adults who will form a band with the hopes of making it to the top of the charts! Applicants must be between the ages of 18 - 30, and must have some form of musical or vocal training / experience. Head to TrueTv.com for more information.

Plot: Hello All! So this is an interest check for a band-based reality show. None of the participants will have ever met before the show begins; they do not know each other at all. And now they must live together, form a band, and come up with a number one single to be signed onto the prestigious record company, Prism Music, before the year is over.


Here is the twist: The band isn't actually called 'Spectrum' because of the variety of people, but because all of the members fall somewhere on the LGBTQIA+ spectrum. Unfortunately they are all also, for whatever reason, mostly, if not completely in the closet. They were honest on their application forms, but stated they were not out to the producers during their subsequent interview.


True TV, who was actually on the lookout for characters such as these, hopes to amass many viewers with a heartwarming story about how being yourself can lead to success... but will that really be the case?


What I'm looking for: This is going to be a casual RP, meaning a paragraph (5 sentences) minimum on posting. I tend to write more, but I don't want to scare anyone away, and this RP is likely to be dialogue heavy, so sometimes only a paragraph will really do. I'm looking for 6 other people to join (for each color of the rainbow) for the following:

Hey, this looks amazing! It's too bad that you've already taken up the Bass slot haha. I play Bass Guitar in real life so it would have been cool to play it.


On the other hand! I would love to play a Pansexual genderfluid on Lead Guitar if possible. Of course, I hope to have her musical background mostly in classical strings, though she took up guitar as a hobby and later planned to turn it into a career. If that's not too savory, a female on drums will work.

You don't really have to know much about the instrument to choose it, but it helps :] It's more about the interaction of our characters.

I usually just switch up my characters sexuality. Usually if it's a girl. She will be lesbian, demisexual, or bisexual. Boys the same.

Here are the RULES:

1. All RPN rules obviously apply.
   
2. Be respectful to the other RPers. Do not take conflicts between characters as a personal slight. If there is an issue, please resolve it maturely through PM.
   
3. No god-modding, metagaming, powergaming, etc.
   
4. I ask for a paragraph minimum on posting. That's 5 sentences, at least.
   
5. Please use proper grammar to the best of your ability. I understand if English is not your first language, or if your grammar isn't as good as others. Mine isn't perfect, but the goal is to make sure everyone else can properly understand your post.
   
6. Please note your character's guilty pleasure in the Other section of the character sheet. This is so that I will know you have read the rules.
   
7. I'm also looking for two characters to provide back-up vocals. So if your character does that, put Back-Up Vocalist in bold in the Other section as well.
   
8. I would prefer if everyone is able to post at least twice weekly. Life can get in the way some times, I understand, so just let me know so we can figure out how we can work around your character.
   
9. Please use a header on each post with your character's name. This is just so no one gets too confused about what character is doing what.
