Super hero name: Immortus
Alter ego: Joseph Vecna
Age: 212yrs
backstory: Many decades ago Joseph was inflicted with a disease. Vampirism, a curse which was far less supernatural than most believe. He listened to the myths and legends regarding the subject and sought to rid himself of his cursed existence by slaying the one who turned him. This task proved more than he could accomplish however, the immortal who turned him was much older, and much more powerful. As such he resigned himself to a much more sneaky tactic. He vowed to serve the ancient vampire, then once he had learned of his abilities and how to properly use them he drained his sleeping master of his blood. In an instant his power grew considerably, and most of the weaknesses associated with vampires vanished. Unfortunately his curse was not broken. That was seventy years ago. And he has spent the past seven decades fighting the ways of wicked men from the shadows.

Gender: Male


Major powers-
Immortality+2- Joseph doesn't age, he doesn't breathe or even eat. Poison will not effect him, nor will disease. He is not immune to being damaged by mundane means, but he will quickly regenerate from seemingly all forms of harm. Even losing a limb or an organ is non fatal. If decapitated he will die, but only until his head is reattached at which point he will come back. A stake through the heart is similarly effective as he will stay dead until someone removes it. Silver can slow down his ability to heal but not remove it altogether.

Enhanced physiology- Josephs physical abilities are far beyond a normal humans. He can lift up to two tons, and is fast enough to outrun even the best of sportscars.

Bloodfueled- by drinking blood all of Josephs abilities grow stronger. The most he can boost it is by 10x but this requires him to feed until he is full, which can take several days.


Moderate powers 3

Keen senses-josephs hearing is capable of detecting heartbeats form over 50 yards, his smell can allow him to track someone miles away, and his vision is perfect for a human, and capable of seeing in absolute darkness. What's more is that his brain is augmented to be able to take in all of this stimulation without missing a detail.

Heightened intellect- being over 200 years old has its perks. He can speak, read, and write in 12 languages, has extensive knowledge of medical science, architecture, Warfare, psychology, chemistry, and biology. Most of which came from him attempting to learn how to destroy himself.

Glamour- A predatory trait that all vampires posses is a type of hypnosis that makes people become hopelessly enamored with them. Strong willed people can easily overcome this.



Minor powers 3
Mist form- Joseph has recently discovered the ability to turn himself into a blood most to avoid damage. His mastery over this ability is shoddy at best, as it doesn't always work and when kg does it is extremely draining.

Creatures of the night- Joseph has recently learned of an ability to telepathically command most nocturnal creatures. Bats, cats, rats, owls, and wolves are the only such animals he has been able to test this on. And his control is limited to simple commands that don't override their instincts.

Contagious- Joseph can infect others with Vampirism if he doesn't kill them while drinking from them. He has only done so once in his entire life and it was to save a woman whom he loved. Unfortunately she killed herself by waiting for the sun, she did not share his immunities to the weaknesses of vampires. Beings that are immune to disease kg have a healing factor cannot be turned.

Personality: Joseph is a bit of a cynic. He is almost always wearing a smirk on his face and Can be quite cruel when need be. However usually he is calm and apathetic. He despises evil people and those who claim he is evil based upon what he is. Religious zealots who persecute him are among his least favorite people. He will from time to time seek aid and consultation from other heroes, but due to his specific style of heroism he often opts to work alone.

The hero legends a a lawful team and don't like to hurt people, he will mostly have to drink animal blood or (if you like) there is a Hero Legends hero called The Black Magi he will counsel you on how you can use your powers better and not hurt people, if you wish to change you may too but I have an idea of how you can use your powers better, just had one just now heh...you are approved for this character though if you wish
 
By the way you have six skill points 3 for level 3 2 for 2 and one to learn a new one just put +1 to that skill if you level it, and skill copy takes only 1 skill point you might get lucky!

Well i didnt intend for him to feed on people anymore. He feeds on other vampires, or inmates wgo are on death row. If thats not acceptible then i can have him feed on cows but he will have to kill them afterwards. No one wants a vampire cow.

And hes been leveled. I just put it all in his immortality as that is his primary focus.
 
I should mention skill points can add different effects to those same powers, but the effects start at 1 and so on as well
 
Immortality can reach no higher at this point than +2 or any major skill until after the first played saga and immortality guarantees not much in this universe where even non immortals have the power to fight immortals, remember, this is important.

Its ok im not going for op, more so for permanance.he can still be killed off but the reason i added the +2 was because he lacks the kryptonite like weaknesses of a normal vampire. He will be hard to kill, but killing and defeating someone are two different things.

Here I will make an example of a good character sheet...this is Ogre man and Data as of now...

Name: Jeffrey Keith Miller
Super hero name: Ogre Man
Backstory: He was a fat angry kid until an accident at school combined with a bite from the Ogre bug made him into a handsome, strong angry adult, at least with thanks to Komodo helping him control his rage and harness it in a sort of rage mode when he is in trouble.

1. Nexus strength +3: He has super strength derived from nexus and plant energy it is from not only positive and neutral, but also negative nexus as well, making his power often unstable, so his emotions sometimes get the best of him.
2. Shadow technique+1: when his strength fail him and it gets dark, he keeps this hidden from the group, but he can become shadow. He can still get hit but he is resistant to magic attacks in this form, especially since he is not good against it in his first form.
3. Rage mode+3: he goes into a rage where he is angry beyond belief, to up his strength 1000% and he is very tough to beat. He often looses control but has a minus to magic energy resistance to give this an extra boost, plus a certain spell can kill him slowly not unlike superman and kryptonite.

-1 (you can take a negative effects to make one of your hero skills stronger or give an extra minor power/skill slot)
Magic energy weakness: magic energy can kill him easier and a certain spell in the 5.0 D&D Phb can kill him slowly but surely. (in this universe it sucks out all the life and light and water out of the room or space and replaces it with another thing that is unnatural in nature.)


1. Durable healing+1: he can heal fast thanks to plant energy and is a bit more durable when he is healing but only slightly and he also has vine like toughness.
2. Agile like a fly trap+1: He is agile and is very important quick and can shake off an attack pretty decently.
3. Mouth/eyes heat beam+2: He has mouth and eye heat ray beams and is pretty decent at making them deadly.
4. Hand beams: has recently learned how to make essence beams come out of his hands and can aim better than his mouth or eye beams.


1.Rich+2: he is a billionaire play boy thanks to his company JefTech which his side kick data mostly runs by himself.
2. See hand beams, now upgraded.
3. Sidekick non similar: Slot taken to make sidekick not have same powers.

Personality: he is very anti hero, he used to love the hero game but is now very pessimistic about it. He can be a bit moody, or maybe that's the rage talking, whiter way he has not had fun in a few years.

Super hero name: Same (he usually does not see the general public)
Backstory: Ogre Man just found him one day and they decided to help each other.


1.Technolord Creation+6: unbeknownst to anyone he is a technolord and can make advanced tech out of thin air
1.Tech wiz+3: Data is a genius at technology if it is known or even hidden tech, he can solve its secrets.
1.Control Tech+1: Data can attempt to control any tech he sees but if he does not know it well he won't be able to.
Special skill, Weapon Data+12: Data can turn out any weapon from his arms he wants to help fight, in the words of an evil man "You'd be surprised at what you could live through!"
Sidekicks lower skills can only be half of the next skill up, also get the hero's skill points and can level up indefinitely. Special skills have no level restrictions but are often weak even if the skill is powerful.
You can take up a skill slot of that hero to make them not have the same powers as the main hero.

Maybe you are all hesitant to play this game because you don't know how it goes? Let me give you an example of play:
In the peace keeping mission you can let the hero's handle the space battle or you can join them...
Player 1(mission leader): we will let the hero's handle it because we don't have a good enough space handling team yet...
GM: the hero's handle it with ease you all gain a skill point for recognizing that you space fighting skills are not up to snuff yet...
Player 2: do the hero's need any healing from the space battle?
GM: one of them (the Ottoman Turk) sustained an injury you heal them and player 2 earns a skill point for healing and preparing for the ground battle.
Player 3: I use my skills in assessing the battle field to gain a bonus to my first strikes in combat...
GM: I dont see combat maneuvers on your sheet player 3...
Player 3: but because my skill reads "heightened intellect" I propose I would know something about battling...
GM: you logic plea is accepted you not only gain a skill point for assessing you gain another for your logic plea wins you now receive this information as to what you assess There is a spot on the jets they use that when hit it will activate hover mode and bring them down easily without crashing also disabling there systems and landing them safely
Player 3: I tell the team about this spot...
GM: you earn a skill point for helping the rest of the team...
GM: player 3 has earned three skill points in a row and earned half of a legend point earn three more in a row to become legendary and earn a legend point...
