The girl walked through the streets with the hood of her black cloak pulled over her head. The full moon shone over head as she walked, her shadow cast far over the street. She ducked down an alleyway, a gasp escaping her delicate lips as she stumbled over a figure sitting on the ground. She turned to face the figure with a slight frown. "Are you alright?"

Vuokko just kind of fell along with the direction of the girl that tripped. ".......I'll be ok, don't worry about me." Vuokko said in a failing voice. "She" sat back up slowly and just fell to the other side, no energy to get back up again, and just laid there silently, shaking. It's not like "she" wanted to be like this, "she'd" been on her own for as long as she could remember, barely able to stay alive.

The girl frowned again, crouchind down next to her. "No... Child, you're not in a good state. Come with me. I can give you a place to stay and a job once you are healthier" she murmured, helping the other to her feet and slowly beginning the trek back to her house. Entering the large stone building, and leading the girl to the couch, she helped her sit down.

"N...No...I'm okay..." She struggled to move to get up again, and failed miserably. She was picked up by the girl, and didn't have any energy to move, let alone fight being carried. She simply accepted that she had no choice, and gave in. Once she was put down on the couch, she almost passed out on the spot, using the little energy left to stay awake as to not be rude to the girl whom had just went out of her way to bring her there.

The girl sighed softly, making gentle cooing sounds. "No. Rest. You need it" she whispered, pulling a woolen blanket over the smaller Neko's shoulders. She remained next to the smaller female, gently brushing her hair, willing her into a slumber. This poor child, one could only imagine the horrid things that had happened to her.

Vuokko slowly started losing the will to stay awake after she started getting pet by the girl, and got permission to sleep. Her eyes would no longer listen to her and closed completely, though her mind was still conscious for a few moments. When she passed out, she almost immediately started having nightmares, and tears fell from her eyes. She didn't like sleeping because of this exact reason.

Jinx remained next to her, gently stroking her shoulder as she slept in an attempt to comfort her when she saw the tears. The wolf-girl felt bad for the poor neko, obviously she had been going through some rough times. As the hours passed, she noticed the girl finally relaxing and she got up to make herself some tea, humming softly to herself.

Vuokko woke up as Jinx got back with her tea. She slowly opened her eyes and eventually focused on Jinx. She still didn't have much energy to move, but sat up anyway. She hadn't even noticed the blankets, and stared at them in amazement. Why would this girl take such good care of someone like me? Vuokko thought, confused. She looked up at Jinx with watery eyes, completely appreciative to all that she's done.

Jinx walked back with two cups of tea and placed them onto the table, pushing one towards the other girl before wiping her tears away. "Don't cry, you're safe here" she said with a smile before sitting down and sipping her tea, watching the other girl.

Vuokko looked at the tea hesitantly. "What...is this? I've never seen this drink before." She said, and carefully took a sip, not wanting to be rude. "It tastes...Really good..." She drank more, but still slowly, not wanting to gulp it down. "My name is Vuokko...If you wanted to know." She said as she looked up with appreciative eyes and heartfelt gratitude.

The wolf girl looked up at her. "It is tea. Try it, it will make you feel better" she explained before sipping her own tea, her icy blue eye watching the girl before her and easily able to see the gratitude that resided within those eyes for her heelp. However, her expression remained plain and relaxed, not giving away her own emotions. "Vuokko? My name is Raven."

"Thank you, Miss Raven...For everything you've done for me." She struggled to get up, and walked over to hug Raven tight. "You are the first person that has ever even talked to me. I feel truly blessed to have met you." She clung for a moment, then went to go back and finish her tea. "Is there anything I can do to repay your kindness? Anything at all?"

Raven was surprised by the hug considering she was a noble and didn't normally let people touch her, but she allowed it this once. When the other girl went to finish her tea, she smiled. "Do not worry about it. As a way for you to repay me, I request that you work for me. I am a wealthy noble, so I can pay you for your services"

Vuokko shook her head. "I do not require pay to be of services of the one whom has saved me. I will be happy as long as I can be of use to you, Miss Raven." She looked at her happily with a smile. "If I ever dissatisfy you, feel free to be rid of me." Even as she said this, her smile did not change. She was truly happy with whatever the outcome, no matter what it may be.

She nodded slightly. "Alright then, but I only want you to start your work once you are in better health. Until then, I will have my other servants do the work. You however will be my personal servant, understand?" she said to her, quietly finishing off her tea.

"Understood, miss. I will do my best to aide you." She stood up and walked over to her side. "Is there anything that you require at this time?"

Raven shook her head, leaning back. "Nothing. All I want is for you to regain your strength before serving me" she explained simply, sipping her tea before placing the cup back down onto the table.

"As you wish. If you don't mind, I am going to get accustomed to the house. Do not worry, I will take my time so that I don't overexert myself before I am well." She straightened herself up and then bowed to her new master. "If I may, with your leave of course, miss." She said as she straightened herself again.
