Gender: Male

Race: Human

Age: 23

Type of magic:

As an accomplished mage, Leon can employ numerous forms of magic. However, he specializes in select spells that compliment his style of combat.

Leon has two types of familiars that he employs, both of which he can transfer his consciousness into and directly control for reconnaissance. The first of these are a selection of stuffed animals, all of which happen to be the old possessions of his dearest sister. Not only can he control these and move about, but they also have multiple other uses. For one, if he so chooses he can turn the toy into an explosive singularity, sucking everything - including cars and other large objects - towards it for a second before releasing a powerful blast that could easily demolish a house. Next, some of these familiars act to siphon a persons life force from them. If a normal human were to come in contact with it they would face death within 3 seconds, and if they escape the familiars grasp they will be severely weakened. Lastly, his stuffed familiars can change form, growing in size and changing appearance to resemble a demonic form of their past self. Each one has enhanced durability and strength, able to tank the average magical spell and cause massive damage.

His second familiar is a human like doll, made to resemble his sister Freida. It is nearly impossible to tell the difference between it and a regular person except for a small carving made onto the middle of its back. It can move on its own and completely obeys Leon. With enhanced strength, speed, and durability, it is a force to be reckoned with and can withstand a barrage of attacks and spells before falling. On top of this, it can shoot out 8 more long appendages from its back, all wielding blades it can use to cut up its foe. However, Leon often puts his own consciousness into the doll and controls it remotely, remaining off the battlefield while still leading others to believe he is there. The doll cannot use any of Leon's magic nor can he use his other familiars while using it.

The doll looks like this:

Not many people can say that they've walked away from an encounter with Leon Wolff and outsmarted him, and those who do often realize too late that they were simply played like a fiddle. Leon is a learned man when it comes to magic and is by no means someone to be trifled with in battle, but instead he relies on a weapon that many consider more dangerous than even his most potent magic: his mind. Clever and conniving, he is never without a plan and always thinks three steps ahead of himself. Leon isn't above playing dirty and WILL  use every resource that presents itself to him. Some may call him a coward, but he simply refers to it as 'playing smart'. His calm and rational demeanor hides the fact that he's always scheming for a way to come out on top, as he's wiling to manipulate and use anyone and anything in order to succeed. Leon is ruthless and determined; very little besides death can stop the pursuit towards his goals.

To help him with this, it would come as no surprise that Leon is an exceptional liar. He plays whatever role he needs to be exceptionally well, and only the truly paranoid can manage to see through his act. Indeed, one minute Leon will be greeting you with his calm but confident exterior, and the next he'll be throwing your lifeless body into the deepest river. He is an extremely dangerous person to be up against, and he knows it full well. He is extremely arrogant and confident, and while he definitely has a reason to be he has been known to let his guard down when he feels things are 'too easy'. On top of this, the Wolff's are notoriously prideful people, and while Leon has attempted to shunt this, traces of his families greatest weakness still lingers within him. If provoked or angered, his pride will often force him into a head on confrontation with the aggressor despite his preferences for avoiding such actions.

However, despite what he may lead you to believe Leon isn't a completely reprehensible individual. In fact, harming and manipulating others is an act the man himself finds disgusting. He knows the agony and loss that one goes through when losing a loved one, as well as the good that each individual can carry out despite how evil they may appear, so to him messing with the  hearts of others hurts him inside. Still, Leon does so without hesitation anyways. He hates himself as he does so, but justifies his actions by telling himself it's the necessary thing to do. Leon knows full well of his selfishness, but instead of trying to change he claims it's just who he is as a person. There is a side to him that rarely shows itself, however. No matter how much he tries to hide and deny it, Leon is a good person at heart. In fact, magic is something he despises at its very core, as he sees it as just another source of power people fight over. He will sometimes stray from his plans for the good of others, and while he'll create excuses as to why, the true reason is simply because it hurts him inside to be himself.

Bio:

The Wolff's: a growing force in the magic community that has refused to accept their place on the totem pole and has made a point of throwing others off so they could climb higher. Their ancestors once under the foot of a much more powerful, noble family of magi known as the Garter's, the Wolff's have since broken away and formed their own legacy still holding onto that grudge from many years past. Often instigating and challenging other magi in order to prove their worth, many a family have been wiped from existence as a result of damaged pride. However, their ultimate goal of gaining vengeance on the family that oppressed them in the past had always just been out of their grasp. The Garter magic line had run much longer than the Wolff's and held infinitely more potential, and as a result every attempt the Wolff's had made to destroy their enemies had resulted in failure. Luckily for them, the Garter's had shown mercy and refused to do to the Wolff's what they had done to many others. Of course, this only served to hurt the hungry families already damaged pride even more, fueling their march to superiority.

Leon is one of the most successful products of this march. From birth he was thrust into competition against five other siblings, the most successful of them being praised and rewarded while the failures were harshly punished with beatings and, at worse, death. Every mistake was met with consequences, every emotional outburst scoffed at. With no room for error, Leon rose to the occasion out of necessity and managed to scrape by while his less fortunate brothers and sisters vanished one by one. While not the most gifted out of his peers, he knew he couldn't afford to be anything less than the best. To make up for his shortcomings Leon was forced to rely on more than just his magical talent. His creativity and tactical mind kept him safe from punishment while his siblings frequently found themselves victim to his sabotage. As far as he was concerned, he couldn't afford to play by the rules with everyone under the same pressure.

As time crawled forward, Leon's competition grew smaller and smaller. Every few years there'd suddenly be one less face at the dinner table, and everyone knew better than to question things. They all knew what was going on, yet no one objected due to the fear of facing the same fate.  All the children could do was strive to pass the tests and challenges bestowed upon them and hope they wouldn't be on the chopping block next. For the most part, Leon tried to disassociate himself from his brothers and sisters as he knew they'd all be gone one day anyways. However, as his odds of being whisked away into the night grew with every missing child, he knew he had no choice but to seek the help of his sister, Freida. being the most magically gifted of the children, Leon knew that she'd be his toughest competition, and thus he took advantage of her kind and caring heart. Despite knowing she would need to be better than Leon one day, Freida practiced and trained with Leon on a daily basis. She treated him just as a sister should, and despite his best attempts to push her away and focus purely on learning, Leon eventually became attached to his future foe.

Eventually, as fate would have it, only Leon and Freida remained. Both were informed that when Leon, the younger of the two, turned eighteen the two of them would participate in one more challenge to decide which of them would bring the Wolff family to greatness. Neither child wanted the other to die, but both knew that there was no way around it. Refusing to participate would likely result in both of them being executed and the process to be repeated, and attempting to escape would result in being chased and eventually murdered. On the eve of Leon's eighteenth birthday and the final challenge the two siblings met together one last time. However, instead of training or preparing for the task ahead, they instead cherished each others company. Freida and Leon both loved each other more than anything else, and thus they spent the night together. Freida joked around and recalled stories of their past, Leon snuck them both some wine, and in the end they found themselves wrapped together intimately in each others arms.

As the sun rose, so did the two siblings as they prepared for their last day together. Wiping the tears from their face, they marched to face their fate. Leon, as expected, performed exceptionally during the challenge, utilizing his intelligence and cleverness to surpass the obstacles in front of him. Freida, however, moved much slower than usual, and on top of that her magic proficiency paled in comparison to her previous performances. In the end Leon was crowned the victor, meaning Freida would be taken away and never seen again. Despite winning, Leon couldn't help but sob at the loss of his sister, though Freida managed to keep a smile on her face. As the two embraced one last time in a hug, Freida simply whispered "Don't feel guilty, I knew", and upon witnessing the shock on Leon's face, smiled one last time before she was taken away. Since then Leon has fostered a powerful hatred toward magic. He blames it for driving his family to do what they did, and ultimately leading him to poison his sisters wine the day before they battled. Chosen for the Holy Grail War, he simply has one goal in mind: remove magic from the world and avenge Freida's death.
