According to Greek mythology, humans were originally created with four arms, four legs and a head with two faces. Fearing their power, Zeus split them into two separate parts, condemning them to spend their lives in search of their other halves.
So that is what we do. Our soul mates were separated from us and we have to spend our lives searching for them and hoping to be together again. We all do not HATE Zeus, but we wished he would have made it easier for us to find our true love.
Our soul mates have the opposite power we do, that is why you are a perfect match, if you happen to find your mate, you will be together for life. But, whatever you do, DON'T GET WITH A DIFFERENT PERSONS SOUL MATE. It is said that if you try to get with a person that isn't your soul mate, your powers will have something like a chemical reaction, killing you both. You are only allowed to befriend those who aren't your other half.
Most of us don't even remember what our mates look like. They could be right next to you and you wouldn't know. In order to see if they are your other half, you share a birthmark in the same spot.
