Yars have passed since the fall of the portals, which connected dimension with dimension, which connected Humans and non-Humans. Only Non-humans have the capability to jump from world to world, using magic, while Humans are completely oblivious to their existence. Currently the world's population is at a ratio of 9 to 20, Non-humans are a minority.
