All of the trainees were told to move to a dorm in Seoul, so that they could mingle and collaborate on their training. Bongju was the first to arrive at the dorms. He didn't have much with him, just some clothes, a notebook, a couple pair of shoes, and a bag with about 3 years worth amount of canned tuna and canned peaches. He unlocked the door, since all the trainees were given keys to the dorm, and found a piece of paper on a table in the center of a hall in between a bunch of rooms.

"Park Sanha, huh.. Guess I've got a roommate." Bongju grabbed the other key in his key ring and unlocked his room. It was okay, a bunk bed with a small couch, some cabinets, 2 bathrooms and a small kitchen. He took out some sticker paper that had the words Bongju in Hangul. He sticked it onto the 1st cabinet, and placed his clothes and the food bag inside. He set his shoes aside near the door, and laid down on the bottom bunk bed. "So this is my life now."

ye rim double checked she had packed everything in her suitcase correctly multiple times, and overall it took her about 20 minutes to take her final step out of the door. her mother just wouldn't let her go from her hug. "I'll be fine, mom! I promise you, I'll be a worldwide superstar. It just takes some training."


after arriving at the trainees living quarters, ye rim fiddled in her pocket for the key she was given earlier by one of the staff members. taking it out and inserting it in the keyhole, the girl rolled her pink suitcase in to the room. "Woah, it's pretty spacious. I wonder if I'm the first one here?" ye rim peered around, but it seemed obvious that a door was unlocked. "Hello? Is anyone here yet?"


looking down at the sheet of paper, ye rim assumed that this was who was roommates with who. "Ah, I'm with Chae Jihyo. I hope we get along..." ye rim put the piece of paper down gently on the table and walked over to her room, unpacking the things on her bed. she was glad that she was one of the first few here- it gave her the advantage of choosing what bed she wanted.

Jihyo looked down at her suitcase. It was zipped shut and almost bursting at the seems, her mother stood in the corner of her bedroom shaking her head as Jihyo pulled the suitcase off her bed and upright onto the floor, all the while pulling an overly dramatic face at the weight. Jihyo and her mother laughed, she could see her mother start to get teary eyed and ran over to give her a hug, mumbling something along the lines of "Don't cry! It's okay, anyway, you still have Jaehyun to smother.", the last part earning her a gentle tap on the back of the head. Jihyo had said goodbye to her younger brother earlier on that morning, before he left for school.


The time to leave finally came, her mother kept hovering over Jihyo as she pulled the suitcase to the door. Jihyo's father was sat in his armchair, a newspaper folded up in one hand and a mug of coffee in the other. He gave Jihyo a smile, gesturing for her to come over and give him a hug, to which Jihyo obliged gladly. Her father wasn't the most emotional of people, he was actually rather cold and wouldn't often say he was proud, but today Jihyo could sense it in the way his actions were different. Plus, Jihyo's mother cooed over the fact that apparently her father cried the day the agency accepted Jihyo into the program. Jihyo gave her father a quick hug and ran back to the front door, grabbing her suitcase and small backpack after saying goodbye to her mother.


After a short journey, Jihyo arrived at the dorms and pulled out a sheet of paper. 1B; Hoo Ye Rim. Letting out a gentle sigh, Jihyo made her way to the room, dragging her suitcase behind her. "I hope she's nice." Jihyo mumbled before coming to a stop outside of 1B.


Jihyo pushed the door open, letting out a slight groan at the weight of both the door and her suitcase and the awkwardness of trying to open it whilst pulling her suitcase in at the same time. Embarrassing much... Putting on her best smile, she entered the room properly, her suitcase stilling just as the door shut behind her. There were two beds in the room, one taken up by a girl's belongings already, and Jihyo assumed that she must be Ye Rim.


"Hello, I'm Chae Jihyo." Jihyo gave a polite bow in the girl's direction, smiling all the while.

Park Sanha

​

Sanha couldn't believe he was actually a trainee. It was a dream come true. Despite all of the hard work he knew he would have to put in for many years, he was definite that he would have the time of his life. He wouldn't be seeing his family as regular but he knew they would keep in touch via video calls, phone calls and much more. If it wasn't for them, he wouldn't be where he is now.


The journey to the dorms was short and Sanha was now at the dorms with a slip of paper with his dorm number. 1A. Sanha walked down the halls until he found the door and unlocked it. There sat a boy at the bottom of the bunk-bed. He examined the room quickly and decided it was pretty alright. "Hey. I'm Park Sanha." He said with a smile and walked into the room. He made his way to one of the cabinets without the paper stuck to it and leaned his suitcase against it. He would unpack later.

Moonbyul was seated quietly in the backseat of the car with her two older sisters as they traveled to the dorm in which she would be staying in. The ride their was full of teasing remarks from Hyuna and Hani during their reminiscent conversation. Once the car pulled up to the entrance, her father took out her suitcase and handed it off hesitantly. Moonbyul could see the sadness in his eyes that showed her that he did not want to let his little girl live in an unfamiliar place. She quickly hugged him and stuck her tongue out at her sisters before dashing into the building with the information card held tightly in her grasp.


"Room 1C...and it looks like I'll have a roommate, Chibata Miyuki. I hope we'll be able to get along," Moonbyul walked down the corridor until she reached the room that had 1C plastered on to it. She took in a shaky breath and unlocked the door before her, full of anxiety and doubt. The relief that came from being the first to enter the room amazed Moonbyul. It was her first time getting the opportunity to sleep in a bunk bed and it amused her childish side. "I'll just claim the top bunk for now and hopefully catch a little bit of sleep before Miyuki shows up," she immediately began to unpack her belongings before climbing the small ladder to the top bunk with a black down covered body pillow. Moonbyul was grateful that her midnight blue cover had been sent ahead of time and she quickly tossed it up. Miyuki had finally finished packing. Her father was anxious and nervous about bringing her to train and miss out on the rest of her childhood, but she assured her father that everything would be okay. On a quick car ride, she had arrived at the dorms. Her father gave her her bags and gave her a last hug and kiss on the cheek before saying goodbye. "Goodbye, father."


The young girl would say her goodbye with a hint of sorrow but a teensy bit of excitement. She tried to unlock the door but she saw that it was already unlocked. 'Are the others here already?' the girl would worry, but she took a big breath and went inside. She looked at the paper and went to the room number assigned. The door was open and she saw a girl there. "Hello! My name is Chibata Miyuki! Nice to meet you!" she would greet with a bow, but she saw they were fast asleep. She snorted.

Moonbyul was in the middle of dreaming about performing on a stage when a loud voice forced her to wake up abruptly. Her first reaction was to immediately sit up which resulted in hitting her head against the wall with a good amount of force. This is not how I planned on our first meeting work out. Whimpers escaped Moonbyul as she jumped down unsteadily. She tried her best to appear put together and not as disoriented as she felt even though her bangs stuck out in different directions.


"Um...Hey, it's nice to meet you too. Chibata Miyuki right? I'm Moon Byul Yi." Moonbyul winced slightly at throbbing pain from the back of her head. She focused on her roommate and suddenly wondered who was older between them. Moonbyul hoped that her little accident didn't ruin the girl's first impression of her.

Bongju blinked at the guy before him. He was handsome, dressed like a nice guy and seemed like friend material. He got up and bowed. "Hello! My name is Sun Bongju, 16 year old dork, specializes in dancing! it is very nice to meet you!" Bongju would say as he'd grin and continue.


"I presume you are Park Sanha?" It'd been a while since Bongju had met any guys to hang out with, since most of his days were in his house, being tended to and being the pretty boy. 'I guess things will change..' he would think as he looked at the handsome fellow.

Park Sanha

Sanha bowed, "Nice to meet you. I'm Park Sanha. Fifteen years of handsome." He joked with a wide grin on his face. "How did you know it was me though? Did they give you a heads up?" Sanha asked, his expression changing to slight confusion for a couple seconds before returning to normal. He walked over to the small couch and plopped down. His eyes flickered across the room quickly to examine it once again.


The room could really use some decorating, it was very bland if you asked Sanha. This would be his new home for a few years and this would be his roommate. Sun Bonju. He was going to be in a band with a bunch of strangers who all had the same dream as him. To debut and be idols. It would be hard but worth it.

shocked, ye rim turned around after she had heard someone's voice. "Ah, hello! I'm Ye Rim, it's nice to meet you." ye rim smiled kindly and put her hand out to shake hers, but realised that it was a bit old-fashioned. the girl awkwardly put her hand behind her head and smiled once again.


"What do you think we'll be doing once we have all finished unpacking?" ye rim looked around the room and then back at jihyo. "I'm guessing we'll either practice or get something to eat."

Miyuki had flat out laughed, which ended up with heavy breathing. "Ha.. I'm.. sorry.." she'd say as she took a big gulp of air and bowed. "So, I guess we're roommates for the next couple of years?" the girl would ask with a slight hint of humor in her voice. She'd set aside her bags on the side of the room. She'd sit on the couch, awaiting the response of a new friend.

"Haha. There was a paper over at the table, had your name and mine. I guess I'm your hyung!" he would add, as he sat down on the couch next to the boy and punched Sanha's arm lightly. "You could unpack later. Maybe we could meet the others? I'm pretty sure we're the only guys here."


As he awaited Sanha's answer, he looked at the room once more. Since he barely saw color, he didn't see much except that the sheets were blue and his clothes were just black. Without much thought, he took out his phone and opened it with the passcode. For some reason, the phone lit up and the brightness hit his eyes. He dropped his phone, groaned, and put his hands to his head while squinting. "AH, ??!"

Moonbyul quickly bowed in return before attempting to fix her ruffled hair. "Looks like we'll get along just fine Miyuki." She was happy that she managed to ease any tension with her little accident. A small sigh escaped her as she finally allowed herself to relax. Her shyness was finally disappearing and she finally felt like her usual laid-back self. Moonbyul suddenly became curious in what her other teammates were like, "I'm gonna head next door to see what our neighbors are like." She exited their room and took a quick turn in search of her future group members. Her eyes locked onto a door that had a nameplate with 1B on it and she tenderly knocked on the door awaiting a response.

Jihyo shuffled the suitcase onto her bed, unzipping it and unpacking after acknowledging Ye Rim's introduction. Still smiling widely, Jihyo began muttering about the fact she heard someone mention food and then something else Jihyo hadn't quite heard. "I heard there is this super nice place around the corner, not far I suppose, we could go soon, maybe we could ask the others. I'm sure they'd love that!" Jihyo turned her head slightly to look at Ye Rim. She bowed her head down, quickly pursing her lips together with the realisation that she was rambling on. "Sorry." Jihyo muttered under her breath before focusing on unpacking again.


After a few moments of brief silence, a knock at the door brought Jihyo out of her thoughts. "Could you?" She gestured over to the door, giving Ye Rim an apologetic look coupled with a much-too-happy grin and a slight giggle. Her current position of being balanced on her bed with arms outstretched across the plain walls above her bed, trying to stick photos of her family up, meant that jumping down to answer the door would most likely result in someone breaking a leg.

Sanha grinned, "Yep Bongju hyung~" He said, putting emphasis on the hyung part. His grin grew wider at the light punch Bongju gave him in the arm. They were definitely going to be good friends. Sanha knew it. "We should. I'm curious to see who they are." Sanha nodded. He sat back in the couch and relaxed himself. It didn't last for now though. Bongju's sudden shriek made him shoot up to see what was wrong with the older boy. "What happened?!" Sanha was quite startled at the sudden outburst to say the least. He looked from the dropped phone to Bongju's squinting eyes and finally picked it up after a few seconds of staring. Sanha had no idea what was going on.

Bongju collapsed onto the floor. It was as if his entire body shut down. His hand was over his phone. The KakaoTalk contacts list was open, with ?? (Mom) and ?? (Doctor) as favorites. Something was clearly wrong with Bongju, but he was still muttering. "Dark.. Dark.. mother.. doctor.."

?. Honestly, Sanha didn't know to feel about this situation. He froze for a moment, not knowing what to do but eventually regained his composure. He looked at Bongju for a quick second then looked up to the ceiling. Damnit! Sanha didn't know what to do! "What to do?! Call the doctor??" There was cleared panic laced in his words. He didn't want to cause an unnecessary commotion but Bongju clearly needed help and he had no idea what was wrong.

ye rim smiled as the girl speaked, nodding to her words. "Ah yes, I love that place! I've been there a few times with my family." she laughed and hit her playfully. "Why are you sorry? Your rambling is cute!"


standing up from her bed, ye rim walked over to the door and opened it, like ji hyo gestured for her to do. "Oh hello! You must be another trainee. Do you want to come inside?"

Moonbyul was slightly as the door opened up which led to her face turning a light shade of pink. She took a few steps back and bowed. "Oh yes! I'm in the room next door with Miyuki, I'd love to come in." Moonbyul carefully stepped into the room and noticed that there was another girl putting pictures on the wall. "I'm Moon Byul Yi, it's nice to meet you two," she bowed again. It gave her a chance to avoid eye contact with the girls she just met.

Since it seemed that Moonbyul went to 1B, Miyuki decided to go to 1A, the other room. She knocked, but saw that the door wasn't closed. She opened it slowly while greeting herself to see a panicking boy and another one passed out on the floor. "Hello, my name is.. ???????! WHAT HAPPENED?!" the girl would shout, for the everyone in the dorm to hear, rushing to the boy on the ground and checking his pulses. He seemed to be fine, but he was looking like he had an episode. She shook the boy, asking him to wake up. She looked up at the panicking boy and asked, "Do you know anyone who can help?"

"Ahhh!" Jihyo balanced herself on the bed, arms spread wide, admiring the poster she successfully managed to pin up. Quickly turning around to the sound of the door being open, Jihyo carefully climbed down, reaching out to Ye Rim's shoulder as she gained her balance on the floor.


"Hello! I'm Chae Jihyo, nice to meet you." Jihyo bowed her head to the girl, remembering her manners - of which her parents had drilled into her from a very young age. Jihyo took note of both Ye Rim and Moon Byul, realising that she had no idea how old the other two girls were. She also wondered if there were any other girls, but quickly remembered Moon Byul mentioning her roommates name.


Jihyo moved to her bed, sitting on the edge and gesturing for Moon Byul to make herself comfortable instead of just awkwardly standing in the middle of the room. "How old are you two?" Jihyo asked, shyly, hoping she didn't sound rude or too forward. But either way, it would be more polite knowing how old they were so she could treat them in a proper manner - as opposed to having no idea and being unintentionally rude.

She went along with Jihyo's gesture and attempted to make herself comfortable on the couch. It was still awkward to her since she didn't manage to get the other girl's name yet. Moonbyul fidgeted on the couch before taking a deep breath and reclining back with her arms crossed loosely across her chest. Jihyo's question cut through Moonbyul's semi tense aura because she wondered the same thing. "I'm 14 years old, how old are you two?" She was hoping that they would be older than her since she was use to being the maknae of her family, Moonbyul would feel a little uneasy with the responsibility of looking over the younger members.
