Lestat is cold, but not unreasonably so.
History:
Born on the Island of Serenity ,he was given the name Kyle Silva by his parents..Kyle would never know who his parents were, however, as they abandoned him at a young age. He was alone until he met his two friends, Alex and Slyvia. He lived a carefree life with his friends. He grew up with them. They cared for him. They were the closest thing to a family he had ever had. All of this would change on graduation day.
As soon as they throw their hats into the air, a dark cloud came upon the school. Dark figures emerged, and began attacking the school. He and his friends tried to fight them off, but to no avail. After all, they were only teenagers, what could they do? One by one, his classmates fell, leaving Kyle as the sole survivor. Until out of the blue, 2 men appeared to save him. One man was hooded, whilst the other man was significantly younger.
They spoke of the battle of light and darkness. They believed that the universe operated on a balance between light and dark. They said that the balance was out of order. They believed that the light was trying to swallow everything. They had a plan to stop this however. By using the power of darkness, they could bring back kingdom hearts. If that could happen, they could use its power to reset the universe. To bring back the worlds lost.
The hooded figure taught him the ways of the darkness, how to harness it, how to control it, and how to despise the light within him. Soon enough, he had unlocked the full potential of his keyblade by abandoning the light within him. Eventually, he was strong enough to face and kill the other apprentice as a rite of passage. After that battle, the hooded man was nowhere to be seen. Lestat did not care. His mission was clear. Find acolytes. Bring the world to darkness. Activate Kingdom hearts. Reset the balance. Then he could see his friends again.
