The Demon Librarian
Before the Kingdom of Lemuria was founded, there were four great races which dominated the landscape, scrambling for complete control over the land which they inherited. Each Race was at a sense of constant odds and so conflict naturally arose out of the four, and soon growing five of them until one man stood up and changed the world forever.
Feuding clans of Faires, Elves, Humans, Golems and Beastmen were put to an end as a lone hero, a Sylph Holy Warrior who had descended to bring justice and peace through conquest formed the larger Kingdom of Lemuria. This Holy Knight's name was Graymonte, and his success in battle paved the way for him to become the very first King of the Kingdom he created.
The five Races were no longer feuding but rather stationed as Lords, their respective kinds migrating to certain regions where all was peaceful and divided, the mixing of races on a grand scale still an iffy subject given the massive amount of bloodshed still not settled with.
And from this, a great peace arose as the Kingdom of Lemuria was under Graymonte's guidance until his death later on. Upon his parting he instated a single Heir, a half-Sylph to run the country, and soon the typical process of a Sylph ruler producing a single first born male or female heir or heiress arose with the Kingdom, and now, 64 generations later, the Kingdom faces grave peril.
Queen Maria the Second of Lemuria had recently announced an official declaration after much turmoil and rumors that the Undead, a race which only aimed to oppose and destroy the hope and peace Lemuria held, lead by the infamous King Satan of the Demons and his court of Five Generals were now officially declaring war upon Lemuria, and that they would retaliate.
But King Satan was no fool. He did not give the kind of declaration of war upon the Kingdom that most expected, there would be no draft for soldiers where young men would venture forth and slay the undead in many gruesome campaigns, the fighting was to be done in the form of a game.
The crafty Demon King devised a plan which stated the war was to be determined by the Outcome of 5 military campaigns. The rules were simple, the Queen would assemble her own court of five men or women, each of the five representing a different race, and each of these people being the strongest of their Races, elected through whatever means the races saw necessary at the time. They would be dubbed 'The Knights of Lumeria', and they would go as a group to 5 different places in the borderlands between the Demons' country and the Kingdom of Lumeria to fight against the five generals.
Simply put, the five campaigns would serve as markers for defeat or success. If either side won 3 campaigns, then that side won the war and the aforementioned territory the losing side owned, in return for there not being a single possible death count of over 10 people within the game so neither side would hemorrhage both money and lives.
What will the Outcome of this War be?
