Full Profile

Basics

Legal Name:  Charlotte Colomba Perez

Age: 19

Birthday: 29th of Janurary

Gender: Agender (ze/zir/zirself)

Appearance

Eyes: Hazel

Hair: Short, messy, dark brown

Skin: Tawny brown, liberally freckled

Body Type: Skinny sort of stocky-pudgy.

In-Depth:

Lott comes from a mixed Mexican and African-American heritage, thought still retains a strong London-English accent from zir birthplace. Ze's always kept zir hair pretty short, never going much longer than the shoulders, though these days it's even shorter in that the shaggy brown mop doesn't go longer than the nape of zir neck. Kinda tall for a girl but kinda short for a boy, Lott feels zir height is perfect and even with the pudge on zir thighs and around zir middle ze still thinks zir weight is perfect too. Ze has rich, dark hazel eyes that often get a helping hand from some eyeliner. Zir is liberally sprinkled with freckles, not just across zir face but over the rest of zir body too. (Appearance is based off of Fo Porter).

Personality

In Short:  A quiet if not bubbily person who adores in new discoveries and in making anarchy of the laws of the world. A loner at heart but constantly bubbiling over with emotion who adores study and research but has little patience for rules. Enjoys other people, but can be quite thoughtless - likely has low empathy. Zir known as an unreliable friend. Abhors people who stifle creativity or who encourages a fear of trying or of the unknown.

In-Depth:

  • General

Lott is a peculiar mix. A loner at heart but constantly bubbiling over with emotion, Lott often keeps to zirself but has a hard time keeping things internal. When ze has news ze tends to fidget, bouncing and shaking from zir feet and rattling the rest of zir body (depending on how important ze thinks the news is). Ze can keep from making a single sound, but the contained words will vibrate out into their limbs. Lott doesn't naturally seek company but is content to have it. Ze is the kind of person that finds a comfortable silence easily.

  • Joy

Lott is a kinetic person and it shows with excess when ze is happy. Ze uses large gestures, talking as much with zir hands as with zir words. When specifically joyous, others will find that Lott's words are basically laced with a constant stream of chuckles as if ze physically can't stop from laughing with joy, even as ze speaks. Ironically, if ze is that happy but doesn't need to speak, ze won't be laughing or chuckling. Zir laughter will be silent, lips pressed tight and zir body shaking with it. Occassionally zir glee will be exlemparfied by ze clapping zir palms together in a childish manner. Lott is pretty easily entertained, but anything to do with [???] piques zir interest and tearing down rules or stereotypes is a plus.

  • Sadness

Lott has a very subdued type of sadness - very melancholy. Ze doesn't really get upset over failure but having research and knowledge outright destroyed is devestating. As a similar extension, ze finds it very disheartening to see people who's creativity has been stifled or who refuse to be creative. Stereotypes are also upsetting topics for zir. Lott still uses lots of gestures but they tend to be a lot more vague or slow and ze doesn't raise zir hands and arms up much passed zir waist when making said gestures. Lott has a hard time crying over even the most upsetting of events. Part of this is because ze has a hard time crying full stop - the most expression ze is likely to have is for zir jaw to shiver and shake. The other part is because ze is predisposed towards "Don't get sad - Get mad."

  • Rage

And oh boy can Lott get mad. Usually Lott's anger is characterised by, weirdly enough, a lack of gesticulation. The madder ze is the stiller ze gets and instead ze runs off zir mouth, shouting and insulting and swearing. If that's not enough, especially when the object of zir ire is inanimate, that's when it gets really bad. Because that's when Lott gets destructive. Ze will try to tear the object of their rage apart, utterly destroying it and they don't care much for anyone getting in the way. Lott also has the bad habit of lashing out, causing material or mental destruction in zir angry wake. Seeing people stifling creativity is something that makes zir tic, but more than that is seeing people encourage a fear of the unknown or a fear of trying.

  • Love

Lott hasn't had much time for love or lust and indeed has little patience for both. Ze prefers to be studying, researching or (lately) experimenting with zir powers and is known for spending most spare hours in the college libary or within the local public library. Not that ze isn't interested or anything - ze even has some experience. Lott likes almost anybody who can keep up and is unconventional. Odd hair colours are a natural attractor as are people with exuberant laughs.

Backstory

  • Was born in Ipswich, England to an upper-class family, though zir father was absent.
  • Older sister was raised as the heir to the family name, Lott was the 'spare' left on zir own for too long.
  • Loved to read, learn and research from a young age: favourite places was the estate's library or the estate's broad grounds.
  • Was socially ostracised from a young age - was often put into 'advanced learning' courses.
  • Became interested in science in particular; had a teen rebellion of trying to be smarter than zir schoolbooks at age 13.
  • Spent a year in America as an exchange student at age 15. Adored the experience & discovered that zir father was a US citizen (giving zir dual citizenship).
  • Grew interested in capes while staying in America - joined the PHO Forums.
  • Passed zir GSCE with flying colours at age 16.
  • Moved out of home and into an American homestay for zir final two years of highschool.
  • Initially struggled, but eventually managed to get back up to zir usual high marks, took some AP classes.
  • Graduated with high marks, went to a celebratory party (one of the few socialisations ze had).
  • Got horribly drunk, stumbled home, got lost, blacked-out.
  • Discovered ze was a cape.
  • Moved across the country to Carpenter Hills so as to enrol in University. Moved into on-campus dorms.
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor of Science, spent much spare time experimenting with powers.
  • Is currently in zir second year of zir degree.

Parahuman Stats

Cape Name: Pygmalion

Costume: A kevlar bodysuit, molded/crafted via powers. Over that, an ivory-coloured chiton and himation with imperial purple accents. Ze wears an ivory-looking mask (sculpted to look like a statue's face) and a wig of golden curls.

Power: Automaton Creation

Can psionically 'sculpt' minions from any inorganic material zir can touch.

Creation:

Minions must be crafted from inorganic materials - simple materials are easiest to craft, complex or mixed materials are difficult to craft (ie. concrete vs. pile of rubbish).

Once initial sculpting is done, minions become animate.

Pre-sculpted automatons can be re-sculpted or have extra pieces crafted on top of them. Automatons have no 'lifespan'.

Automaton quality directly correlates to time spent sculpting - the longer spent on an automaton, the higher quality it is in both capacity for orders and in durability.

Minions:

Minions (or automatons) become animate or are 'brought to life' after the initial sculpting/creation is complete. They animate with a basic capacity for thought (average intelligence of a potato).

They can be controlled directly or can be given simple orders to carry out. They obey mental commands.

Lott's 'passenger' will make sure the automatons continue their last order until Lott tells them to stop or unless they're destroyed.

Miscellaneous:

The PRT would likely class Lott as a Master 8 / Striker 5.

Lott's passenger didn't edit zir min so as to assist with controlling multiple automatons - zir's multitasking is only as good as zir baseline skill.

Pets:

Lott tends to call zir creations 'automatons'. General automatons come out as vague humanoid shapes about the height of a small dog. With more concentration these can become more defined or ze can create beings in a completely different shape.

However, Lott also has some automatons that ze keeps around for longer than one fight - repairing and improving them. Ze calls these zir 'pet automatons' or...

The Funky Bunch

  • Idras - Serpent-shaped, core made of cement. Zir first creation. Has since obtained a partial covering of various synthetic scales.
  • Polly - Bird-shaped, sparrow-like creature, made of biowood. Sculpted around surveillance equipment. Needs feathers glued to. (Make aerodynamic?)
  • Bunny / Rabbit -  Jaguar-shaped, core made of cement. Has since had metal claws & teeth added. The automaton for fights.
  • Galatea -  Humanoid. A long-running experiment.
  • Bruce - Shark-shaped, made of water. Can only exist while submerged in water. Currently inactive.

Bonds

Bond Threshhold: 10

Team - 4

  • Pygmalion is still figuring the team out and is trying to keep zir options open. It's mostly because of Cherubim that Pyg is on the team, though ze's been warming up to the others. Despite liking the team so far, Pyg still hasn't gotten the hang of being a team player. Ze has gone out on zir own since joining the team.

Balor: 1

  • Respects him well enough, after a fashion. Certainly respects the skewed morality scale - doubly so if ze remains an ally and not a target in Balor's eye. Still isn't used to following other's orders, but is well competent in learning other people's rules before ze breaks them. Is still in the 'learning the rules' phase at the moment, so is mostly compliant to zir new leader. Probably actually gets along reasonably well, especially as they have relatively similar heritages. Pygmalion likes to 'refresh' zir accent on Balor (does he still have one?).

Cherubim: 1

  • The pair used to be a cape duo. Ze's known her the longest of all of them, after running into her as they both raided one of the local gang's drug warehouses. Pygmalion can work with her, but pretty quickly found a number of moral deviations from each other. On the other hand, Cherubim could've easily have just gone to the PRT and Pygmalion is kinda impressed with her bucking that idea and causing havoc under her own terms. Every once in a while they have that "Oh yeah, we clearly grew up in different socio-economic classes" moment.

Penchant: 1

  • Despite being the younger of the two, Pygmalion is determined to be a bad influence on Penchant. Ze doesn't exactly understand people's moral attachment to 'being good' and concentrates more on the goals; so since Penchant is so clearly in it for the money, Pyg doesn't understand why he;s not so open to morally grey suggestions on how to earn more cash. Ze is certainly working on it, though. Get's along reasonably well, even if Pyg is probably a mostly antagonising presence.

Repel: 1

  • Could spend hours in silence, each doing their own thing. Appreciates the analytical, selfish, detached personality but is more fifty-fifty on the ego. When it's aimed at enemies, it tends to compliment Pygmalion's own ego. When it's aimed inwards to the gang, it rubs zir in all the wrong places and tends to remind zir that he's really just a child compared to most of them. Ze is willing to help with science homework, mostly so as to help Repel turn in assignments that are way smarter than the teacher's who assigned them.

The Law - 1

  • They're none-too-happy with Pygmalion. Actually, they're not incredibly happy with Lott, either. Lott tends towards being an anarchist so - in or out of costume - authority rubs zir the wrong way. Lott's never been in trouble with the PRT out of costume, but ze has been issued a warning or two from the local police. As Pygmalion, ze has made a point of defacing and generally mocking both the police and the collective PRT. Thanks to ze's distinctive graffiti tag, they know exactly who's been causing all these vandalism damages. And they can guess at the mastermind behind the pranks.

Carpenter Hills - 1

  • If you live in Carpenter Hills you've probably seen the garish "Pyggy Pygmalion and the Funky Bunch" graffiti tag before. You might even know the cape behind the name. Then again, you just as easily might not. It depends on who you are and how close to the villainous cape scene you already are.

Carpenter Hills University - 1

  • Lott's home away from home, aside from HQ. Lott may be a loner but ze's dedicated to learning. The library in particular knows zir well. The University is strangely absent of Pygmalion's tagging. Except, on occasion, the main offices.

Family & Friends - 2

Beatrice (Elder Sister): 1

  • The heir to the Lancaster family and living an ocean away, Bea and Lott actually get along quite well. They are each other's confidents - Lott listens to Bea's woes over being the heir and Beatrice listens to Lott's woes over zir research projects. Beatrice is well aware of Lott's connection to Pygmalion and zir 'extra-curricularactivities but has warned that if zir reputation ever starts to infringe on the Lancaster name, ze will be forced to disown zir. Lott agreed to this condition happily, joking "Only on the condition that I get to disown you from the Perez family."

Roommate: 1

  • Shares an on-campus dorm with Lott and functions as Lott's best friend. They get along well, even if they don't have a particularly deep relationship. Unbeknownst to Lott, they have a squish/crush on zir. They know that Lott is a cape, but drew the wrong conclusion that Lott's cape identity is Saturn from the local Wards. Lott has done nothing to discourage this assumption. They believe that they are Lott's sole non-PRT confident in this aspect and often grows astonished when Lott gets close to casually mentioning it to others.

Power Profile

Power Summary:

Can slowly telekinetically shape or sculpt permanent semi-sapient automatons out of non-living matter that is within the users line of sight. This process  takes longer the larger and more complex and intelligent the minion is. Small ones can take a few minutes. Larger, more complex ones can take hours of concentrated effort. A minion can be worked on infinitely, and can be repaired, altered, or augmented, so long as it retains at least 40% of it's bodymass. If a minion looses more than 60% of it's mass, it is rendered inert. Inert minions cannot be repaired.

Growth of sculpting material is limited by the amount of surface access of the original material. Growth from small surface area is exceedingly slow, while growth out of large surface area is much faster. The more growth, the complex the minion, and the quicker the growth and formation are limiting factors, intensely tiring the user in both body and mind. Attempting to surpass these limitations is possible, but often results in extreme exhaustion.

Ability Outline:

  • Advantages - Pet automatons (prefabricated minions).
  • Simple - Give basic commands to minions.
  • Simple - Form simple creature from a single unliving material.
  • Difficult - Create a complex minion, possibly from mixed materials.
  • Borderline - Sculpt a large, simple minion, quickly.
  • Possible - Grow large blockages or cover out of the surrounding terrain.
  • Impossible - Sculpt from living material.

Pet Automatons:

Idras - Serpent-shaped, core made of cement. Zir first creation. Has since obtained a partial covering of various scales.

Polly - Bird-shaped, sparrow-like creature. Molded around surveillance equipment.

Bunny/Rabbit - Jaguar-shaped. The automaton for fights.
