trying to hunt adventurers. Instead, he became one himself as he is highly interested in seeing new places. He is a little old now due to his unnatrual age, but he wields a knife, has a beltpack with 32 rubees and maps and journals that are unreadable since they are soaked with water and slime. He uses the knife by transferring the handle trough his slimey body and positiong it at the current spot. He also has a neat little hat. He maintains his age by feasting on rare ores.

NPC #1
Name: Zelda
Age: 18
Race: Hylian
Social status: Royalty (Princess)
Skills: Planning (Wars, battles, scavenger hunts.. ext.), Crossbows
Personality: Normally a rather stern but just ruler she has a habit of taking charge of situations no matter how large they may be. Zelda tends to bury herself in studies of old legends or science. Much to the annoyance of her father she takes these legends very seriously. When things go wrong she tends to put all the blame on herself. (More TBA)
quirks: Over excitement when discovering something. Tends to forget the people around her when talking, loses track of time easily
-Extra information-
Items: Giants wallet(can carry 999 Rupees), Sheikah Kunai knife, Rarely a cross bow with silver arrows or a rapier.
Backstory: (TBA)
Appearance: (TBA)

Quetzal Rito.jpg
Name:
Lani
Age: 17
Race: Rito
Social status: Civilian

Skills:
- Agility flyer
- Archer
- Knife thrower
- Wind storm

Lani is a competent and agile flyer, she is handy with a bow and with her knife, though better at throwing it that wielding it in a duel. Lani can create strong gusts with her wings that can knock an opponent off balance or kick up sand and dust to reduce accuracy. She can carry a bit of weight when flying, though she cannot fly long distances holding more than 50 lbs. She could theoretically catch a hylian in mid-air and save them from a bad fall, anyone larger she would likely break a wing in the attempt.

Personality: Lani is cheerful and very talkative. She has spent all her life in the Rito homeland, never straying far past Lake Totori and she is not well-acquainted with the rest of the world. As a result Lani is interested in nearly everything and everyone. She is very curious and this in addition to her genuinely sweet nature makes her somewhat endearing. Lani is always quick to offer hep to those who need it and is a loyal friend tho those who show her kindness. Lani hasn't had a chance to test her bravery yet, she doesn't know it but she is very willing to put herself in harm's way to protect others. She has the inner strength and courage of her race with little of the pride.

Quirks:
- It's hard for Lani to stop talking when she really gets going.
- There are some things she has never experienced and she often will not know how to use items that seem common place to ground-dwellers. She has no idea about riding animals and finds the idea extremely strange.
- Lani often has trouble telling hylians apart. The same applies to Geruda and Gorons.

Extra information:
Lani is the only daughter of a dress maker and the local shop keeper in Rito village. She did not have a special upbringing, but her unique plumage made her a bit of an oddity with the other children. Her mother's family was apparently not from Rito village, but a far off settlement somewhere to the South. Lani grew up hungry for stories that travelers brought to the village, longing to see the world for herself someday, and perhaps find these long lost Rito her mother told her of. Once her training was complete and she could fly and fight with the best Rito warriors, Lani decided to strike out on her own, and make her dream of traveling come true.
