MORE TO BE ADDED!

Nightmare/Engranussia: The Nightmare Realm is like the dimension of Engranussia's evil twin. It was created by Loki's youngest Dei-Loki when he was very young, and ever since then the Nightmare King (the Nightmare form of Dei-Loki's adopted father, Adrian) has stopped at nothing to try and catch Dei-Loki. This is because the only way out of this realm is through his mind. However... Upon finding out that Nightmare Adrian's daughter Malvo formed a pain-bond with Dei-Loki, he has ceased his endeavour.

Now, since the Nightmare Realm is a copy of Engranussia, it follows it's mythology.

Gods: Engranussia was created by the Maker, Asgrul Breckenridge. Just below him in power is the Shadow King Umbra, and the Light King Kevin. The All Father Odin assists Asgrul in looking over Engranussia as the third king - thus making the Gods of Asgard also worshipped. Together, they are known as the Three Kings.

Asgrul resides in the Creators realm, which is said to be a beautiful place filled with mythical creatures.

The Shadow Father, Umbra, resides in the realm known as Shadowheim. This realm is connected to Helheim. He is said to be the creator of the newer shadow creatures that were born after Scáth's rein.

-- 4,000 years ago... The Shadow Dragon Scáth ruled over the Kingdom of Shadowheim. Hungry for power, he'd seek to rule the four countries, as well as the Light Kingdom. His greed, however, was stopped by Asgrul, the Maker, whom fought and banished him to the threshold between the Light and Dark. And, from then on, the Shadow Father ruled the Kingdom of Shadows.

(He was also the creator of the Shadow Wardens. Scroll down for info on them.)

The Father of Light, Orin, resides in the Light Kingdom - where not a single drop of darkness can be found.

Both the Shadow Kingdom and Light Kingdom have always been at each others throats, due to the Light Kingdom's never ending hatred for all things regarding Shadows. It's simply a miracle that King Orin was able to form an alliance with the Nightmare King (which was carried out through an arranged marriage between Orin's eldest son and Nightmare Adrian's youngest daughter. Unfortunately, though, the Light Prince was slain by Adrian's rebellious guards - whom did not like the idea of an alliance with the Light Kingdom).

In order to keep the peace between Shadowheim and the Light Kingdom, a treaty was formed. In the treaty, it stated that if one Kingdom chose to hurt the other, this would be the "beginning of the end". In the event that the treaty is broken, it would trigger the Engranussian version of Ragnarök (to which both Dei-Loki and Malvo play a part in.) This is an event that the Maker is not allowed to stop, but, if the action of the Kingdom triggering the event is repaid with the same action within the next 48 hours, Ragnarök will be stopped. (Please note that, if the Shadow Father is slain, Dei-Loki gets the Shadow Throne. In other words, King Umbra has already chosen an heir.)

Shadow Wardens: Scáth is also the creator of the Shadow Wardens, to which he used as his soldiers. They were the only ones able to defeat the Blighters, as Scáth's bite would inject the blood of the Blighters into them - effectively making them immune. Now, unfortunately, sometimes Wardens would not survive the poison injected into them. So, what Scáth did to get around this was he also gave the Wardens a bit of his own blood. This would ensure their survival. But... It would also mean that they would bond with Scáth. Giving Scáth complete control. At first, Scáth used this for good. He used his men to fight against the Blighter General Ruvik. And, with the help of the spirits of Valhalla that Odin sent to fight, and a (at the time) 5 tailed Kitsune that also helped in the fight, Ruvik and his men were defeated. Scáth, at the time, was known as a hero due to his efforts.

The dragon used this to his advantage, as he controlled the Wardens to aid him in taking over everything so he could become ruler of all of Engranussia. But, to be able to take over, he would need to get the Light Kingdom out of the way. So, what did he do? He took the soul of his only son, and he sealed it into the object everyone now knows as the Shadow Octahedron.

Seeing that Scáth had such power, Asgrul gathered the remaining Shadow Wardens that weren't bonded with the dragon, and had them fight the dragon-bonded Shadow Wardens as Asgrul fought Scáth. The Maker won the fight, and banished Scáth to the Threshold (the area between the Light and Shadow Kingdom), and stripped him of his powers. Once the dragon was banished, Asgrul gave the throne to Umbra.

Asgrul then told the remaining Wardens to gather Scáth's armour, as well as their own, and seal them all away in caves and tombs scattered throughout Engranussia - and to use the power of the Shadow Octahedron to seal them all away. That way, the only one that can access it is the holder of the Shadow Octahedron.

- The Shadow Octahedron is now found within both Prince Dei-Loki and Prince Malvo (Yes, Malvo is called a Prince and not a Princess, despite her gender), whom are both Shadow Wardens that are (unfortunately) bonded to Scáth. There is also a third dragon-bonded Shadow Warden, and that is Dominic Kusland - Prince Dei-Loki's mate.
