Little Did They Had: Violence Never Ends (DrHuggies)

Dreamer By Day

The Banshee

The sun rose at it's highest peak, shining heavily behind curtain as she slept on the uncomfortable mattress. Her hand twitched when a loud cry appear. Then twitched some more when dream soon turned more into reality next, until her ear was blasted with new sounds causing to wake from her terrible nightmare.

Kelly opened her eyes in a tiredly fashion. White turned to red eyes as it circled around her pupil, explaining to her distress and lack of sleep. She had eyes in which bagged underneath, also explaining in addition to her tired and exhausted body. The loud cries of the baby was able to wake the tired mother as she remembered the loud crisis of tears, which occurred from the morning earlier, causing her to sigh in defeat. However, there were nothing to fuse about; he was only a week old. The exhausted mother once again got up and strolled over to the crib, hovering her head over the crib and weakly smiling to the baby, known as her son. She had given birth to him on July 7th at 1:15 A.M, the week before her birthday. The birthing was dreadful and exhausting; so many pushes and screams that it made Kelly become annoyed with by her own cries. The birth took at least a few hours to properly become a success because of its head, or the least she knew from; the doctors had to almost "fight" Kelly in order to push. But overall, just by looking at him she could remembered it as if it had happened yesterday. Kelly remembered when she first held him in her arms looking deeply in his hazel eyes as he coo softly. His small body pressed against hers, causing her to worried mostly about not to crush him, but of course, hold him gently. And, already by then, she knew he was perfect and with that, she loved him so much she quietly watched as he was being fed by his father. The relationship mother and son was growing, especially for daddy; the father. But, not all of the happiness remained as she thought it would be.

As you can see, Kelly wasn't a person you would usually think. Kelly has been just like any average teenage girl who did great process in school work and managed to get them done. However, after meeting her boyfriend, that's when everything had changed. - School was still going on then and class was still an success, but the potential behavior wasn't working to well with the teachers nor students. - There would time when she would break the rules, of the school, and times when she would skip school, but without her parents knowing. Thus, her parents worked as professional and top mastery people who DID went to college and got a high record of their career in order to be successful Like, her mother who is an Anesthesiologist doctor and father who is a supreme court lawyer. And a daughter who is out, living on her own and pregnant. Kelly wouldn't forget that day when she was kicked out. Overall, she didn't went to college nor even tried to go. Nevertheless, her boyfriend was also in a gang. Kelly guessed it wasn't to bad? Though, sadly, with not enough money and extra mouths to fear, it was a troublesome.

Not only that, with no family members to support the new family, it was a struggle. And, with her just becoming a 21 year old, mature women, it was a struggle for her as well.

After grabbing ahold of her son and securing his body around her arms, she held him tightly but gently and carried him to the bed where they can at least relaxed. Thankfully, the crying has stopped and Kelly was able to at least think for once. She glanced down at her son's eyes and smiled happily, gladly wiping away the dry tears from his face before leaning down and giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Sh...it's okay. Mommy is here." He finally decided to show a little "compassion" and show a smile, his gums as for now. The moment of silence between them last for awhile before the fusing of her son's soon began and the fuse for food soon started. Kelly didn't hesitate and quickly lifted her shirt, beginning to breastfeed her son. Her delicate hands soon removing the stray of hair and behind her ear, after laying hardly against her back. She sighed then.

It was the peak of morning, not an ideal time to be awoken by the ghastly screams of an infant. Cassius was pleasantly dreaming when the baby boy awoke him, dead in the morning.

Groaning, Cassius crawled out of bed and stumbled out of the bed. His 6ft4 body having to bend to get through the door. Cassius was a muscular man, perfect for his place in a gang. His gang held a respectable position in the town where Cassius and his girlfriend Kelly lived. Cas didn't go to college and instead took his time with the gang. He needed the money to help feed his girlfriend and his son. Cas always carried around with him a knife and a pistol, since in the shabby parts of the town where Kelly and he live are very dodgy and filled with rival gang members. A big scar runs down the side of his face from a knife battle with a rival gang member. He also has many scars on his stomach and back, his toned abs covered in white marks of battle.

Cas's parents had died when he was young, leaving Cas alone with an abusive, drunk uncle, where Cas became the tough person he is now. He grew up unloved and it reflects in his rough attitude to others apart from his girlfriend and child.

He walked to the bed with his girlfriend and the baby and crawled back into the covers with them. After his girlfriend had managed to quieten the baby, Cas closed his eyes and slowly drifted to sleep.

Feeling the slight movements of the bed shifting she realized he was awake. Kelly glanced tiredly over her boyfriend direction and smiled weakly then. Her eyes reappearing back to her son as who lowly grunted while he drank. His hands were tighten into tiny fist and pressed gently against her breast, making Kelly to inference he was enjoying it his meal and was safe from danger. But, then again, just by thinking the environment they've lived on it turned Kelly's smiled upside down. Living in an environment fill with chaos and mostly in the ghetto at which is in the depth of a troublesome state, Kelly knew it wasn't anywhere near good for her nor her newborn. The fact there's always something going on between gangs and police it was annoying. She hated to have wear specific clothes in order not to get herself killed by one, since the gang(s) had a specific color in order to represent the gang and no one couldn't represent nor wear the color expect them. However, if you did wear it and was caught you'll find yourself dead by a pop.

"What do you think we should do today?" She suddenly asked with a sigh. Kelly had realized she almost silent for more than 3 minutes and noticed her son wasn't drinking his meal anymore when she glimpse down after once again hearing a low fuse of his cries. Pulling down her bra and shirt she then fixed him into a proper position and gently rest his tiny head on her shoulder, leaving the rest of is body to lay across down her chest. Now it was burping time. Moving her hand to the center of his back she began to tap gently.

Cas was awoken by a small ray of sunlight that seeped into the room from the broken blinds. He stood up slowly, so he didn't awaken Kelly and got out of the bed. He walked over to the kitchen and got a small glass of water and some bread for breakfast. Life was bad, they had not much food or money and the conditions were bad. Kai put on a black t-shirt, black pants and a black hoody before shoving a sawed off shotgun into his belt. After kissing both the sleeping baby and Kelly on the foreheads, he left to meet his gang out on the streets.

The hideout was next to a bar and to enter it you had to go down a small flight of stairs. Inside stank of smoke and alcohol. After meeting the gang leader to say he was here, the leader told everyone to gather up.

Kelly had fallen asleep when she had a slight feeling Cas won't be waking any as she thought he be would. Once Jack was fully fed and burp, she got up and placed him back inside his crib, where he usually slept. After settling him inside, Kelly strolled herself to bed and curled in underneath the covers, cuddling herself close to Cas as possible, her head resting on his chest as she took a shut eye. With her family and baby safe and fast asleep she knew she could trust her motherly instincts.

It felt like she had been asleep for hours after a short morning feeding Jake. Her eyes slowly reopening before looking around the silent room, her attention soon drew her side as if something was up. Noticing it was empty and alone with no marks of Cas's body she had feeling he wasn't home at the moment. The house wouldn't usually be this quiet but it was quiet. Well, techinally. As a mother, Kelly found it cute enough as she would listen to the small snorts of her son's as he slept peaceful during the cruel times of the world. However, with him, it felt happiness for Kelly.

Guessing Cas would be fine she didn't worry much.

The briefing was simple and easy. They were going to do a raid on a nearby gang hideout. Cas had been waiting for a moment like this to arise. Raids like these would give Cas the money to help support his family.

The ran out the hideout, equiped with various assortments of weapons. Cas leaped onto a motorbike and rode off to the hideout.

With minutes only sitting in bed with eyes closed, the silence of the "empty" house was killing her as she knew she needed to do something. Already, she was beginning to get bored...and hungry. Getting up and crawling off the bed next, with a lazy grunt, Kelly walked out the room - knowing Jake would be alright - and went inside the kitchen. Her hands already on the handle of the refrigerator door she opened and looked hungrily inside. However, nothing besides a bottle of beer, bread, and everything else basically expired, she sighed and closed it with a slam.

Kelly had seconds thoughts about checking the cabinets but had a feeling it would be the same as the refrigerator - empty and expired. Whimpering she strolled herself hungrily back to the room, closing the door behind her.

However, Kelly didn't have went to bed. Instead she went to the front of the room and glanced silently to the square mirror that stood against the beige colored wall, and stood there "admiring" her beauty and her thin body. Placing a hand on the stomach that is now currently wrinkle with stretchmarks, she then lowered her head and glimpsed down at the frame of pictures in front of her and smiled. Each swift glanced she managed to picked up, each of them represented a picture of her or either a picture with her family [in the past] or with Cas, however, they were only old and not recently. And with each picture she looked at, it either took her a full- time minute or so to fully become aware of the feeling, or sensitive spot to suddenly awake; and it worked. Each picture managed to place a touching yet memorial spot for her.

Until the sound of closing door startle her. Was it Cas? Slowly as the footsteps came louder and closer to her doorstep it stopped. "Cas?" She called out. No response.

When they arrived at the hide out, the leader stepped off his bike and pulled out a shotgun. Placing the shotgun on the door to the hideout he counted down from three. When his hand became a fist, all the members of the gang ran into the door and the leader smashed it down. Splinters of wood from the door flew into the air as Cas smashed through the door with his gang members. The air was filled with the sound of gun shots and people to either side of Cas fell to the ground, dead. Cas dived behind an over turned table and lay there. To his left he saw a rival gang member so Cas brought out his pistol and fired, the bullet piercing the mans skull. He slumped to the floor. Cas ran over to the man and took the man's wallet. He put all the money in his pocket and threw the wallet away.

There was a door a few meters away and Cas dashed to it. He smashed through the door and entered the room. There was a man to his right and Cas blasted him with his shotgun, the man flying back and hitting the wall, dead. Cas then walked into the room and found a small stash of cash. Cas was delighted, he seized the money and put it all in his pockets. He then left the room to see that the whole place had calmed down. It was an easy win for Cas's gang since the enemy had been taken by surprise.

"Cas?" She called out once more, hoping this wasnt some sort of trick he was playing. As more of the house silence and got even more suspicous, the shrieking sound of a door suddenly opened. Until this point on the trigger of fear was haunting within Kelly as if she could feel its eyes staring at her, watching her every move. Once the door was fully opened, behind it exposed a guy behind a painted skull mask, with a loaded gun and knife in both hands. Kelly could see his eyes glowing at hers as she noticed it was beginning to slowly approach her way. The guy behind the mask looked at least around his twenties - brown hair, hazel eyes, and tattoos from his upper arms down to his finger. Something about this guy made Kelly wander for second. "who are you?" She asked, closing her eyes tightly as he now was only a few inches from her, breathing heavily in front her face even though the mask was in its way, the only smell of strong acohoacl can define his scent. Without a answer, he then strikes at her face causing for Kelly to hit the floor with a thud.

"Cassius!" She finally screamed out, tears dewelling from her face during the painful strikes of punches as it came across her face, leaving deep marks on her skin but luckily not for life. With weak eye version at the moment, Kellys chance of making a few punches out of the guy was useless. Only feeling her sharp nails digging into the skin of the mans face, ignoring the fact he did had a gun and knife, she continued for few more moments before suddenly feeling herself being dragged out the bedroom and into the living. Screaming more for help she knew nothing would work since Cas would be probably miles away from home, though just when she was about to release another scream, a hand gripped her by the throat and caused her chances from screaming to end.

Weak and beaten up, she came to end when she couldn't fight anymore. And just by luck of sight for the guy with a cruel smirk, he soon stabbed his "most trusted" knives into thigh and made a run for it. "ahhh!" Now, collasping down towards the floor again Kelly cried in pain as she tightly held on to her leg.

Her sons cries soon brusted out as if he was afraid from the attack.
