  Spencer was working the day shift at his job when the outbreak started. He had heard rumors of some sort of rabies epidemic, but brushed it off as a bit of hysteria. It wasn’t until a woman, covered in blood and foaming at the mouth, stumbled into the store that he began to believe the rumors. He managed to escape the store with a few supplies, hopping a train out of the big city. Unfortunately, someone on the train was infected.
  
  Spencer escaped with his life, and another survivor. He and his companion have been running ever since, trying to make it out of New York.

  Chris was on a trip with his older brother when the outbreak began. They were on a train, heading out of the city when someone on the train started going crazy. They bit his brother and tried to get him before a stranger pulled him out of the train.
  
  Chris and the stranger- Spencer- are just trying to get to the last train out, though Chris isn’t sure what’s left out in the world anyway.
