• Name: Elliel ‘Littlestring’ Cralieth.
  Age: 9.

  Occupation: Apprentice scribe & cultural enthusiast.
  Alignment: True neutral.
  
• Appearance: Sylphlike to the letter. Elliel is small but features long and dainty extremities. Her family is one of the minor breeds in Oshus being useful but more redundant in later years. The distinguishing trait of this line isn’t the armoured legs or the small size, but the extra set of posterior legs that allow for a tighter grip and greater mobility against surfaces.
  While warm her skin is a pale white likened to that of bone and when cold her skin is a pale blue. Her leg plates remain the same colour at all times but match her cold skin in complexion while the pointed and hard toes are always the same colour as her warm skin.
  
  Personality:
  Adventurous and reckless. Elliel is a free spirit and hungers for the liberty that her city had never provided her with. She's heard stories of the great world beyond and of wells that stretch farther out than the mountain is deep. She's gullible and easy to persuade but possesses the desires to benefit herself above all else.
  She won't deliberately bring harm to others but won't shy away from doing so to ensure her own safety. Family and friends come above all else and while that would mean all the Hysh are most important, she does extend that to races beyond her own kind. Even her pets are seen as family.
  
  History/Bio:
  Born in the city of Oshus while under the rule of Elysium, Elliel has known no other home. In her early years she was raised and cared for alongside the other Hysh hatchlings. She was known as a troublemaker due to her smaller-than-palm size at hatching and overly energetic nature leading her to hide, run and leap anytime she could.
  She was a free spirit from birth and declared one officially at the age of three. She constantly attempted to run away from home. The nurses of the hatchlings often tried to reign her in but to no avail. While she never made it out of the underground city, she did get close a number of times by posing as a human child, a lost traveller, and just running for the gates.
  
  Once five the nurses wiped their hands of her. She was no longer safe guarded and was allowed to run around the streets however she desired. At least that’s what they told her. In actuality they believed by convincing her she had freedom, she’d want to stay. It backfired and she often used it as an excuse to push closer and closer towards the large gates.
  She’d spend hours a day spread out from a web in the sun’s rays getting warm. Many merchants and Elysian representatives quickly learned of her name due to her obsession with understanding why they were so different. Additionally, because she was so absent from the home environment of other Hysh she never learned about the goddess Fasha officially and had to learn from others her age or older.
  
  By the age of seven she had matured physically to her full size. She would grow no taller than this. Her family found it incredibly easy to identify her and they often encouraged her to stay in the webbed streets or at least in the city. Alas to no avail. Another thing worth mentioning is that she reached sexual maturity at this age and often experiences moments of intense aggression as she seeks out a partner. This strain of extreme protection and violent outbursts is deemed common and is a very predictable trait of the Cralieth. It requires isolation or a mate to ensure safety until the cycle has ended.
  
  Now nine she’s considered old enough to leave the city. She knows how to read and write, and speaks fluid common. She plans to discover the key to all of the cultures within Linhael and return to Oshus with all their secrets.
  
• Equipment:
  
  • Armour: Scholarly robes or a breezy cloth dress are what she often covers herself with. Most of her armour is naturally produced and comes in the form of hard bone plating along her legs and underside of her thorax-abdomen meeting point.
  
  
  • Weaponry: Twenty three charcoal pencils and a large scroll of parchment. All of her weaponry is natural, so she packs no actual weapons.
  Abilities:
  
  • (Trained) Literate - Knows how to read and write in common. She’s attempting to learn other languages but the only one she’s encountered so far is Luminian. It’s proving to be quite the challenge for her to adopt.
  • (Natural) Pygmy Hysh - Coming from a breed of smaller Hysh, she has a naturally agile and small frame that allows her to fit in tight spaces that only a dwarf or gnome could. Her Hysh biology grants her speeds much greater than that of a dwarf’s and provides her with the natural grace of all other Hysh.
  • (Natural) Cralieth blood - Cralieth are a specific bloodline within the pygmy Hysh lines. Their most defining trait is the extra set of legs that are situated towards the back of the thorax. This extra set of legs allows for a tighter grip on surfaces, faster leg work, and the ability to pull thread faster than other Hysh.
  • (Natural) Silk production - All Hysh are capable of silk production minus a few specific bloodlines that have developed more potent venom or are too large to effectively utilise it. Her silk is of the stronger variety and considered extremely adhesive.
  • (Natural) Natural weapons - All Hysh are natural predators. Elliel is no exception. Her fingers are firm and long functioning much like claws but less rigid. She has a pair of fangs that are small and apply a very mild venom, and large legs that can be used as thrusting weapons if needed.
  Other:
  
  • Elliel has a two pet cats and a Goliath spider named Mittens, Tiger, and Fuzzle buzzle respectively.
  • She takes only one pet with her while adventuring and becomes fiercely protective of them during periods of heat.
  • At full extension of her legs she stands at 4’4 but at her normal walking height which sees her low to the ground, she stands around 3’10.
