Chapter 1: "Marked"
​

Those who are "Marked" bear distinct, brightly tattoos across their body. They are born with these markings, and they will only disappear from a person's body post mortem. Their color and design are indicators of what kinds of abilities this person will possess. There are four typical abilities, two advanced, and three rare 
​

Typical: 
​

1.) Water - Deep blue, wave designs
​

2.) Fire - Orange, flame designs
​

3.) Earth - Green, jagged designs
​

5.) Wind - Pale blue, swirling designs
​

Advanced: 
​

1.) Light - Gold, sun designs
​

2.) Shadow - Grey or silver, star designs
​

Rare: 
​

1.) Plasma/blood - Red, tear drop designs
​

2.) Life - White, designs random
​

3.) Death, designs random 
​

Chapter 2: "Origins" 
​

The exact origins of the Marked People are unknown. As legend has it, they were all born of Queen Marsala, a powerful demon queen from the North. She had nine children, each baring the gifts of the Marked. 
​

​

When her palace was sieged, she was slain and her children scattered into the population of early men.
​

The rest, as they say, is history. 
​

Chapter 3: "Queen Isla"
​

An heiress to the North who claims lineage from Marsala. She is Marked for Death, her powers growing stronger by the day. She uses her powers for her own purposes, killing and destroying anything that opposes her on the way.

Chapter 3 1/2: "Isla's Servants"
​

1.) Princess Tonya 
​

The once beautiful, adored Princess, enslaved by her older sister. She was the Queen the land needed, but her sister was born first, and had a right to the throne. No one could challenge it, and no one would. Marked for fire.

2.) Quoro
​

Her lover, a faithless man of a wealthy family. Handsome, but deadly. Don't cross him.
​
